》OOC《 Oh, hey, I just noticed a mistake on my character's forms that I made. I was looking over the front page and wondering if you get the time, could you change Julian's and Ezekiel's ages to fifteen instead of sixteen? x3
Also, I still need to finish Miles's form, so I'll have that done asap.
》IC《 Ezekiel had his ways of finding out important information-----which meant he was simply good at paying attention and, like Victor had mentioned, there may have been just a little eavesdropping involved-----but he hadn't actually managed to discover what all the little details would be, such as the creatures themselves. It was unfortunate, but he'd feared getting caught and being reprimanded if he had risked stayed any longer. "Ah, no," he answered with a shake of his head, blonde curls bouncing. Upon hearing the clock chime, Zeke suddenly froze. Was it that late already? He had lost track of time, but he had thought they had longer than that. Actually excited for once, he took ahold of Victor's arms and began to almost, though not exactly, run in the direction of the event. Forget not wasting energy, he really didn't want to miss anything-----something big could happen and he'd never know it! "Let's hurry, Vic, or we'll miss it." Zeke didn't take the time to noticed he'd called Victor by a nickname, something he never did with anyone, too busy trying to make his way through the castle and outside. If he had noticed, he no doubt would've been quite embarrassed. Victor was his closest friend, but even so, Zeke was still rather shy. Despite how loud Victor had turned out to be, he enjoyed the other boy's presence.

(I'll try to fix/add everything tonight. ^^ )
Victor nodded and matched Zeke's pace. Admittedly, he did speed up a bit with the energy from Zeke feeding into his own. He was quite happy about the nickname. The only problem was that now he would have to come up with one for Ezekiel. His mind ran through the possibilities. He couldn't really think of any good ones. Nothing was perfect. He shoved the thought aside for later.
His mind switched to creatures when they neared the hill. He knew the creatures wouldn't be anything too dangerous. He assumed it would have to be related to the transfer students. He wouldn't doubt Hogwarts would bring in a creature from every region. Hogwarts may have an old, damp castle for their school, but they had a flare to them. All the events were just big and bright as the next, which reminded him of Beauxbaton. At the thought of his home, he grew excited. Perhaps they would have the Abraxan horses there. The large horses were simply magnificent. Ezekiel would love the powerful, yet beautiful creatures. Victor knew it. "Do you know anything about the Abraxan horses? I was thinking they would bring a creature from every region." He asked.

》OOC《Okay. :3 》IC《The sunlight was bright, though not overbearingly harsh, as Zeke stepped out of the gloomy castle and they made their way over the hill. From their high vantage point, he could clearly see where the event was taking place, and started over to it. While he may not have had to, or even really noticed it, he kept his hand on Victor's arm. It was possibly a sign of their friendship-----he often did it with his brothers, though of course it was an unconscious gesture. His turquoise eyes turned to Victor at the question. "Abraxan horses? I've only read about them." His eyes were shining, though, in that bright way they always did when he spoke of things he loved. "They're such beautiful creatures. I would love to see one in person." He sounded wistful and dreamy as he spoke, sighing a little. For all his intelligence, Ezekiel was a dreamer, and he was praying they would be able to interact with the creatures at least a little. It seemed he was feeling rather talkative in his excitement, too, though it was likely he'd only be speaking to Victor most of the time. Halfway down the hill, his eyes winded at the sight of the various different beings, looking for all the world like he'd just stepped into heaven. "Amazing," he breathed, so quietly it was almost inaudible.

Victor grinned. He opened his mouth to talk about then when he heard a familiar whinny. Of course, he didn't know the horses' names, but he knew what they sounded like. The deep but bright whinny was unmistakable. His head whipped around. There weren't any creatures in the field quite yet. However, through the trees, there were several flashes of fur and skin. The large, golden horses were easy to spot. Victor pointed, much like a child seeing something new. He wore a small smile, a little dimmer than his grin. The horses did make him happy, but also a little homesick. He missed the bright, sloping moors where the students could wander with the horses. He still wanted to show Ezekiel the horses though.
"There one is. I don't see another, but still. There she is, or he. I'm not sure." Victor spoke quickly. "Come on. Let's get a spot up close." He said almost in a whisper as if the other students weren't thinking the same.

