“Very true. We try our best though so I think we’re good.” Makya said with a small smile. “I think this little one will be fine living with her though.” He said softly, “that’s what I may name him actually. Taron. Little Hunter.”
Kota smiled softly, “i know you’ll both love it:” he said, bringing them to the pub first, which had the best bar selection.
Roman sighed, “when you’re a royal it’s like you become a fish in a fish bowl. People like to observe and take what they can get for their own amusement. It’s even worse in this situation because you’re not a royal yourself. It makes them think they have a chance in the future with other royals. It also makes them think they can degrade you... which they can’t.”

Llum nodded and said "It is a good name. Especially after he gets to actually hunt. It's in the veins of every warg."
Nim looked around the pub, an ear twitching as he listened to the chatter and watched the people having a good time.
Alma nodded slightly. "Well, if they press their luck too far, their rude awakening will be all the more amusing for those spectating, hm? All we can do for now though is make sure they remember their place." Sure, Alma's bloodline had no royalty, and what was worse was that she was technically a "foreigner" in terms of blood and roots. Still, she wasn't going to let anyone degrade her.

Makya smiled proudly, “well then Taron it is.” He crouched down, looking to the pup, “Kaltxi, Taron. Hello.” He translated himself for the pup, as if he somehow understood one better than the other, since he really didn’t understand either.
“Come.” Kota said after spotting s group of tough looking men. He moved towards them. They smiled and yelled for Kota as he approached.
“And also your place. As my queen.” Roman said simply, “no matter your roots you’re above them. And your kin will be above them..

The pup just barked, wagging his tail and sniffing at Makya. He was only about the size of a toddler or so, but fully grown he'd be the size of a medium-ish bear, probably bigger though that would still be small for a warg since he was a runt.
Nim stayed quiet for the moment, letting the friends catch up and greet each other. He gave Uma a bit of a sheepish look, knowing she and Kota were probably the more social of the trio.
Alma nodded slightly. She then laughed a little before saying "At first I probably would've disagreed, and some of those around us apparently still do disagree."

Makya smiled, gently reaching a hand out to pet the pup. “Is there a certain way to pet them?” He asked curiously.
Eventually Kota introduced the others, and the group welcomed them in like they were old friends. They were handed drinks and offered spots.
Roman shrugged, “well. Disagree or not. I chose you and I stand by that choice ever day since I met you.” He said simply.

Tse-Tse told him "Just pat them or pet the path of the fur. Rubbing fur the opposite direction annoys them, even puppies."
Nim found a spot to settle down, his ears angling back in a bit of a shy manner, but he did his best not to retreat into a shell."
Alma smiled at this. "And I'm glad for that, though I was admittedly a little unsure of us at first." Before, when they were first getting to know each other she'd expected him to want another royal or something. "No doubts now though, of course."

Makya nodded. Hakan also bent down to gently pet the pup. Both men looked very happy and content there.
Kota seemed to notice this and refused to let him be anti social. He simply plopped down next to him, man spreading and putting an arm around Nim, “Yep, this is my sexy boyfriend I was telling you all about.” He joked with a laugh. “So y’all better keep your hands to yourself and eyes elsewhere got it?” He asked. One of the men laughed, “you got it chief. I’ve only got eyes for my wife anyway.” He said. Kota then looked to Nim, “tell em about yourself.”
Roman cracked a joking smile saying, “and why do you think that? Is it because I just made the whole palace hear you or the fact that I’ve been begging you for kids lately. I can’t tell really.”

The pup was more than happy to be getting attention, even if it wasn't from other wargs.
Nim still looked a little nervous as the others looked at him. He couldnt tell them the truth obviously.
His ears remained flattened out of shyness as he said "Well, I'm not from here... I'm from Einwal actually, though I left a little young to just do some traveling." Einwal was a small city-state known for its scholars and vast range of knowledge, but their hierarchy was also based on your ability to learn. Essentially, "stupid" people were generally frowned upon and ended up at the bottom of the pyramid. "It wasn't my cup of tea, so here I am."
Alma chuckled. "Both are true. Seems anyone who is jealous will just have to remain such, or find someone to entertain them."

