IC: Chase watched the confrontation from a treetop, eyes narrowed and an arrow notched in his intricately carved wooden bow. He was in the living room of the estate when he heard the glass smash and he followed after the sounds. He hadn't seen this hunter before, but it didn't take a genius to tell she was a hunter. He wanted to kill her now but he instead smiled as he bit her. If she was a vampire she would be killed by the other hunters. However his smile faded when he found out she wouldn't be turned.

"Well it doesn't seem like 'they' taught you too well." Eric flicked his cigarette in her direction with a small smirk. A shrug was the only response given to Riley's threats, the vampire seemingly pacified now that he had fed. There was a notable difference in how he acted at this point. "It's not like I enjoy being this way. Somebody killing me is pretty much the only out I have." He looked down towards his feet when he addressed Riley. He all but jumped at the sight of bottle, but paused when he realized they probably weren't what he thought they were. "At least it looks like you got some nice gear from whoever sent you here to kill us."

IC: Chase listened carefully to the conversation. So the hunters trained new recruits? She must have a mentor, because he knew there was no teams with the hunters unless you were a group of friends. He pulled back the arrow just a little bit, just in case. She was soft, at least for a hunter. Any hunter he knew would have killed him on the spot, or mauled him to take him to the farms to torture and eventually kill and sell their organs. Chase had no sympathy for any type of hunter.

(Hey, sorry I've been gone for awhile. Real life kinda overwhelmed me for a while.)
Eric listened to Riley explain what she was doing in Kellersville. It seemed strange to him that she would be brought here for a test, but considering how many supernaturals lived here it wasn't the worst of ideas. "You almost killed me as it is, I'm sure you would've killed me if I had been a werewolf." He practically growled his answer to her. Although he had calmed down significantly, he didn't want to talk about Riley's skill as a hunter. "Why do you do this?"

OOC: It's all good B1oodyface!
IC: Chase's eyes narrowed into slits at her words and a lion like snarl rose from his throat. He was going to make his presence clear even if she hadn't heard him. What she said they him over the edge. ""To defeat the scourge of evil that plagues the world"," he started, his voice deep and booming. Hey, he'd had a long time to practice that. "Bull crap! You do it for money! Nothing else! Every supernatural in the world knows it! Your organization is a plague, hunting everything that isn't human, men, women and children! Nothing is off limits for you monsters!" He shouted. Along with the booming voice he sounded a lot larger then he was right now. There was no doubt he was really angry with her explanation. Her lie.

IC: Chase tilted his head slightly as he looked down at the girl. He had his mouth open to fight back, but he hesitated St her words. He could tell she truly believed what she was saying. She wasn't lying, she just didn't know what was right. "Is that what they told you?" He said, his voice still deep, but considerably quieter then before. "Then why did they send you here? Do yourself a favor and leave them, if you really want to do the right thing," he said, though he was sure she wouldn't believe what he was saying. He pulled the arrow back a little bit more when she aimed right at him.

IC: And now his anger was back. With a growl, he let the arrow go, though instead of aiming it at her, it flew toward the ground right between her feet. Nearly immediately after he let it go, he jumped back just in case she shot back, and he landed on the ground sigh a soft thud. He immediately then got out another arrow and notched it, aiming at her as he walked out of the shadows. His deep red scales were nearly black in the dim light. "These people have to live in fear, always looking behind their back, afraid that they can be killed at any time because people like you want a few coins," he snarled, constantly walking forwards as he spoke, only stopping when he was done. His bow was pulled back so far it looked like it was about to snap. It killed his arm, but he hardly felt the pain in his anger.

Eric looked awkwardly from Riley to Chase, trying to figure out just whose side he was on. Riley was a hunter who made a living killing supernaturals like himself and Chase, but he didn't really disagree with her. Sure, Chase was a dragon and wasn't likely to hurt anyone. But vampires like Eric had to, it was literally the only was for them to survive. "Is there a way for no one here to die today?" The muttering vampire took a moment to clean himself up a bit, dirty from the fighting and the mess he had gotten himself into earlier. "It's not going to stop the hunters from coming if you kill her," Eric addressed Chase before turning to Riley, "and killing us certainly isn't going to bring your family back."