》OOC《》IC《Zeke could see flashes of different creatures here and there, just bits and pieces really, yet it still seemed to amaze him. Of course he could see the giant horse, too, and it was indeed a lovely sight. Having only one magical parent, he'd lived a slightly sheltered life when it came to the magical world. Actually, he had very little experience at all, aside from a spell here or there that he remembered being used when he was a child. Nothing as great or interesting as this, that was for sure. While Victor's smile might have been a little dimmer due to being homesick, Ezekiel's face broke out into one of those tiny but truly happy smiles of his. This was, maybe, the third time he'd smiled since meeting Victor. Getting a closer seat definitely sounded like a good idea to him. Ezekiel, not being shy at all at the moment, walked side by side with Victor through the crowd. His smile disappeared when he spotted a familiar face-----not out of unhappiness, but more out of relex. Not too far away in the front of the crowd was Julian, who smiled and waved to Zeke. "Hey, Zeke!" He called loudly, although it wasn't actually too loud around them. "Over here!" Zeke hesitated, before he headed in that direction, giving Victor a nervous look and hoping he would follow. As much as he loved his brother, he could be a bit much to deal with sometimes.

Victor could help but to return Zeke's smile with a real smile. It was a special occasion when the boy smiled truly. He didn't want to stain the event with his own sad thoughts. He decided he would make this a day Ezekiel would remember and smile about. Victor weaved through the crowd slowly forming.
Someone called out a name and Ezekiel stopped. Victor slowed and backed up. He didn't exactly pay attention, but he was sure he hadn't heard Ezekiel's name. Though he won't deny it did sound similar. Victor followed his friend's gaze to another student. This one was in his house. He remembered seeing him around the common room and they wore the same robes. How would Zeke know him? He looked back and forth between the two before it dawned on him. Siblings. They looked nothing alike, but something told him, or he randomly guessed, these two were siblings.
At first, he was at a bit of a loss. Siblings were unknown territory for him. He didn't know if they wanted to be left alone for some family time or such. From the look Zeke gave him, Victor was invited. He let go of a breath he didn't know he was holding. Unconsciously, he was a bit worried about being left behind. Now, he felt relief. After all, Ezekiel's brother seemed friendly. He nodded and started to walk towards Julian.

》OOC《》IC《Knowing that Victor had decided to come him made Ezekiel feel a thousand times better about hanging out with his brother. Which might sound a little sad and made it seem like he disliked his brother, or didn't love him, which was entirely untrue. He loved Julian very much, as he did his parents and Miles as well, but... Well, Julian was a Gryffindor. Not to say that all of them were bad, because obviously he liked Victor, who had pretty much become his closest friend. But Julian was a little more pushy, in a way. "Zeke, I missed you!" Julian exclaimed upon seeing his brother, grabbing him in a quick hug. He pulled back to sling and arm over Ezekiel's shoulders, playfully rubbing his head with his fist. "Still as short as ever. You been eating enough? Not skipping quidditch practice are you?" Of course he would bring up quidditch. It was practically all he ever thought about nowadays. Quidditch this, quidditch that... Ezekiel squirmed his way out of his triplet's grasp, frowning as he tried to fix his already messy hair. "Yes and no," he answered calmly, choosing to ignore the remark about his height. Then his gaze fell on Victor again, looking happy at he looked at his friend, and maybe smiling a little. Just a bit. "Jules, this is my friend, Victor. Victor, this is my brother Julian." "Hey, Victor," Julian greeted him with a smile and a wave, all freckles and charm, his birthmark standing out rather vividly in the sunlight. "Nice to meet you. Oh, hey, we're in the same House. Me and Zeke are triplets, y'know. Miles didn't want to come, so that's kinda a bummer."

The Gemini Twins ;; Cassiopeia Maia Aten && Kale Pollux Aten
Cassiopeia was thoroughly embarrassed st this point, recognizing him easily and also recognizing that he did not have the same ease as she did. She bit her lip, pushing her hair behind her ear lightly while Kale gave her a dark stare, eyes cool. "Sorry again," she mumbled, shootig her own icy glare at her brother to appease him.
Kale eased up, turning a warmer, almost amusd, gaze to Bion, nodding. "We'd love to walk with you," he grinned, and Cass nodded somewhat sheepishly still. They headed off once more, Cassiopeia taking Castor from Kale to give her hands something to do. Kale didn't argue, knowing she was a little jumpy from the surprise encounter still.

