yeah. Saves a lot of time that way. I think I'll give them until Monday to come back. Some people may be more busy on Sunday. I think it would be okay if we start while we wait though. We don't have to jump into the plot, but we can have some hints. cιnnaмon roll Moonshade sweetclover1 Salted Squid Just tell me want you want to do! It's totally okay if you want to leave. Yeah, it's probably a good idea to wait for some of the others. I wouldn't mind starting over-ish, but I would be happy if I didn't have to reconnect with the characters my characters have become friends with, if you get what I mean? So we could like continue as if that had already happened.)

Fair enough. It would be easier to get the plot moving if we go into the year and have our characters know each other, at least a little.
I want thinking on how to start this up again. Perphaps there can be a demonstration of another school's native creature near the forbidden forest, but then spiders or something else attacks the group. ))

I'm just going to post a couple of starters then. )
Emily was a lucky Head girl who received the 'honor' of working with the care for magical creatures teacher and coordinate the event. She was fine with the latter. It was the easiest task. However, it was the teacher who was the problem. Emily, like most students, shrunk under the critical eye of Professor Angelina. Professor Angelina towered over most students, being about six feet tall, and had sharp brown eyes. The women never missed a thing. The teacher managed to find a flaw in anything anyone did. Only a couple of students were on her 'don't shout at' list and Emily, who had never taken her class, wasn't on that list. It was a stressful hour of setting up for the quiet seventh year. She would move the creatures too close then too far. She took too long setting up one or didn't do it properly. Eventually, she was sent to 'get out of the way'. The headgirl sat on the hill with a long sigh. She looked at the foot of the hill as the professor set the final touches. She pulled out a small sweet bun from breakfast and started to eat. After the morning stress and trying to move everything, she needed something to calm her. The delicious pastries had appeared along with the transfer students, yet she hadn't figured out which place it was from.
---
Bion wasn't sure until the last moment if he would go to the event. The event sounded a little plain. He didn't think it would be too interesting, especially when they probably wouldn't be allowed to touch the creatures. An animal being paraded around didn't exactly sound interesting. Honestly, he would be more excited about quidditch. He heard some rumors that the kids from Russia flew on trees for the sport. Now, that would be a sight to see. He almost considered becoming a transfer student himself. It would be more interesting than seeing a little, fuzzy animal. He told himself the real reason he was walking through the castle towards the event is because he would hate to be out of the loop. Something amazing could happen, as unlikely as it was, and he would have to try to ask people about it. From his experiences, the story has a million different versions by the time he heard it. He wanted to be there.
---
Victor was lost, again. He had thought he was headed outside, but instead, he was stuck in who-knows-where. By the lack of windows, he was in the bowels of the castles. Victor ran his hand through his electric blue hair. He was going to be late if he kept this up. He knew he shouldn't get lost. After all, it had nearly been a month since coming to this ancient, confusing school. It was just difficult with the moving staircases. Nod off for one second and then he was moving away. When this happened, he figured he could find a way around. Now he was in one of the corridors without a clue of his location. Victor promised himself if he escaped the maize, he would find himself a map. He would attempt it himself, but he couldn't map to save his life. "Hello?" He called. He would take a three headed dog at this point if it meant he saw something different than silent, stone walls.

》OOC《
》IC《 "...Hello," a soft voice called back to Victor, more shy than friendly, but still rather polite. It echoed and bounced off the stone walls, despite how quiet it was. However, only a minute or so passed, and Ezekiel rounded a corner. His clothes and hair were decidedly rumpled and ruffled, dark circles beneath his eyes, which were more foggy than anything else. He hadn't, admittedly, been sleeping well at all and, just maybe, might have gotten turned around himself. Maybe, though he would never admit it. The Ravenclaw boy gazed up at Victor, confused and a little amused. "Are you lost, Victor?" He asked his friend kindly, not so concerned about being late. They might be late anyway, so there was no point in stressing and rushing, only to be late and wear themselves out. Zeke was tired enough as it was, he really didn't feel like running across all of Hogwarts at the moment. Or at any moment. He got enough exercise during Quidditch practice, thank you.

"Hello!" Victor cried. He recognized the voice almost immediately as his friend/tutor. Admittedly, his voice, only amplified by the stone, was loud, but the student didn't care. He was just happy to be saved and to be with someone. He rushed forward with a large grin. "Oh, yes a bit. You see the staircases..." He started the conversation by waving his hand around, which was suppose to be the staircases. However, once the light reached Zeke's face, he trailed off and his hand movements stopped. His hand dropped and his grin was replaced with furrowed brows and a small frown. "You look awful. What happened?" Victor blurted off, concern evident in his voice. The male didn't like the bags under his friend's eyes or the general state of roughness. For the quiet boy to be in this state, it worried Victor.