OOC: I was gonna make a hunter myself, and I was thinking, should I make him Riley's mentor? Like the one who took her in, trained her, lied to her.
IC: Chase opened his mouth to respond, but before he could Eric spoke up and his gaze snapped to him. "Who's side are you on?" He growled, mostly just because he was already angry. "I don't plan of killing her unless she makes me," he added. He then looked back at Riley with a scowl. "What happened to your parents is not a reflection of everyone else," he said, lowering his voice slightly again till he was just growling. "These people are just as human as you, we all have lives, families, yet you won't go around killing humans like you kill us will you?"

( Ooh, that'd be pretty Cool! I say go for it )
Riley kept her bow aimed at Chase, not trusting him for a single moment. She wasn't absorbing his words at all, instead focusing on remembering where the chink in a dragon's armor was. Not satisfied with anything she was coming up with, Riley aimed at his eye. It wasn't until Chase mentioned her parents again that she spoke. "Don't you dare say a word about them! You know nothing about them, or how they died! The Institute wasn't lying about them, they told me your kind kills for its sick pleasure!" She was livid, now, but didn't show any sign of wanting to loose the arrow. She was, in fact, shaking. It was a sore topic.

OOC: Awesome! I introduce him later though, there's too much going on right now.XD
IC: Chase scoffed, nearly laughing. "Don't pretend you know me, I'm not even from this world," he said, frowning. To be totally honest he was worried about her shaking. He might be skilled, but he couldn't dodge a speeding arrow that close, and he wasn't good enough to be able to shoot it out of the air. "So you're telling me, you would be happy to kill a whole innocent family, just because of something someone did to you as a child?" He asked angrily. "If a human killed your family would you hunt other humans?" He continued, ignoring her argument.

IC: Chase laughed. Her comment amused him greatly, and made him want to prove that he wasn't afraid of her. Slowly, he pulled his bow down and took the arrow off, putting it back in the pouch on his back(I forgot what it's called). He then carefully put the bow down and started walking toward the young girl. "Afraid? Of you? No. I've been alive for hundreds of years. I've been to other dimensions, and seen things that would turn your blood cold. You you think I am scared of you?" He asked as he walked toward her, getting very close.

Alright. This wasn't working. Eric shook his head and turned away from the other two, hoping he could at the very least get out of there before there was bloodshed. Well, more bloodshed. A full stomach meant it was time for Eric to focus on other things, and try to act as human as possible so he didn't draw the attention of any other hunters. Lighting another cigarette, the bloody mess of a young man started back towards the pack's estate. Hopefully Mark was doing alright on his own.

IC: Chase eye twitched. He wanted to take that one step, sure she wasn't going to actually shoot him, but he hesitated. What if she did? He couldn't say that he was %100 sure exactly, but he was mostly sure. In his moment of hesitation though, she hurriedly started over to Eric. Chase stayed still for a moment somewhat stunned. He was nearly insulted that she would just walk away like that. Jumping back to actions he shook his head and grabbed his bow, going after them. "Hang on! Eric, don't take her with you. I don't trust her to go back," he said, or more commanded roughly.

"What, did you get over the lovebites?" He teased while flashing Riley a grin. Of course, being a vampire it was a bit more intimidating than he meant for it to be. Eric stopped when Chase told him to. He wasn't usually one for taking orders, but he more than understood the danger of bringing a hunter into the pack's home. "Fine, I'll go somewhere else." And with that he quickly turned and headed out of the forest towards his home.

Eric laughed despite the scowl Riley shot his way. "Romance isn't anywhere near pointless for you, your life is short. You should enjoy it." He blew a bit of smoke in her face as he spoke. "I don't have the luxury of settling down because unless someone like you kills me I'll live forever." It was a sad thought, and Eric looked towards the ground as he said it. "I live right in town, it should only be a couple minutes more."
