Phoenix looked up to Arkale, wanting to protest. He then grunted and got off her, turning away and allowing his tail to gently hit her with enough force to push her back into the snow if she got up. “She was spying, Arkale. Are you really going to reward her for that?” He said softly to the other dragon.

“Says the dragon who was ready to attack me after a simple misunderstanding.” Arkale retorted. “I don’t want it to be seen as a reward. I want it more to be seen as a peace offering. This vixen is not a normal fox. She’s a lot more powerful than you think.” He replied.

"He recognized that I'm not looking for trouble." She sat in front of the deer, her eight tails swishing gently. However, she had a small wound on her hindquarters, perhaps where another tail should be. She then smiled knowingly at Arkale. "Smart and kind."

Arkale sighed in relief as the vixen seemed to calm down and his tail twitched as she smiled at him. “You flatter me, ....” he paused, as if asking her name.

“I brought you here it’s not like you rewarded me with anything. This is my home. It was different when we were on neutral grounds. And of course I was on edge then I had Rook to protect as well.” Phoenix shot back. He was both on edge and just hangry at the same time. Phoenix sighed softly, “fine. Whatever you say boss. Give her the meal and let us trust her.” He grumbled, “but if she doesn’t anything bad it’s not my fault.” He turned to go back to the den, “you both trust to easily.” Though look at him, now having a little posey in his territory within the span of a little more than a day.

“And I thank you for that, Phoenix.” Arkale replied calmly, trying to escalate the situation. “And if anything happens, it’ll be on my head. I understand that.” He replied with a single lash of his tail. “Now go eat your meal. You’re getting more irritable.” He said with a soft chuckle.

The fox flicked an ear as she said "...Amatsu. I am Amatsu." She then yawned again, scratching behind her ear with a hindleg before saying "Your friend is very rude. I guess that is why he is alone." She sat down, whiskers twitching. She made sure Mr. Bully was out of earshot before whispering to Arkale "I can't actually use any of my powers right now, don't tell Mr. Grumpy." Someone took one of her tails, and doing that to one of her kind, under the correct circumstances, took their powers away. So she was basically bluffing before.

Phoenix just let out a rumble in response to Arkale as he went to join Rook again, curling up as he crouched down to begin eating his fill. He still listened in on what the two were saying though.

“He’s just hungry and had a bad day. It can happen to anyone. And he’s not alone. There’s another small dragon with him in the cave there.” He replied softly. “And it’s nice to meet you, Amatsu. I’m Arkale.” He replied. “And yes, I could tell you couldn’t use any powers. It’s your tail, right?” He whispered, knowing she wanted privacy for this conversation. “I met one of your kind a long time ago, that’s how I knew. But there’s no benefit in telling anyone else that, is there?” He said, winking at her. “I just wish there was something I could do to help...”

"Sweety, I mean alone without "company." Romantic company." Dragons were smelly and dirty though, so it was understandable. "There is someone for everyone though, even your friend." Not that he would find them anytime soon with that attitude, no sir. Amatsu then nodded once. "I would need to get my tail back. It was eaten by another creature. If it were to die, I would get my tail back." It wasn't some big, evil being either. Just a smart one who knew the circumstance of when and how to take the tail. "It is hardly your concern though. I would ask my family, but they'd think I was silly for losing it. And a lady shouldn't be doing anything that would get her laughed at!" She straightened up at this, trying to look presentable. Her stomach then growled, and she huffed before leaning down to start eating. "I've been like this for a year or so."

((Aw I’m sorry! It’s totally fine you don’t need to apologize for that. Hopefully you’re feeling better. Not much has happened since you last were on. Just after they spotted the fox, who’s named Amatsu was spotted Phoenix went after her and pinned her. They got into a small argument. Not Arkale is talking to Amatsu while Phoenix went back to the den to eat with Rook. Also Amatsu lost a tail and no longer has powers until she gets that tail back.

Rook padded over to Phoenix and flopped down next to him. Rook had fallen asleep while the others argued and now he had no idea what was happening. He yawned. "What happened?" He asked Phoenix softly. Rook was a rather heavy sleeper, with a full stomach not even a thunder storm could wake him.

Phoenix huffed, “this fox just decided to waltz right on over here and expected to get herself a free meal. I wasn’t having it but Arkale gave her some of his kill.” He explained, “I don’t know why he’s trusting her so easily honestly.” He looked good Rook, “she did technically trespass past my markings.” He pointed out, “and it’s not like she isn’t some dumb animal. I’m pretty sure she knew what she was doing.”

Rook looked over to Amatsu. Foxes were usually seen as sly creatures. He had been tricked more than once by them. "Maybe after shes done with her meal she'll head off and go steal other dragons meals." Rook said softly. Rook smiled. "I think Arkale may have a soft spot for small fluffy creatures." He joked softly. He didnt mean anything mean by that statement, Rook was just trying to break the tension.

Phoenix snorted with laughter. “And what do you imply that means?” He joked, rolling lazily onto his back. He did feel a lot better after eating, but he was still on edge regardless because of this fox.

Rook smiled. "Well we may have a new fox companion for a while." Rook chuckled. Rook rested his head on his paws and glanced over to Phoenix. "You know I have meet many big dragons that like small fuzzy things." He said softly. "This one time I stumbled upon this huge dragon, I believe his name was Char. He loved cats of all things." Rook chuckled and rolled onto his back. "Do you like cats?"

Phoenix grunted softly at this, “maybe.” He said, he then went back into his stomach. “But don’t worry. If that fox tries anything I’ve got your tail alright?” He said softly. The tone was different for him, but it was a good different. He was going to protect those he trusted from creatures who thought they could get whatever they wanted and go wherever they wanted.

Amatsu smiled at this before finishing her meal, and climbing up on Arkale's back so they could go over to the others. Once she got her tail back she could have proper freedom again, and perhaps go home. She looked over at the other dragons as they walked over, whiskers twitching as she doubted they would want to help.

Amatsu had literally just zoned out, blinking when she realized no one was talking after a moment. "Ah, right." Her eight tails swished a few times as she said "Someone took one of my tails, so I can't do squat right now. Not too keen on spending the rest of my life like this, a year is long enough. I was hoping I could find some help." She half expected the other two dragons to say no though, not that she necessarily cared. Even one of the grown dragons could probably kill this other creature.

Phoenix yawned as she spoke. He then narrowed his eyes a little as he studied the pair. “Fine.” He decided, “we needed a new living space anyways. Maybe we’lol find one on our way.” He then Moses the deer forward to the two and Rook before looking away, “let’s not waste any of this though, and it won’t be good to begin the trip on an empty stomach.”
