(And 4 Otocinclus, I started with 6. Finnicky creatures from what I've read. I'm not sure I could take much more. I did have a sickly goldfish, but he didn't last long less than two weeks the poor thing. I've set up a goldfish tank!
Haha... Our neighors to the east aka Idaho are the stupid ones, apparently one of the counties let their mask mandate expire. Dummies. We aren't really. I'm just worried for what winter has in store. He's stepping down tomorrow. News broke today....
It fits my moody really. And feels really good honestly. I'm glad you laughed.)
T'Aimnu did not stray far from Spock. Admittedly she stayed much closer to him than Abby did with Kirk. This was more of needing to stay out of the alpha's way more than anything else. If anything, the past few hours definitely showed that Abby had more of a dominate streak than anyone would have thought, even Abby herself. T'Aimnu did happen to make note of what Abby did to Kirk. If Abby had not been so irritable, the Vulcan might have barked her approval or even a bit of laughter. Her Vulcan-humanness was about done with this entire thing.
When Jim passed Abby, she looked up from her sniffing to give the man a weird, cheeky, toothy grin. Her lips kind of caught on her teeth which was what caused the look. Abby kept her head low to the ground. It almost looked like she was on the hunt for something. What, that was the question. She didn't stray from Kirk, but she stayed far enough away to avoid retaliatory moves. She wouldn't purposely hurt anyone, well most anyone, but a bit of roughhousing wasn't out of the question. Just to burn some steam off. That would be the best. Or perhaps to get off the ship that caused all of her problems. That would be another good option in her mind. At least that would be good if she were in her human, normal form anyways.
McCoy's shoulders dropped once Cam's look registered with him. "Cam I promise." He brought his forehead to hers and closed his eyes. "I just can hear the racket you would give me if you were normal. As soon as everyone is settled I promise you I'll rest. Besides, I'm not sure these old bones can handle much more staring at a 'scope anyhow." He sat up and leaned back into his chair. His hand was still petting Cam's head. "First priority is you and the others." He muttered.

(Huh I had never heard of those. Looked them up and they look pretty neat though, I hope you have luck with them. Sorry about the goldfish. That’s cool you got a whole other tank up though! I’m sure they’re living it up in there.
I’m fairly sure my hometown still has their mask mandate but I don’t think my town has had anything in a hot minute? We were one of the cities the governor tried to sue over it, since he didn’t want there to be mandates, so I think our mayor dropped it? I know the county that my roommates from has full in person classes in their k-12 and they just got rid of their mask mandate in their schools. The winter is scary yeah, people are already getting the flu with covid. I can’t imagine.
Lmaoo sometimes you just really wanna read about a dog nipping someone.)
Spock could tell T’Aimnu was as wary as him, and probably unlikely to start anything at this moment. Her temperament was more like normal than Abby, who seemed to be showing a different side. What she had been involved in before being restationed on the Enterprise had either drawn an unseen side of her out, or created a new side altogether. The Vulcan kept close to the now dog Vulcan. He glanced over at Jim, making sure the bite hadn’t been more severe than it looked. As they boarded a turbo lift, he shifted far enough over to place plenty of space between him and Abby. He kept an eye on T’Aimnu, not wanting anything to erupt on the lift.
James’ pride hurt much more than the nip, and it still hurt as they walked. If Cameron had bit him, he wouldn’t have batted an eye. Even T’Aimnu, who rarely vocalized discontent with his decisions, would have been less surprising. But Abby? He felt Spock’s eyes on him, probably checking to see how badly he was wounded, but didn’t return the look. His eyes were fixed on Abigail. The toothy grin was confusing to the Captain, who just thinned his lips out and shook his head. “I don’t always get you, but you don’t make any sense right now...” He muttered, mostly under his breath. She had been more confusing since her return, but this had all been something else. When they reached the turbo lift, he stood outside the door and waited for Abby to board first. He wanted to make sure neither dog bursted away, and that he would be able to stand between them once both were on. Jim finally met eyes with Spock, giving him an exasperated look, then quickly looked back down at the two dogs. “We’re almost there.”
Cam seemed a bit more relieved when McCoy seemed to understand just how discontented she was with his lack of rest. She gave out a soft huff again, this one more of reluctant acceptance than anything else. Her ears perked up a little, and she leaned a little into his hand as if to show she believed him.