Argh, so sorry for the poof, school's killing me atm. :c )
Nocawe was walking down to the forest when she heard a familiar voice, and lightened up instantly. Julian was loud enough to hear a block away, and she jogged lightly towards the sound of his voice. She found him talking to two younger-looking boys from Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. She reckognized one of them as the Beauxbatons student, and greeted them with a wide smile. Talk about killing two birds with one stone. Now she got to meet one other foreign student, one of her new friends, and a new potential one. "Hey, Julian!" she said, offering a quick hug, before pulling back smiling curiously at the others. "Mind to introduce us?"
Rowena and Makoto is coming up, just don't have the time right now.)

Victor watched the siblings, unsure of what to do with himself. The whole thing was a little surreal. He would have never guess anyone related to Ezekiel would be so...expressive. He had seen Julian smile for a longer time than Zeke in all of their time studying and talking. Then again, there must have been a reason Zeke was in Ravenclaw rather than Gryffindor. Not that all Ravenclaw's were reserved, but more were. It was probably all of the knowledge in their heads. When he heard his name, he snapped out of his thinking. He put on a grin as he was introduced. He nodded as if this was his first time seeing the other male. Honestly, it might be the first time meeting for them because Victor commonly hung out outdoors and almost never in the common room. He wasn't really social while eating. There wouldn't really have been a time for them to meet. "Sure, yeah, nice to meet you two," Victor said with a grin. Julian was interesting to look at and practically radiated friendliness. He wondered if the mark on his face was natural or magically added on. "Ezekiel mentioned brothers." He was about to suggest they get a closer spot when the someone else joined them. A fellow Gryffindor as well as transfer student. Amazingly enough, he hadn't met any of those. He guessed the radio between them and Hogwarts students didn't leave things in his favor. He smiled at the newcomer, hoping to come off as friendly. He figured he should make some friend in his house.
---
Bion nodded. He was a bit unnerved by Cassiopeia's sudden quietness, but he nodded. He didn't know much about the two and tried to think of anything they had in common. Quidditch, he knew Cass played, but her brother did not. Plus, she did seem busy with the toad, which seemed like an excuse to ignore him. Bion sighed. So much for the notorious Hufflepuff friendliness. Honestly, he should just move himself to Gryffindor, not that he has the spine for all of that. Their Quidditch team was questionable as well. Bion turned his attention on the twins. He was weak to silence and tried to fill it. "So, have you two heard anything about the event? What it is truly about and all of that."

》OOC《
》IC《 Julian looked at Victor with a large smile, happy to finally meet a friend of Ezekiel's. He'd been worried for the longest time that his brother was having trouble making friends, in his own house or in any of the others, due to his timid personality. "I'm glad I can finally meet a friend of Zeke's," he said cheerily. Then, hearing his voice be called, he looked over to spot his younger friend and returned her hug happily. "Nocawe! Good to see ya here!"
"Of course I'll introduce ya," Julian said, one arm around her shoulders in a friendly way as he pointed them out. He pointed at Ezekiel first, using his free hand to nudge his brother's shoulder. "That's Zeke, my brother. We don't look much alike, but we're triplets, I swear." He pointed at Victor next, still smiling. "And that guy is Victor, my brother's friend and a foreign exchange student."
Ezekiel felt rather uncomfortable with the sudden increase in people around him, talking to him or about and just generally wanting to socialize. Julian might have been his brother, and Nocawe might have seemed nice, but it was all a little overwhelming for him. In order to feel a little better about having to interact with so many people at once, Ezekiel stuck close to Victor, practically glueing himself to the other boy's side. He just wanted to see the magical creatures... He had both hands gripping onto one of Victor's arms gently, feeling awkward and out of place. "Can we get a closer spot, Vic?" He asked very quietly, keeping his voice down, but sounding rather hopeful. It was odd that Ezekiel was hiding behind Victor, considering the Ravenclaw was older than him.

