Scared and Pyre quickly flew after their sister, both soon catching up as they headed towards the town, while their father called, “Be safe you three!” As they glided down to the busier part of the village.
Sizarla grinned and trilled happily at the praise from Raiden. “Aww thanks Raiden...” she murmured softly, gently nuzzling his neck and chin. Just laying there with Raiden, spending time with him made Sizarla’s heart pump loud. She really liked the male, and she hoped he liked her too. She eventually leaned up some more, delicately licking Raiden’s cheek and along his chin. “Raiden... would you ever consider.... taking another lover?” She whispered. She didn’t want to say mate yet, especially if it made him remember the death of his mate and the loss of his egg.

Magna chirped happily as they reached the busy area, looking for a good place to land. The human areas were nice and all, but she wanted to get to the areas where the dragons and dogs mainly hung out. That's where their friends were!
Raiden paused. "I... don't know yet." He surely felt things for Sizarla, but he wasn't sure if he was ready for anything super intimate yet. There were still questions he needed answers to, things he needed to figure out. "I still have a few things to figure out, unfortunately."

Pyre soon saw an open area. “This way!” He chirped, tilting to the side and leading the way to the open area where they could land, while Scaws followed in pursuit.
Sizarla nodded slowly, gently licking her friend’s chin a couple more times. “I understand, Raiden. And, should we stay together during our travels, I’ll wait as long as you want.” She churred softly to him, wanting to reaffirm that she didn’t want to make him uncomfortable or feel pressured.

Magna followed after her brothers, looking around at the bustling area. She saw some others they knew and made a mental note to say hi at some point. When they landed, she neatly folded her wings and chirped happily.
Raiden smiled gently at Sizarla. "Thank you." He just wasn't quite ready, but he did want to try things out with her at some point. "I'm hoping we do stick together though. It's been a while since I've even been around another Celestial dragon of any kind!" It was nostalgic, but also just knowing Sizarla personally was great.

Pyre and Scaws soon landed beside their sister and also folded up their wings. Scaws looked around and chirped happily as he saw some dragons he knew and he started walking towards them, letting his siblings do what they wanted.
Pyre looked around and he just noticed some humans notice their arrival and apparently bow or curtesy to them before moving in with their day. “I wish they didn’t do that. There’s been more and more people apparently calling us the “dragon princes and princess.’ I get that Uncle Drake and Aunt Mysha are the Chiefs but that really doesn’t make us royalty. Humans are weird.” Pyre said with a huff.
Sizarla nodded happily and just let out a soft trill. “Yes I haven’t gotten to be with any Celestial dragons for a long time either. This is really nice.” She said, lightly rubbing her head on his neck to show friendliness. She then yawned a little and noticed it was getting quite late. “Mmm it’s getting late Raiden. Think we should head back? Or maybe just stay here for the night?” She asked gently.

Magna shrugged. "We're the next most respected creatures here, just after dogs. Though I'll admit I'm not too fond of others treating me like that. I just want to live normally." She fidgeted slightly as she thought about Xandrite. Their adopted sister probably would've preferred the respect that they got shown. Frowning a little, she said "Let the humans have their little customs. It's harmless, I guess."

Raiden's tail swished gently before saying "We should probably head back, as much as I'd enjoy staying here. There will be plenty of opportunities for us to have alone time!" He smiled at Sizarla teasingly, nudging her playfully with a wing.

Pyre nodded in agreement and Scaws lightly nudged his sister to show he agreed too. “Yeah, I just wish we could live like other dragons. Getting to have fun, not having to be in the fort all the time.” Scaws said, tail waving a little as they started walking towards the group of dragons they knew.

Sizarla giggled lightly when Raiden nudged her and she lightly nudged his neck with her snout. “Silly male.” She chirped playfully, enjoying his warmth and scent for just a moment more before she got up to her paws. “Let’s go!” She chirped, spreading her wings and taking to the sky.

Magna then said "When we get older, we'll have more freedom. Breathing room. Mom and dad are just being protective of us right now, but one day we'll be big and strong like them!" When they reached their little jumble of friends, Magna greeted them as she stood by her brothers. It was nice to be out and about again.

Raiden followed after her, his wings carrying him upward in a few clean sweeps. He almost didn't want to head back just yet, but he wasn't keen on staying away from Laugai for long. He chirped gently, easily catching up to Sizarla and smiling softly at her. He looked away before he could get caught staring for too long though!

Pyre nodded in agreement, tail giving a single lash before approaching their friends. “I sure hope so. It’s so stuffy in the fort!” He said, looking up as they neared their friends. “Hiya!” The young male said happily, wings fluttering happily.
Scaws just hung back with his siblings, tail waving in hello to the other dragons.