(It seems like they'll do fine(Trying not to count my chickens before they hatch). My goldies are, that's for sure.
Yea, getting really scary, not just about the virus, but the election too....
Haha! Right?
Have you kept up with how many new Trek shows they've announced?)
As the group boarded the turbo lift, T'Aimnu stayed fairly close to Spock. But she did not sit on his feet like she would have in the past. She just sniffed around the lift, but gave Kirk and Abby a fair amount of space in the small area. It would have been nightmarish if a fight had started. Someone would definitely have gotten hurt. That someone would have more than likely everyone. She did have some issues staying on her feet with the lift in motion, her paws scrambling for grip.
Abby's improved hearing as a dog, her ears perked as she looked back at James, having heard his comment. She whined lowly. Her tail slowed its back and forth motion, and continued its slow journey to between her legs. It was almost like an apology, like she was only trying to flirt and it didn't come out right. Seeing how James was almost guarding the turbolift door, soured her mood more. Her eyes were becoming more black and somehow Abby's ears pulled themselves back more. As Abby entered the turbolift, she surveyed the area. Somehow the dog managed to shove herself the farthest away from both Spock, T'Aimnu and even James. She laid down and nuzzled her head into her fur. It was an attempt to make herself as small as possible.
T'Aimnu saw through what Abby was doing and slowly approached her friend. But promptly ran back to Spock as Abby let out a warning growl. T'Aimnu was not going to deal with the mood Abby was in. Abby didn't even look at her friend before starting to growl.
"Thank you girl. Just a bit longer and they should be down here." McCoy sighed, seeing Cam's ear perk. He brought his head back down to rest gently against Cam's for a few moments. From there, he kissed the top of Cam's head. He was looking at Cam, but was obvious that he mentally wasn't there. He didn't stop petting Cam with both hands, his mind had slipped back to the problem at hand.

(Understandable, still good to hear though.
The election keeps going ‘psych’ on us and it was funny the first three times but knowing it’s 2020, every morning I’m fearful of the results. It’s the first time Georgia has ever mattered in anything other than college football and Atlanta news though uhh that keeps me going. Kind of afraid of what may happen if they ever finalize our results though..
I heard about the new Pike and Spock show coming out as well as I think a Section 31 show? Is there more? I’m hype! I’m caught up in Lower Decks, it’s kind of a good show to put on while cleaning. I’m getting caught up in Discovery and Short Treks and need to start Picard still.
Also I dunno if we’ve considered this plot idea yet but I figured I’d add it to the list. We could maybe do a mirror universe plot but like change it up a bit because if I recall (and I hope I’m right on this because I’ve definitely been doing a Chris Pine Kirk this whole time) we’re doing AOS. I saw a sketch of AOS mirror universe uniforms and just thought about it idk.)
About halfway through Abby boarding the turbolift, Jim looked fairly guilty. He saw the response and assumed it was from what he’d said, and he could kick himself for saying it. Once she was on, and with absolutely no issues as of yet, he boarded after her and the door shut. The sooner this was over, the better. No matter how much she had changed away from the Enterprise, the change couldn’t have been anymore confusing than her mood as a dog. On the lift, he had been ready to place himself between Abby and the others, but found she had removed herself. That just made him feel worse. He turned towards the dog huddled in the corner, frowning. “Abby, I’m sorry. I’m just tired.” When she was tired, apparently she bit people. James still felt like he had done much worse than her. After all, she probably wasn’t in full control in this state.
Spock watched the two dogs carefully. Both were in moods and now in a tight space. All of this could end roughly. However, both dogs seemed to want nothing to do with the other, or with the two men. That sparked curiosity in the Vulcan, who felt the absence of the dog who typically sat on his feet immediately as the lift began to move. However, maybe it was for the best. Conflict was the last thing they needed right now. He watched T’Aimnu try and keep her stance as the turbo lift moved, having half the mind to try and secure her in some way. Then, she started on her way towards Abby. When the low growl came out, Spock could hear Jim hold his breath before his feet slid closer to the dog in the corner and T’Aimnu’s claws scrapped away.
Jim was thankful that T’Aimnu did not antagonize Abby after the growl. At least she seemed to still have some of her past sense with her at the moment. He wasn’t going to risk it twice, this time moving fairly close to Abby, his pant leg barely grazing her fur. If she was going to bite anyone seriously, may as well be here and be him. They’d be in medbay soon, why not make Leonard fix up a dog bite too?
Cam seemed relatively relaxed for the moment, enjoying what little attention she was receiving. In this state, she could recognize that his mind wasnt entirely there, and licked at one of his hands in an attempt to draw it back to the present.
As the lift doors opened again, this time at medbay, Spock immediately stepped out. He knew how much the women loved the area, especially in their current form. They could probably hear and sniff out the location, and wouldn’t be too happy. While their moods didn’t seem in the right place to try and run, the Vulcan wasn’t going to take the unnecessary risk. While Jim, once again, waited behind to make sure both dogs moved forward, he waited outside the doors.

