{How do you want to timeskip?}
Abby put her paw down and leaned against James's knees and nosed at his face. She took a sniff at his lips just to see what he had been eating, but she seemed somewhat disinterested in the food. After a few minutes of the petting, she scooted her behind back a couple of inches she could awkwardly sit and lay her head on his knees for a few more moments with a soft groan. After that she slid back to where she was laying on his feet once more with a small groan.
T'Aimnu opened her eyes briefly to watch Spock. From there she scooted away from Spock with her feet in the air. She did the whole feet, back scratching against the floor with a couple of throaty sounds that came from her. She paused with her feet up in the air and her nose resting on the ground. She repeated the routine and then completed paused with her feet up. Between her and Abby they were acting more dog than human and Vulcan.
After moving around a bit, McCoy saw Cam drag her bed around. "Cam, you're going to be making holes in that bed with as much as you'll be dragging it around to keep up with me." Bones joked as he leaned down to pet the woman near his feet. "It seems like something in the alcohol inhibits the cure sweetheart. Either way, we're close to getting yourself back to your stubborn self.

(Did you still want Jim to end up a dog, and maybe Spock switches back for whatever reason? If we still want to do that, I can start with Spock going back to normal and Kirk running around as a dog for a bit, just before they’re cured. And then he’d go back to normal before McCoy shows up with the cure? Or do you just want to skip of dog Kirk, and go ahead and cure them? Regardless, I can start after the skip.)

(I finally found a breed I kinda liked for Kirk. They’re described as intelligent, adventurous and friendly and it seemed to kinda fit.
Also do they remember anything about being a dog once they come out of it?)
Some time had passed since McCoy had left the quarters. Kirk had kept them all in the area, despite wanting to go check on things around the ship in person. Instead, he’d called in to multiple areas, making sure things were still alright. He avoided calling down to Medbay, not wanting to break any concentration. During that time, Spock returned to a Vulcan state, which was to some relief. It was good to have someone back to normal. It was also a relief to know that switching back could happen without a cure.
Spock was soon the one in charge, as a new dog appeared in Jim’s place. A yellow flat-coated retriever showed up under the Starfleet golden uniform. The Vulcan approached the new dog cautiously to examine him, even though it was obviously Jim. The dog seemed to be in a fantastic mood, thankfully. Still, it was another person who was definitely affected. Having not been part of the conversation where they ruled Bones out of infection, he wondered if the other man had fallen ill. “Spock to Doctor McCoy. The Captain has also fallen ill, but I am back to normal.” Spock didn’t ask if he was speaking to a dog or a human, as if there was no response, that would be answer enough.
Cam had given up on dragging her bed about some time ago. She settled on putting it in between half the areas McCoy was working at. It probably wasn’t the best place, but once she settled in, she started to nap. When she head Spock’s familiar voice, her nap came to an end and her ears perked up.

{Hahaha. I totally see it! Heads up for whatever reason, I'm not receiving emails on you replying so I'm not sure what's going on...?
Very little. But I think I had mine sort of retain some memories and some instincts. Like overprotective of Spock and Kirk, a little bit more emotional for a little while after being human again. If that makes any sense?
Ok Sorry for Abby. I'm not sure why she is being such a whiney hormonal female dog, literally. So again I apologize for that. )
"McCoy here. Glad here you're back to normal Spock. You were no nonsense as a dog as you are now. Let me guess Jim's also a Golden?" McCoy retorted, sighed and shook his head. His stress level was rising. "Thanks for the update. Everything from the girls is coming to a dead end. Also I hope you found your clothing that Jim had stuck somewhere. At this point I've got two different tests running and two possible cures one for the girls and one for you and Jim."
Abby had napped briefly, some whines and other vocalizations making themselves known. A few moments after Spock started talking, Abby lifted her head and let a loud whiney yawn. She looked to where Jim had been prior. Abby sat up fairly alarmed, having not yet seen the new dog in the mix. She stood and jumped up to the chair and sniffed around. Her ears were pulled back and eyes were black as coal. She turned around and awkwardly laid down on the chair with a pouty huff. Her head laying off to the side of her paws. She blinked a few times. From there Abby lifted her head with a tilt and looked at Jim. The dog had Jim's shirt on. He smelt like Jim as far as she could tell, but he didn't look like her human. That confused the heck out of her.
T'Aimnu also had managed a nap and awoke to Spock's voice. She let out a bark of laughter, realizing what was going on. As if to say to Abby, Hahahahah!!!!. It's your turn for the confusion. Though she did wag her tail a time or two upon realizing that Spock was back. T'Aimnu definitely didn't like the dog version of Spock. He was even worse in her opinion.