"Nice to meet you." Victor said to Nocawe. He wasn't even going to attempt to say the girl's name. He knew when people tried to pronounce his last name, he wanted to roll his eyes. Mostly because he has no clue why anyone would want to try. People weren't going to call him by his last name. Luckily for him, his last name was the weird one. He couldn't imagine what it was like having a foreign first name.
He looked down at Zeke. While Victor felt more comfortable, this was obviously not in Zeke's comfort level. He looked at the two Gryffindors with a grin. "Well, see you around. We are going to go get the best seats in the house!" He said before turning. Victor hoped they wouldn't think he was rude for leaving them. Not that he much cared at the moment. He had decided this was Zeke's day, so they had to get some good spots. He easily looked over the crowd. "Come on." He said more happy and excited than rushing. He weaved through the crowd until they reached a spot a little to the side, but the sun would be out of their eyes. "Is this good?" he asked, looking at the other male.

Nocawe smiled at the others. She could sense that Zeke felt uncomfortable, so she tried to tone down her typical Gryffindor attitude slightly, and put up a softer expression. When Victor jumped straight over her name, she laughed ever so slightly. Not in a mean way, just because it was a funny reminder of how strange the situation really was. "You can call me Sunday", she grinned, before returning her gaze to Julian. She watched as the two boys went their own ways, and returned to her usual, playful grin that resembled Julian's uncannily. "Shall we?" she said, nodding at the crowd.

The Gemini Twins ;; Cassiopeia Maia Aten && Kale Pollux Aten
Cassiopeia didn't mean to be rude, easily distracted as always, and was wandering in her thoughts when Bion spoke up. She glanced to Kale first, then tilted her head, rubbing Castor's head in a way that made the little frog emit strange, small noises that could only be identified as purring. But frogs don't purr...do they?
"I heard that it's a demonstration of some sorts, like a fancy show and tell," she grinned excitedly, eyes sparking with interest. Kale smiled. "I heard if you write a paper on it, you get extra credit," he chuckled and Cass snorted, rolling her eyes. "Only you would be interested in that," she giggled and Kale shook his head, sighing faintly. "Of course, I'm going to help you with yours," and Cassiopeia grinned wider, flickering her warm gaze to Bion. "I'd be happy to show you mine, if you want in on some extra credit," she said, appraising the boy with a faint pink glow in her cheeks. He was rather handsome, broad shouldered and with beautiful eyes. Nice... she thought, absently, staring for a bit too long.

》OOC《
》IC《 Julian blinked as they suddenly disappeared into the crowd. He wasn't offended, but he was surprised-----Ezekiel wasn't usually so...awkward around him. "Oh. Well, see ya around, I guess," he called. Then, turning his attention back to Nocawe, he mimicked her grin and pumped his fists. "You bet I am! Let's go, I wanna see something awesome. Like, something that breathes fire or whatever." It would be so awesome for him if they had dragons, but he doubted a school event would be that cool. Still, though, a boy could dream. "I wanna see one of these creatures destroy a building or something. That would be awesome." However, he couldn't help but worry about Ezekiel. "I hope Zeke is okay. He isn't usually so...weird around me."
×××××××××
Ezekiel waved nervously at Nocawe and his brother, feeling a little bad for leaving them so suddenly. He was more worried about hurting the girl's feelings, though, than his brother's. "It was nice meeting you..." He said softly, then turned to follow Victor through the crowd. For once, he was thankful to have such an outgoing, sociable friend like Victor-----it made dealing with other people, and travelling through crowds, much easier than it would have been for Ezekiel to do on his own. He was grateful to have such a kind friend. Once Victor had stopped, Ezekiel took a moment to take in their surroundings and found himself smiling that little, shy smile of his. "This is a great spot. We'll be able to see everything from here, Im sure," he said, looking at Victor happily. "Thank you."

