(I do too. Tomorrow no matter what I'm going to my local fish store to see if I can get a cycled sponge from them. To speed everything up. I just lost another one today. The gill area was bloated for whatever reason. But seven fry, I think. It's so hard count them.
I've seen all of the first season of DISCO, and haven't seen Picard at all. I'm almost there also. Did you hear that they announced a show with Anson and Peck?
It was. This week I think mid 80's. Like I said weather's all over the place. Really, that's interesting? I'm all about the fruit!)

(Is it just me, or are you getting a tinkering to have Spock and James turn into dogs?)
Abby simply arched her back into Jim's hand sighed contentedly. She slowly slid down to lay down against Jim's body. It was becoming fairly obvious that Abby was a bit overly protective and possessive of James in this form. Partly because of everything that had happened and partly for her feelings for him due to this form's lack of being able to hide her feelings. She was definitely the cool floor relative to her fur coat. Which speaking of, was plastered itself all over James.
The only thing T'Aimnu did once Spock sat down, was the exact thing she did a few moments ago. She laid back down on Spock's lap and somehow twisted herself so that T'Aimnu could hide her nose in Spock's lap/crotch. She was content to just lay there as she had settled herself, even if it did look fairly uncomfortable for her.
McCoy smiled softly at Cam while, rubbing her ear. "Be a good girl, and this will all be over soon." While still rubbing her ear, Bones reached over to grab a hypo and drew a fair bit of blood. The man continued to whisper sweet nothings to the dog, sometimes about the promise of food and other times about be human. It took the man a little bit longer to go through the list due to keeping Cam on the table and calm. He double checked his list to make sure that he checked everything and gotten everything he needed. Giving Cam one last pat on her her head, he quickly organized everything to start studying later. "Cam you ready to get something to eat?" He asked.

(I hope that helps, whatever’s going on with the fish may do best if dispersed in a bigger tank and all idk. I dunno what the bloating’s about. I’m sure it’s not worms, with the tank being smaller you’d probably see it. I know my guppies would bloat sometimes after fights, like weird infections from wounds and such. Hopefully it’s not some disease. Shoot fry are difficult to count lmao. I hope they stay difficult, harder for the other fish to catch oof. Sevens awesome though
Is Discovery good? I’m thinking I’ll rewatch TNG all the way through before Picard, also kinda waiting for another one of those 30 day free trials-. Shoot isnt that the Pike spinoff? I’m super hyped about it!
That’s a bit better! Hopefully the humidity won’t make it too hot smh. Humidity really makes the line between hot and cold very very fine.
The fruits honestly the best! I’m soo hyped for blackberries. They have overgrown and reclaimed a good chunk of land. You already know there’s gonna be plenty left once the birds get at them. I’m so hyped, and I’m about to sound like a redneck I apologize in advance, but I’m hype for peanuts. Like they’re so good boiled and pulling them from the ground is An Event. It’s kinda goofy but I definitely look forward to that. I also grew a poppy this year! It finally bloomed, yesterday actually! I never get them to do anything because you basically have to have weeks of 70 degree temps and rain. If it’s cool around here, it doesn’t rain. I got soo excited, they’re probably my favorites.)