Hakan smiled at this. The first time today. “He’s so cute.” He said softly. “I wish I had a pet like this. Other than my Tihona that is.” Not that he didn’t love his Tihona, as he had her since she was a foal.
Kota smiled softly as he explained this, “we’ve been friends for so long. I’m just glad we finally got together in the end...” he said, smiling as he looked to Nim, See, kitten? That wasn’t so bad was it? he asked.
“Yep!” Roman said with a smile, “I’ve already got my one and only queen.” He told her, “and I’m not losing you by my own will any time soon.”

Llum's ears angled toward Hakan as he asked "You don't have pets?" He had been to places where those in power basically had a menagerie, though some of these people took much better care of the animals than others.
Nim just smiled slightly. "It probably took so long because I was so nervous around you." I know... but still. I don't know why I can be so shy sometimes...
Alma smiled in amusement. "Ha, you won't be getting rid of me so easily anyway! I'm in this for the long haul, obviously. Sorry to say, but you're stuck with me for now!"

“No.” Hakan said, “my parents do but I don’t...” he showed them a fake smile, “it’s fine though. One day when I rule I’ll get myself a ton of pets.” He said softly.
Kota smiled softly, “well I’m glad we finally get to show our affection for one another out in public like this.” He said, that’s why I’m here to help you, love. You’re doing great.
Roman raised an eyebrow, “oh really? Darn! I thought I could get rid of you.” He said jokingly. He then looked to her, “I’m kidding. You’re the catch of the century. How could I let you go so easily?”

Tse-Tse simply said "You should, if you really want. Just make sure you can handle what you have." Once the pup was settled in and all, she asked "Alright, ready to get going then?"
Nim couldn't help but smile more at this. "I'm glad, too. I was... a little on the clueless side at first though, in terms of being in a relationship."
Alma smiled brightly at this. "Ah, I should be the one asking that. Looks like we're both not going to let each other go without a fight, huh?" Roman was definitely it for her, it seemed.

Makya and Hakan nodded a little as they stood. Makya still looked to the pup though, already head over heals.
The others snickered, “ah. Guess we know now who the top is.” One man said, “despite Nim here being the much.. larger one.” They laughed at this and Kora scoffed.
Roman nodded a little. He then gently kissed the side of her face. He then looked as they made it to the stables again. He rejected the offer to get them a carriage. He wanted to take his mount.

The pup watched Makya, whining softly. Tse-Tse watched curiously and said "He's already so attached."
Nim opened his mouth to protest, but found himself unable to say anything. He just looked away, cheeks warming up as he blushed.
Alma looked toward the horses, her own companion turning toward the two upon noticing them. The stallion leaned toward them slightly, large nostrils twitching and tail flicking.

Makya smiled, “I should train him to walk by my side so he can just come places with me...” He thought out loud.
Kota snickered, “Yeah, I can make the bed rock when we’re alone.” He joked, “but it doesn’t have to be a bed we’re on for me to... rearrange some things.” He smirked a little to Nim as the other laughed and made grossed out sounds.
Roman got onto his mare, the unusually large horse snorting with anticipation.

Tse-Tse then said "Wouldn't be too hard since he would probably follow you around anyway, but you never know."
Nim lightly hit Dakota's shoulder at this, blushing deeply as everyone snickered or laughed.
When they were ready to go, Alma lightly urged her horse forward, the large stallion's ear flicking before he started walking.

“Still. If he follows me around he’ll need to know all sorts of commands to look distinguished. You know the deal.” Makya said. “Speaking of. Has he had any training prior to this or are me and my team starting from scratch here?” He asked curiously.
Kota laughed deciding to embarrass him even more as he gently pulled him in to kiss his cheek. “Aw look at mr tough guy all bashful!” A women in the group laughed.
Roman followed behind his wife for a few seconds, taking them to admire her a little.

