So I apparently have the need to rp a lot and I continue having more and more ideas for them. The idea for this one is a human and vampire romance. A new school opens and it's main focus is to teach both humans and vampires how to work with each other. Our characters are basically the original student council presidents for their species and are constantly trying to one up each other. Feel free to choose which ever you would like to rp, I'm fine with either. As for some additional ideas we could eventually have the school and another school go up against each other and our characters are forced to work together. Of course there are endless possibilities for this rp and I would love to talk about more!
I, of course, have a few things i'd like for my partner to realize. 1. Please be able to right more then one or two lines and use proper grammar. 2. If you will be inactive or are no longer interested in the rp please tell me. I won't be insulted, but I hate being left in the dark as to why you are no longer replying. 3. If you have any problem with how the rp is playing out I REALLY want you to tell me! A rp should be fun for both people! 4. If you wish to do anything 18+ it will be rped in the PM's. If not, then we don't have to worry ^^ 5. This will be a male x male rp. 6. Try and be pretty active. We all have our busy days and weeks but I would like to try and at least rp every day to every two days.
I will also follow all of these rules! If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Alright, i'll talk to you later ^^ ) This is a bit long, but starters usually are.)
Winter Academy, a high school recently built in snowy mountain with teachers of the highest degree and available dorms the school should have been a large hit. But it has a very low acceptance rate. For anyone that is accepted you soon learn why. The school is a place for humans and vampires to learn how to coexist with one another. It's a test of sorts. To see if the two can live peacefully while knowing of one another. William Fox ran over this information, his eyes glancing over the leaflet in his hands. The teen had tan skin and sun bleached blond hair, and looked miserable. He had a scarf, jacket, coat, and gloves but the cold sunk into his bones and made him shiver. He had just gotten back from a summer long vacation in California and this cold weather was killing him. No matter how long he lived here there was just no getting used to the cold weather.
Most of his class mates had lived here their entire lives, but Will had only lived here for about a year or two. Burrowing down further into his scarf Will pulled out his phone and scrolled through the messages. Sniffling once more he debated taking off his gloves and playing a game, but the thought of freezing his hands off was too much. The bus he was taking up was rickety and had a terrible heating system. It was the cheapest option and his family hadn't been able to take him up.
Their situation was a interesting one. His high school had been chosen for this experiment. A lot of the students had originally disliked the idea but with the promise of an excellent education most eventually agreed. Will was the student council president and had been for all his years in the high school. He didn't like to brag but most found him fun to hang out with and he had become pretty popular over the years. To get the rest of the students in on it they had come to him first and he had agreed. This was a once in a life time opportunity.
He looked out the window and saw the school. It was large and new. It nearly glowed in the sunlight. There was a skiing hill further up and Will considered learning simply because there was one nearby. Though his low tolerance to the cold would likely keep him away from the sport. The bus puffed up the steepest part of the hill, nearly dying half way.
Once parked Will stood and shuffled out of the bus along a couple other students from his school. Most yawning and waking up from a quick nap. The ride had been two hours. Grabbing his stuff he turned to the school and started the walk to the front doors.

β³ "Our Board of Education has chosen your school to attend a social experiment with human students. Your administrators have agreed, and beginning next school year, every student will begin to attend Winter Academy, where you will learn, work, and, most importantly, live alongside human students."
Lux Jonstein had not been pleased he had to break the news to his student body as the president of the student council. He also wasn't happy that he was expected to be on his best behavior around the humans and had to be the one to break it to the rest of the students that it did not mean free snack bar. Now he had to actually pretend he was happy about this; he couldn't let his follow students down.
He'd arrived to school about a week early, mostly to take care of boarding and rooming. After that, he'd had a week of free time. Some of that meant skiing on the snowy hills or reading in his room, but most of it was being bored out of his mind. Some of his friends were still giving him the cold shoulder, and he wasn't sure if this was because he complained so much or they were still blaming him for the current situation.
Either way, he couldn't say the school wasn't magnificent. It was actually very well-built; most of the classrooms were similar to those at his old school. The high ceilings long hallways looked like something straight out of the Victorian Era. Lux didn't mind that, at least, and while only a fraction of the students attending were currently at school, it was actually very peaceful.
"Lux! Come on down. I heard the other council president was going to get here today!" Maya shouted up to him. She just had to chose the worst time, didn't she?
Lux rolled his eyes, swinging his feet on the lift. "Why didn't you tell me before I got on this thing?" he growled, and she responded along the lines of "just jump" along with a couple insults. Well, he did, almost hitting his head in the process. He was pretty sure that broke a couple rules, but oh well. He followed his friend down to the imposing front entrance, waiting for the councilman to arrive as promised.
Well, all that showed up was a bus, and by the looks of said bus, and the creaking of the engine as it started again to leave, he could imagine it had not been a fun ride. "Maya, this wasn't worth jumping down for," he chided his friend, but she only shrugged and walked off, obviously upset that there hadn't been any grand entrance on the humans' part. He removed his goggles with one hand, his skis tucked under the other arm.