(Huh thats odd. Thanks for letting me know, I hope you can figure it out.
Yeah that makes sense. I forgot how we handled that last time lmao, I’ll do that for Spock and the other two when they come around.
Lmao it’s okay, it’s kinda funny. Also T’Aimnu’s response to things right now is hilarious.)
Spock was about as relieved as he could possibly be when he heard McCoy’s voice. “I would assume my logical thought process would carry over, even during this illness.” While T’Aimnu’s typical logic hadn’t followed her into this form, he had hoped his own had during his time as a dog. Of course, he didn’t necessarily remember much of his own personality during the time, but McCoy had confirmed it. “Close. He’s a yellow flat coated retriever.” As he spoke about the dog, he walked over to the chair and removed the shirt carefully from the dog. He was careful not to disturb Abby especially. Jim sniffed at his arm for a moment, but his attention turned away and Spock placed the clothes neatly on the table.
“Two different cures? Fascinating.” It made sense that they may need two separate cures, but it could make things more difficult if one worked and one didn’t. “When will you be certain on them?” Spock wasn’t certain how much time they had left, recalling that the last time this happened, there had been a possibility that the girls would be stuck like this forever. He didn’t exactly want to be stuck as a dog, nor did he want T’Aimnu or the others to have that issue. He turned to look at her for a moment at the bark, glad to see she was at least in a decent mood. He walked away from Jim and Abby and to another seat, sitting down and considering the possibilities.
Jim seemed to take this switch a little more like the women and less like Spock. He sniffed around, curious to his surroundings due to his new senses. When Abby hopped up, he immediately went to sniffing at her. He gave her a few friendly barks, his tail wagging slightly and hitting the chair. When Spock came up, he sniffed and licked the hand lightly as he removed the shirt, then turned back to Abby. He gave her a few more sniffs, then his mind suddenly went to where his shirt was up on the table. He hopped up on the surface, sniffed at his shirt for a few moments before examining the rest of the area. He sat down and looked at Spock, clearly knowing he shouldn’t be on the table, and almost challenging him. Once he figured he’d one the challenge, he looked back over at Abby, his tail wagging again.

(It seems to have been fixed itself. Glitch maybe? We'll see.
It is!)
McCoy chuckled in frustration. "Of course. Make sense, knowing Jim." McCoy sighed, frustrated. "Every simulation has given it a 50/50 shot of working. Spock, at this point, I'm just following my gut. Only way of trying it out. I want to take care of girls, before I think about you guys. Mainly due to time, if what is happening to the girls, then I think I have everything figured out. I think." McCoy shook his head, even though Spock wouldn't be able to see. "Hint pay more attention to Jim and Abigail. Wouldn't trust them together. McCoy out."
T'Aimnu sat up as Spock moved away from her. Which made her a very unhappy dog. On seeing Spock had sat down, T'Aimnu stood up, padded her way to where Spock sat and plopped down on his feet, literally.
Abby cocked her head slightly as her eyes lit up watching James. She hopped off the chair and padded over to the male dog and put her front paws on the table. She watched him for a moments, sniffing his face and then scooted around, sniffing. Her tail wagging the entire time. Abby spent more than her fair share of sniffing Kirk's butt in the traditional dog greeting. Her tail sped up slightly as she dropped back the ground and returned to Jim's front half and gave him a couple of careful lovey licks. She took a couple of steps away and gave a play bow, her tail wagging.

(That’s good! Hopefully so.)
The last thing Spock needed to hear was McCoy was following his gut. Nothing else created uncertainty in the Vulcan like that, especially under such circumstances. He almost voiced this, how going with one’s gut didn’t seem like the best way to find a cure, but decided against it. He could hear the frustration in the other man’s voice, and even if his disagreement was genuine, it would only cause more frustration. He took into consideration the doctor’s warning, his eyes going over to Jim and Abby immediately after. “I will.” Once McCoy’s voice was gone, his attention briefly went to T’Aimnu as she approached him. When she plopped down, he reached down and pet her head gently, his eyes going back to watch the other two dogs.
As Abby approached him, Jim’s tail wagged faster. He sniffed at her carefully once she came within range. He moved slightly in an attempt to face her before she came back around to his front side. At the licks, he returned a few similar. When she shifted back, he barked softly at her, like he was concerned she was leaving. At the play bow, he almost immediately mimicked her, then came back up from the bow. A second after standing there, his mouth closing after having previously been panting, he bounced up a bit. Jim moved closer towards her, bouncing up like he was pouncing down on something but not landing on Abby, his mouth open again as his tail wagged.
As the two started to play, Spock wasn’t certain if he should break it up. It wasn’t a fight, it could be worse. He doubted it would become that, but still. He also didn’t want Jim to end up tearing up his own quarters. “Jim.” He called, but got no response.