Tse-Tse said "Some training, yes. Basic commands to follow, stay, etc. Even basic hunting strategies based on signals, though there is still growing to do before he can take on large prey." Though with his size, Taron could probably take down prey around the size of a small child, maybe a little bigger? "Wargs are fighters, hunters. So it's actually easy to teach them such things even at a young age. Though I assume you have your own methods and signals, so you'd probably want to teach that?"
Nim couldn't help but smile, saying to Kota "Someone's extra affectionate today, huh?" He didn't mind it though, obviously. He seemed to be enjoying it, considering his shy actions and blush.
Alma seemed to sense this and looked back at Roman. "Enjoying the view?" she asked with a chuckled, her eyes alight with amusement even as she looked ahead again.

“Yes I would, though you are the expert. If you have any tips and tricks I’d love to hear them out.” Makya said simply, “I’m not one of those trainers who thinks it’s their way or nothing. I just do whatever fits best for the animal. If I have to change my methods for a specific creature I will.”
“Mmmhm.” Kota said, “today is the day I get to show you off. And Uma of course but-“ He looked as Uma scoffed, “I am not something to be shown off like a trophy or toy..” she snapped. Dakota made a face saying, “-that.”
Roman smiled softly, “very much yes.” He thenlsughed, trotting up along side her again, “how’d you know what I was doing?” He asked playfully.

Tse-Tse nodded and said "I can show you some of the methods and tricks used to train wargs, nothing complicated but still reliable. That leaves opportunity to integrate your own training as well, or switch out bits and pieces.
Nim blinked as Uma spoke. Fair, though he proceeded to suggest "I don't think he meant it like that?" At least not for her, it seemed.
Alma said "I could just tell. Well, that and a lucky guess." She laughed a little at this. She then said playfully to Roman "You'll need to be sneakier than that! I easily discovered you!"

Makya nodded, “that would be greatly appreciated. But if he wants to work along side my other animals, especially just as a body guard, he will have to respond to the same commands as the other animals. A start is a start though.” He explained.
“I know what he meant.” Uma said plainly, “and my point still stands.” She looked to him, “you wouldn’t understand.” That’s when two women stood, the wives of the other’s there. One smiled and offered to take Uma with them to hang out separate from the guys. Uma nodded. (You can be one of the wives if you’d like)
Roman scoffed, “you’re my wife. I don’t care if you found me out or not. What are you going to do? Punish me?” He asked jokingly, “and I don’t care if the whole kingdom sees. I’m just admiring what’s mine~”

As the women left, the other one there making conversation, Nim watched them go for a moment before looking back to the others. He wouldn't press the subject of course, knowing how Uma was anyway.
Alma couldn't help but laugh a little at this. "Oh, I'm definitely not complaining. I revel in the attention!" She grinned at this. "And, it doesn't hurt to know that I get to admire you whenever I wish too~"

Makya nodded, “this is true. And it’s anticipated although it would be a shame since I got him to serve for a certain purpose, but I believe an animal chooses their own place in life. We will figure it out together in time.” He explained. Hakan snickered at this, “cheesy.” Is all he said.
Uma sighed as she followed the women outside. One woman, who was tall and had long, silky white hair from age, looked to Uma saying, “you must be new here huh? “ she started out. Uma nodded, “I’m visiting with my friend Nim who you met. To see Kota.”
Roman decided to joke with her saying, “ah, so basically what you’re saying is you look at my butt to sometimes huh? Because that’s what I’m hearing.” He said.

