Just like the name describes, this is a jump in rp about dragons and humans. All sorts of relationships can exist, friendships between humans and dragons, enemies between the too, etc. Please obey all rules of the forums, and be kind to each other! Also, PLEASE post a short description of any character within the first couple posts of you adding that character. Here we go! Draco was sitting on a rock pile in the forest, white hair sparkling in the light as he relaxed beside a small, dark blue dragon that was only a few feet bigger than him. Draco had a well-built body, strong arm muscles and chest that didn't look like they'd normally belong to such a pale boy. He was whittling a long, straight branch, apparently trying to make some kind of pole for something. He was humming as he worked, and his pale, ice-blue eyes examined every detail of his work, occasionally looking away from it to scan the area. The small dragon beside him appeared to be sleeping, eyes closed and a small smile on the thin, nearly non-existent lips of the dragon. Despite being small, the dragon appeared very lithe and thin, like it could get around quickly. (( Samandriel here you go!))

(Omg I just realized you're Tobster. C'mere you big oaf, I missed you <3)
What a fickle thing, fate is. It just so happened today was the day little Acorn and her companion Oka went out on their journey together. They'd been sent to explore the world for five years, and eventually, return to their hidden village. It was a right of passage, proof she could make it out in the world. Acorn was a small girl, only 5'5", and slightly chubby around the thighs and waist. But she was very pretty, with long locks of golden hair and fluttery blue eyes, and more importantly she was smart and able to use these to her advantage on most. While not the most mature girl, she was flanked by the wise Oka, a hound-like dragon that was larger than a great dane, with a barrel-body and trunk-like legs. One might compare Oka to a bear, with such thick white fur and huge paws.
Acorn lay on Oka's back as they entered the clearing, enticed by the sound of the river running right through the clearing and behind the rocks. But as Oka began to growl a soft warning, Acorn sat up, quick to grab the comforting feel of her shortsword on her back. She spotted Draco, likely long after he had seen her, and jumped from Oka's back. She said no greeting, but simply waited to see what the boy might say or do.

((Lol hi! How are you?))
Draco heard a growl from nearby and looked over, sitting up some. He laid a gentle hand on the dragon beside him to calm the beast, who was waking up as it heard the growls, and Draco's eyes soon landed on the other dragon, instantly associating it with a dog-like dragon, and smiled a bit when he saw another human sit up on the dragon's back and then dismount it. He raised a hand and gave a gentle wave, apparently not fazed at all by the sudden appearance of the two. "Hello!" He called out, setting down his project.
Asla blinked open her eyes, waking fully, when she felt Draco's hand on her. She looked over in the direction he was looking and the tiny frills on her back stood up as she sat up as well. She didn't growl, but didn't look too relaxed either.

(Hanging in there! And you?)
Oka receded in her soft noises, adopting a much friendlier tone at his call. She dipped her head, and began to pace forward. Acorn unclenched the fist wrapped around her hilt, letting her arms hang at her sides instead. "H-Hey. Who are you?" She called back. This was the first person she had met outside of her home. And so soon! She hadn't expected anyone for another day, maybe two.

((About the same, living a day at a time )) Draco smiled and stood up, easily hopping off the rock pile he and Asla had been lounging on. "I'm Draco, and this is Asla." He replied, soon joined by the dragon he mentioned as she slithered down off the rocks and stayed beside her human companion. She looked at the other two and smiled, tipping her head and letting out a few happy trills in greeting. "We're traveling around, what about you two?" Draco asked.

(Ain't nothin' changin' but the weatha. I feel.)
Oka sized up the two. Both seemed overly confident, despite her presence, an interesting and slightly disturbing observation. Did they believe they were strong enough to not warrant any worry over her? Or, perhaps they were not fighters, and instead simply put trust in she and Acorn. Yes, the latter was what she would bet on. "I'm Acorn, this here is Oka. I'm on my own journey with her as well." She brought both hands together in front and bowed in greeting. "Where are you heading?"

((Yup, pretty much XD ))
Draco looked at Asla, then back at the new pair, and they both shrugged in unison. "We don't know really, we just like going around and seeing what we find." Draco replied as he put a hand behind his head, grabbing his white hair awkwardly. "What about you two? Where are you two going?" He asked, watching as Asla trotted up towards the pair and circled them slowly and curiously, just wanting to get to know the pair better.

(Hehe we're dorks.)
Oka sat down, watching the little dragon out of the corner of her eye. It was adorable in a way, and that maternal instinct of hers made her want to pull Asla in and hug them tight. "Well, quite simply, I just need to earn some experience and learn something new. I don't know where to go or what to do, so I'm letting the wind guide me." She blushed a bit, smiled, and continued. "So, we don't know really. Same boat as you two."

