There were two places in the city Cody Fisher—not Officer Fisher, at least for today—felt safe. One was a bar on Fourth where he never bought a drink, and the other was a coffee shop on Marine, which he'd discovered made the best donuts in town. Now, off-duty and relatively calm, he was enjoying one alone at a table near the window, still with the door in sight. Even when Cody was off-duty, he was never really off-duty. Really. He was always on-call for SWAT operations. If he got lucky the call would come at ten that night, just after he'd gotten in bed.
Most people didn't recognize him without the uniform, but he always had a badge clipped to his belt. Always. He felt somehow weak without it, but most people didn't notice anyway. It was nice to be seen as a human being once every two weeks.

Katherine was still relatively new to her city and hence, she was roaming around downtown, trying to figure out her new town. All the meanwhile, mulling over her new unexpected power and circumstances. Such as becoming a superhero in a mixed up town of villains and having her own mini team, just her luck to chose the town. For the most part she was completely moved into her new house, as to being settled in, well that was a whole other story. Soon enough, she decided it was time to take a break and to try out one of the coffee shops, which just happened the shop that Cody occupied for the moment. The woman stepped inside, talking a moment, more like her own time to look at the menu to see what to order.

Cody was in the middle of stuffing his face with, to make matters worse, a pink sprinkle donut when he caught sight of Katherine. At first he didn't recognize her without the uniform, either, but she certainly looked familiar. When Cody realized who she was and where he knew her from, the officer choked. In 8 years nothing more embarrassing had ever happened to him. He was coughing loudly enough to get the other patrons' attention—but no one made any move to help. Just as well. There was one policeman in the room and he was the one coughing.

Kate had been wearing dark blue wash jeans that made her lower body look pretty good, brown leather jacket and a shirt underneath. That outfit alone would look good on a Friday or Saturday night on the town. Once she walked in, she did a quick survey of the room, muttering a carp, and turned away from the off duty officer. Sure, the hero get up covered her hair, and most of her face, but still you can never be too careful. However when he started coughing, she looked at him weirdly, hoping to whatever entity out there, he didn't know who she was yet. Kate sighed, she was an attractive woman that was sure, but looks could also be a downfall.
{I'm thinking her costume design is like the Flash's from the CW, just a bit different color scheme. Do you want me to post her description?}

(If you want to. it definitely helps me as a reader)
Unknown to her, Cody had recognized Katherine and she was the reason he was in so much pain. "Can I get some water?" he spit out between convulsions, one hand on his chest. Cody was about ready to text Frankie and ask her to get help, since everyone else was just standing around, but water would likely resolve the situation. Maybe. Usually his luck didn't hold. There was a very good chance he'd die choking on a donut. What a story that would be. The coroner would never let him—well, live—it down.

( Silverfall | Katherine Brooks /Breakneck | Straight
Her height is five feet eight inches tall. Kate is lithe and strong, her build is like that of a long distance runner, but not quite as muscular. Bright hazel eyes that are almost green with an olive skin tone and dirty blond, almost mouse brown curly hair that ended about two inches below her shoulders. Her hair often frizzes out of control. She’s kind, clumsy, introverted extroverted, and smart. While Kate has a strong moral compass, she sometimes lets her emotions get the best of her which often can cause sticky incidences. Even though the woman can be independent, she’s a team player at heart and does what she thinks is best. Which often leaves her at odds with her heart, head and the people she trusts. She has a strong moral obligation to protect what she believes in.
|| She has super speed which means numerous secondary applications; faster-than-normal healing from injuries, speed-reading, generate cyclones by spinning her arms quickly, throwing lightning bolts from the electricity she produces from running, just to name a few. As she becomes more confident and trains more, her speed and abilities from those listed above will come into being and increase. As she is still just a plain old human, she still has most of the weaknesses that a human would have. If you punch her enough she will either become unconscious or die. If she is caught off guard and doesn’t catch a bullet, she can die. If you find a fancy way of taking her speed away, she’s a normal human without accelerated healing or anything. Lack of Gravity and lack of friction also are her downfalls, if you get her cold enough, like absolute zero cold, she won’t be able to accelerate her molecules which prevents her from generating kinetic energy, causing her to slow down. One bad thing about having super speed, if she doesn’t eat around 10,000 calories a day, she will faint, not that she’s figured that out yet.
| History She is an engineer who just finished up her degree and is working. She will desperately try and keep her two lives separate. She just moved to this city to get away from her last home to think and reevaluate where she wants to go and who to be from here on out. As she just received her powers from a recent accident, she is shaky and is trying to figure out the whole double life thing and her powers. She’s the type of girl to have a team behind her, and not much of a loner when it comes to being a superhero. That being said, being so soon after her receiving her powers, she is far from understanding her powers and far from the fastest she can be. | Other N/A
Silverfall | Carter Stewart | Straight
The man’s of a somewhat normal height, being five feet nine inches tall. He has mouse brown hair that stops a little bit above his shoulders with a slightly darker olive skin ton, but still white skin. He has slightly broad shoulders. He’s not all that fit, he tries to stay in shape, but given all the late nights and all the sugary things he eats and drinks all the coffee, it doesn’t quite work out. He did do sports in high school; however that effect has worn off long ago. But he does his best to work out and he does have a half-way decent physique. Carter has light hazel eyes. Carter is kind, caring, intelligent, and a laid-back young man, who often at first glance seems unable to take things seriously. However, he has often proven to be surprisingly focused when it comes to helping people and getting stuff done. It's not apparent that Carter is a nerd and a geek in a few ways. He has a love of sci-fi, advanced technology, and pop culture, and is very excited to see such concepts made real for him. Yet, he also likes sports and tries to stay in shape. Which doesn’t work out well sometimes. He has great pride about his tech to the point of being extremely protective of it when something becomes damaged or destroyed. Carter is also a very careful planner. He loves the family that he’s got, which consists of his mother and father, and hence he is very protective of them. Depending on the cause of someone, or something hurting either him or his family or both, he’s not afraid to fight back in the appropriate manner. || In a sense, he is a normal human being who just happens to be a genius. That being said, if you gave him the money, the time and the resources, he could build just about anything you wanted or needed. He helps Kate by doing techie stuff behind the scenes, directing Kate to where she’s needed.
Family Parents and a sibling back home| History He knows and is friends with Kate through the lab from which they both worked at. He’s moved down here to convince Kate to become a hero and to do that he’s helping to start a tech start up. He earned a Mechanical engineering degree. | Other He loves tinkering with stuff and learning. )
Kate sighed, looking around, no one was doing anything for the poor man. She huffed and soon got a cup of water for the poor guy. "Here. It seems no one is out to help, unless it's for their own interests." She sighed, her voice somewhat different then when she was Breakneck, and she even acted differently. Now she was slightly soft spoken and even a little shy. As Breakneck, she had a little bit more confidence. As Breakneck most of the time she had vibrated her vocal cords to sound a little bit lower and different than when she was Kate.