(That would be pretty funny! Should we do it like while the girls are still dogs, or after?)
Jim relaxed some. The two dogs seemed content for now. He decided to take this moment to rest. Something else could happen at any minute. He sat down next to Abby, petting her back softly. He was careful still, not wanting to hurt her. He also didn’t want to rile her up. “We’ll get you back to normal...” He reassured her, but it was more for his and Spock’s benefit. He didn’t want the woman to remain a dog for any longer than she had to. His hand drifted up to her head, his attention going to her eyes, searching for some bit of old Abby inside them. He scratched between her ears, thankful that there was enough of her left to recognize him. Things would be significantly harder on him mentally if she hadn’t been as overprotective. Jim smiled a little, considering her obvious preference of his company over Spock or Bones. Another thought crossed his mind about her change, this more about the change that had occurred on the other ship. Even in a dog form, she was trying to protect him. That had to be a carry over from the training she had, but mixed with her own feelings. That thought removed the smile from James’ face, leaving a concerned look.
Spock looked about as uncomfortable as a Vulcan could for a while. It took a while for him to get used to the dog laying out on him, especially with another human in the corridor. Once again, his concern disappeared and was replaced with worry for T’Aimnu’s condition. He rubbed a part of her belly that was within reach of her twisted position. His mind was occupied, trying to calculate his chances that he’d ever see the other Vulcan again. Jim’s words brought him little comfort, McCoy’s confirmation of a cure would bring more. However, the very faint smile returned to his lips. It was rare he ever saw this much emotion from T’Aimnu. The display from the dog was almost endearing.
Cam seemed fairly content in McCoy’s attention. Once the hypo was pulled out, she started to grow slightly anxious. She remained on the table, without moving too much, the attention keeping her fairly calm. The mentions of food seemed to especially keep her cemented in her place, as did the promises of returning to her human state. Throughout the tests, she let out a few low noises, more like her attempting to voice her disagreement than an aggressive growl. Once it seemed Bones was ready to go eat, she immediately hopped off the table. As she hit the ground, she babied one of her front paws, the one that she had burnt the night before. Cameron started to pace a little, remaining near McCoy. She scanned Medbay like something was going to jump out, clearly anxious to leave the place.

You're a lot of help*says it extremely sarcastic* Maybe it was infection. Haha no kidding. I always panic when I don't see all 7 or I think is 7. I do wonder how many there were to start. I'm pretty sure they're too big for the mom and the rest to eat them .
Discovery is ok. Nothing fancy, it has its moments. I'm not a huge fan. I only have two characters that I really like, Tilly and Phillipa, the first one anyways. Same. It is. It's looking like it should be pretty good.
I KNOW RIGHT!!!!! You're always too hot or cold. Only once in a bloodmoon does the humidity make it just right.
I'd love to see fresh peanuts out of the ground one of these days. I've never seen it before. I'm sorry Bear, but you sound extremely like a redneck, especially about the boiled peanuts. Parents and I tried boiled peanuts when we drove to St. Augustine in Florida from either Tampa or Orlando. The most disgusting things I've ever tried. A guy down the road at a Dollar General was super happy to get them as they were still warm. Nice on the poppy! You're lucky that you can grow blackberries. I have a plant that's only produced about 30 blackberries over the last 5 or 6 years and did nothing. I miss going down to Oregon and picking them down there. They have the best. The ones in the grocery stores aren't ripe and often bitter.... = disgusting.

(I want the guys to be there for the girls transfer back to humans. So what if the Kirk and Spock repeatedly go back and forth? )
As Jim spoke to her and scratched her ears, Abby wagged her tail slowly. Her eyes met James' glaze with her slow tail still going. Once James sat down Abby sat up and readjusted herself. She did the exact same thing as T'Aimnu, which was to hide her nose in Jim's lap/crotch. With her adjustment, her eyes started to close. She wasn't going to take a nap, but she was finally calm enough with James sitting and her laying on him and Jim petting her. She sighed in contentment.
The moment Spock started to rub T'Aimnu's belly, she flopped around so Spock could reach more of her belly. Once she was settled, the woman's back paw started up. It was moving in a circular motion. She was also eyeing Spock and slightly panting, trying to anticipate his next move. Honestly though, she was just enjoying the attention that Spock was bestowing upon her.
"Sorry sweetheart. I know it's not the best feeling, but it's needed." McCoy sighed, rubbing Cam's head and then padded her back as he stood up and took a look around. Once Bones was happy with the state of everything, he made his way to the rest of the group. "Cameron come on girl." He sighed, running a hand through his hair. It was obvious that stress was starting to get to McCoy. "Who's up for some food?" He asked.
Abby tilted her head at McCoy's mention of food. Although it was only mild interest, she was content enough to lay there with James's attention.