Sizarla flew along beside Raiden, smiling the whole way. “Thanks for taking me to that spot, Raiden. It was nice being able to just relax with another dragon.” She said, glancing to her Sun Celestial friend. “Especially someone as friendly and kind as you.”

A petite woman sat upon a rock in the sunny clearing. She'd been coming here for a long time, ever since her late older brother had brought her there for a picnic one unfortunate evening.
Her short brown hair blew gracefully in the wind, a sigh escaping her lips. She felt at home here, as if the weight of her daily life had been lifted from her shoulders. There were no worries here. Only the sun, the breeze, and the love of the forest resounding with her.
She opened her emerald eyes as she fell back onto the large rock, peering up at the fluffy clouds. How lonely was it that Eyza had found more comfort in the woods than in her own village? A reject, she'd been called. A freak for her brother had practiced his bonding with the dragons.
The girl furrowed her brows. Now is not the time to be thinking of him, Eyza... she'd reassured herself. A frown fell upon her lips, but she didn't make haste to rid of it. Feeling sad reminded her that she too, was part of this world. She closed her eyes once again, her breathing slowing as she relaxed into the warmth of the sun and the birds singing above.

I centrally it came closer, it’s pawsteps quiet and soft, purposefully masked by the slight breeze whispering in the trees and shrubs surrounding the area. Eventually the shape moved to be standing overtop of Eyza, blocking out the sun dappling her face and body. That’s when it could be heard, a slight breathing sound followed by a slight growl. A big, reddish-black dragon was standing over her, staring directly at her face, it’s mouth slightly open revealing rows of razor-sharp teeth that glinted in the light. It’s dark crimson eyes stared down at Eyza, examining her as if wondering what he’d found. |

( AshLightning) Eyza had felt the warmth from the sun fade in a sudden manner. Her heart dropped, as she feared opening her eyes to see what had caused it. With all luck, the clouds may have shaded the blaring light. Unfortunately for the woman, mere clouds weren't the case. Slowly opening her eyes, her breath hitched. Rows of pearly teeth hovered above her face, the overgrown reptile's hot breath cascading from its menacing jaw. She tried desperately to think of what to do, even contemplating reaching for the blade attached to the belt strung across her hip. With a dreading shock Eyza realized that she'd left the weapon at home, seeing as she would be so close to the village. Almost feeling paralyzed, the young woman stared up at the dragon as she prayed it wasn't hungry. |

The large dragon seemed to flinch as the human twitched and open their eyes. It started to growl louder as it noticed the person reaching for their hip. The dragon had enough experiences with humans to not trust anyone reaching for something hidden. However, seeing as the human appeared to not have their weapon, the dragon tipped its head, now curious. It slowly closed its mouth and then stopped back, allowing the human to get up. The dragon seemed to be relatively placated as it saw the human not making sudden moves.

Eyza watched in confusion as the dragon, rather than moving to attack her, had stepped back. This was one of the strangest experiences she'd ever had with the gargantuan reptilians, and it was evident in the way her brows furrowed. She sat up slowly, as to not scare it, and looked forward to meet its gaze. There wasn't any anger scribbled on it's face, nor did it seem aggressive. But why?
The woman tilted her head and cleared her throat. "Hello..." she mumbled to herself, cautiously extending a hand to the scaled creature. Truly had she never seen such a docile dragon. "How strange are you?" Eyza purred.

Raiden smiled at this. "You're very welcome. It was nice to just relax for a while, away from others. Something I rarely get while traveling with Laugai. Even better to have someone such as yourself to share the quiet time with!" His wings beat occasionally, mainly just gliding along the night wind, which was particularly active that night up in the air. |

The dragon growled softly as Eyza reached her hand out, the dragon pulling back its head a bit, not wanting to be touched. The dragon got back up to its paws and started circling the human girl, sniffing at her softly. The dragon itself seemed rather curious, not sure what to make of the human.
((No worries, Smokey! We understand, hope everything is OK!))
Pyre whimpered a little bit and also ducked his head, watching as Scaws tucked his head nervously under Pyre. Scaws didn’t have the strongest or most brave personality. Pyre looked back up at his friends. “She’s.... confused. The evil influence that hurt her a while ago is taking over.” He replied softly.
Sizarla giggled and nodded in agreement. “Yeah, it was nice being with you, Raiden. Being with another dragon is nice. Plus, Alekar snores!” She said with a smirk, also gliding along the windy sky. “It sure it windy tonight up here.” The dragoness said.