(Thanks, dude. I should probably write some up for Fisher, Frankie, Crosswind, and the villains.)
Too desperate to thank her first, Fisher took the water from Katherine, inadvertently grabbing her wrist in the process. When the glass was empty and he could breathe normally again, Cody let go, eyes watering. "Okay, that was really embarrassing." He drew one hand down his face, reddened either by the humiliation he faced or the lack of oxygen to his brain. "I guess you were right about me needing help. I just thought it would be in a shootout, not choking on a donut."

{Np.}
Kate's eyes bubbled out at the officer grabbing her wrist. "Ah... o... Ah.." She sputtered awkwardly, not sure how to take this. This was really the first time someone may have recognized her. Time for damage control "Um.. Do I know you? I don't think I've ever seen you before..." She, by this point was awkwardly rambling.

At first Cody thought she was making a joke, and gave Kate a pity laugh. When he realized she was serious—and why—the officer grew irritated. '"C'mere," he said, motioning Kate a little closer so he could whisper in her ear, "I know you were disguised, and all, but if I didn't recognize someone every time they put on a mask, I'd be a pretty crappy police officer. So you can pretend you don't know me, whatever, but I definitely know you."

"I'll admit to it, but if I hear you telling anyone, whether not it it's your partner or your family, there will stuff to deal with. I want to half some sort of semblance of a normal life, and having two identities is the only way do to do. You hear me?" Kate nearly hissed.

"What, you gonna follow me all over town twenty-four seven to make sure I don't talk? Call me crazy, but that sounds like the opposite of a normal life," Fisher chuckled, unfazed by Kate's threatening tone. No one really intimidated him anymore. "I won't tell anyone who you are if you don't tell them how I almost died today. Sound like a deal?"

"Just know, I have my ways." Kate stated, getting up to get her drink. Coming back, she took a seat opposite of Fisher, eyeing him and deducing all that she could. Of course she did it quietly, in a sort of creepy/ scary, intimidating way.

Is she sitting down by me? Fisher wondered, watching as Kate pulled up a chair. Obviously she was. But he was confused. They'd never had a neutral discussion; it was always an argument with them. But he'd left his phone on the table, so there was no other option but to sit back down again. Suddenly his half-eaten donut didn't look so appetizing anymore. Looking across the surface at Kate, he smiled, "You know, you're the reason I started choking in the first place." She was cute. Cody didn't stand a chance.

At first all Kate did was let out a rather loud huff/sigh, still staring down Fisher. "Oh really? I highly doubt that. You've probably seen half a dozen in a real life situation at any time." It was easy to read that she was tense, almost pro-argument. She stated her words in a quiet manner, but still slightly harsh, looking away for a moment. Kate for the moment was still trying to figure out why she was still talking to this man, let alone sat across from him. She also was still trying to figure him out, not quite checking him out, but still looking at him in an abstract manner.

