{Seriously, don't worry about it. Most everybody has a life outside of the forums, so no one can actually be on all the time. And you can't help the fact that your laptop broke either}

Kellan looked over at Sidney and said,"You can stay. I normally don't stay here too long anyway. I just come to get my frustration out before I go home." He sent a small smile towards her before saying,"Thanks about the compliment, by the way. I don't normally open up like that to many people so that means a lot, whether you realize it or not." He continued to play the opening chords for another song that showed why he liked music. "Here's another song that shows why I like music." With that, he started singing Bleed by Hot Chelle Rae, and when he finished, he let the last chord ring out a while before cutting it off. He bit his lip and shook his leg slightly in anticipation of what Sidney would say. Sidney found herself in a semi-trance state as he began to play the next song. Ohhh my goodness. Yup, definitely crushing. Hard. Although she had so much to say, all she could manage to do was clear her throat and say, "That was um.. nice." Why was he so freaking cute when he bit his lip like that. Calm yourself, Syd. Just breathe.. and.. "Do you, maybe, want to get some coffee or something?" What?
Sidney didn't drink coffee. She liked to sip hot chocolate and put cute lil marshmallows on it and maybe some whip cream if she was feeling zazzy one day. But coffee? What was she doing, exactly? "Or, yanno, just hangout? There's a party tonight at this kid named Sorren's house and.. who better to take me, I guess, right?" She laughed, half-nervous-half-shocked at her sudden courage to ask. She didn't know how she'd even bring up the subject, but apparently there wasn't much more time to ask before she would have to go get ready anyways. She looked up to meet his gaze, and in a more neutral, nonchalant tone she added, "Or, yanno, neither. I heard there was a pool though. That could be fun." At this point she looked down at her hand, which she'd unconsciously placed on his thigh. She went to take it off of him and let it sit on her own, hoping he hadn't noticed how close they now were.Kellan glanced down at her hand as she took it off his thigh, and a light pink tinted his cheeks at this point as he cleared his throat. He was obviously caught off guard as he said,"Oh-uhm. Sorren's party? Yeah. I was planning on going anyway. My friend Brooklyn had mentioned something to me about it. We could go there and hang. D-do you want me to pick you up or what?" He didn't know what he should do as he had never gone on a date, nor had he been asked or anything. He was a lame senior, and he knew it. He blinked out of his thoughts and played a random riff that was in his head, but he didn't focus on the riff too hard to identify what he was playing.

Lol. It's chill. If you want, you can post a starter, and I'll reply when I can. ) {Ok this probably sucks sorry} While Dmitri liked silence at times, liked being able to sit and rest, he also enjoyed having background noise. It didn't matter what it was--school, music, the tv--he just liked having something to listen to while doing other things. When he couldn't stand the silence, he often found himself wandering just to have something going on while he did homework or worked on sheet music. He usually sat outside when he was working on music, but when he was doing homework, he tended to leave the TV on. At school, Dmitri usually found himself sitting in the choir room in his free time. He was friendly enough with the other kids, but mostly it was nice to listen to them practice. He liked singing and listening to people sing and rehearse. People were often in and out of the choir room at all times in between classes, so it was a nice place to hang around in. Sometimes he also found himself wandering between all of the music classrooms before and after school and during lunch. He was able to have the drama kids rehearsing their lines or the orchestra kids tuning their instruments in the background while he leaned against the wall and worked on something else. It was nice to just listen at times. Dmitri was once again wandering between music classrooms. It wasn't odd for people to see him lingering around, and after spending freshman year sitting outside classrooms a lot, it was starting to become a somewhat normal thing. A fair few people were usually around anyway, so he was pretty much just another face. Coming to a decision, Dmitri sat just outside of the band room. He could hear a few people, as always, rehearsing one thing or another, so he let them wash over him as he got out some homework to do. It wasn't like he had anywhere else to be. Matt had been talking to a teacher about earning some extra credit since he liked to be an overachiever in academics, and he wanted to practice his clarinet in the band room before going home to bad acoustics in his room. He was carrying his clarinet case and had his booksack slung over his shoulder as he strode up to the band room, humming one of the band tunes. He noticed Dmitri sitting there, and he paused outside of the room entrance, looking at the kid. After a few moments, he said,"Ya know. It's better listening if you're in the band room." The young, usually called 'emo', kid recognized Dmitri from his clique, so he had decided to reach out to him. "If you're interested in learning an instrument, I could probably help with that, too... If you wanted, of course. Not trying to force anything on ya." He readjusted his booksack before switching his clarinet to his other hand as he stared down at Dmitri. (Btw, I'm starting a Collection on WeHeartIt for all of my LHS charries. xD I have most of my charries' face claims up besides Kamilla's because I changed her hair color, and I haven't been able to find a new pic for her yet due to being busy. )

