As the dragon began to circle the girl, she felt a sudden bittersweet sense take over. Was it circling to attack, or was the scaled beast purely curious? She didn't know what to make of the situation, so she sat still and tall, hoping it would at least thwart any aggression from the dragon.
Eyza knew now not to touch it, but she thought it rather strange that a dragon be found so close to the village. Especially a village of such professions. The young woman peered at the large reptile as it lurked around the stone she sat upon.
"Well?" she spoke softly, as if inviting it to do something- anything- but circle her.

The dragon settled down in front of Eyza, laying down and just gazing up at her. The dragon didn't growl or anything, it just stayed there, curiously gazing up at her. It didn't show any aggressiveness, just interest and curiousness. The dragon's tail waved slowly, but it didn't move.

The dragon growled softly as Eyza reached her hand out, the dragon pulling back its head a bit, not wanting to be touched. The dragon got back up to its paws and started circling the human girl, sniffing at her softly. The dragon itself seemed rather curious, not sure what to make of the human. ((No worries, Smokey! We understand, hope everything is OK!)) Pyre whimpered a little bit and also ducked his head, watching as Scaws tucked his head nervously under Pyre. Scaws didn’t have the strongest or most brave personality. Pyre looked back up at his friends. “She’s.... confused. The evil influence that hurt her a while ago is taking over.” He replied softly. Sizarla giggled and nodded in agreement. “Yeah, it was nice being with you, Raiden. Being with another dragon is nice. Plus, Alekar snores!” She said with a smirk, also gliding along the windy sky. “It sure it windy tonight up here.” The dragoness said. The others fidgeted at that, and one asked "Do you think you'll be able to help her? What if she's no different than that thing?" Magna huffed and said "Xandrite is strong! She'll get through this. We haven't lost hope in her." Raiden hummed in agreement. "I personally like the feeling of windy skies. It's comforting." He then suddenly said "How about we race back, huh?" He flapped his wings a few times as if to debate just taking off. He would play fair though! |

Pure nodded in agreement with his sister. “Yeah! Our big sister is strong! She’ll get through this and we’ll be there to help her come back.” He said adamantly. Scaws, still the timid one of the group, just nodded in agreement with his siblings and stayed quiet.
Sizarla’s eyes glittered at the proposition of a race and she grinned. “Oh you are on!” She replied excitedly. She then immediately tried to fly faster, intent on giving Raiden a good race.

(Yes I am, this semester was particularly hectic, and I keep saying I will have more free time but idk why I keep saying that during the semester lolll. I should prob wait to claim more activity until after finals, which would be May 7th or so)

Magna noticed Scaws' quiet demeanor, and gave her brother a comforting nudge. "It'll be okay," she murmured, trying to comfort him some. The others seemed a little more at ease with answers the siblings gave, though there was definitely still some doubt. "Let's change the subject," Magna said. "To something more lighthearted, huh?" Raiden laughed as he continued to fly along to race Sizarla. It had been a while since he had just been able yo relax like this with other dragons, and apart of him wished it didnt have to end! |

Scaws smiled a little bit at his sister’s comforting attempt and he lightly nuzzled her in return. Thanks he mouthed to her, standing a bit closer to his sister. “Yes, let’s change the subject.” He agreed.
Pyre nodded softly then looked up at their friends again. “So, what are you all up to?” He asked.
Sizarla continued to race back to the town beside Raiden, smiling the whole time. She hadn’t been able to enjoy herself this much, and Raiden was such a kind male. They were quickly approaching town and Sizarla immediately began to dive down towards it, trying to pull ahead of Raiden with her sleek, aerodynamic form.

Was it not going to attack? Maybe she had scared it. But if she had scared it, surely it would be attacking her? The girl didn't move out of fear, a slight tremor running through her every time the scaled beast took a breath. Perhaps it would leave if she stayed still for long enough. Of course, she knew she wouldn't be able to still for long. Eyza sighed. "What are you doing out here by yourself?" she thought aloud. It still looked fairly small, ginormous of course, but small. Looking around for any signs of other dragons, the dark-haired woman slid down from the rock. Slowly, she set her feet on the ground and peered at the dragon. "Hellooo.." she half mumbled. |

The dragon settled down and slowly laid down, lightly pawing the ground. The dragon appeared to want to talk more. It slowly twitched its tail before leaning a bit, revealing a paw that appeared to have been hurt a while ago. It was scarring over now, but it had been fairly recent.

The dark-haired woman jumped a bit in surprise as the scaled beast started to move, realizing it was only resting. She glanced down at the clawed paw that it had so graciously revealed, concern evident on her face. Eyza was hesitant to touch the dragon of course, much less be so close to it, but was wary that the village had been hunting dragons again.
"Ah," she mumbled softly, half to herself. "That's no good, I wonder where you got it?" she inquired.

"That's no good, I wonder where you got it?" she inquired. The female dragon warbled softly but just stayed where it was. It seemed to like hearing her talk as it slowly began to calm down and lower its raised scales. It slowly moved a bit closer, letting out another calm warble. |