Victor grinned before sitting down. Once he sat, he felt like something was off. Some thing was wrong. Ithad been something bothering him since this morning when he had decided to come to the event. Now it was more than just an itch. The feeling pulled at him. The smile dropped off his face. He looked again into the trees, trying to spot other creatures and see if something was wrong. He saw a bright pink bird, Fwooper if he remembered correctly. If he was correct, which was admittedly rare with creatures, the Fwooper had a dangerous voice. The little thing didn't seem too pleased with being here and was sitting completely still. It opened it's beak a couple of times, but no noise came out. Victor sighed. One threat taken care of. Victor was about to check the rest for danger when a disillusionment charm was placed on the forest. Only trees now remained where there use to be animals. Victor looked around to see the Magical creatures teacher pointing her wand at the forest. He looked over at Zeke, "Well, that's a bummer." He forced a smile, but only one of the corners of his mouth twitched up.
---
Bion shook his head. He liked the offer and wouldn't mind working with Cass, but there was only one problem. "Not in the Magical creatures class." He explained with a smile threatening to break out, "I doubt my SoAR professor or Apparition professor is going to take a paper on magical creatures for extra credit. Though I would like to see their faces if I tried." He chuckled at the thought. He could already imagine the professor's huff if he tried to turn in the paper. His apparition teacher might take it, but he was doing well enough in that class. In truth, he didn't want to write a paper about the event. He didn't know or care enough about magical creatures. They were cool, yes, but nothing he wanted to spend time on.

》OOC《
》IC《 Ezekiel's brows bent in confusion as the creatures that had been previously visible faded into nothing more than trees. In one instant, they were there, and another they had gone. How very bizarre, the young Ravenclaw thought, sitting beside of Victor and scanning the area in front of them. It was more than a little disappointing to him-----he'd been so excited to see the many types of creatures they had brought, but it seemed as though that was no longer an option. "Rather disappointing," he agreed quietly, though he didn't smile. Instead, he was overcome by a strong, strange feeling, like something wasn't quite right. It was just a passing feeling at first, but as he tried to ignore it, the feeling only grew stronger. It was so strong, dark and ominous, that Ezekiel could hardly ignore it at all. His hand, which had shoved into his pocket, gripped his wand tightly. More out of fear than anything else, really. "Does something...feel off to you, Vic?" He asked softly, wanting to confirm if it was just his imagination or if, possibly, something was wrong after all.

The Gemini Twins ;; Cassiopeia Maia Aten && Kale Pollux Aten
Cassiopeia blinked at first, surprised that he turned down the offer. She was about to bactrack when he explained, and instead made her giggle at the thought herself. "I don't think they will," she giggled again, cheeks rosy once more. She decided she liked this boy, and was determined to hang out more with him this year. Why she hadn't before seemed ridiculous as he was so interesting and rather funny too. Not to mention, awfully cute.
Kale blinked, turning his dark eyes to the slightly shorter man. "Wait, so why are you going to the exhibition today? Just curious?" he asked, ignoring Cassiopeia's dirty look for him being so direct. It was almost rude, but his tone indicated he was just genuinely interested and meant no harm. He glanced up, pushing the doors to the outside open for them, patiently awaiting a response from Bion.

(Do you guys what to start the attack soon? The twins and Bion can come outside as the attack is starting.)
Victor shook his head. "Nope! You must be hungry or something. You're not sick are you?" He asked, trying to act innocent. He wished the feeling would go away and hoped ignoring it would achieve this. His wrong feelings were never wrong, but if there was a time for them to be wrong, this would be it. Something bad happening would ruin today. Ezekiel would be terribly upset if the event was ruined. Victor couldn't muster up a smile.
---
Bion smiled lightly. These two were nice to be around. They were more relaxed and toned down than his usual group. Not to mention, he would have to be blind not to notice how pretty Cass was. It was worse, and better, when she giggled. It was a nice sound. Which is why he tried to keep his eyes away from the female. He didn't want to be caught staring and then make things awkward. He was very glad, yet not at the same time, when Kale asked about the event. Bion shrugged and looked up at Kale. "Well, yeah. I didn't want to miss anything happening. If I didn't go, I would have to hear it from another person and that just isn't the same."

》IC《 A lie. Ezekiel could easily identify the lie in Victor's voice, although he didn't understand why he wasn't being honest. "...No," he answered softly, shaking his head. He wasn't sick, or hungry, or anything like that. Just worried and confused and very tired. Blinking at the trees in the far off distance, that ominous feeling was only beginning to grow worse. Then, in a much softer voice, he asked Victor again, "I'm serious, Vic, something doesn't feel right." He didn't know what it was, but it just felt like something horrible was about to happen. It might very well ruin his day, but he would rather be prepared for whatever could happen than ignore it.