{I haven't really been on all day so no worries lol. And that's cool haha}
"H-huh?" Dmitri looked up, blinking in surprise. "Oh, sorry. I wouldn't want to be a bother. Er, I mean, I didn't and wouldn't... Umm..." He shook his head a bit. He really wasn't the best with words when caught off guard. Or on guard. Or ever really. He was pretty bad with words in general, unless he managed to talk about his music or something at any time. He was also pretty steady when he was singing too. "L-let me try that again," he said. "I didn't want to bother anyone by sitting in the band room. It was just nice listening. I'm sure I'll just mess up with the whole, um, instrument thing, so I think I'm going to stick with singing for now. Um, thanks for the offer though. I-I think..." He tilted his head up at him, squinting a bit. He was really bad with faces, but he felt like this boy was familiar. He only really remembered the names of those in choir with him. Obviously, they were in the same social circle, so he had likely met him before; he just couldn't remember where. He was kind of intimidating, if Dmitri were to be completely honest.

Even as he said that, the image and the attitude he was portraying were quite contradicting. Here he was, in black ripped skinny jeans with a holed up All Time Low black tank top with black Vans and his black lip ring, but he wasn't being rude or anything, he was being nice, AND he was holding a classical instrument about to go into the band room. The band room that contained wind instruments and not one where the instruments there were rock instruments(even though he could play those instruments, too). "Oh, I'm Matt. I'm not sure if you know me or not since we're in the same clique but have never really talked. You are...?" He paused for a minute before continuing,"If you would like, you could come listen to me. If you change your mind about the instrument thing, you know where to find me." He gave Dmitri a wide grin and said,"Oh, and I'm sure you have a good singing voice. Maybe you could sing along with my music. It wouldn't be the first time one sang along with my clarinet playing." He chuckled lightly and rubbed the back of his neck as he waited for the other male to answer.

{Ahh your characters are attractive, haha}
Dmitri blinked, looking a bit incredulous considering his outer appearance. He immediately berated himself internally, knowing that he shouldn't judge others based on appearance. Still, it was a bit strange. He was... probably nice though, considering he was actually bothering to talk to him and not shake his head at Dmitri's strange habits. He did know the band was pretty nice, though he rarely ever talked to any of them one-on-one. Whenever he did actually stay in the band room, he usually sat quietly in the back where no one tended to bother him. "O-oh, I'm Dmitri. Nice to meet you," he said when prompted. "I don't think I've ever sung with someone playing an instrument before. That could be fun. It's usually just someone playing piano..." It was a somewhat exciting idea. He smiled a bit. He liked experiencing new things, despite being a little too much of a coward to actually do any of it. He wanted to try his hand at singing while someone was playing something beside him. Pianos were fine, but he was too used to someone playing piano. A clarinet was definitely something different, at any rate.

"I'd love it if you came with me." Her voice was soft, yet held above a whisper. She pulled out a small slip of paper with her number on it and folded it in half, but didn't give it to him until after she'd kissed the blank side of the note with her freshly glossed lips. "Pick me up at 8?" she asked with a flash of excitement through her eyes. Contrasting from her gaze, her lips were set at a neutral position and her exit out of the room was perfectly executed- simple, but with a touch of mystery as her shadow slipped from the room.