(LMAO I’m sorry I don’t remember half of what I used to know about fish. I just remember I had one fish swim up into the filter, bump her head, then like a year later randomly took a jump out of the tank. Weirdest. Fish. Ever. Also remember about the fry, and that fear of like counting all but one and just wondering yknow. I hope yours are big enough to at least be spit out.
Oh jeez. Folks have been pretty quiet on Discovery, so I wasn’t sure if it was just mediocre or if no one had seen it. I’ll still probably look into it, probably after Picard though.
The temperature has to be exactly 68.946782° for 100% humidity to feel comfortable. Any slight change, and it’s either too hot or too cold.
Pulling them up is a lot of fun, gotta make sure the soil is wet though or it’s like trying to pluck a washer out of cement. Oh come on, boiled peanuts are a delicacy! That one (1) fact, the presence of my excellent taste in food, does not deem me a redneck. You probably got like muddy lukewarm cashews if you got them in Florida jk jk. You just gave them to someone??? I appreciate you not wasting the ambrosia that is boiled peanuts, but I’m shocked. (I’m kidding in like 95% of this I swear). I’m actually gonna be around for the entirety of summer too so I’ll get to pick blackberries throughout the season, even the bitter green and sour red! I’m very fortunate to have luck with them, especially as they are entirely wild and I don’t even water them. Grocery store produce is almost always dry and bitter, but blackberries are some of the worst about that, yeah. They worry more about the size and shine of the berry, not the taste.)

(Okay, yeah. So they just fall in and out of the illness? Any preference on who gets it first?)
Cam followed after McCoy. Any excuse to leave the area was good enough for her, especially if it was to go with him for food. Once they met up with the others, she remained near the man. She didn’t seem to interested with the others, only giving them a glance. Her tail was wagging once again, happy to be closer to food.
Jim sighed softly, a smile coming across his face again. This had probably been the most relaxed he’d seen Abby in some time. Even in such an awkward position, she seemed as content as she had been, at least in this form. Once he heard McCoy come up to them, he finally looked away from the dog in his lap. “Yeah, I’m sure everyone’s hungry.” He looked back at the dog, surprised she didn’t look as enthusiastic to eat. “Come on Abby, lets go eat.” He spoke slightly softer to her, not intentionally. He tried to shift so that he could stand up, but didn’t want to hurt her, so he remained seated. “Did you find anything, Bones?” He asked, still awkwardly trying to pry the dog off him without totally rejecting her attention.
Spock studied the response to his petting. He had read about Earth’s dogs and their likeliness to respond in such a manner. The faint smile stayed on his face until he heard McCoy’s voice. While he trusted the other man, he was even more against allowing this sight for him than he was for Jim. He forced away the small smile, clearing any signs of emotion from his face. He nodded at the mention of food, looking at the dog who hadn’t moved. “T’Aimnu.” He removed his hand from her belly, wondering if that would be enough to get her to move.

(Not at all. As long as the guys are human when the girl turn back. That's my only request. )
"Can we walk and talk at least?" McCoy asked, starting to lead the way. "So far nothing. I'm going to have to sit down and test everything and review and then review again." McCoy sighed. "Nothing is making sense. The anti-viral should have been a cure all. The only thing that could be something that is binding to the antibody stopping vaccine from working, but I don't understand how." McCoy rubbed his face in frustration. "It's just not making any sense. Maybe something from planet side? The only thing that I can think of in the moment."
Abby's ears perked up and she awkwardly lifted and twisted her head as she heard the word food. She let the word sink in for a moment before she nearly tore the ground up to stand. Abby simply stared at Jim as if to say 'What's the hold up? Let's go eat'. Her tail started to slowly wag, still staring James down, muzzle only a few inches away from Jame's face. After a few moments of James not getting up, Abby licked at Jim's cheek a time or two for not moving quick enough for her liking.
It took T'Aimnu a moment to essentially wake up and realize that Spock had stopped rubbing her stomach. She poked her head to look at Vulcan. It took the female a moment after looking around and seeing Bones, to flop off of Spock. She rolled over to her stomach and sat next Spock, her fur touching him. She glared slightly at the intrusion of McCoy. From there, T'Aimnu pulled her ears back making a look of rejection towards Spock.