The Gemini Twins ;; Cassiopeia Maia Aten && Kale Pollux Aten
"I told you he would be down here! And you said 'feelings' were just nonsense!" Cassiopeia's voice rang out, echoing down the hallways as she and Kale began to make their way up from the bowels of the castle. "I didn't say 'feelings' were nonsense, just yours. Especially concerning the location of Castor. How on earth could he have gotten down here from all the way up in my dormitory, hmm?" he questioned, quirking one eyebrow upwards. Cassiopeia scuffed her shoe lightly against the cool floor. "I, uh, don't follow ya," she lied, cleaning her throat as Kale's gaze narrowed.
"You know perfectly well what I mean, and the next time I catch you missing Castor I'm gonna-" "Hey! If we don't hurry up, we're gonna be late," Cassiopeia interrupted, grinning cheekily up at her brother. "I'll race ya," she teased and took off, heading up the stairs two or three at a time, Kale hot on her tail. They reached the middle level, and Cass was winning, so she, of course, turned to gloat. That's when she slammed into something.
Well, rather, someone.
Cassiopeia gave a surprised shriek, toppling forwards and over the person, landing squarely on top. She gasped, the breath knocked out of her as she stared down ward at a familiar face. "Oh, hey Bion!" She greeted enthusiastically, pulling back quickly as Kale arrived, helping her off him first and then stretching a hand down to help the Hufflepuff boy up. "Cassiopeia, you really ought to watch where you're going," he scolded, grinning easily at Bion. "I'm sorry, really! I usually try to avoid hitting people that aren't my annoying brother here," she laughed, slightly breathless still, face red and smile wide. "Anyway, are you okay? I hit you pretty hard," she laughed nervously, straightening her robes and pushing her wild mane of hair over her shoulder, thoroughly disheveled and embarrassed.

》IC《 Ezekiel lifted an hand to rub at one of his eyes as he watched Victor rush toward him happily. The concern was a little surprising and it made him blink, and for once, it was actually much appreciated. Knowing that his friend, or student or whatever he was, really, cared enough about him to ask was rather touching. "Oh, I'm fine," he reassured him, holding up his hands and waving them slightly. "Thank you. I'm a little...tired." Well, more than a little, but he didn't want to make Victor worry too much-----the boy must have had better things to deal with than Ezekiel's health. Besides, it was only one bad night and it wasn't that serious. Just one bad night a sleep was all it was. Ezekiel thought it might be a good idea to get going, though, so he put his hand on Victor's elbow gently. "I should make you a map sometime..."

Ah. These thing happen. )
Bion grunted as someone slammed into him. He stumbled back, but by some miracle, managed to stay upright. he would give this victory to the years of quidditch practice. As for his 'attacker', He gave an annoyed expression, before realizing who had bumped into him. He blinked before quickly relaxing his face into less of a scowl. The girl was apart of his year and house, but she did have a difficult name to pronounce and remember. The Ravenclaw had said it just two seconds ago and it didn't stick in his mind. It was something similar to Cass, right? That's what he had nicknamed her in his head. His eyes flicked over to the brother. The boy with her had to be her twin. Name unknown. He really had to start to pay attention during classes. Bion realized he had been quiet for too long. He smiled, trying to see unfazed. "Nah, I'm fine. A little bump isn't going to hurt anything." he brushed off his robes, even through they didn't have a speck of dust on them. He then looked up, eyes moving between the two siblings. "Are you two going to the event?" He asked. He would be glad to walk with other people. As far as he knew, his friends had opted out of the event in favor for more sleep. He certainly didn't want to sit alone.
---
Doubt crossed over Victor's face, before it disappeared. If Zeke said he was fine, he was fine. Victor assumed the Ravenclaw had spent another night with a book. At least they were getting today off. There wouldn't be anything too tiring at a showcase for creatures. Well, maybe Ezekiel would get excited to see the exotic creatures, but that was good. Victor grinned. "Really, they should hand out those things. Just imagine how much time people would save if they didn't have to come fetch first years and me from the dungeons every other class." He joked, moving back into his usual cheerful mood. "But for now, you will have to be my map. Where are we going?" he looked around as if there were going to be lights or signs.

》OOC《
》IC《 Ezekiel wondered why teachers didn't hand out maps to students, especially first years and exchange students, who wouldn't understand right off the bat what the layout of the school was like or even where there classes might be. It would have been the most logical step to ensure that all students could not only find their way, but also make it to class on time and not miss out on any wonderful lectures, lessons, or the crucial information they needed to be successful in life. Zeke for one loved to and disliked being late, because it meant he would miss out on the knowledge being shared with the class. Changing thoughts, he mapped out in his head where they were actually supposed to be going to for the event. "This way," he replied, hand still on Victor's elbow, guiding him gently as he lead them out of the dark bowels. The halls grew lighter as he took Victor up the stairs, then down another hall.
Ezekiel hadn't really shown it, but he was extremely and most definitely excited for this little event the school was setting up. Victor knew well how much he liked magical creatures-----he'd quietly, but happily discussed his love for them at their last study lesson, when he'd heard of the upcoming event. Now that the day had actually come, he was so happy, regardless of how tired he was. "Do you think they'll let us pet them? Or hold them?" He asked timidly, though he was unable to hide his joy. He knew they probably wouldn't, in order to keep students safe, but he could at least hope.

Victor tried to be quiet. He knew Ezekiel wasn't much of a talker and didn't want to bother his only potential friend. Well, he knew others, but none were as close as the quiet Ravenclaw. He didn't nearly spend as much time with his housemates. It made him feel a bit disappointed, as he did want to experience the interhouse pride and such, but he liked Ezekiel more than his mostly bullheaded housemates. So much time in silence caused Victor to fidget. Instead of humming or walking faster, he looked at the walls as he was led. To his delight, the walls started to brighten. They didn't look more familiar, but the pair was out of the dark, damp halls. Oh, to see a window again. Another grin split his face That was good enough for him. He started to walk faster, forgetting about his long strides. He did slow down at the sound of Ezekiel's voice. "I'm not sure. I hope so. I actually don't know what they are going to show us. Do you?" He figured an event so closer to Ezekiel's interest would mean the other teen would know everything about the event. From how long and how enthusiastically Ezekiel spoke last tutoring session, Victor almost wondered if there had been some spying or eavesdropping going on. "We might e able to make it if we go now." He said, hearing the toll of the clock.
