Rook didn't think he would ever get use to flying. Rook craned his head to looked over his shoulder. It was so calm up here, the only sound was the whooshing of his friends wings. Rook wished he had wings, he would get to places so much faster and it seemed much safer up here. Rook glanced over to Arkale. His ears flicked as he thought. "What ever it is, i bet its very fast and smart." He yelled over the wind.

Phoenix listened carefully. “They we will have to work together. And carefully. We may have size and strength on our side, but we could easily be tricked and held off that way. But if we attack as a group there’s less chance of that happening.” He told the group.

Phoenix looked down at Rook before smiling sympathetically, "it'll be alright." He told him, "you won't be hurt I will make sure of it. Who knows, maybe you'll even be the one to show that beast who's boss in the end." He said with a small rumble.

“Of course I don’t know fully what we’re going up against, so it’s mainly Amatsu’s call for now on what we should be planning for.” Phoenix pointed out, “I’m sure we’ll be alright though.” He said, trying to sound optimistic.

Phoenix let out a small laugh, “yeah maybe.” He said, “ it I think the concept is that we have to actually kill this beast in order to get the tail back correct?” He then let out a small rumble at the thing Rook said about fighting, “well, if you’d like I could show you a few moves when we have the time. That way you’ll at least be able to defend yourself properly.”

“And you?” Phoenix asked Amatsu, “we may know how to fight but I’m sure you do as well, maybe you could give Rook a few pointers on how a smaller creature should handle themselves in battle.” He suggested. “And what will you plan to do after you get your tail back? Will you stick around and pull your weight or will you be off on your own again?”

“You don’t have to repay us Amatsu.” Arkale replied as they continued towards their destination. “If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of powers will you have once it’s restored?” He asked. He liked learning about the powers other creatures had.

Amatsu sighed dramatically "No no, a lady always repays her debts." When asked about her powers, she said "Well, I would be able to shapeshift, teleport, fly and possess others, but possession depends on the will and capacity of the target. If you tried hard enough, you could break free. I'd also gain limited invulnerability. I'd only just recent gotten my ninth tail though, as I'm barely past one thousand years of age, so there's still plenty for me to learn."