( Weird.... I think so at this point.
Let's say it's very decisive. Either you like it or you don't.
Agreed for the most part.
That sounds like our clay and carrots, heck even horseradish which is the devils' spawn to deal with and kill when you've relocated it.
You better have been joking! I could smell the stuff in the rental car for hours after we got rid of the cursed stuff.
I hate blackberries for that reason alone. If I or my family pick them, I love them. And can't get enough of them. I think we may still have some berries that we just froze from 2 or 3 years ago that I may drag out to boil down and put over vanilla ice-cream. Either way, you're making me drool at the thought.
You're so dang lucky. We just don't have the climate for them.)

(Alright. I think I’ll go Spock first.)
Spock remained still, waiting for T’Aimnu to almost lazily get off of him. Once she had, he immediately noticed the look of rejection. “T’Aimnu-“ He started to explain, then stopped. At this point, there wasn’t much logic in her. His explanation would be useless. He instead stood up, then turned to give her a pat on the head. It was an unspoken apology of sorts. As the others started to leave, he followed behind them with T’Aimnu.
Jim laughed at Abby’s response. He stood up and gave her back a soft pat. “Alright, I’m up!” His attention turned back to McCoy, and he grew more serious as he followed the other man. He listened to what they knew, or at least, what they didn’t know. “If it was something planet side, wouldn’t it be in our systems this time?” He questioned, considering that they would have been exposed as well, even if they hadn’t already caught it before.
Cam, who’s attention had almost entirely been on Bones as they walked, glanced at the others once. Suddenly, she started to bark, looking past Jim. A fourth dog.
James was surprised more by Spock’s silence than Cam’s barking. It also confused him as to why she was barking at the Vulcan, when she had been so involved in watching Bones only a few moments before. “I think she wants your opinion, Spock.” He turned to look for his friend, a small smile on his lips as he joked. However, he didn’t see Spock. In fact, he didn’t see anyone at first, not until he looked down slightly. Once he did, he stopped dead in his tracks. Next to T’Aimnu was a Doberman Pinscher.
(I literally looked up most intelligent dogs, then decided on this because they’re pretty stoic dogs from what I’ve seen. The ears were a bonus. I hope I ain’t make a bad choice on this.)

(I just got like soo busy just then BUT my cousin just brought up she has CBS all access and??? Now I do too! Kinda sorta related to what we were talking about.
Horseradish is quite possibly my least favorite thing we grow. It’s a pain, and it’s nasty.
‘Cursed stuff’ WOW Boiled Peanuts are one of the tastiest foods ever. Imagine that smell as a perfume, like orange citrus or cherries or whatever. I’ll be making Boiled Peanuts Deodorant.
Oh shoot yeah some frozen ones may be good. I have never put blackberries on ice cream, that sounds super good! I complain about the weather too much but the climate is actually fantastic for a lot of food. I should consider that more smh. Y’all got the cool trees and ferns and stuff from what I’ve seen. I can’t grow a fern to save my life. I had an asparagus fern for like two months and no matter what I did, I feel like the plant was suffering. We have pines and pecans. If you want to have a fancy yard, oak, magnolia and dogwoods.)

{ Well tell me when you start watching it and let me know what you think about DISCO at least.
Then you know my pain. And the burning eyes. And the burning sinuses.
I seriously hope you're joking about it. When you have a good nose, boiled peanuts smelt nasty. Especially when you can smell it 5 or 6 hours after they've left the rental car or the next day.
It is super good. Just boil/reduce it down and if you picked the blackberries right, then you would add the minimum of sugar. Dude if you think that's Washington, you've misunderstood. That's like a 1/3 of the state. The other 2/3 is semi-arid and most is farmland of some sort or another. Sure we can grow just about anything that can handle the cold, but we don't get a lot of water.}

(I still haven’t gotten to start yet BUT I did get to log in today so I’m all set up. I’ll let you know though
Okay but, to be fair, just about any smell in a rental car that last over several days suddenly becomes one of the worst smells ever. Even pizza smells get ruined once they’re trapped over days. The WORST car smell from a food (don’t get me started on marching band shoes left in trunks) would be Fanta, in my opinion. It’s way too sweet smelling if it gets warm. I think I’ll try the blackberries though
What little I’ve seen of Washington was the cool tree area. I think I saw a little bit of the semi arid area, I just remember cows though for a bit and then we slipped back into trees. I figured the cool trees area wasn’t all of the state but I knew that was windy as heck, and you mentioned wind, so I wasn’t sure. Guess it would make more sense for it to be even windier without trees. You all must live in a wind tunnel jeez. That’s still pretty good though, I mean watering is probably a pain because you don’t just wait for it to rain in the afternoon, but you still get to grow some stuff pretty decently.)

