JUMP IN: Dragons and Humans RP

Pyre and Scaws each looked defeated and sad but they seemed to get the picture. They laid down again and just kind of huddled together.

Drake sighed softly and licked his kids a few times. “We’ll be back soon my loves. Be safe.” He murmured, then turned back to the rulers and warbled softly, telling them they were ready.

Alekar nodded slowly, glancing at the menu to decide what he wanted. “And that’s only makes sense. If you only please others while not receiving any joy yourself it’ll lead to burnout and unhappiness.” He said. He decided on an item and tried to wave down a waiter or waitress so they could order. They’d been there for a while and no one had come over to take their orders.

Mysha got onto Ma'ait, who made sure her younglings were alright before waiting for the boys to be ready as well.

Laugai nodded once before looking as a waiter came to take their order, the guy apologizing for the wait as he did.

Ma'ait took off after Shard, Mysha looking around as they quickly rose into the sky and headed toward where the dragon had been spotted last.

Laugai ordered a drink for himself as well, nothing too heavy. He also requested meat for Raiden, something with bones still in it hopefully since his companion liked to chew on the bones.

Ma'ait kept an eye out, and Mysha looked around warily. There was nothing out of the ordinary yet, but eventually she could smell smoke in the air.

Raiden purred softly as Sizarla stayed settled, glancing back at her and nudging her gently with his snout.

Mysha nodded a little. She couldn't see anything quite off yet though, just the smell of smoke. Ma'ait smelled the air, trying to see if they could smell Xandrite.

Raiden growled playfully at Sizarla before looking as their humans' orders were brought over. Including the meat. He tilted his head at the curious look the waiter gave the dragons.

Ma'ait eventually saw something. There was a big cave, but surrounding the entrance were more of those burnt creatures from before. They just sat there, completely stationary.

The waiter set everything down before smiling sheepishly at the dragons. "Enjoy," he told the group. Laugai thanked him before taking his drink and watching Raiden sniff at the meat.

Ma'ait decided to land nearby, though still getting a clear view of the scene. Perhaps Xandrite was inside. Mysha seemed to be thinking this too, saying "Maybe someone is in that cave or something. Could be the hatchling?"

Laugai chuckled as Raiden simply went to settle by Sizarla before beginning to eat as well. Taking a swig of his own drink, the human of the pair said "Good to see everyone in the group getting along. Especially since we plan on traveling together for a while!"

Mysha shrugged a little, saying "I'm not sure. I don't think they've seen us yet either though... maybe they're just guarding something." But there was a lot of them.

Raiden looked over as Sizarla offered to share. Nodding once, he said "Sure. You can try mine too, if you'd like?" He smiled a little, content to be sitting with her, sharing a meal.

Ma'ait huffed at the mention of waiting. What if their child was in there? She grunted softly, taking a few quiet steps closer to the treeline.

Raiden purred deeply, nuzzling Sizarla gently before trying a bite of her food. His tail twitched casually as he did, swallowing his mouthful before thanking her again for the offer.

There was no indication that the creatures even acknowledged them the closer they got. They just stared ahead as of waiting for something else.

Raiden ate his food as well, finishing quickly before licking his lips. It wasn't the same as hunting his own food, but it would do.

Whenever Shard burned some, more just popped out of nowhere, taking a seat around the cave but not doing anything. Mysha just stared in confusion. "They're not even attacking... even when we're trying to get through."

Raiden smiled as Sizarla leaned on him. Cooing softly, he nuzzled her gently and licked her cheek once.

Mysha watched curiously, though she did say "I doubt that would work though... they may be disgusting corpses, but I don't think they're stupid." She then suggested "Let's just go in. Maybe they'll allow us since the parents are here?"

Raiden smiled gently. "Oh? And you're so beautiful~" He put a wing around her, enjoying the attention as he continued purring. He was focused on Sizarla mainly, leaving the humans to talk to themselves.

No one attacked them as they progressed into the cave. Judging by the angle, they were descending. Mysha could sense another presence, though she could only smell the smokey char of fire.

Laugai laughed at this. "I can see. I don't know what we would do if they disliked each other." They'd probably have to part ways if things had gotten particularly bad. Celestial dragons tended to get along though.

Mysha squinted as she looked around. After a while of searching, the group eventually came across a large dome of a space. In the middle was Xandrite, sleeping soundly while surrounded by more of the charred monsters.

Laugai nodded. "Agreed." He was honestly interested in having more, but that wouldn't be the best idea at that moment. "We'll make sure our dragons are done too before going, huh?"