The cold wind sent shivers down his spine and Will couldn't wait to get inside. He looked up and saw the doors were open. There stood two other people, no perhaps vampires. Will recognized the guy that stood there. He had seen his picture. It was the other student council president. Or the old one, Will was actually planning on taking that position for himself, but that would be decided later. Walking up to them he tried for a warm smile and set down his bags. "Hello, my name is William Fox. You must be Lux." his eyes turned to the vampire, then turned to the other beside him "And I haven't seen you. What might your name be?" his voice was light and casual, as if he had known them all his life.
Will may be suffering internally from the cold, but he didn't let it show. This was no time for him to be complaining. He had to make a good example. The other human students stood a couple feet behind him. They tried to be nonchalant but he could tel they were listening in and seeing what he was getting them into.
His eyes quickly flitted over the room and the school. Now that he was closer he could really tell that it had been recently built. The floors were new and shiny, very slight signs anyone had even stepped foot in the area. Inside he could see one or two other figures and figured they were some of the students that had gotten here early. Up close he could tell just how big the school was, and compared to their smaller school it was gigantic.

β³ Lux watched the group of students; his gaze was, in a way, predatory. Couldn't let them put their guards down, right? Then again, he wasn't really thinking about eating them. For one thing, he wasn't allowed to, and more importantly, he wasn't supposed to let on the impression that anyone was allowed to. If he did, well, he imagined he wouldn't be council president much longer. His eyes drifted back to what he thought of as the human representative after a pause. He smiled a little, but his eyes were narrowed. "William? Such a nice name. This is--"
"My name is Maya Burgonouf, council treasurer. Thank you, Lux, but I can introduce myself," she huffed. Unlike Lux, she let it show that she was suspicious of the well-mannered human.
Lux almost ducked, thinking she might hit him, but only tensed. He didn't want to ruin his first impression on these humans. When she didn't hit him, he tested the waters with a little jab. "Jesus, Maya go get yourself some blood. You're being cranky," he scolded. She glared at him and stalked off. Maybe she was unnerved by the humans; she probably hadn't been around them in, what, a decade or so? He watched her go, then turned back to the human. "It's nice to have all of you here. I do hope you will enjoy our school," he added. Our, as in the vampires' even though it was a totally new school for his classmates as well.

"I'm sure we will. The school is rather new and looks nice." he didn't miss the way the vampire called it 'theirs' and he wasn't about to let him think that. This was going to be his school, once he became student council president. "Picking up his bag he took a couple steps in and was followed by the rest of his classmates. A couple teachers came out of the main office and were talking with the students. Turning his full attention back to Lux he said "You look like you've been here for a while." his head tipped to the skis "I hope we can get along." his words were kind, but there was an underlying threat. Not obviously, but it was almost like he was making sure to warm the other to keep his kind in line. And in return he would do that same with his school.
If they could help it Will would like to bond the two species easily. And to do that he needed to get along with their 'leader' of sorts. He had of course taken the blood comment in stride and hadn't said anything about it. He knew before he came here that there would be getting used to the whole blood thing.
The vampires were required to eat animal blood unless there was a problem. Human blood would help them heal faster, but only in a case like that were they allowed to drink it. Their blood was a delicacy of sorts and tasted better than that of an animals. Other then that though the vampires looked and acted the same as humans, ignoring minor differences of course. Will felt like the two species could get along swimmingly.

