Rook thought for a long second, he wasn't sure what to say. He had lost them a very long time ago, when he was very young. He was sure he would remember them when he saw them or they would remember him when they saw him. Rooks stomach suddenly growled. He hadn't realized how hungry he was. "Im sure they are around here some where." He lied. He looked over to Phoenix. "We should invite Arkale for breakfast." Rook glanced up at the sky. "Or Brunch?" Rook wasn't sure what time it was. The thick clouds that hung over this forest blocked out the position of the sun.

Phoenix thought for a moment. He couldn’t say no to Rook already, and this dragon seemed friendly and trustworthy enough. “Fine.” He said, “but I can’t carry all this back on my own. Especially if I have to carry you as well.” He said to the other two dragons. The last thing he wanted was to drop one of them.

Arkale frowned a bit, thinking Rook might be lying or at least concealing something. He then looked back to Phoenix as he spoke and he nodded slowly. “I can help carry my prey and something at least. If the spot you’re thinking of isn’t too far away I can always make two trips.” He said.

Phoenix shook his head; “no it isn’t too far.” He said. “Though the cave we are going back to is only built for one big dragon. There’s no way the three of us will fit comfortable.” He warned.

“I’ll be fine outside, at least for a while. Don’t worry about me.” He replied, getting to his paws and gathering up the prey he had.

Phoenix nodded, “but if you decide to spend the night with us we will have to find somewhere else to rest.” He said before gently scooping the deer up in his mouth, his mouth watering at the taste. Like before he pumped his wings until he was just uphovering in the air. He then flew over and scooped Rook up before looking to Arkale.

Arkale got to his paws and watched as Phoenix grabbed Rook. Arkale got his prey in his mouth and paws and managed to grab what Phoenix left, being a little bit bigger than Phoenix helped a bit, and he soon took off after Phoenix after pumping his wings a couple times and managing to lift off of the ground.

Rook tried his best to keep still as Phoenix took off with him. He really didnt want to be dropped. Rooks mind began to wonder as they flew. He hadn't really realized how long ago it had been since he lost his family. It was hopeless now to try to find them, it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. There could be many herds of his kind and trying to find his family could be hopeless. Nearly impossible. Rooks ears flicked back.

Phoenix sensed Rook’s sadness, but didn’t say anything due to holding a deer in his mouth. He eventually spotted the cave and dove down towards the ground gracefully, dropping Rook a few feet from the ground before landing himself. He then walked over to the cave and placed the deer inside. He grunted, wanting so bad to just dog in righ then and there.

Arkale followed close behind his new acquaintances, making sure he didn’t fall too far behind and think he was trying to make off with their prey. Once they arrived at the caves Alekar landed nearly outside, moving the prey Phoenix had caught back to him at the cave entry.

Once they arrived at the caves Alekar landed nearly outside, moving the prey Phoenix had caught back to him at the cave entry. Phoenix sat back reluctantly, “you may both eat first.” He said softly, “we should save one of these deer for later though so we don’t have to go back out hunting.” He advised. He then yawned and moved back towards the back of the tiny cave to curl up and wait for his turn.

(Okay so what's happening? Where is everyone?) Well from the beginning Rook and Phoenix met the day before this in the woods by Phoenix’s cage. Phoenix offered to help Rook by giving him food and place to rest. They also agreed that they would try to find a new place to live and travel together to do so. So now today Phoenix and Rook when out hunting not too far away. They came upon a herd of deer. Little did they know that Arkale was also there. So when Arkale ran out to run the deer down there was a huge surprise. So then Phoenix kept into action and got a few deer himself. Phoenix, Rook, and Arkale then had a small face off before deciding everyone was chill. Now they’re going back to Phoenix’s den to eat. Make sense?

(Okay)
As the dragons settled down to eat, something watched from the nearby bushes in the snow. A tiny black nose poked out from the bush, snow plopping onto the white muzzle. Sniffing the air, the bush further revealed a fox, the snow-white head peeping out and looking over at the creatures sharing their spoils. The option to either steal or scavenge came up, but the fox wasn't in the mood to make anyone mad that day. Too much of a hassle. So, she stayed where she was for now, just her head peeping from the bush.