(Maybe I'm wrong, still haven't seen an email.)
She whined happily at Jim licking her back. Abby barked softly, yet playfully a moment. Her lips were caught on her teeth, like she was kinda smiling. Abby was definitely happy, her tail showing that with its wagging. Abby watched Jim do the pouncing movement as he approached her. But Abby didn't let James get too close to her. In fact she tore away from him, sprinting around the room and then jumped on his bed. Abby somehow didn't run into anything. She play bowed at him again, staying down and waiting for his next move. The entire time her golden tail did not stop moving. Matter of a fact, her tail wagging was making her butt wiggle a bit two. The female dog somehow turned this into a game of tag, or cat and mouse.
T'Aimnu lifted her head into Spock's hand. For a few moments she watch the male. She was entirely unhappy with the fact that his full attention was not on her. She thought out her options. And then went with her gut, which was to leap onto the chair that Spock sat on. For whatever reason, she thought she was a lapdog at the moment. She shimmied her butt back as close to Spock as possible and laid down. The position she was in had to be discomforting at best, but T'Aimnu didn't seem to mind. She closed her eyes, only occasionally open them to watch Abby and Kirk with some mild disinterest.

(Great.. I dunno. Is there like a help ticket area or something? May be a glitch that others are having too..)
Jim’s ears flicked slightly in surprise when Abby rushed off. His tail stopped moving for a second, and he watched her, mouth closed once more. However, this surprise did not last long once he realized what the game had become. He leaped off the table and dashed across the room after her. He ended up running over the plate of Spock’s half eaten food that had been left on the floor from before. The dog’s mouth opened again, his tail hanging out as he darted across the quarters. He jumped up onto the bed after Abby, barking as he started to believe he may catch up.
Spock’s attention went solely to the other two dogs once Abby took off. Someone was bound to get hurt if they continued to run around like that, or break something, or both. “Jim, Abby.” He warned again. He considered trying to pull rank, as the acting Captain since, well, a dog couldn’t exactly be Captain. However, he wasn’t sure how beneficial that attempt would be, as he wasn’t sure how much of Kirk was still there. Abby wasn’t entirely still there, so he doubted it would have any effect on her. He started to get up, but felt a weight jump up onto his lap, causing him to fall back into the chair. He looked down at T’Aimnu, the oversized lap dog on top of him. “T’Aimnu-“ He started, but realized this was probably the only way to make her content. He leaned back in the chair, a faint frown on his face as he ran a hand over the fur on the lap dogs head. He’d have to stop Jim while sitting with the lap dog in his lap.

(Ugh I feel so bad for leaving you high and dry. Been having a lot fish issues that have drained me. Summer has been suupppper weird.)
Abby yipped in excitement, her eyes were bright and tail wagging happily. She poked Jim twice once on where his jaw met his head and then once on his butt before zooming around his room with her nose. Once Abby completed her lap, she leapt back on the bed. She used her front paws to press against him playfully. She bowed again, her tail and butt was hanging over the end of bed. She definitely was enamored with Jim at the moment. Her tongue was hanging out of the side of her mouth.
As Spock laid back, T'Aimnu buried her in Spock's arm and body. However that was after she stared at Spock chastised her. She pulled her ears back, her eyes a bit black. Her wagged slightly, slapping against Spock's legs. The woman paid no attention to the behavior of Abigail and James. She had one person on her mind at the moment. T'Aimnu stretched, front paws on either side of Spock and sort of kneaded her furniture with her claws. She relaxed, shimmied slightly, and closed her eyes finally happy in her awkward position. T'Aimnu couldn't help but shift herself to the one side that she chose to bury her muzzle.

(You’re totally fine! Jeez yeah I hope all your fish issues clear up, you’ve been through a lot of them this summer, I’m sorry about that. Hopefully things will level out for you.
Should Kirk go back to normal now?
Also this is entirely off topic but have you seen the ads for Lower Decks?)
Jim’s tail wagged excitedly, watching Abby intently. When she poked at him, he quickly poked her back, as if tagging her. As she took off, he followed quickly behind her. Carelessly, he ran through a plate that had been left on the floor, and knocked over one of the few room decorations, but did not slow down. He leapt up on the bed after her, letting out a few playfully barks as she pushed him. He jumped at her, landing a few inches away from her, then took off across the room again. This time, he ran a full two laps, then went down through the middle and once again back to the bed.
Spock realized he didn’t have much control over any of the dogs. Jim and Abby didn’t seem to even be aware he was still currently in the room. T’Aimnu seemed to think he was furniture. He pet her softly, watching the other two dogs running. “Jim.” He tried again once something was knocked over, but didn’t even get a look from the dog. He finally looked at the dog settled in his lap. “T’Aimnu, can you get up?” He asked softly, almost feeling faintly guilty for making the dog get up just because of the other two dogs acting up.