[ i'm down ! c: ]
The Gemini Twins ;; Cassiopeia Maia Aten && Kale Pollux Aten
Cassiopeia glanced down, paying attention to Castor once more while the two were talking, thinking. Bion was about her age, and she was sure they had to have had some classes together. So why hadn't she ever talked to him before? She felt a slight twinge of guilt, scratching Castor and making the toad sing once more before looking up at Bion, eyes appraising him openly, for a moment. Okay, so definitely cute, nice build, and she realized that she'd been practicing Quidditch with him every day for a few years now. Okay, yeah, she definitely felt guilty.
She smiled however, at his response, nodding in agreement, hair bouncing wildly in sync with her head as they began to make their way across the grounds. Kale nodded as well, thinking for a moment. "Of course, if you ask Cass, she'd probably relay the whole thing to you, detail by detail," he teased in a way that was only a little bit genuinely annoyed. Cassiopeia frowned slightly, pushing her bottom lip out faintly. "Well, I happen to think all the details are important in exciting moments," she defended and Kale rolled his eyes, snorting slightly. "And I suppose every moment is an exciting and important moment to you?" he quirked an eyebrow upwards with a light smirk, and Cass scowled in response. "Yes, every moment is equally important. Otherwise, why would it happen-" she was cut off by Kale, who stopped suddenly, directly in her path. A frown crossed his face as he took in the scenery, eyes roving over the landscape rapidly, dark and unreadable.
That is, to anyone except Cassiopeia. "What's wrong?" she mumbled, stopping as well and moving slightly closer to her brother, handing him Castor before reaching for her wand, hesitating. She felt something was wrong as well, but she couldn't place her finger on it. Neither could Kale, although he was determined to, safety being of utmost importance in his eyes.

Victor opened his mouth to suggest they inform the teacher, but within seconds, there was no need. Victor first heard the skittering of tiny legs. Victor frowned and looked to the forest. He assumed it was one of the creatures, but he was proven wrong. Spiders burst forth from the forest. The spell to hide the creatures also hid the spiders. Victor cursed and scrambled to his feet. He wasn't scared of spiders normally, but these were up to his waist and had the largest pinchers he had ever seen. Their hairy legs were nothing to laugh at either. The teen quickly drew his wand. "Protego!" Victor threw up a shield between them and the spiders. One of the beasts hit the shield as it was charging forward. "We need to get back."
---
Bion did not sense a thing. He blinked at the twin's odd change of attitude. At first, he tensed, but didn't allow himself to worry. For being an admittedly cowardly person, he wasn't a real worrier. He was always more brave in a group. Feeling safe with the twins, he inched forward. The teen scanned the landscape. Nothing moved, except for the arriving students. Bion glanced at the two before looking away. He sighed and exited the castle. He figured the twins must have been nervous about nearing the forbidden forest. The dark woods did hide many dangerous creatures. However, Bion hadn't seen many things go beyond the border.
He was wrong. Screams erupted from the hill and students were fleeing towards the castle. Bion was inclined to follow. However, he was split. He didn't want to abandon the twins or have them see just how much he hated fighting. So, he looked back at the two and took out his wand. Worst comes to worst, he could follow and help with getting some back.

》OOC《
》IC《 Spiders. It just had to be spiders. Ezekiel would have done well against anything else, anything but spiders. He was beyond terrified of arachnids that just the sight of them turned his blood cold. Usually, he would be relatively alright as long as they didn't come near him, but these spiders were huge. They were gigantic and almost as tall as he was, with their huge fangs and hairy legs. Face pale and white as a ghost, Ezekiel could hardly nod as Victor spoke, staring at the forest. He seemed to have barely heard him at all, freezing up right on the spot, but somehow he managed to move. Clinging to Victor, he began to run, though perhaps not quick enough. Ezekiel felt something sharp poke his back and, panicking, felt as a cat-sized spider began to crawl its way up his back. Shrieking in fear-----which was probably the loudest sound the Ravenclaw had ever made-----Ezekiel tried to swat it off, though he couldn't quite reach. "Vic!" He cried, practically in tears, desperate to get it off. In his struggle, he'd forgotten all about the wand in his hand, especially as another spider, slightly smaller, began to skitter up his leg.