β³ Lux smiled. "Just a week," he interjected. "And yes, I'm sure we'll be able to get along swell. If you or your other students have any concerns, feel free to take them up with me," he added. The comment, though, was insincere. He knew the human students would likely not come to him with concerns; they'd probably continue to go to William, even though he wouldn't really be their student president for long.
Did he think this "experiment" would go well? Not really. He wasn't bent on seeing that it didn't-- that would make him look bad-- but he didn't have much faith that these humans would work well with vampires. After all, what sort of human tried to go to school and learn with fish? Or cows, as the metaphor was often used? Though it wasn't really the same since they all drank animal blood; human blood was nice and all, but you had to kill people to get it, so it was very expensive and usually only used for the sick and injured.
He glanced at some of the teachers. Some were human and some vampire, but all of them were arguably the best in their fields. For the program to work, they had to have a student body, and to get one, they had to be a very attractive school to balance out the fact that both humans and vampires were attending. Watching the exuberant new students, he added, "And as long as all of you stay in line, I'm sure you'll do just fine here."

"Oh, you don't have to worry about us. I'll make sure to keep anyone in line." a teacher waved at him for the next in line "I have to go. Nice meeting you, perhaps we'll see each other during the assembly." the opening assembly was in about thirty minutes. Any student that did not get their schedule before would have to wait until after. A couple of his classmates were chatting, and there were even a few that were testing the lines with the vampires. The schools they had gone to originally both had their respective uniforms. His wasn't exactly standing out, seeing that he had a coat and scarf on.
He was pleased there were some students who looked wary around the vampires and Will remembered reading that most vampires would lose their control and would kill humans while drinking their blood. At first he had snorted and simply said they should learn how, but the more he thought about it he realized that it was simply an instinct.
Shrugging he hoped that no human student would have to risk getting killed. There should be no reason. If a vampire got hurt they could heal like a normal person. And if it was bad enough they could simply take blood from a human. Preferabbly without killing them. But Will couldn't talk. Despite doing research he still knew very little about vampires and was hoping to learn more. As soon as he got his schedule, map of the school, planner, and a couple other items the bell rang for the assembly. The students moved to the auditorium.

β³ "Perhaps," he replied. He paused after William left, waiting as more students got their information packets and signed in. Those who'd already gotten said materials were either chatting with their friends or talking with some of the other vampires that'd come down to meet the arriving humans. He got bored quickly, though, since no one else approached him and decided to find a better way to spend his time before the assembly.
He made the trip back to his dorm room to drop off his skis. By the time he was heading back, he really only had time to walk to the assembly. Maybe he'd get there early and gather seats for his friends. Maya was already there, sitting by her friends, so Lux chose a seat in the front row in case he had to go up and talk in front of the student body. He was pretty sure they would've warned him if he did, but since the school was new, there might have been a delay in communication.
If he didn't have to talk, well, he'd be easy for William to spot, though he might seem like a goody-two-shoes for sitting in the front. Or a very responsible student councilman. As he was waiting for the assembly to start, the bell rung and more students, both vampire and human, began to file in and take up seats in the assembly hall. He was tempted to just go sit next to Maya, but she was probably still a little angry at him. Besides, they wouldn't be able to talk over the noise of the assembly.

As Will walked in he saw that Lux sitting in the front row. That seemed to tick him off and Will walked down and sat himself in the front row as well. He tried to act nonchalant and was looking through his schedule while referencing to the map every once in a while. On the stage the principal was talking with the stage crew and a few teachers. It looked like it would be starting soon, but they still had some things to finish up. He was sitting maybe three seats away from the vampire. Will could hear the auditorium gradually get louder as more and more students entered. But they hardly filled half of the large auditorium. Now that he was looking at it there were not that many.
As stage crew continued to set up Will finished looking through his schedule and placed them into the bag he had brought. His scarf and gloves were still on, but he had taken off his coat leaving him only his jacket.

β³ Lux almost didn't notice William sitting down near him. Though, him being the only one, it was hard to miss after the wave of incoming students was finally seated. The auditorium made the student body seem like an underwhelming number, as if most had decided not to attend. That wasn't true, though, because many were attending, but the school had severely limited its numbers for its first year of operation. It was built for many more students.
Why was William sitting near him? Not next to, but just a few seats down. It was strange, though it didn't seem like he was concerned about Lux. He was reading his schedule and looking at the school map. Maybe it was just coincidence, so Lux tried not to be bothered by it as he turned back to watching the stage crew and school principal talking in hushed and hurried voices. The assembly was going to start soon.
He considered moving over a couple seats and asking William about his schedule, but by the time he'd thought of it, William seemed to have put it away already, so he decided not to. It wouldn't matter anyway. If they had classes together, they'd find out on their first full day of school; asking beforehand would be too... friendly. He'd already figured out what classes his friends were in. He didn't need to know what classes William had.