(Ugh, me too. But I'm currently running an experiment with 4 long finned danios in the big tank, if everything goes well, in the next two weeks I should be able to put everyone in the big tank.
Totally up to you.
Yea, not sure that I'll watch it. But I will give it a try.)
In the time that Jim spent running around the room, Abby did her best to not fall off the bed. She definitely didn't expect Jim to jump at her. In the end she lost her battle with gravity and fell off the bed with a thump and a soft groan. She took two seconds to stand and shake herself off, acting like nothing happened. She stalked around the bed, trying to get the jump on James. Given that she didn't see him, she turned around and jumped back on the bed, and took a step. She tried jumping on James to literally land on him.
T'Aimnu slowly lifted her head to look at Spock. She whined softly, her eyes almost black as coal. She stood and gracefully jumped of Spock's lap with a soft groan. She twirled twice and sat down against the chair that Spock currently occupied. It was definitely obvious that she was not a happy camper. She groaned her disappointment when she laid her head inbetween her paws.

(Hope things go well. How is everyone doing while not in the big tank? Also how did the fry turn out? Any make it?
I think I’ll give it a try. I got ridiculously excited when I saw another Star Trek coming out, even more so when I found out it was about the lower decks. I feel like the humors gonna be cheap though with minimal effort just ‘haha look funny guy who gets nervous’ and I’m kinda bummed out about that but at least it’s something.
Also I may not be super active soon? I really don’t know, but I thought I’d let you know in advance. I had a thing go down with my eye and lost sight for a bit, freaked out, now getting tests done to figure out why. Also trying to get courses lined up for next semester and get back moved out. Testing shouldn’t last over the next week or so, and courses are finally lining up (that has been ridiculous don’t even get me started) though so I should still be fairly active. Just thought I’d let you know in case.)
James had heard a thud, but hadn’t realized it was Abby until he had returned to the bed and she was on the floor. This seemed to worry the happy retriever. He paced slightly on the edge of the bed, not entirely noticing her stalking up until it was too late. A wave of familiar smelling fur pounced up at him, knocking him down. His tail started to wag once more once he realized it was the other dog. He quickly pulled himself up, moving a foot or so away from Abby and turning to face her again, tongue hanging out of his mouth.
“T’Aimnu, I’m sorry.” Spock apologized as the oversized lap dog gave him a pitiful look. It was more than she’d typically get out of him, but he was getting a lot more out of her than usual. He gave her head one last soft pat before she hopped off. The Vulcan immediately took the chance to stand up, looking over at the thud and Abby on the floor. “Jim!” His voice was a bit more strained than usual, more aggravated than usual. The Captain was hard enough to deal with sometimes as a human, this was much worse. He watched the two dogs for a moment longer before deciding he needed to take direct action. He gave one last glance to T’Aimnu, leaning down slightly to give one ear a soft rub before returning his attention to the retrievers. “Jim, Abby!” The aggregation almost turned to relief when he looked up to see a human Jim a foot or so from Abby.
The First Officer quickly gathered Jim’s previous clothes and handed them to him. He still seemed fairly hesitant of Abby, not entirely trusting her in this form. However, another one of them back to their senses was a good sign. Once Jim realized what had happened, thanked Spock for the clothes and took them, the Vulcan walked back over to his chair. He sat down, eyes on T’Aimnu, then gave a light pat on his lap as a motion that she could jump up if she wanted.

Ughhhh... Don't even get me started. I lost all 12 fish, fry included in the big tank. I got 3 platy, 2 female, 1 male. Did fine until they went into the big tank. Some how the lowly scaredy cat male is doing ok and is a bit roughed up and the only one to live out of the group 🤦♀️. Not sure what is going on, I can piece the story together, if you want the full thing. In the 5.5G, I've got 2 female gupps, one male, 1 F endler, 1 M platy. I'm pretty sure 2 of 3 females are preggers. So far, of the danios, 72 hours later, all are still living in the big tank. There's 4 of them.
You've got my reaction down to a T.
Thanks for letting me know, I hope you get your vision back and all will be well with that.Ugh... School. Don't even get me started on that either. I don't want to think about with how their doing classes with COVID.)
The moment Spock yelled at her, Abby's ears shot back and her eyes twitched in annoyance. She was happy in her own world, flirt playing with James and then Spock just had to break up her fun. She hadn't yet realized that James was back to normal. She glared at Spock and stalked out of sight. Her eyes on the ground, somehow making off with one of Kirk's shirts that smelt like him. She hid out of sight from Spock and made a sort of nest out of James' shirt. It took her a few second of laying down to ogle James at he went to change. After a few moments, she tired and somehow hid her muzzle and eyes from view to pout and close her eyes.
T'Aimnu lifted her head to watch where Spock went. She stood and then sat on Spock's feet. However that only lasted a few moments before she decided to take Spock up on his offer. She leapt up to Spock's lap. T'Aimnu did the exact same routine as last time to settle in the exact same position and spot. She even tucked her muzzle inbetween his upper thigh and the side of his seat.

