congratz on finishing curse and also a happy belated birthday!!! i wanted to get this out sooner but real life stuff just didnt allow it oof
any ways, yeah, congratulations shadow!!! you're an inspiration to me and i'm so happy that we're working on a project together! 💖 i look forward to all the beautiful things you create in the future, my friend!

hi! it's been a month since the last update!!! i wanted to come back to this with an update but unfortunately i have no such thing ready. i have something a lot worse though: an announcement of a hiatus from this!
i don't want to get into detail, but life sucks right now! i'm incredibly stressed out and it's not doing great things for my mental health. it's been so hard to find time to draw for this and even when i do find the time i can't find the motivation. i hope things will get better, but i don't see them getting better in the near future so I think i'll just go ahead and declare a hiatus from this.
i say this a lot and maybe it doesn't mean much anymore 😖 but i honestly am grateful for everyone whose been reading this and participating in helping tell this story! without you guys i wouldn't have had the guts to keep writing this! i want to come back to this as soon as i feel like i'm ready to because i don't want to give up, but right now i just don't have it in me
that's all i have to say for now! sorry if this whole post reads like garbage, i'm super tired rn. anyway, thanks again for all your support :')

 hey its me your friendly neighborhood furry-in-denial back at it again with my cat fanfiction life is less awful now and things have finally settled down considerably! also ive found the will to stop procrastinating so that means ill be able to continue updating this story again. the update is currently In The Works and hopefully youll be able to see it soon! |

You strain against the vine pulling at you. It's stuck so tight around your neck that the knot can't even side around your neck. Chewing it off is off the table, you'd probably snap your own neck trying to get at it. Screaming doesn't seem to be much of a choice, you're barely able to breathe as is. You'd just be rasping loudly.

This is certainly an odd way of kidnapping someone. You want to know just who or what is doing this to you!

You see... uh... well, they're definitely cats. For some reason, you can't seem focus on their shape or see any distinctive features on them. You're not really sure what you're looking at.
They don't carry any scent at all, which is bizarre and also not helpful in figuring out who they are. They might not even be clan cats.
They seem to speak, either to you or to each other you're not sure, but you can't make out any words. It's not that they're quiet, it's more like they're saying things so closely adjacent to words you know but your mind can't comprehend them at all. It's a little frustrating!

Follow the cats. You can't fight with the vine, and they aren't necessarily hurting you. Maybe they'll even take it off.

Run forward until the vine gives some slack and you're not choking anymore. Those cats wont expect you to go in the same direction as them and maybe if you pull away fast enough they wont see it coming.

Just discovering this and it’s so cool!! Love the art style, intrigued by the storyline
And as for the command:
>Ask them who they are, why they’re kidnapping you and where they’re taking you. Or at least... rasp out a ‘who?’ or something if the vine is too tight to let you speak properly? The more information you have, the more informed a decision you can make about whether to fight them.