( Did you hear who the president elect is going to be?
They've announced a Picard a short form prequel with Riker and Troi! I'm still waiting to pay for Trek.
I think once of us brought it up. It sounds solid to me. Just need to work out the how and why/what happens. Do you want to do it after this dog fiasco? Yup you're right about the Kelvinverse.)
The moment the turbolift doors opened, T'Aimnu skittered out. She paid no attention to Spock, Jim or Abby. She trotted past the Med Bay, sniffing around. It was like she was purposefully avoiding the Bay in the hopes of not having to actually go in .
Abby stiffened slightly once she felt Jim brush up against her. She just reacted by coiling herself trighter in her ball of fluff. She reluctantly stood as she smelt T'Aimnu leave the tubrolift and dragged to leave herself. Abby did not pay any attention to James, or look at him. That space was a bit small for her liking. She stopped about twenty feet from the doors, plopped down and refused to move, having smelt was what ahead of her. At least Abby had the smarts to not lay down in the middle of the corridor.
The warmth of Cam's tongue caused McCoy to chuckle slightly and shook his head. "You're such an attention hog darling. You'll be back to yourself soon enough." He sighed. "Jim and company should be here by now. The sooner the better." He muttered, looking around for them.

(Sure did! I have to drive about 4 hours through rural Georgia tomorrow and I’m sure I’ll end up hitting at least one train of supporters for the loser, cant wait (I’m being so sarcastic right now)
Oh shoot, that’s really cool! I’ll never have nothing to watch again. This definitely is a good time to be a Star Trek fan.
Yeah, I’d definitely have to rewatch that episode in the TOS to review too. We could do it after the dog situation finishes. We probably need to figure out what plot we are gonna do next. Are you leaning towards anything in particular?)
Jim waited for the two dogs to file out before walking into the corridor. Their reactions were about to be expected, and he smiled a little. “Abby, I know you hate being in there.” He walked through the empty, thankfully for the moment, corridor. He stopped between the stubborn dog and the turbo lift, a few feet away from Abby. “I don’t like being in there either, but it’s the only way to get back to normal.” He realized she seemed to be the individual least interested with maintaining her normal form out of the group. “I’ll be right there, and you know Bones wouldn’t hurt you.” Once again, he wasn’t sure if that was enough to catch her interest. “If we wait too long, you’ll just be in medbay longer.” That probably wasn’t necessarily true, but it may help. If all else failed, he would just pick her up and carry her in, whether she liked it or not. He paused for a moment, then sighed and crossed his arms. “The sooner you go, the sooner you can’t sleep. I’m not going to let you fall asleep here.”
As T’Aimnu and Abby both started out further from the lift, Spock followed after. He passed Abby as she stopped in the hall, following after the other woman as she passed medbay. He paused briefly in the entrance of medbay, looking inside before continuing on. “T’Aimnu, it is imperative that we enter Medbay as soon as possible. This form is causing damage to you, Abigail, Cameron, Jim and myself. The sooner we found out if the cure will work on you three, the sooner we will all be out of danger.” He tried to reason with the dog, hoping there was enough of the Vulcan in there to be logical about this.
Cam’s tail wagged harder as she received more of his attention. Her own attention slipped away at the sound of people passing in the corridor, her head turning to look as Spock briefly paused on his way after T’Aimnu. She moved a few feet away from McCoy, giving out a curious bark and trying to figure out what everyone was doing outside the Medbay.

(Oh ouch... Good luck! I hope it isn't a dumpster fire for you!
Oh shoot, that’s really cool! I’ll never have nothing to watch again. This definitely is a good time to be a Star Trek fan.
I think so? I mean... It's more of a wait and see thing for me. Yeah, I’d definitely have to rewatch that episode in the TOS to review too. We could do it after the dog situation finishes. We probably need to figure out what plot we are gonna do next. Are you leaning towards anything in particular?
I'll have to also. No, not really. I guess lately we've been watching a lot of Westerns, a bit of Trek, and some Ghost Hunters/Adventures. Because there is literally nothing on...)
Abby huffed and then groaned. She flopped over to her side. This was the woman's respond. Abby was not going to move and her plan of action. Rather her plan of inaction. She was going be a pain in the rear. She scooted around on her side and stretched. Someway she managed to have her back toward Kirk from her squirming around. Jim's words had no effect on her. She was just being a annoying, stone cold stubborn golden Shepard at the moment. A very dramatic, bull headed at that. Abby seemed determined enough not to have to enter the Bay.
T'Aimnu turned slowly to face Spock, looking very annoyed. She groaned her annoyance and slowly padded to Spock's side. To show her annoyance even more, she head butted Spock in the behind. Not to hurt her, or even Spock. Just a way to show emotion and her annoyance at having to go to the Bay and not being allowed to sniff around the area.
"Look at that Darling. They're here. Need to talk to them to get this over with." McCoy sighed softly. He petted Cam's head once more before standing up and grabbed two kits and approached the small group. "Jim, Spock. I have two options. Simple enough process. Keep them here or wear bracelets and send to quarters. It's your choice. Sooner it's done, the happier I'll be." Short, quick and to the point, typical stressed McCoy.