(Oh hell, that’s awful. At least one made it I guess even if he is messed up, but that’s still sad for the rest. Hopefully the new fish will do okay. The danios still going? It’s been like a day or so I guess since. How long are you planning on keeping just those four in there before moving the others in, if things go well?
My vision seems all good, I think it’s been about a week since, at this point I have no serious concept of time. My classes are gonna be such a mix it’s ridiculous. There’s no leadership, at least not here. The leadership attempted to sue over regulations, so that ain’t leadership to me. I think I have one online course for certain? The other 4 I’m not sure about. I feel like whatever happens is gonna be rough in some aspect.)
After Jim got situated, he took a moment to remember the situation. In a sense, he wished he was still a dog. It was easier to not feel responsible for the situation that way, but right now, he was responsible. He kept looking over at Spock, halfway expecting the other individual to become a dog again. However, that didn’t happen, at least not for the minutes that James sat where he had once stood as a retriever. He glanced around his room, noticing the slight messes and wondering if it had been him or Abby that had caused them. He decided against cleaning now. There was still a possibility they would all be dogs, why clean now? He looked over at Abby, unfortunately still a dog, as she rested in her new nest. He smiled a little, then relaxed a little as things were quiet for the moment.
Spock let the dog shift in his lap, holding his arms up slightly as to not get in the way too much of her making him into a chair. Once T’Aimnu had settled, he put his arms down, one hand petting her side softly. He examined the position, wondering how she had managed to stretch herself out like that. He also wondered how that could be comfortable. From the lack of barking, he decided Jim hadn’t turned back into a dog. He didn’t bother to look up at the Abby and Jim, finally giving T’Aimnu his undivided attention.

( It is, we only found about four bodies of the fry, not what happened to the other 4 fry. So seeing as how I've figured that the rest of the fish are sticking around, I'm starting to figure out names, I've only got 1 for sure named. Mr. Monk, which is the scaredy cat male platy, if you've ever seen the TV show called Monk he really reminds of the main character, Adrian Monk. Monk's scales aren't quite as colorful and more noticable after the tank disaster, if you get what I'm saying. They're doing fine, the little buggers. Active as ever. And fatter too. I'm pretty sure that at least 3of the 4 are female and carrying roe, since they're fatter than a ballon and I don't think it is dropsy. It's hard to tell since the darn fish don't stay in one position for more than a millisecond. Providing everything goes well, I'm thinking a week or so from now. For a total of two weeks. Best as we can figure, we think something chemical got into the water possibly.
Ugh. I feel for you, it was either take two classes in person or three all online with labs. I'm sorry stupidity is in a leadership position at your school. )
T'Aimnu could feel Spock's glaze on her fur. Her tail wagged twice ever so slowly to signal her contentment. She closed her eyes, deciding that now was a good time to take a nap. She didn't move at all, her muzzle hidded by Spock and the side of the chair.
(You ready to have the girls turn back, or are you dying to do something else in this form?)
"McCoy to Spock, or Kirk. Actually any humanoid in the room." Both comns in the room crackled, breaking the silence which had descended into the room. "I think I have something of a update, but I need to to test it out on someone. Spock is Kirk human, or am I just talking to a room full of dogs? McCoy sighed. He sounded pretty unsettled, moody, anxious and grumpy. Like the man had the wait of the world on his shoulders it was his alone to bare. "If I don't get a reply from someone, I'm going to quit talking like a fool."
Abby hardly moved the entire time Jim was getting himself situated and somewhat human. She pouting, somewhere along the line she had registered James as a possible mate.

(I grew up watching Monk, that’s a good name lmao. Sounds like it fits. That’s great news that the others are doing well! Hopefully you’ll have more on the way then. Oof yeah they certainly don’t stick around for close inspections or anything. Some chemicals would make sense, that will mess up a tank full in a heartbeat. Well you’re halfway through and it sounds like things may finally be leveling out a bit. Hopefully things will continue that way.
Oh jeez yeah I thankfully didn’t have any lab requirements this year. That’s gonna be a pain to do online, wonder how they’ll pull that off. I’m signed up for one course that’s almost like a field trip class around campus, it’s only like a one hour credit but it was supposed to be the fun class. No idea how we’ll do that.
I can’t really think of anything in this form, so I guess we could turn them back.)
“Kirk here.” Jim sounded a little surprised when he heard the coms come to life. He wasn’t entirely with it just yet, but it was coming back to him. If McCoy was calling, hopefully that was good news. An update was good news, but the other man didn’t sound certain. “Spock and I are currently back to normal.”
“T’Aimnu and Abby are still in a canine state. They have not gone through the same transitions that Jim and I have gone through.” Spock added this information, believing it may be of some use. He still pet T’Aimnu as he spoke, but his eyes went up to Jim and Abby.
“We can come to Medbay, or you could meet us here. We’re still in my quarters.” Kirk offered, unsure if Bones needed to test one of them or the girls. He wasn’t entirely sure how easy it would be to herd two, or more, dogs down to meet him. However, it may be easier to be tested there. He watched Abby for a while, then glanced over at the dog laying in Spock’s lap. Regardless of where they were going to meet, he was going to make sure he could get the women back to normal. “Is Cameron still with you?” The last thing they needed was a loose dog, but they would figure that out if they needed to.
Cam had spent most of her time away from the other dogs asleep. Once she had fixed her dog bed, she had fallen into a heavy sleep and remained there.