T'Aimnu did her bump and then was a few feet ahead of Spock when Cam barked and T'Aimnu glanced back at Spock. Or at least where the man should of been. Her features showed her pure horror and she turned around and cautiously approach the new hound in an accusatory manner with her ears slightly pulled back sniffed at him. The confusion was visible on her face.
Abby watched the entire thing, letting a small bark of amusement at the whole thing. It was funny for her, but she didn't it was possible.
"It's a possibility. Did you two eat or drink anything I didn't? That might be a good question from which to start. It could have chemically acted similar." McCoy started down a rabbit hole, in his explanation, he didn't stop till he looked back to where Spock should be, and his thought process became a train-wreck. "Good lord." McCoy approached the Vulcan now dog with some hesitation and kneeled. "Now that you're officially a mutt..." McCoy's words died off. "Now we really can't afford this. Jim you've better not do this on me. Quickly tell me if you had something I didn't. I need to know." Bones picked up Spock's shirt off of Spock's body.
(Good choice.)

Jim followed after McCoy hesitantly. Surely that wasn’t actually Spock? It wasn’t exactly like the Vulcan to play a prank. He eventually walked up to the new dog, holding his hand out for Spock to sniff. It had to be him, who else would the dog be? It had Spock’s shirt on top of it. He gave McCoy a look. ‘Not do this on him?’ It wasn’t exactly like he had a choice, he doubted Spock had, or the women. “We did have dinner on the planet, before you and Cameron came down.” He thought about it for a moment, then shook his head a little. “Cam would be normal then. It might have been in one of the drinks. Spock had what we all had during dinner, maybe they offered the same drink in the ballroom and Cam just happened to drink it.” That would mean he was as likely to get it as Spock and the women had been. He gave Spock a sympathetic look, knowing he probably wouldn’t enjoy being a dog, then turned and walked back to where he had been standing. “We need to hurry. If we’re going to eat, let’s hurry and get back to work.” Work meant he may end up being tested on. Fantastic. Being stuck with a hypospray seemed to be his luck right now.
Spock’s nose filled with stronger, but familiar scents. He sniffed at Bone’s shoes once he walked over. His ears folded back slightly, almost indignantly at the mention of being a mutt. When Jim followed, he took a step closer to him, practically glaring at the doctor, before turning his direction to sniff the offered hand. He glanced at Cam, who had stopped barking, and Abby, before looking at the dog who had neared him. He sniffed at T’Aimnu in return, looking much calmer than she did. His ears perked back up again as things slowly made their own, strange sense.

"Didn't you five have some sort of drink that I didn't?" McCoy asked, seeming to recall something vaguely. He looked at the group of mutts. Shaking his head, he rose. "It's just another trail to follow. On an empty stomach, not happening. Let's eat and get back to work." Bones started to walk with some urgency to get everyone some food. "You think it might be easier to feed everyone in yours or my quarters?" He questioned. "So we can eat in peace without being bugged every five seconds." Bones added as an afterthought. Either way food was his first thought at the moment, but at the base of his thought process was trying to figure what all could be happening to his friends. That was the only thing that mattered to Bones in the moment. Food so he could focus on the problem at hand
Abby nosed Jim as if to say Come on slow poke. Need food now. She looked back at the man, kind of sensing the urgency at which they needed to move. She didn't really understand what was going on.
T'Aimnu started to sniff Spock again, his full length from tail to nose. Once T'Aimnu was happy, she play-bowed to Spock and nosed around his face. She still was a bit nervous around Spock, not fully understanding what was going on. She licked his face a few times as if to say 'Welcome to the club'. She still was a bit panicky, not sure how to take this all in and how to process it at the same time.