(I should be good! I know the route pretty well and my car is in pretty decent shape so I should be able to just fly through the questionable areas. I am kinda curious to see if all the flags/signs have been removed or not, since both sides seem to believe they’ve won.
Have you seen Lower Decks? I’m still not sure how I feel about it.. I think I was expecting too much.
Oh dang. During quarantine I watched a lot of westerns because that’s what my family had on. I’ve started watching a lot of King of Queens, Fresh Prince and The Office because it’s on ALL the time for some reason. Also felt the ghost adventures, always seems to come on at like 10 pm and stay on all night. Ran through Avenue 5 and Twilight Zone.)
Jim let out a long sigh when he realized just how stubborn Abby was going to be. “I didn’t want to do this,” He started, nearing her again so that there was only about a foot between them “but I’ll pick you up if I have to.” He waited a moment longer, considering his options. Pick up Abby and get this over with, risk aggravating her even more in the process. Or, he could leave her, and she may end up a dog forever. He didn’t like the second option one bit. The Captain moved to pick up the stubborn dog, kneeling next to her, right before he heard McCoy. He was thankful that dragging Abby into Medbay didn’t seem to be a requirement, and that this would all soon be over. “I don’t think getting Abby into Medbay will be easy, let alone making her stay. I think she’ll do better in quarters.”
Spock watched the annoyed T’Aimnu express just how dissatisfied she was with the situation. At least enough of her reasoning was still with her. He had turned his attention to Kirk and Abby when T’Aimnu headbutted him, taking him by surprise. He shifted forward slightly, then looked at her, this time not looking nearly as surprised as he had by her past actions. He should’ve seen it coming. “Thank you, T’Aimnu.” He still thanked her, as she still seemed to be making an effort to move towards Medbay. If a Vulcan could be sarcastic, however, what he said could have easily been taken as that. When McCoy appeared in the corridor, he glanced over at him, then at the dog who followed. When Cam started on her way towards T’Aimnu, the Vulcan positioned himself between the two before she retreated. “I believe T’Aimnu would do best outside of Medbay.” He responded, returning his attention to the doctor and the dog in question.
Cameron had followed Bones out into the corridor, still in a relatively good mood. The first of her friends that she saw was T’Aimnu. She didn’t pick up on the annoyed attitude, having missed the headbutt. When Spock stepped in between the two, she gave both the Vulcan and the Vulcan-turned-dog a look before turning and heading back towards McCoy. She then noticed Abby, but immediately got the sense she shouldn’t approach the other dog.

(Let me know if they have and good luck!
No. What snip-its I've seen, it reminds me too much of Seth McFarland humor which I hate with a passion.
I'll be honest, the Virginian might be fun to play around if you're interested somehow.
Should Cam and Bones stay in the Medbay, or quarters? If quarters, which one?)
Abby simply rolled her eye to look at McCoy, but more or less ignored James.
"I figured as much." McCoy sighed. He started to explain the kit and what to do. "It's relatively simple. I've labeled the hyposprays. One's a sedative. I can't imagine that it won't be painful, perhaps even more so than last time due to the time spent in this form. From there the antidote. And if they're sore and in pain, a pain killer if need be just to get on their feet and walking. Make sure that they always have the bracelets. Should anything go wrong, I'll be notified. " He looked down at Cam. He just wanted everything back to normal. "So where are you planning to hunker down at? Need to know. Any other questions? Not sure how long it should take. Each person is different." In each hand, was a kit for each woman. He held them out for the men to take. "Let me know when they're full humanoid and up and about. Should be enough sedative to keep them out for about 4 hours. Which should be enough to get everyone back to normal.
T'Aimnu sat down and just stared at McCoy, and then blinked at Spock. Her tail doing a singular slow wag at the prospect of not going to the Medbay.