Lol yup. So anything special happening for you at all?))
The young man smiled, watching Asla circle the other two, and he looked back at Acorn. "I see. Well, I guess if anything that means that we mean no threat to each other. Do you know how to survive out here in the wild?" He asked, just wondering for curiosity's sake.
Alsa circled the pair a couple times, sniffing them occasionally. She eventually stopped then reached, extended a paw, and lightly pawed Oka's tail then scampered a way a couple lengths, trilling happily and with playfulness.

(Nothing real special. Just took the ACT again. Won't know how I did for minimum 2 weeks. Likely 8 weeks.)
Oka purred softly, and began flicking her thick tail like a toy. It couldn't feel much, so even if Asla got a bit rough, that thick fur would keep her from pain. And it had been too long since the dragoness had seen a child of her own species. Much too long... Acorn opened her mouth to reply, but realized she didn't. What a terrible thing to realize once being on such an expedition. She shut it, then muttered, "No. I don't."

Ahh I see, well good luck!))
Asla was looking at Oka, long tail waving slowly as she chirped a few times to goad Oka into playing. "COme on!" The female dragon said to Oka in their tongue.
Draco chuckled a bit, his hands dropping down to his sides again. "Hey, no problem. It's nothing to be ashamed of." He said as he looked around. "Why don't we stay together for a while, and I can teach you." He offered with a smile. "I like helping others, especially those who like dragons." He said happily.

((Gracias~))
Oka chuckled. "You'll need to try a bit harder than that." She teased in return. Her reply was rumbly, even for their species. Perhaps a foreign accent?
Acorn smiled, delighted at the possibility to stay around someone who knew what was going on. And a friend she could have a conversation with sounded preferable as well. Though her cheeks did heat slightly at the thought of sharing a camp with a boy her first night out. "Awesome! I'm so thankful, Draco."

((No problema))
Asla grinned, still trying to get Oka to play. She then stalled when she heard the other dragon's voice, tipping her head. "Why does your voice sound so deep?" She asked, then her tail stalled and her ears pricked, apparently hearing something. All of a sudden her eyes narrowed and she let out a shrill cry, apparently alerting to something.
"Like I said, no problem." Draco said. He then stalled as his dragon companion let out a shrill cry, and he turned to look in the direction she was looking in. He suddenly also spotted something and he grunted. "ASLA!" He shouted, to which the dragon took a deep breath in and then blew out, a sharp stream of water shooting out of her mouth and in the direction the two were looking. There was a short cry of "Ack!" in the near distance.
Draco watched as the stream shot by, barely missing his head, and he waited until he heard the cry, then he raised his hand near the stream. In a flash, quicker than the eye could see, the flowing water stream turned to ice where Draco's hand was and the ice spread in the direction of the recent cry. Within a heartbeat there was another cry of "AAH!" Draco grunted and his hand fell and Asla stopped spewing water. "Alright Asla, let's see what kind of Hunter we caught." He said, starting to walk in the direction of the cries.

(From here on out tonight, posts will likely get smaller. Switching to phone.)
Oka had leaped to her feet almost before Asla had made a noise, and put herself between danger and Acorn, though she didn't know what it was until Draco spoke again. Acorn had withdrawn her shortsword, and now a soft glow and hum emitted from the blade. She swiftly put it away, and walked around the back of Oka. "What was that, Draco?!" She asked, still frightened.

Lol no problem. Same here))
Draco paused, looking back at Acorn, and he smiled some. “Oh the ice? That’s a bit of a secret. As for the screams, follow me and I’ll show you.” He said, turning back in the direction he was heading and striking out that way again, grabbing a branch from the ground as he walked.
Asla followed her companion, pausing when she got beside the other two. “You two should come.” She voiced to Oka. “This could be important for you two to learn.” He said. She lumbered after Draco, then paused as she nearly stepped on something protruding from the ground. She sniffed it briefly, then picked up the object in her mouth. It appeared to be a freshly landed arrow. The female dragon then bit down and snapped the arrow in half before quickly following Draco.

The two looked between each other, obviously both intrigued, and followed. Oka kept herself vigilant, and Acorn kept a firm hand on her blade's hilt, in case of danger.