Lani actually seemed to get a bit more visibly excited at that. It was easier to talk when they found common ground, and this was definitely something she could talk about. She didn't even seem to realize the sudden change in her expressions. "Oh, really? I love DC Comics! Mostly Batman stuff, though I do pay attention to pretty much everything DC. Everybody seems to like Marvel, which I never really got, but whatever. To each their own. It's just not my thing and DC is just so much more interesting to me." She took a deep breath, stopping herself there. She could honestly talk about DC all day--had spent multiple days at a time talking about it before--but that wasn't what they had originally been discussing. "Anyway, Spiderman is probably the one Marvel franchise... whatever that I actually pay attention to, so I'm really glad that they did such a great job with the film. I'm so glad that they actually chose an actor that could pass as a teenager and they actually had Peter acting like one. I don't think the other films spent quite as much time diving into that part of Peter's character, and his whole thing is that he is a teenager, thrust into this whole new life and I think it's really great that they explored that. On a completely different note, I loved Zendaya's character and I related to her a lot." She wondered if she was babbling a bit too much, but her mind was going through a bunch of different things at once now. Mostly, it pertained to the movie and everything she wanted to gush about that she had already gone over with other people.
Mick's gaze was full of surprise toward her love for DC comics. No. Frickin'. Way. This girl was hot. "You're just about the dorkiest yet coolest person I've ever met. Can that even be a thing?" He laughed at the ridiculousness of it all but allowed himself to fade back into a casual expression as she moved back onto the topic of the Spiderman franchise. He raised a brow toward her as he asked, "Did you know that they're now dating? Zendaya and Tom, I mean. It's crazy, to think that two really good friends who happen to become costars in a major motion film were actually keeping such a huge secret on the DL." He made a mental note to ask this girl out at the end of the night when he thought the moment was right. Although he wasn't really one for secrecy himself, he was definitely beginning to hide his small crush on the girl.
As they made their way back to his car, he opened the door for her with a friendly gesture and walked around the front of the car over to his side. He hopped in and shut the door behind him, but frowned. "I better not drive," he pointed out a bit disappointedly. He held his hand out that held the keys to the car, and a devilish grin had now spread across his face. "Wanna drive?"

{I've been on and off the past couple of days, eheheh.... @ sum Ok, I can wait! @ queen Welcome back!
Wow Mick, that was fast. Lani's a bit of work and totally oblivious LOL}
"Oh, I think I heard about that!" Lani said, snapping her fingers. "I thought that was just a rumor. I didn't take the time to actually look it up. All I know was that Tom said something about crushing on her in an interview or something. His first celebrity crush, maybe? I don't know, but I think they'd be cute. They make sense at any rate, and MJ and Peter are already like, a thing in the movies already. The look MJ gave Peter at the end of Spiderman was just--" She cut herself off, apparently unable to find any words to describe her feelings. Instead, she gestured a bit. As always, words seemed to fail her for just about everything, but particularly when she was busy thinking about something she was actually interested in. It usually left her thinking less about grammar and more about the topic.
She got into the car, then raised an eyebrow as he realized he shouldn't drive. She huffed out a breath of laughter and her lips quirked upwards in an amused smirk. "Wow. I don't even know where you were planning on taking me, but I'd be happy to drive. So long as you don't mind me going fast, but I feel like you don't care about that." She had a small issue that involved breaking speed limits, which was partially why she didn't drive often. She was an impatient person, which had somehow transferred into her hating moving slowly.

He just wanted to practice his music, and if he needed to play outside, he would. The emo kid glanced around, biting his lip as he got enveloped in his thoughts before blinking out of them. He wasn't used to people singing along with him, but he could get used to it. Just like he got used to other wind instruments and the percussion playing along with him. He ran a hand through his hair and glanced back down at Dmitri.