(Will do, and thanks!
It’s basically a tamer version of MacFarland humor, yeah. I was really looking forward to the concept but they do very surface level ideas in my opinion idk.
The Virginian the Western show?
Maybe McCoy’s quarters? I’m gonna have Spock and Jim go back to their own quarters.)
Jim listened to the directions. He didn’t like the idea that Abby would be in pain even after this was over, but if that’s what it took to get back to normal, it had to be for the best. He watched McCoy as he explained the different parts of the kit, then looked back over at Abby. “I think we’ll head back to my quarters. Don’t have any questions yet, but I’ll call you if I do. I’ll let you know if anything happens, and when Abby’s back to normal.” He wasn’t sure how easy it would be to get the dog anywhere except where she lay, but getting her back into the quarters would definitely be easier than medbay.
Spock listened in carefully to the instructions, wondering how well T’Aimnu would respond to a hypospray that hurt. At least it sounded that things would be vaguely back to normal within 4 hours. “T’Aimnu and I will also head to my quarters.” He decided it would be easier to get in to his own quarters than to try and override access into her’s, and watch her in the process. “No questions, Doctor.” He considered questioning the possibility that this procedure could fail, but he knew McCoy well enough to decide against that. Even he could tell how exhausted and frustrated the other man was. He looked down at T’Aimnu, who seemed to be in better mood without having to go to medbay. “Are you ready?”

(Ugh.... Now, I'm not sure if I want to watch it.
Yup. I don't know how we'd swing it, but it might be fun toplay around woth it. Maybe McCoy’s quarters? I’m gonna have Spock and Jim go back to their own quarters.
I don't know/care. TS to the quarters?)
Abby simply huffed and then groaned at Jim. More likely than not it was to continue showing her annoyance to James.
"Alright. Reminder let the sedative do its work before injecting the antibodies. Don't want to fight them more then necessary and stress them out more than is need." McCoy nodded, offering the kits to the men. "I was going to stay here with Cameron, but I am probably moving her to my Quarters. Probably gripe at me if she wakes up here." Bones huffed at the idea with a shake of his head.
T'Aimnu huffed, groaned and then barked at Spock. She sat up, then stood and made her way to Spock with each sound. As if to say, 'Stupid having to ask that, ya dummy. Hurry up already. We should have left twenty minutes ago.' Although she would have stated that more eloquently if she had been Vulcan. Her tail flopped twice, showing her impatience. T'Aimnu also pawed repeatedly at Spock's leg.

(So now that you got me thinking about plots, I've came up with a few.
I feel like I've been spotlighting Abby a lot recently. What do you think about doing our own version of that one TOS episode where Kirk gets split into two persons?
If you wanted to do something western, I've got three ideas we can run with. First idea City on the Edge of Foreverequse. Past Tense part I and II aka transporter accident. Third is away mission gone wrong. Kidnapping perhaps on a planet like what happen in A Piece of the Action. I'm not sure if you tired of time travel.
I will admit that I stole this from my Doctor Who plots and if you aren't familiar, please look up the titles. If you're interested we can spin it for Star Trek. Just let me know, I'm thinking that somehow they get separated forcefully underground somehow by something chasing them or it would start from the plot above. --- gets locked behind the door. The Doctor sees her, but he can't do anything. She gets knocked out by some sort of gas and they do something to her memories to the point that anything having to do with the Doctor she can't remember. They take her away to I'm thinking the 1890's, she is living right across from where she was living in England before she went with the Doctor. So the Doctor moped around for a week or two, then he is off determined to find ---. -- right is a city, kinda like the Doctor is during the events of Human Nature. But none of the adventures of her and the Doctor leak through her dreams. She just has a feeling that she doesn't belong there and that she is forgetting a major part of her life which is the Doctor. The Doctor shows up on her door step all smiley and happy that he had found her. For --- She had been there for about 3 months and the Doctor about 1 to 3 weeks. Abby doesn't recognize the Doctor and he knows something is wrong. Turns out that the --- he met on the front door is a doppelganger. The real --- is down stairs in the harness that is seen in The Rebel Flesh. He releases her. He has to help her regain her memory. We take it two different ways. One is that once they wake her and get her out of the harness and her memory comes rushing back because the Doctor was there and reminded her and then they are chased to the TARDIS. Or they are chased by the thing took --- in the first place. He takes her to the TARDIS then the scene in Human Nature where Doctor asked Martha if they seen her face. And her memory is back. That's where it leads up to the Human Nature scene. When her memory is taken away, it's stored deep within her mind.
It might be fun to do our version of This Side of Paradise. )