Tse-Tse shrugged at Hakan. "As cheesy as it may be, such is for all walks of life." There would be plenty of opportunities to ponder the meaning of life though, but for now it wasn't on her agenda.
The other woman nodded and said "Well, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here. Plenty to see and do. Never boring." Well, unless Uma just planned on sitting around and doing nothing, but you never knew. "But sometimes you just need a break from the guys, hm?"
Alma smiled mischeviously and said "Yes, actually. And I'm lucky I get to basically whenever I want without worry." As of now, he was hers. Just like she was his, so she didn't have to worry about anyone else trying to take what was hers.

Hakan sighed, “not for me...” he commented quietly. Makya smiled, gently patting his back, “don’t worry. In time you’ll figure out a way to find your own love.” He said simply, “and your own path.” He gently linked his arm around his as close friends usually did amongst their people.
“I’ve been here before. It’s a lovely place.” Uma commented, “and yes, I am much needed of a break from boys. I’ve lived with them my whole life!” She sighed, “I’m lucky I really only noe life with one messy one.”
Roman laughed, “and it will always be that way. Even when we’re elderly and are covered in wrinkles.” He scrunched his nose at the thought.

Tse-Tse studied them for a moment before looking ahead. She still needed to adjust to the culture sometimes, mainly due to how exposed these different people were. Light clothing, no armor or mask. If it suited them though, good for them. "Alright, shall we get going then? Should be an... interesting little practice ahead of us."
As Uma spoke, she nodded gently in response. "Sometimes some time away is good, but hopefully your friends aren't too rowdy, yes?" Some of her husband's friends were exactly that, but still good people nonetheless.
Alma laughed at his expression. "Ah, don't look too distraught. It's something you can't avoid, after all." Unless they died early, she supposed. "But hey, spending all that time with you is still a win, in my opinion."

Hakan smiled in amusement while Makya just looked thorufully at his sourroundings, in his own little world. “I’ll lead the way, come on.” Hakan spoke up before speeding up his pace as he turned a corner.
Uma shook her head no with a sigh, “no. Though you know Kota. He can be quite loud at times. He’s so full of himself, yet he is so giving at the same time. It’s confusing to say the least. We used to be together back in the days you know. But, things didn’t work out in the end. Besides, he’s always had the hots for Nim and I began to become interested in another friend of mine.. he’s gone now though sadly.” She shrugged at the last part.
Roman grumbled, “You’re one to talk. When I’m older I’ll likely look like my dad. He’s not the worst looking but still, you know what I mean. And I’ll probbaly be a little senile like my mom.” He huffed. “You on the other hand will still remain as fair and noble as you are today. You’ll just become more wise. You kno, since you’re Mrs perfect.” He pretended to look annoyed.

Tse-Tse and Llum followed quietly, though Llum was much more careful with his movements for obvious reasons. He just listened to the other sounds as he followed while Tse-Tse actually got to look around.
With a slight frown she said "Well... I'm sure you'll find someone, yes? You just have to be a little patient." As much as she wanted to ask questions, out of pure curiosity, about this "other friend", she decided not to in case it was a sensitive subject.
Alma laughed at this. "Ah, if only! A nice thought, but I doubt it." She smiled some more before saying "As long as you're around though, I don't mind what happens or how I turn out with age."

They soon made it to the hunting grounds. Hakan and Makya both stopped and turned to the two. “Alright, give us ten minutes to go and hide. Then you can come and begin the hunt.” Hakan said. Makya then added, “once you get us just pin us down okay? Don’t hurt us please...” he asked. The two then nodded to each other before running off into the thicker woods with bigger trees and large bushes.
Uma nodded, sighing as she checked her nails, “oh I am more than patient. I may complain but I certainly do not need a man. I can easily provide for myself, and more importantly I can make myself happy. I don’t need another..” she told them.
Roman smiled, “either way I’m sure you’ll still be the most beautiful rose of them all.” He cooed. They soon made it into town, and a crowd seemed to split for the two. Connor stopped by the center, right by a large fountain flowing with water. He then got off of his horse before looking to Alma. He reached up to help her off her horse out of common manners like he usually did. It was only proper for a husband to help his wife off a horse. And vice versa of preferred.