"Uh, I mean, yeah, I have, but I wasn't eating something at the same time," Cody replied with a shrug. "Speaking of, I'm gonna go throw this away." One eyebrow raised, he added, "Unless you want it." Then he slapped Kate's shoulder, just like he had the other night, and got up from the table. In a small coffee shop like the one on Fourth, he felt a little too confined. Fisher wasn't broad-shouldered, but he was almost freakishly tall. It took a while to get the Charger adjusted to his standards, and coming back to the table, he had to sit awkwardly far away from Kate. Leaning his sharp jaw against one hand, sort of half—well, not even half, more like quarter—smiling at his new acquaintance, Cody asked, "You're new to town, aren't you? Most supers strut around here like they on the place, in or out of uniform, but you...not so much. Where ya from?"

"No I'm good." Kate sighed, still watching him like a hawk. At his small smile, she just kind of squinted her eyes slightly, still on guard about the whole thing. "Somewhat, been here a few months, long enough to have settled down and yet, not enough to have found a job to my liking." She rolled her eyes, taking a sip of her drink while leaning back. "I'm from Seattle. Had to get out of the town, stuff happens." Kate sighed, referring to her powers.

Hey, listen, I've been here my entire life—except for college for four years. I don't want to brag, or anything, but I know all the cool spots. Half of 'em are gone. Used to hang out there during high school, but a lot of the city's still the same. If you're not busy, I'd be happy to show you around." He scooted his chair back a little farther so he could stretch one leg out, but any farther and he'd be against the person behind him. The past hour had been awkward enough, so Cody just kind of sat there, trying not to look nervous.

Kate's eyes never quite settle on one thing for too long, though three things that she looked at was, Fisher, her drink and the people around them or the people passing by the window. Though she kind of jumped when Fisher asked if she would like him to show her around. Kate raised an eyebrow, that definitely got her full attention. She opened her mouth, unsure of what to say. She tilted her head slightly, she supposed the only thing had to do was to check in with Carter. Plus she hadn't been on a date, since waking up from her coma and moving here in over six months. "Um sure. I just have to tell my friend, we were just going to go over the plans for finding Adriana and some new tech to help me in the field. This is just acquaintances getting to know each other right...?" She asked.

"Sure. Just me helping out a friend." Cody smiled for real this time, although, admittedly, he was a little disappointed Kate didn't consider it a date. Maybe he'd have to impress her first. Still, he hadn't really gone out in five years or so. Had it been five years? Yes. And once she found out what Cody did for a living, she walked right out the door. "Adriana said she'd come find me, but I don't know. That hasn't happened yet, and heaven knows the department has some crazy stuff going on right now. But I'll keep an eye out for you guys."

Kate sighed in relief, at this point, she didn't know if she could handle a dating life. "Well you have a panic button as Carter likes to call it, press it when you set up a meeting with her, and it'll be a stakeout for me, unless, you don't mind us decking you out?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. She still was surprised that he hasn't asked for her name. "When and where? And will this do?" She asked, referring to what she was wearing.

(It totally is. xD It's fine. Fisher is like an actual developed character this time)
"I'll just press the panic button. I don't really like being followed. I'm pretty sure you get it." Fisher shifted in his chair, a little too tall to stand up from where he was sitting. "So uh, thanks for saving me. I guess I'll see you around...let's say six? And wear whatever you want. Seriously. I have like two shirts that don't go with a uniform." Cody, finally figuring out how to slip out of his chair without knocking over the table, stood up. "It was good to see you, Break—" Biting his lip, the officer shook his head. "I just realized I don't even know your real name."

{If you can't tell, I'm still working with Kate, which is the case with the most of my super hero OC's, since I lit created them like a month ago or less. }
"Ok. Where?" Kate asked. "What I'm trying to say is, if you meet up with her and you know ahead of time, I can meet with you and give you some gear so I don't have to sit there and listen, I just listen from afar." Sighing, she realized that she wasn't going to be so lucky as get out of this without the cop knowing her name. "I am..." The woman took a moment, debating her options. "I'm Kate." It was obvious that she still didn't quite trust the officer, mainly just because of her line of work. She looked up at him, still seated, taking a sip of her drink.

(Fisher's been around for a while but the concept kinda got scrapped for a few months because I was working on like two other things...but now he's back, lol.
Ok so I had an idea for character B/characters B.
They work in a group/in a pair, and one of them is the brains while the other is brawn. Brawn has the ability to strip a hero of his/her powers, and that's how they intend to take over the city, by getting rid of all the heroes first.)

Long story short, I based most of my characters of the characters in the show. Any who, one of the storylines had the Flash without his speediness due to having the main villain siphons all of his speed force, leaving Barry powerless. The villain injects the speed force into himself, and he kidnaps a member of the team with his enhanced speed before escaping and Barry(The Flash) having to disappear into the Speed Force( the thing that gave the Flash his speediness). Barry meets physical manifestations of the Speed Force in faces familiar to him. The Speed Force informs Barry that he cannot leave unless he catches a mysterious moving figure, thus gaining his speed back. Cisco and Wells create a path into the Speed Force so Barry can escape, but the latter chooses to remain so he can earn his powers back. The Speed Force tells Barry that he cannot become the Flash again until he finally accepts Nora's death. Barry shares a moment with the physical manifestation of Nora, which allows him to finally catch the moving figure himself.
What if we did something similar to that?}