Phoenix relaxed, closing his eyes. He opened them only when he suddenly scented another creature. He let out a low growl as he looked out at the woods past his two new friends. “We aren’t alone.” He said in a low voice.

"There's plenty here, even if we save one or two. You can have one of mine to save for later." He offered as he started to eat. Just then Phoenix said they weren't alone and Arkale leaned up and looked in the direction Phoenix and sniffed the air. "You're right..." He said, growling softly.

The fox blinked in confusion. Did they not see her? Well, she basically blended into the snow, only two small eyes and two orange dots like "eyebrows", but at first glance you'd surely miss her. Snorting, her whiskers twitched while she just sat there as she waited to see how long she would go unnoticed. Probably not too long since they smelled her already. Dragons were such silly creatures, according to her family. Like big, somewhat tolerable brutes. If you were going to be gigantic, at least do it properly, though when her father said that she never actually understood what he meant.

Rook had began eating when he felt like he was being watched. He lifted his head and scanned the forest around them. He opened his mouth to speak when Phoenix spoke. Rook sniffed the chilly air, he could smell what ever it was. It didnt smell like another dragon, it smelt warm and fluffy. Like a rabbit of sorts. That's when he spotted it, a fox. Rooks pupils narrowed as he made eye contact with the small creature. A small hiss escaping his muzzle. Rook never personally liked foxes. They were sly and ussally stole his food.

Phoenix looked towards where Rook was looking. He then spotted the fox. “Stay here.” He warned the other two dragons. He carefully maneuvered himself out of the cave. Then, without a warning he leapt into action. His goal was to chase the fox off rather than fight with it, so he just charged.

The fox looked like she couldn't care less, actually yawning as this huge creature charged. "Oh, poor me." More like poor them, feeling bothered by some small thing like her. "And here I was, thinking I'd be nice today and ask to share some of that food." Ugh, if she wasn't injured, this would hardly be a problem for her. Alas, she had been foolish enough to let herself be injured.

Phoenix noticed the fox’s mocking tone and posture. He simply turned his charge into an actual attack. When he was close enough he pounced, grabbing the fox with his two large forepaws, holding her down in a strong pin. “You could always be lunch.” He growled. “It’s hilarious you think I would let someone spying on us eat a meal with us just because.” He sneered. It was true. Rook and Arkale had ran into him by chance. They didn’t mean to get too close, but this fox deliberately was.

"Look, buddy, I don't really have time to deal with paranoid brutes. Now, remove your stinky paws before I actually bother to deal with you." Only half of her little body was sticking out of the bush, but with a simple twitch, her tail poked out. Well, eight tails. She was supposed to have nine, but she could pass eight off as being young despite having white fur. Hopefully. "You'd think a guy would know how to treat a lady, but you're a dragon, so I shouldn't give you too much credit."

“I treat both male and females the same when they’re trespassing on my land and spying.” Phoenix hissed. He really wished Rook or Arkale would help him out here. “Keep in mind I could still eat you if I wanted.” He growled, baring his sharp teeth. He wasn’t bluffing either. He could eat a whole herd of deer right now he was so hungry. It wasn’t like Phoenix was some small cute little dragon either, in fact he was quite large and looked very menacing. Phoenix leaned a little bit more of his weight on the fox just in case she tried anything.

"You must not be aware of these right here then." Her eight tails twitched. "Put me in your mouth and I'll expand in your stomach and tear you apart from the inside out." She yawned again. "But a lady does not kill others for no reason. Even big, annoying brutes like you. Now, do you want to test me, or do you want to take your stinky paws off of me? It's rude to manhandle a lady."

By this time Arkale had had enough. He could already tell this fox wasn’t normal. He picked up the smaller deer that he’d caught and he quickly flew over and landed in front of Phoenix. “Phoenix let her go. That’s not how you should treat anyone. Look, if you need something to eat, take this.” He said, laying the deer down. “Don’t cause any more trouble, Phoenix.” Arkale pleaded.