Spock stayed relatively still as T’Aimnu sniffed at him. Once she seemed content, he responded to her bow with a playful bark. His tail perked up and started to move ever so slightly, as he planned his next action.
“We did.” James practically sighed. “At least you’re not likely to get it.” They’d have someone with their wits about them, at least. He looked at Abby, knowing she was hungry. “I’ll get you food, don’t worry.” Food would make everyone easier to work with. He glanced at the two Vulcans, making sure they weren’t getting into trouble. The two, surprisingly, seemed to be playing. Thankfully, Spock didn’t seem to be aggressive as a dog. “Spock, T’Aimnu, lets go.” He directed, then turned to follow after Bones. “My quarters are bigger.” Also, they were probably more of a mess already. Dogs wouldn’t be able to make the situation worse. Jim started towards his own quarters, looking at Abby every few moments. He was worried for his friends, but he was most worried for her. She had been through enough already, now this. “Will all this affect Abby’s wounds from the mission?” The Captain asked as he opened up the door to his quarters and let everyone in.
Cam finally left McCoy’s side once they entered Jim’s quarters. She hurried over to the replicator and started to pace underneath it, barking softly, impatiently, at Bones.
Spock followed after the group, and once inside the quarters, followed behind Cam to the replicator. He sat near it, staring at the remaining two humans expectedly.

"It might slow her down for a bit. Slow the healing of whatever may have popped up after the dermal regeneration. I imagine it takes a lot of energy to completely shift forms." Bones sighed, entering Jim's quarters after the last mutt entered. He made his way to the replicator and started ordering various meats and vegetables plates for the dogs. "Cam, sweetheart, I know." McCoy muttered, patting Cam on her head. First plate was placed for Cam. "Cam, food." Since McCoy wasn't sure how everyone was eating, he was separating everyone. "Spock and T'Aimnu." He put out a double portion out of meat and cooked veggies in a different spot. "I'll let you order for Abigail Jim." McCoy nodded, ordering some biscuits and gravy.
T'Aimnu entered Jim's quarters and stuck fairly close to Spock until McCoy put their food out. Which is T'Aimnu jumped slightly to sniff at what have offer them. She wasn't exactly thrilled at eating meat, but she started to eat anyways.
Abby slowly entered Jim's quarters, she sniffed around for a moment. She seemed a bit stressed after her sniffing around and she started to pace. Abby softly whined for a moment, she could smell James all around. But she could see and smell everyone else in the room. Her whine could have been mistaken for food.

I was way too shocked by you not knowing Fanta than I need to be jeez. I forget people don’t get smothered by Coca Cola 24/7, that’s just the Nehi/Orange Crush/Orange Shasta equivalent. It’s orange, as in the color, flavored as it taste nothing like the fruit.
Washington was really pretty. I could not fathom the wind. I think(?) my dad lost his hat in Washington, but that was a while back and I can’t decide if it was that trip or in Northern California.. Washington has like different areas if that makes sense? Like Georgia is trees, clay/sand or coast. Even our ‘mountains’ are more just tree but on hill. You guys have some differentiation which is really cool.)