{idk if you wanted to skip or what but sorry this post is so short. I'll be on later today, but tonight I'm switching to at&t for my phone plan so hopefully I can save some extra bucks for the new laptop} Kellan just watched as she left, his cheeks turning a deep shade of pink. He blinked and slid the piece of paper into his pocket as he placed the guitar back, and he grabbed his leather jacket as he rushed out of the school. He slid on the jacket and zipped it up as he rushed to his bike in the parking lot before sliding his black helmet with a dark tinted visor blocking his face. He got the bike started and raced out of the parking lot and pulled up in his driveway. He dismounted in the garage and placed his helmet on his bike seat. He knew he would have to borrow his mom's car to pick up Sidney, so he went inside and started to look through his phone.
His heart stopped as he saw that Chester Bennington had committed suicide. He rushed to his room and closed his door, locking it for some reason before blaring Linkin Park music. He kept looking through the reports, and his breathing picked up as he found more and more reports about it. He let out a yell and threw his phone onto his bed before making a mess of his room, still having some sense not to break valuables.
Little did Kellan know that his siblings had come home and were now downstairs, scared of the racket going on. Kevin, Kellan's only brother, got out his phone and called Kendra, their older sister. He said,"Kendra, you need to get here fast. Kellan is acting up."
Kendra had already known about Chester's death and was on her way. "Really now? I'm on my way."
"How did you know?"
"Uhm... Sister's intuition."
She hung up and drove quickly to the house. She had moved out and to an apartment near her college, so she didn't live with her family anymore. When she arrived, she parked and ran out of the car, barely remembering to lock it. She rushed into the house and looked at Kevin trying to comfort a crying Kembrelle. Kendra nodded at Kevin and rushed up the stairs, knocking on Kellan's door frantically as she tried to open the door. Locked. That only made her more concerned- added with the now silence coming from his room. Besides the Linkin Park music, of course. She reached up over the door and grabbed the key from the doorway before unlocking his door and opening it.
The sight she saw was upsetting. Books and sheets were thrown about his room, and Kellan himself was curled into a ball in the corner of his room, shaking, crying, and having his hands into his hair, pulling slightly at it. She rushed over and hugged her distraught brother. It was clear he was having a breakdown, and she couldn't do much but be there for him and let him cry in her shoulder until he was calm.
Kellan slowly calmed down, and he sniffed before remembering the party. "I-I've got a party to go to tonight."
Kendra said,"Well, let's get you cleaned up then."
Kellan sniffed again and let Kendra lead him around and get him cleaned up. There was a hollow look in his eyes as Kendra helped him clean his face and picked out some clothes for him while he tried to fix his hair. She picked out the least ripped jeans he had and a loose Linkin Park shirt. She left the room to let him change and when she returned, Kellan was quietly looking out the window, lost in his thoughts. She walked up to him and loosely grabbed his hand, leading him back to the bathroom so that she could fix his hair better.
By the time they were done, it was nearing 7:30. Kellan dug in his other pair of pants and grabbed Sidney's number before putting it in his phone to send her text while he waited.
Hi. It's Kellan. Just wanted to let you know I'm not a creeper who has your number.

