One by one, everyone who'd had a sip of anything remotely alcoholic that night began to collapse. Fisher stopped at the first body and internally panicked. He couldn't triage a five hundred people suffering from the same condition on his own. More like pick and choose. Was it their fault for not making sure the punch was safe? Or the health inspector's for not finding the drugs his first time around? Either way Fisher was glad his duties prevented him from drinking at all. If he'd been a guest here, he'd almost certainly have gotten something from the bar.
Now he was kneeling beside a fireman, trying to keep the man talking while simultaneously spitting codes into the radio and trying to explain to dispatch the situation. The problem? There were no codes for "some psychopath poisoned the entire party." Frankie was doing chest compressions on someone across the way, outwardly calm, but Fisher knew she felt the same burden.
And Candy—she wasn't doing so well after that first drink, but she was a super, so it didn't matter too much. Just slowed her down a little. And a little more. And more, until she could barely stand. Still, Candy counted herself lucky; she wasn't one of the people dying on the ground. But Mr. Shark was going to get away. "Fisher! Malone! Somebody get this guy!"

Kate sighed, she had no clue on what to do. Though she did take a moment in her corner away from people to increase her metabolism, vibrating her entire body for a few moments to get rid of the stuff out of her body. From where she was, she made a sample of the spiked stuff, in a matter of a minute she managed to run to her cave, and get the computer setup for an automatic poison analysis and anti-poison synthesis. Which took a matter of moments and she had changed into her get up and came back to the building.
Kate checked with Carter on her way in, he wasn't looking so good. "Go get him, you heard the girl who stood with Fisher. I'll be fine. Go get 'em."
"I've got the computer running an analysis and synthesis. I hope it's done in time. Hold on there, Car." Kate murmured, running to confront the enemy. "Hey buddy! What do you think you're doing?" She called out.

"Getting rid of all my roadblocks in one fell swoop. Except you, apparently. I'll have to think of something else for you," said the shark thoughtfully. "What are you going to do, take me to jail? I'll just pay them off again. I'll just hire a defense lawyer. I'll be there for a total of ten minutes. I'm not afraid of you."
Fisher, on the other hand, was quite afraid. It wasn't evident, but he was panicking internally. Maybe naloxone would do the trick? It was a stretch, but he didn't have a lot of options.
He had a first aid kit on him, fortunately. In the car, but close enough. It was impulsive, but Fisher was—well, he was Fisher, frankly. He had to do something. Lucky for him, it worked. There must have been some sort of narcotic in the punch. "Frankie!" he called across the dance floor as the firefighter came around, "Narcan works!"

"Oh how sad. You think you can get rid of them? And me... " Breakneck tilted her head. "Emmm... I wasn't thinking of something like that. You'd be stuck where you can't pay people off, nor would you be able to get out. You would... drop off the face of the earth." She shook her head. "Besides, I'm not sure what would take me down anymore. Good luck with that. Beside, many other metas/supers would be able to take you down quicker, and would being willing to cross the line." She stated.

"Why does it work? It must have been an opiate of some sort. Weird," Frankie mused, watching the scene play out. "You'd think poison would have improved by now."
"Here, take care of this. Make sure you tell the paramedics what to do when they get here. I'm gonna make sure Mr. Boss Man gets put away, because I'm pretty certain I saw Kate down a shot or two." And with that, Fisher left Frankie alone with the naloxone and dashed up the stairs, one hand on his belt.
The officer looked to the next person on the floor, who just so happened to be Carter. Sighing, Frankie told herself, "Supers are people too," and jogged to his side. "I'm legally obligated to ask if I can help you, so can I help you?"
--
"That's completely illegal. You're not an employee of the state. I want my rights to be observed. My Miranda rights. My right to a fair and speedy trial," said the shark, barely noticing as Fisher approached. He was on the ground with the officer's knee in his back before he could say anything else.
"I got your employee of the state right here." Looking at Kate, Cody scowled slightly. "I'm not even sure what to call you. Tell me before I screw things up again."

Kate huffed with a smile, almost a smart-ale look on her face, having kneeled down and her face slightly above the guy's face. "Yea, well when you start attacking cops who happen to be innocents, and if you're powered and the cops can't take you down, that's when mine come in, and you're outside the scope of the law." Breakneck stood and her attention switch to Fisher as she stood elegantly. "You got him from here?" She asked with a nodded, taking a few steps backwards to check on Carter. "It's not like you've really seen me on the news or have seen me before. Call me Breakneck." To Shark or anyone else who didn't know her, maybe even Fisher if he wasn't paying attention, her eyes showed she didn't know the police office. However if Fisher was paying attention, there was something else in her eyes. Something deeper, something along the lines of, 'We need to talk. To figure out our dynamic.'
By this time, Carter was leaning heavily against the wall. He looked at the officer. "I'm... fine. Thanks." He stated.

Still with his eyes on Kate, Fisher frowned, shook his head, and snapped, "Yeah, sure, whatever," to all three. He'd gotten good at putting handcuffs on people. Struggling people, especially, like the shark. At first it had been difficult, but with their face in the floor, they couldn't put up much of a fight. "Come on. Get up, buddy."
"I want my rights!" the shark shouted. "Read me my rights!"
"You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law." Fisher cast one last glance at Katherine before dragging his newest arrest down the stairs, now in a bad mood, to say the least.
---
"Dude, you have like five seconds to decide. There are other people who need this," Frankie told him, one hand on her hip. "I mean, I would just take it. Really doesn't make sense not to."

Carter opened and closed his month a few times like a fish gasping for air, just that he was searching for what to say.
Breakneck nodded and flashed from view as soon as she got her reply, before Fisher could head down the stairs. Within that moment she came to Carter and picked him up and appeared in their hide out within thirty seconds. Carter had started to say something, however the next thing he knew was that he was laying in a bed that was suppose to be meant for Kate, should she get in for more than she bargained for and more than her body could speed heal on its own. He instantly relaxed. A moment later a beep was heard and he felt a sharp pain in his arm. "Ouch! You... should have warned me." He stated, play fighting with Kate.
Kate just rolled her eyes. "I believe the proper statement should have been, 'Oh my god, you saved my life Kate. Thank you so much." She smiled back. "You should be back to normal pretty soon. Stay here and recover, I'm going back to see if there's anything I can do to help." By this time, she changed back into some regular clothes.
Carter nodded. "Be careful."
"Always am." Kate yelled with aa smile before zooming back to the scene of the crime. Her hair was a little frazzled and makeup slightly smeared, but not as bad as some of the other women and her dress was a little bit crispy looking.

(Sorry, I've been on the forums on and off but I didn't really have time to RP until today. It might have to be Friday's from now until the school year's end)
By the time Kate got back, paramedics were pulling up to the scene, Fisher was going out of his mind, and Frankie was still trying to figure out where the woman she'd just been talking to had gone. Much to Cody's dismay, she approached him and asked yet another question, like he hadn't heard enough of those for one day.
"Do you want to help Candy?"
Candy. Of course. He'd left her there to fend for herself. Feeling guilt wash over him, Cody made his way back up the stairs, but she was already gone, and he was standing alone in a panic. Three seconds—he gave himself three seconds to freak out, and then returned to his steely demeanour. That didn't mean he knew what to do, though. For the first time, utter hopelessness was visible in Fisher's expression.

{It's fine, I understand.}
Kate still had changed back into her dress, and started around the scene. She was trying to help as best as she could for the moment. It wasn't like she was a paramedic and was trained in this sort of stuff.