“Great...” Jim sighed, watching Abby slowly enter his quarters before he left from the entrance. He let McCoy get the plates for everyone else, his own attention focused on Abby. “I’ll get you food, girl.” He spoke softly, giving her head a pat as she paced. He’d much rather be sharing a meal with her, alone, and with the human version of her. Once the other man was done getting the plates, Jim gave a nod and walked over to replicator. He made a plate similar to what McCoy had been making, then placed it on the ground for Abby. “Here.” He offered her a small smile, hiding his concern. Once he had decided the other dogs wouldn’t try to eat it, he made his own plate, a wrap and serving of fruit. He was worried about Abby, and wanted something relatively light. He looked back at the woman turned dog. If anything could stress out James Kirk, it was Abby. He sat down in a chair near where he had set down the plate, then started to eat.
Cameron watched McCoy create the plates, her tail wagging at the very mention of food. As soon as the plate was down, she dug in. She didn’t entirely taste the meal as she ate, since she halfway scoffed it down. Once she was finished, she scanned the room for more food. Spock hadn’t finished his plate, so she slowly walked over towards him.
Once the plate was set down for Spock, he just looked at Bones. Then he looked at the meat, then back at the man. He let out a bark, still staring, trying to voice some sort of complaint to the doctor. Eventually, he turned back to the plate and started to eat. When Cam attempted to sneak up, he noticed immediately and watched her. She sat down, watching the plate and the other dog, panting softly as though nothing was going on. Spock hesitantly returned to his meal, but noticed the German Shepherd start to creep closer again. This time, he let out a low, warning growl.
“Spock, that’s enough.” Jim sounded rather disappointed, having hoped that at least Spock wouldn’t have an attitude. “Cam, leave them be.” He looked back at Abby, hoping she wouldn’t get involved in any altercations. Thankfully, Cam gave a huff and moved away, and Spock went back to his meal. The Shepherd walked over to McCoy, sitting down in front of him. She gave him a pitiful, begging look, like she was starving.

(They’re actually really good! I watched I think Runaway and Children of Mars? They’re both really good, I’m trying to like spread them out though because shorts are really easy to watch all at once.
Ohh okay. Yeah Shasta is kinda just soda flavored but orange, but hey if I can get 6 for a dollar I guess I won’t complain too much. Yeah, hope you never have to encounter that smell..
Dad’s lose their dad hats in nothing flat.
Also I just suddenly remembered that I heard a song that would be great for Abby/Jim but I already forgot it? So I’m gonna look into that cause I’ve only been listening to three playlists, so it’s somewhere there.. Also saw a meme I think and it worked for something but I forgot so I’m gonna do some searching on that as well.)

Abby watched Kirk put the bowl in front of her. She watched and sniffed with some disinterest. She made sure that she was near James. She took her time and only ate about half of what was offered. Most of what she did eat was the veggies. Once she was done, she wandered over to James and curled up on his feet, facing away from the man to keep an eye on the other dogs in the room. From there, she started to chew and lick at one paw while still having an eye for the other canines.
Just as McCoy sat down, he saw Cam inching towards Spock. "Cameron, come on woman. I gave you a full plate girl. Now quit your begging. It's not going to work with me." He scolded. Once he was three-quarters through his plate, Bones handed half of biscuit to Cam, more like in front of her nose and finished up his meal. He returned his plate. "Jim, I'm going to head to the Medbay and started on everything. This is going be an all-night project." He muttered the last part under his breath. "Cam, come on girl. I'm sure Jim will have his hands full with the others." By this point he was standing at the doorway to the corridor.
T'Aimnu, once she ate her half, laid down. She had a full stomach and was quite content. She laid down a few feet away from Spock, her eyes were watching him finish. She barely looked away from her food to what Spock was growling about. T'Aimnu didn't pay much attention to anything or one.

(Yeah that one hit, I won’t lie!
Yep like little cans. Them Dollar Tree prices amen. Have you heard they’re changing the prices on items in the store, so it’s basically gonna be Dollar General? Don’t even get me started on how dumb that is to me.
Dangg that sucks. I think that particular hat my dad lost was from the Blue Ridge Park.
YO I REMEMBERED AND IM GONNA TYPE IT UP BEFORE I FORGET. Well I remember the song at least, I think. This one is applicable and on a playlist and a bop so who’s to say. It’s veryy 80’s though I hope that’s alright. Straight Up by Paula Abdul. It really fit for a bit earlier on because I feel like it’s obvious Kirk’s a softie for her, but it still kinda applies. Also it’s a bop and I personally have fantastic memories attached to it so I’m very biased but. Update on the meme, I remember it was in a video. So I’m going through my YouTube rn.)