Mick shook his head in an attempt to hide his amusement from Lani. In truth, he didn't particularly care too much if she drove the speed limit or not, so long as he wouldn't be the one responsible for crashing the care and paying for a DUI. He was a bit too excited when he tossed her the keys and hopped out of the car from his side to move over to the passenger seat. "Yup. Definitely not driving," he said with a small laugh. "Don't worry about where we're going. Just drive out of the neighborhood and I'll give you directions." He grunted as a small headache began to form near his temples. It was just a pattern of some sort that Mick would always say what was on his mind when he had a bit of it washed in his system. Hopefully it wouldn't get him in trouble later tonight with Lani (*queue my evil laugh* shall they go down to the secret beach that they went to in our 1x1? :,) }{Poor Mick lol. And YES let's do that} Lani smiled in amusement, a bit looser with showing emotion now that they had found common ground and she had been able to talk about it. Being able to get excited about something did a lot for how she acted. She got out of the car and proceeded to switch seats with him. They probably should have thought about this earlier, but she hadn't expected that they would come back to the car. She had expected to be a wallflower for an hour and then call her brother to go home. "Of course you're thirsty," she scoffed playfully. "Alcohol isn't exactly hydrating." She started the car and started driving out of the neighborhood. She started at a normal pace to get out of the neighborhood, but quickly started going faster once there was less of a risk that she would accidentally drive into somebody's house. "If I wasn't driving, I'd probably get awfully suspicious of being told not to worry about where we're going." She still had a playful tone to her voice, light and easy rather than blunt. It was easy to see she was more relaxed now, as well as entertained.

{Ahh your characters are attractive, haha} Dmitri blinked, looking a bit incredulous considering his outer appearance. Matt smiled. "Nice to meet you, Dmitri." He shifted and held his hand out for Dmitri to shake. After a moment, he said,"Well, do you want me to play out here, or do you want to come inside?" He honestly didn't care where he played. Dmitri smiled hesitantly back at him and shook his hand. "Um, inside is probably better. Less--less people, y'know?" It was a lot less nerve-wracking too. He didn't normally sing in front of people, at least not individually. He could sing with the rest of the choir just fine. As reluctant as he was to let someone hear him, he did like music and new opportunities. He was happy to use this opportunity, and it was better if there weren't people around too. And he knew from eavesdropping on other people that it could get a little annoying if people played outside of the classrooms. He, personally, didn't mind, but he didn't want to bother others. He put his things back into his bag and stood, dusting off the imaginary dust on his jeans. He hitched his backpack over his shoulders and waited for Matt to lead the way inside.

Matt nodded and said," Alright. There's no need to be nervous. I'm not gonna judge. Besides, if you mess up, it's chill. I'll probably mess up my music since it's new and all that." He opened the door to the band room and let Dmitri walk in before he walked in himself. He walked into the main hall and waved at some people who called his name before turning into a small room. He glanced behind him to make sure Dmitri was following, and he said,"Close the door after you enter, please." He looked back in front of him in a downward angle as he dropped his bag by the wall and grabbed his music folder out of his bag. He placed it on the stand in front of one of the chairs in the small room before sitting down in the chair, placing his clarinet case on his lap. He bit his lip ring as he opened the case and assembled the wooden instrument before placing the reed in his mouth to make it playable since playing a dry reed was hard and unacceptable. He latched his case and placed it next to him on the ground before placing his clarinet across his lap and fiddling with his music folder to take his music out and place it on the stand. All the while he was doing this, he had a strange gracefulness about him that didn't fit his looks. When he felt his reed was damp enough, he took it out of his mouth and onto the mouthpiece of the clarinet, making sure the ligature was tight enough but not too tight. He looked over at Dmitri and said,"You ready?"

{Hi, sorry I wasn't on for a few days! It was my birthday the other day, so I was busy on that day, and then I just had a few days where I didn't go online at all for whatever reason. Sorry!}
Dmitri ducked his head as though trying to hide so nobody would notice him as he walked in, closing the door as asked. It was pretty much a useless attempt, but he firmly pretended that it was true that if he couldn't see them, they couldn't seem him. It was somewhat pathetic. He found somewhere to linger, looking around and watching absently as Matt got ready. It was odd how he moved so in contrast to his whole aesthetic, but it showed how he fit in with the clique. It was interesting, and somehow made him relax a little. He knew how to handle people that were a part of his same group. Dmitri looked at the music, trying to figure it out in his head while waiting for Matt to finish whatever he was doing. He hummed a bit to warm up, not wanting to go through actual voice exercises when there were people around that weren't the rest of the choir. It was weird for him. He startled as he usually did when he was addressed, and he nodded quickly. "Oh, yes. I'm ready."