The Gemini Twins ;; Cassiopeia Maia Aten && Kale Pollux Aten As soon as the screams erupted, Cassiopeia's eyes seemed to ignite, hands pulling her hair quickly into a ponytail as she darted down the hill, pulling her wand free. She drew close to a small girl that was crying underneath a rather large spider. "Alarte Ascendare!' she shouted, blasting the spider several feet into the air as she swooped in, pulling the girl out of the way as the spider began to fall. The girl began to bolt for the castle as Cass darted, a little unsuccessfully out of the way of the spider, that had managed to land on its legs and was angrier than ever. It latched onto her robes and pulled, earning a shriek from her as she fell, which sent Kale practically flying after her.
"Arania Exumai!" he spoke softly, but firmly, eyes dark and unreadable as the spider was blasted off his sister. She got to her feet, shakily, dusting herself off and nodding to him, bounding off and freeing other students with the same spell he had used, pushing them up towards Bion and the castle. The twins worked fast, back to back, but there were so many spiders, it didn't seem possible to get them all. "Cass, we need to go!" Kale shouted now, over the din, spells flying everywhere. "Kale, we can't just leave them!" she shouted back, firing more aggressively now, hair starting to pull free from her hair tie. "We don't have a choice! There's too many, and most everyone has retreated. Please, Cass!" he begged, and she shook her head adamantly. "No, we have to help whoever's left!" she shouted, pushing further in, and Kale frowned, starting to pull back. He could always force her to come, with a spell or something, but she probably wouldn't speak to him for at least three days. He continued to fight, less aggressive than her, however, pulling back further as he did, eyes cool and calculating as he tried to figure if there was any chance to beat them.

Sorry for the long time in between posts. I was hoping dragoness would have a chance to get on. )
Victor stumbled as he ran up the hill. He wasn't any kind of athletic student, but even a quidditch player wouldn't be able to make their way up the hill quickly. Too many panicked students and skittering spiders criss-crossed the hill. It was pure chaos and Victor struggled not to give in. He could hear his heavy breath and sweat slowly rolling down his face as he looked around. He tried his best to put protective barriers on others and stun the spiders, but the spiders outnumbered the students. With his attention drawn to others, he didn't pay attention to the two of them. His protection spell wavered as his energy was sapped away at each spell.
He cursed under his breath as he felt Zeke's grip loosen. He spun around and almost froze. Panic gripped his head as he watched the spider overtake his friend. He didn't think of any spells. he didn't have the time. Instead, he delivered a swift kick to the spider and pulled up Zeke. He shoved the Ravenclaw forward. "Go! Go! Go!" He urged. He stunned the attacking spider before running up the hill.

Bion decided against joining the fray. He wasn't great at working under pressure in fighting situations. The names of spells slipped his mind when faced with anything dangerous. As much as he hated it, he would only get in the way in a fight. The student decided his time was better spent healing and helping others in the castle. Many only had scratches from falling or bumping into other students. A few were more serious, but nothing dangerous or something he couldn't handle. There wasn't much, but he managed to keep himself busy trying to calm the others. The first years and some second years were in tears. Bion did his best to joke around with them. He mostly talked about how many times he had fallen off his broom and all the scars he had. "At least you'll have a cool story to go along with your wounds." He joked. He tried to keep a smile on until the others smiled.
Of course, the spiders couldn't get past the wards placed in the castle interior, but the students and, if he had to admit it, Bion was worried about them coming in. Worry grew as the twins didn't appear. His wand grip caused his knuckles to turn white as he approached the field. "It's time to get back. The teachers are coming." He called, not even two feet away from the castle.