James watched Abby pick at her food. She’d been so hungry, now she was barely eating. He sighed as he watched her walk back to him, not moving as she lay on his feet. “You’re not hungry anymore?” He asked, basically rhetorically as he probably wouldn’t get much of an answer. He put down his own meal on the table, nearly done with it, then reached down to pet her head and upper back softly. “What’s wrong?” What wasn’t wrong? She was a dog, possibly in pain. He watched her chew at her paw, frowning. He had half the mind to make Bones check the paw out, but that would mean leading everyone back down to Medbay, as Jim wasn’t going to let Abby go without him. “Alright Bones, let me know if I can help, or if you find anything out.” He scanned the group of remaining dogs, silently hoping Cam would go with Leonard. 3 dogs was plenty. “I think we’ll stay here. If you call and no one responds..” His voice trailed off. It would be best to contain them, especially if it was possible that they all could be dogs. He returned his attention to Abby, reaching down a little to hold out his hand near her paw. “Abby, let me see your paw.” He wanted to see just why she was paying so much attention to it.
After the scolding, Cam did look slightly more genuinely pitiful. That changed once she was offered half a biscuit. She took it gently, her tail wagging as she had accomplished her task and would be rewarded with food. Once the man started to leave, she followed after him. She hesitated at the doorway, glancing back at T’Aimnu and Abby, before slipping out into the corridor.
Spock continued to pick at his food for a while, still not exactly thrilled with the meat. Eventually, he tired of this and laid down a foot or so close to T’Aimnu. His eyes watched her, but his ears were perked up as the men spoke. Once things grew relatively quiet again, he turned his head lazily to glance at Jim and Abby before looking back at T’Aimnu. He still didn’t seem quite used to his new form, of course, none of them were.

The minute James mentoned her paw, Abby pulled her ears back slightly and slowly looked at the man in question. Like James had caught her doing something she knew she probably shouldn't be doing. Abby sat up slowly and pain stakingly slowly gave Jim the slimy wet paw that she had been nawing on. Abby didn't want to give James her paw. Nothing seemed to be wrong on it minus a bit less hair than her other front paw, but she did appear calm down as McCoy and Cam left Jim's quarters. One of two things, anxiety or allergies.
Bones simply rolled his eyes in amusement at Cam's behavior. However as Jim's words died off, a fair tight lipped frown became known on his face. "Good luck with those three. I hope I have some good news soon." Bones sighed and walked out the door to Medbay. The first thing he did was to get a dog bed for Cam near where he was working. He of course didn't want to run her over while working, but he did want her to be somewhat comfortable.
T'Aimnu sighed when Spock didn't lay again her. She huffed having a slight temper, stood up and then just about plopped down on Spock. Even though she was slightly smaller that the male, she did her best to curl herself around Spock. One good thing that she figured out that using Spock for a living pillow was much more complicated and comfy in his current form. She huffed again and sort of started to drift off into a half awake nap. This time around both Abby and T'Aimnu were doglike in their disposition.

“Abby...” Jim insisted, gesturing with his hand to give him her paw. She knew that she was doing something he wouldn’t approve of, or, at least she was letting off that she did. He waited for her to place her paw in his hand, not wanting to grab it and accidentally cause her pain. He studied the slimy paw once she finally gave it to him, looking it over for anything wrong. The only differences seemed to be some missing hair, probably from where she had chewed at it. Allergies or anxiety, whatever it was, it seemed to stop bothering her once McCoy and Cam left. He put her paw down softly, patting her head a little. “What’s wrong?” He sighed, wishing he could tell what had caused it. Regardless, it had stopped for a moment. He pet her softly, trying to at least keep her mind off her paw.
Spock watched T’Aimnu huff at him, becoming curious in why she was upset with him. He pulled his head off the floor and watched her come over, looking as confused as a dog could be once she plopped down. He sat perfectly still, watching her sprawl out around him. Once she stopped moving, he glanced over at Jim and Abby, then back at T’Aimnu before putting his head down again. He didn’t nap, instead he sat there quietly observing the quarters. When he did move his head, he moved it slowly as to not disturb the other dog.
Cam seemed to appreciate her dog bed. She remained in her spot for the most part, on occasion getting up to follow an interesting scent. She would eventually remember where she was, and wouldn’t want to wonder very far from McCoy. Once she stopped wondering, she stayed near her dog bed. Whenever McCoy would stay at any area for too long, she would drag her bed over and lay a foot or so away from him.
