Tse-Tse watched them go before turning to leave in her own direction, deciding to indulge her friend in his training too. Llum just angled his ears, listening around and focusing on subtle or abnormal sounds. Eventually he decided to get going, just deciding to go after someone at random since it wasn't anything serious. Despite having zero eyesight, he expertly navigated his way around, never tripping or stumbling. He might've pahsed a few times but that was it.
Nodding in agreement, she said "It's good that you can be on your own though, but sometimes it's nice to have someone special around." But that was something completely different than being completely reliant on someone to the point where it potentially hindered you.
Alma thanked Roman for the help, smiling happily at him. Already could she hear the murmurs and curious whispers of those around them. Aside from the guards of course. She looked around at the townsfolk, smiling gently at their bright and friendly expressions. They were happy to see their king and queen, and it always managed to reassure her when needed.

(( Smokey Feather I am so sorry I forgot about this and the other chat. I will respond ASAP! Hakan had opted for staying in the trees for this exercise. He quickly jumped from one large branch to the next. That way his scent would at least not be on the ground and wouldn’t as easy to sniff out. He moved relatively fast, only taking a break once or twice to look out for any sign of Llum. Meanwhile, Makya had gone straight to the river, he simply stripped himself down before diving in, using the current to swim quickly down one direction. This way all of his scent would be left with his previous belongings. The rest would likely be lost in the water. About a mile or so down he finally got out for the first portion, taking mud and just covering his hands and feet for now. Uma sniffed before saying, “men can be insufferable sometimes. A proper lady such as myself should know the dangers of some men and stop before they get hooked. I learned that the hard way.” She decided to open up even more as she turned to the woman with a gossip look on her face, she crossed her legs as she put a hand on her arm, “Hey this. My last crush almost choked me to death. I certainly learned my lesson to keep my boundaries up and standards higher than the Gods after that!” Roman smiled softly as he waved to the crowd a little, saying a hello to a few people as well. He then leaned over to his wife saying very softly, “I’ll never get used to feeling like fish in a fish bowl..." He was joking of course.. well sort of. |

Llum's ears would occasionally flick or angle around, listening for them. If he got close enough to them, whenever that would be, he would be able to hear them breathing. He heard movement up high somewhere, his ears angling that way before he turned to go after Hakan first. Never once did he stumble or trip, though his movements were a purposeful and deliberate. Calculating, though you'd never notice with how smoothly he moved despite having no vision.
The woman looked surprised at that, hearing what had happened to Uma. After, she slowly nodded and said "Fair. You shouldn't just... settle. Especially if someone saw fit in harming you like that. Make sure you find someone you know will treat you right." She gave Uma a reassuring smile. "I just hope you're doing alright after that?"
Alma chuckled softly at this. "I understand, but it comes with the job, yes?" She smiled in amusement before looking back out at the crowd. "Can you blame them though? It's not everyday the king or queen, or both, come out to the commons to see them. I'm surprised we haven't been swamped with talk yet, though we did just get here."