{Well everyone is doing well. Monk and the rest of the gups are about to be thrown into the big tank. I rescued 3 male guppies who have been in the big tank since Friday. And Saturday I bought some freaking expensive corys and gupps, who are totally worth it and two more female gups. I also got a beautiful Amazon sword. }
McCoy let out a sigh of relief. "It might be easier for you all to come down to med bay." Bones looked down at Cam, his voice was fairly quiet. "Cam's here. Asleep. I'm pretty sure she's been sleeping most of the time." He sighed, looking around. Not that the rest of the group would be able to see it. "I want to explain face to face what needs to be done. Besides I think one Guinea pig to show you should be fine. How long till you can get down here? I'm not sure why I have planned is smartest, but it would be the best for the girls. Make them more comfortable."

(That’s good that they’re finally about to get some extra room. The new ones still doing alright? Is Amazon Sword a plant? I had to look it up smh. If so, it looks really nice and it’ll probably be good for any fry.)
“Alright. We’ll make our way down there.” Jim looked between the two dogs, wondering how difficult it would be to get them to medbay. “Good to hear.” At least the dogs were all peaceful and accounted for, for now at least. “If things go well, and Spock and I don’t turn into dogs too, it shouldn’t take too long. Shouldn’t be any longer than it usually takes, especially if we hurry.” He glanced over at Spock, as if to queue him to get going. If they moved fast enough, maybe they would reduce their chances of losing someone of the way. James could tell Bones was uncertain about his plan. “I trust you Bones, we’ll see you in Medbay.” They didn’t have much of an option but to trust McCoy. Regardless, he was certain of the other man’s medical abilities.
Spock was less certain of their situation. McCoy sounded like he was going more on hope than definite scientific fact. He did want T’Aimnu to be comfortable, but he also wanted her to return to a Vulcan state. He watched the resting, oversized lap dog before gently trying to get her attention again. “We will be returning to Medbay, T’Aimnu.” He spoke softly so it wouldn’t interrupt the other two men, informing the dog in case she hadn’t been listening.

(Whelp. Sorry for my disappearance again. Lots of doctor appointments for me and my dog. I lost my gorgeous cobra green guppy. Woke up one morning, wasn't doing well and by the time I got back from doing errands, he was gone by 2pm. I'm not sure if I told you, but I rescued three male guppies. They're all doing fine in the big tank downstairs except for one I think is dealing with fin rot not fun. Mr. Monk and his gang is doing fine in the big tank(but I haven't seen Monk since this morning, making me nervous). I put them down there on Monday. I'm not sure if. I told you, but the same day I got my sword, I got two female guppies and 4 bandit corys. One of the female dropped some fry on Monday, surprised the heck out of me. As far as I know, she had six fry and I could only save 5. My sword plant is looking terrible with almost transparent leaves. I also got two other plants in there.)
Bones hrumped. He didn't really feel like he deserved Jim's vote of confidence at this point in time. As time would tell what was going to go happen. "Thanks Jim. See you in a mo. The sooner the better. McCoy out." The man huffed once more before flip his comn closed and looked down at Cam. Bones stood, stretched and then sat down next to Cam. "Cameron, sweetheart, I need you to get up. Gotta try and get you back to your normal stubborn human self." Bone stated softly, petting the dog's head.
T'Aimnu lifted her head and bleary blink at Spock. It was obvious that Spock had woken T'Aimnu who had been half asleep. She pulled back her ears back, giving Spock a silent earful about waking her up. She blinked and looked around for a moment. T'Aimnu sighed, kneading her paws into the chair and Spock's waist. After her stretch, T'Aimnu took her time getting up and jumped on to the floor. She made her way to the door. T'Aimnu turned and looked at Spock blankly. She was waiting for him to get going.