Draco let the others catch up and then he kept walking. “I don’t know where you two grew up or what situations were like where you came from, but here in this part of the continent, and about 99% of the rest, hate dragons. They’re loathed by people because of the false rumors and lies they are told. There are even dragon hunting guilds, groups of people who hunt down dragons and kill them for their hide and mear and power...” he said as he kept waking, fists clenching and what looked like steak or smoke coming from his clenched fists. “You always must be vigilant, always aware. Because the one time you’re not-“ he paused as he cane upon a solid form of ice, with a figure inside it. “One of these guys will come and getbyouvright when you least expect it.” He finished, looking at the strong, well built man inside the ice block, the look of pure horror frozen on his face from being encased in ice.
As they approached the figure, Asla examined him and growled. “He’s not dead... but by the time this ice melts naturally he’ll have a severe case of frostbite...” she said, apparently having no remorse for the hunter.

Oka flinched, but kept her enraged gazed upon the figure. He would dare offer danger to her, and Acorn? There was no remorse in the world for a man like this. "Guilds? Like, organized and sanctioned by the government? Official dragon hunters?" Acorn asked in bewilderment. She stared at the man, then walked forward and placed a hand against where his chest was. It was cruel to leave him here. She should let him go. He's learned his lesson.

“Don’t-“ Drago said, gently trying to move her hand full the block. “These people won’t learn until they’ve suffered. I’ve even seen this one before.” He said. “And yes, organized groups sanctioned by governments. It’s The governments who started all the rumors anyway, that way they can expand and become stronger without the threat of dragons getting in the way.” He said as he looked the man over. “He’ll be free by tomorrow. Hopefully his friends come see and they realize that we mean business.” He said as he turned and walked back to Asla. “Anyway, we should get moving away from this area. Then we can start survival lessons.” He said as he rubbed Asla’s neck gently.
Asla watched Draco circle the ice block then when he came back to her she purred and bumped her head on his chest gently and smiled as she was rubbed.

Were the situation not so serious, his touch might've made her squeak. So confident and so strong, yet gentle, it was enough to make a girl faint. Oka must have noticed the signs, for the motherly dragon came over and nudged Acorn, suddenly lifting her with her muzzle onto her back to ride. Acorn chuckled softly and nuzzled in to Oka's fur. "I guess you're right, Draco. I'll trust you." And she was eager for the lesson, too. The two girls followed on.

Lol she’s falling hard))
Draco smiled as he watched the pair and he nodded, gently letting go of Asla. “Alright then, let’s go.” He said, walking onward with Alss at his side. He walked confidently and kept a hand on the back of Asla’s neck as they walked. “Now, do you know basic hunting skills?” He asked Acorn as they got to a small clearing with sunlight filtering down from a break in the treecover.

She shook her head, but after a moment had to amend herself. "Well, I can set traps, and am skilled with a throwing dagger. But I doubt that makes me a master hunter." Though, she had no idea of tracking, or silent movement, though the latter she would find she was quite the natural at. Oka kept their pace so that she and Acorn were behind the other two. Her little Acorn would not be falling for any dashing young men today.

XD XD XD That Oka though)!
He nodded slowly as he pondered the best course of action. “I see. Well traps only work if the prey is dumb enough to fall for it, so it’s good to have some skill in active hunting.” He said as he looked around the clearing slowly. “But the throwing dagger does help, since you can possibly use that in short-distance hunting.” He said. “So maybe for now we should focus on tracking.” He said, nodding in agreement with his own idea. “Alright then, let’s go look at some back Music prey that’s good for nourishment before anything.” He said as he struck off in another direction again. He was very active, and it clearly took a lot for him to settle down once he got going.

Amanda and Scarlet were still in the valley but Scarlet was slightly injured, and Scarlet was busy getting stuff on Scarlet's back along with the bow.

Which wasn't bad, but it wasn't what they needed. For their two dragons, that would never suffice. Acorn chuckled softly as he ran, admiring his energy and attitude, and wishing she could just sifon off a little for herself, to keep her going at such speed.

((Hey no problem, Lycaonia, take your time to get better!))
Ocean had returned to the city for a few days, trying to figure out where her family heirloom was, if it was even still in the city. Now, he was charging back along the path leading to the valley, papers stuffed in his cloth bag he had and heaving deep breaths as he tried to keep running as fast as he could I hope they're still in the valley! He thought.
"So let's start with these tracks." He said, smiling as he knelt down beside some fresh tracks, waving Acorn over to him.
Asla watched as Draco found some tracks and she chirped to him softly, and Draco smiled. "Go ahead, Asla, there's a stream nearby so you should be able to find plenty of food." He said, then watched as the small dragon lumbered off.

((Oh my gosh, I've been waiting for a dragon and human rp but never had the motivation to make one )) Onyx looked around with narrow yellow eyes, her ears raised. The black, iridescent scales along her back warmed in the sunlight, making her quite cozy. She was perched atop a large rock, absorbing heat from the sun. Not really caring for others, the black dragon set her head down on her front feet as the spiked tip of her tail twitched.