》》 OOC 《《 It's okay, don't worry.
》》 IC 《《 Ezekiel felt the crushing weight of his panic lessen a bit as Victor swiftly kicked the spiders away. He stumbled back to his feet, not sparing a moment before he dashed quickly after his friend. Whether he played quidditch or not, Ezekiel was not a physically skilled person. He was neither fast nor strong; he was rather average in both areas, perhaps a bit below average in terms of strength. It hadn't ever really mattered before-----it hadn't ever held him back. Not in his studies or hobbies and seldom did it hinder his quidditch playing. In this case, it was a serious flaw and weakness that the spiders seemed to take advantage of.
Panting harshly and sweating as they maneuvered their way through students and spiders, all mingled together, Ezekiel was relieved to see that they were close to the school's entrance. Just a little further and they would be safe... Just a little further, he told himself...
Ezekiel wasn't able to go any further. He was knocked to the ground by a heavy object slamming into him, causing him to hit the ground hard enough to force the air from his lungs. Ezekiel could feel multiple legs crawling over him, pining him down. Something long and sharp pierced through the fabric of his shirt, directly across his right side-----the fangs of a great, massive arachnid. The pain came first, sharp and agonizing, and was soon followed by a strong sense of fear. Ezekiel wasn't a fighter and it showed in the way the panic hit him, forcing a half sob and half whimper from the Ravenclaw boy. All spells, all lessons dealing with threats and dangers, vanished from his mind; it was a miracle he remembered how to breathe and he could hardly do that through his crying. The spider picked Ezekiel up, fangs buried in his side, and shook him violently.

[ it's all good dear! ]
The Gemini Twins ;; Cassiopeia Maia Aten && Kale Pollux Aten
Cassiopeia ignored Kale as he continued to plead with her, instead, delving further down. Kale frowned, but knew there was no arguing with her, turning and heading back up. He pushed through the mass of spiders easily, incantations flying freely off him as he pushed his way through the throng upwards. He stumbled into Bion, smiling in relief at the familiar face.
"Glad to see you! Cass is still down there," he shouted, turning and firing another incantation. He looked around and found that he could no longer see his sister, but he knew she was there. He began to panic, grabbing Bion's arm lightly and pulling the boy up the hill a little further. "Do you see her?!" he asked, releasing his arm quickly and standing on his tiptoes. I mean, the girl was 5'9". Where on earth could she hide?
Cassiopeia was deep in spider territory, determined to pull anyone out that was left. She passed a Ravenclaw boy, one she vaguely recognized as Ethan or Ezekial or something like that, and she moved towards him, wand raised and spell on her lips when she was attacked suddenly from behind. She let out a bloodcurdling scream, fangs sinking into her shoulder and neck as she dropped down, shaking slightly, wand having fallen in the attack. She punched and kicked, freeing herself, crimson blossoming in her blouse as she kicked, pulling herself to her wand with her good arm when the spider latched on her leg with another cry of pain from her.
Kale was pacing now, eyes darker than ever as the scream filled the air. "CASS! CASSIOPEIA!" he screamed, cupping his hands around his mouth, panic increasing as she was blocked from view by the spider. Where was she?

Victor side stepped in just enough time. The spider leapt past him and tumbled to the ground. He didn't wait around to see if it would get up. Due to Victor's uncanny ability to predict attacks, he hadn't yet been taken down. Sure, he had more bites from the tiny ones than he could count, but he remand standing. He doubted for long. Victor was exhausted. His wand grip was now loose and his breath was ragged. His mind was sluggishly trying to figure out which way to turn and walk. He could barely summon the energy to move. That was until he heard Zeke's cry. He looked around, trying to focus and actually register what was happen. A shot of pure adrenaline coursed through him when he saw his friend shaken by one of the arachnids. He searched for any ounce of energy he had left and summoned it up into a bundle. "Arania Exumai." He whispered, not having the strength to raise his voice. If the spell worked, the spider would be blasted away. If not, well, Victor didn't want to think about that.
---
Bion might hate or even fear fighting, but he wouldn't let another die. The hufflepuff exited the castle and ran for the battlefield. "This way!" He shouted, spotting Cass's trademarked hair. Running towards Cass was probably one of Bion's most foolish ideas. He flinched as a spider dashed toward him. For a moment, he was frozen. He tried to think of a spell, any spell. Yet, nothing would come to him. The two collided and both rolled down the hill. Bion could feel small, stinging cuts cross his arms as he tried to fight off the spider. They landed in a heap at the bottom. His eyes watered as the spider's large body crushed his. Still in a daze, Bion dislodged himself from the spider with some a strong push. He groaned as he started up the hill again. His legs were wobbly and he still felt a little disorientated, but he did his best to climb the hill. "Cass?" He called, trying to locate the twin. By now, who knows what happened to the girl. Shame rose when he thought about her being hurt just because he couldn't fight. He cursed under his breath and called again, "Cass?!"