(Sorry that took like two weeks... I think things are a bit more leveled out for now. How is Mr. Monk and the gang doing now? What are the plants doing?)
“See you, Bones.” Once the call ended, Kirk turned his full attention to their situation. They’d have to round the two girls up and out, then make it to Medbay before they all were dogs.
Spock listened in on the conversation as he waited on T’Aimnu’s response. He had briefly glanced over at Jim, curious to see the other male’s response to their situation, before the oversized lap dog had decided to move. He could tell she hadn’t appreciated being woken up, but if it meant getting her back to normal, she would appreciate it later on. Spock stood up from the chair, giving T’Aimnu a light pat on the head once he had. “Thank you, T’Aimnu.”
“Alright, lets get down to Sickbay. Abby, you ready to get back to normal?” He asked, looking over at her before briefly glancing at Spock. “You ready?” He asked, receiving a nod as the Vulcan walked towards the door. He hoped the other individual in their normal form would be able to control the other dog. He returned his attention back to Abby, knowing he needed to keep his attention on her.
Cam lazily opened her eyes at the familiar voice. She shifted slightly to look at him for a moment, before giving out a small huff, clearly wanting to nap longer. However, she moved to sit up some, the idea of being human again holding some interest from her.

(No worries!
Ugh... so I had another massive die off. Here's my list before the 2nd die off
x7 guppies(including female endler) 4x guppy fry x4 Bandit cory x4 Danios x1 Platy
After it
x2 Guppies x1 platy x1.5 danios x4 Bandit Corys
I finally was able to cut back all thhe old leaves on my sword. It's absolutely tiny, but looking good, the other two plants are just kind of... hanging on. They visible aren't doing much, but they aren't dieing off. I bought about 30 bucks worth of plants online. Which aren't so hot. Not sure they'll make it. They looked really good when I opened their box.
But on the bright side of things, my parents and I managed a overnight trip to Seattle. Which was nice, but really sad due to the amount of smoke there was. And I also bought some fish and plants from two very nice stores over there!)
T'Aimnu grudgingly butted Spock in the butt, as payment for waking her up, enough to knock the Vulcan slightly off balance if he wasn't paying attention to his balance. And to get going to wherever they were going quicker. She not in a mood to play around.
Abby lifted her head once more to look at James. She lifted her ears, yawned and then down right whined at James like she she didn't want to leave. She finally had gotten herself comfortable enough to consider that napping was an actual proper thing to do. Now James was asking her to leave. She actually had to fight James a little bit on this one as she was slightly ticked off.
"Come on Darling. I can see that interest in you. Come on, I know you want to be human again. For that to happen, you can't nap. You can nap some other time at your own convenience." McCoy stretched out his back. He really had be hunched over a lot as he was sort of working himself to death.

(Hey I’m so sorry (once again, but this time it’s under like three months yippie) about getting gone. Had a covid scare with my roommate, had a covid scare from me getting the common cold and my dad convincing me it was something serious, my cousin had a covid scare from her roommate and I had to take her home, and currently we are on another covid scare which is actually my mom got sick off of her new meds and didn’t tell anyone but my aunt that she was switching meds so I came home stressed from it. Also midterms which this year were surprising all open notes so I’m not mad??? So that’s not really why I was gone so long. My cousin (covid scare one) is also kind of stressing me out because she’s a freshman and her idea of a social outting during covid is appearing at my door and eating my food since she hasn’t made friends yet. So I’m frequently entertaining her or trying to go find her because she’s left her dorm and not texting her mom. Just a lot of little things but I’m hoping things will calm down soon so that I’ll be more active again. I’m gonna try and respond in the morning, but I just wanted to let you know that I’m still alive and such lmao. How are you though?)

(Sorry again.
How are the fish/plants now? It’s been a bit, have things stabilized? Are there wildfires still going on over there? I haven’t seen much on the news but everything here is tropical storms and covid right now so I’m definitely missing stuff.)
Spock stumbled forward ever so slightly, shooting T’Aimnu an almost petty look. Well, at least she was ready to get going. The barely noticeable look disappeared and he walked close enough to the entrance to the quarters that the door opened. He glanced out into the open passageway, examining the area for any distractions that could slow them down. Thankfully, there was nothing as of yet. Time was of the essence, and moving two dogs quickly would be difficult if there were reasons to stop. However, when Spock looked back inside the quarters, he realized Abby didn’t seem nearly as ready to go as the other dog.
“Abby, come on. You can sleep after this, I promise.” Jim insisted, seeing the lack of interest in Abby. She definitely seemed the furthest gone out of any of the infected. Maybe a promise of rest would work better than one of a change back to normal. “I’m sure Bones will want you to rest after all of this.” He added, smiling a little at her before taking a step backwards to the door. “I’m going to medbay, I can leave you here if you’d prefer to be alone. Spock and T’Aimnu are coming with me, and Bones and Cam will be there.” It was a long shot, but a sleepy Abby may be attached enough to follow him. Of course, he wouldn’t actually leave her, especially since that would defeat the purpose of him going. Hopefully she wouldn’t think about that.
Cam hesitantly sat all the way up, giving out another annoyed huff once she had. A yawn came shortly after, but the promise of going back to normal and another nap kept her up. She noticed how exhausted McCoy was and gave a concerned sounding whine, sniffing at him softly.

(Eh, no worries.
Starting to grow. I've bought some new fish, plants. I lost a guppy from Callamanus worms. This week is the last week for treatment.
Current stocking x2 Adult guppies(6 fry about a month old I think seems older than that) x6 Zebra Danios x9 Adolof Corys x2 Bronze x3 platys
Cali fires are still going on. Wildfire season is more or less over here. You're really not missing much. I mean our health officer just listened to the calls for him to resign. So you know the flame is just getting started.)
T'Aimnu huffed at Spock's look as she trotted out the door. She almost felt like repeating her motion would do Spock even more justice. She flopped her head back and forth a couple of times. T'Aimnu started to sniff around, but she kept a wide berth around James and Abby. She did not want any more trouble or fighting than what had already occurred. In human form, they often sparred, with the winner either one almost half the time. But seeing as how Abby had more fight at the moment, she didn't need anymore dirt being flung around.
Abby continued to nearly glare at Jim for a few moments. She let out a long drawn out groaned that almost sounded like a dying animal to sound out her displeasure at moving. She heaved another long drawn out groan as the dog stood and very slowly padded her to Jim. Abigail took her time getting to Jim, but did a 180 attitude wise and gave Jim a small nip on his butt. Just enough to sting for a moment and shock him, but not do damage. The dog quicken her pace for a few seconds out in the corridor, just long enough to put some space between her and Jim. From there she slowed down and started to sniff around, and maybe enough to mark her territory a bit.
McCoy sighed and closed his eyes for a moment, but only until he felt Cam sniffing at him. He sighed again and looked down at her, petting her head. "Sweetheart, don't worry about me. We'll get you back to your old self soon enough. I promise. And everyone else. Just remind me not to punch our dear old captain in the head for getting us into this again. Or slap him for that matter." He looked down at that dog, feeling like Cam was giving a slightly judgy concerned look. "I'll rest as soon as this is over. I promise."

(That’s great that things are starting to grow. Looks like you’ve got a decent amount, especially with the fry. Glad to hear it’s leveling out some.
I ended up looking up recent wildfires and read a little about the high winds spreading it too? That’s insane. At least y’all are in the clear right now. Dangg that’s crazy that people are that fed up they’re demanding him to step down. I don’t know much about our health officer, but I assume they are busy licking the bottom of the Quik trip restroom counters.
Also Abby’s reaction made me laugh a little, the absolute pettiness being thrown around right now lmao.)
Spock took a few steps out into the hall, conscious of T’Aimnu, but more aware of Jim and Abby’s location. Like T’Aimnu, he didn’t want to be the reason for any fight or reactions which would further delay them. Typically, he wouldn’t be as hesitant to be near the other Vulcan, but in the moment, she was irritated enough for him to avoid. The Vulcan did stay closer to her than to the others, however. When he glanced back at them, he caught the tail end of Abigail catching Jim’s tail end. He raised an eyebrow, watching the dog scoot on ahead and away from any possible reactions. “Ready?” Spock asked Kirk after a moment, but instead watching Abigail. He decided that if necessary, he’d step in between the two women as to avoid another fight. Both were tired and seemed currently to be easily agitated.
Jim waited, wondering if his fib would work. He took a step away from her, trying to make her believe him. When he heard the noise escape from her, a more natural smile crossed his face. He relaxed a little, believing that his idea had worked, and finding Abby’s show amusing. “Thanks Abby.” He watched her take her sweet time, glad she was moving at all. Kirk briefly looked over at the other two as they exited the quarters, moving after them, assuming Abby was behind him. He hadn’t been expecting the nip, and whipped around to see the dog hurry away. The Captain stood there for a moment, fairly shocked by Abigail’s action. He finally decided to drop it, knowing the sooner things were back to normal the less likely anyone would be to lose a finger. “Let’s go.” He muttered, grimacing slightly, more from betrayal than pain. He followed after Abby, heading through the corridor in the direction of medbay.
The return of Bones’ attention seemed to calm some of Cameron’s concern, but not all of it. At the mention of the Captain, her tag flipped up a little. There was enough of her left in there to want to give Kirk an earful herself. She would have appreciated Abby’s nip, if she had seen it. If she wasn’t turned back, she’d probably do the same to him. Her concern grew again at his promise, not believing him. Her ears flattened a little and she gave him a much more judgmental look.