The principal stood and cleared his throat, waiting for silence. At first glance he looked like a normal person but upon closer inspection you could tell that he was actually in fact a vampire "Welcome!" his voice boomed "As you all know this is the first crop of students for this new school. I hope that you will all be open and accepting to your new class mates." looking over to the human principal, a sturdy looking woman with brown hair, likely the human representative. She took a step forwards "My name is Ms. Miller and this is Mr. Walker. If you have any questions after the introduction please feel free to ask us." and with that the introduction began. They covered school rules and policies as well as dress code, bell schedules, and classrooms.
The rules covered both human and vampire problems. The women dorms were on the top two floors of the dorm building while the mens were in the bottom two floors. Humans and vampires would be roomed separately. With their schedules they should have gotten their room numbers and classes. This continued until he came to a different topic.
"We will be selecting the student council when we get settled in. Please consider applying for one."

ⳠOmg sorry my common apps are due tomorrow and it's haha a ton of fun they should get a dead tie and the principals are like⦠well, guess you'll be co-presidents }}
Of course he was concidering applying. The only problem? He was sure that William would be too, so he'd have to also try to win over enough human students and keep his current student body on his side. There'd probably be a few other people in the running, but no one he would worry about.
He usually helped Maya on her campaign in return that she rally him some votes in return. Maybe he could make a similar deal with some of the human council members, but it'd mean getting vampires to promise to vote for them, which wouldn't be easy.
The assembly was drawing to the close. Ms. Miller summed it up by telling them that the sumbitions for a spot running for student council would be available in the office and had to be turned in within two weeks, then she gave a little closing speech. Lux wasn't paying too much attention. He was gathering his bags and preparing to leave so that he wouldn't get caught in the crowd of students trying to leave.

It's all good. I went for a walk. And that's a great idea XD it'll be hilarious. I can totally see them hating having to go to meetings and over viewing things together.)
When the assembly ended Will stood and stretched. He glanced at the vampire and walked over "So, I assume you will also be applying for the student council president position?" his head titled inquiringly "I hope to have a fair fight." winning over the vampires would prove to be difficult, but he was up for it. No way was he going to give up the position.
He should head to his first class, but wanted to make sure he knew what he was up against. His first class was calculus, the bane of man kind. But there was little he could do. Will planned to get into a good college and trying his best in school was the best way to get there. His brother had been a drop out of school. He ended up drinking and getting into things that put the rest of them in danger. Eventually he had disappeared and never came back. Probably joined some kind of gang.

β³ Lux nodded. "Of course I will be applying. Sorry if you were thinking of winning," he replied playfully. He actually did see William as a threat to his current position, but he wouldn't let anyone else know that. He had to let his follow students know that he intended to win and keep them safe. At any rate, he was better for them than any human president.
So much for avoiding the crowd. Well, his first hour teacher probably wouldn't mind a few people being late anyway. Some of the students probably didn't even know where they were going or still needed to get their schedules, so there was no rush for those who already knew perfectly well where they needed to go.
As for Lux, he didn't mind getting there a little on the later side, but since it'd be obvious to the teacher he didn't get lost, he'd have to make up another excuse. "I was welcoming the new students." Well, it wasn't exactly false, he thought, noting the human in front of him.

"Don't look down on me, I might just surprise you." Will replied. He offered the other a wave then walked ahead. This crowd was a lot like his old school and he easily slipped through the halls and around the crowds. A lot of students looked worried and confused. He had already planned his route and was in his class before the bell rang. The teacher was ushering people in. She was checking off people as they walked in. There was a seating chart and Will didn't have to look at it. His friend Seth was in the class and called him over, saying that they sat by each other.

β³ tfw you stay up studying all night to out-study your rival and end up missing the test eventually they are like completing the homework weeks in advance and the teacher is so annoyed they get sent to the principals office for trying to get lesson plans too often }}
Eventually the bulk of the crowd died down a little, so he started towards his classroom. He arrived at the classroom, saying hello to his new teacher, and walked to the front to find his seat. Maya was sitting in the first column of desks, but he was actually two columns over and one row back. In fact, he was sitting right next to⦠William.
He took his seat. He turned to William, his expression a mix of irritation and ego. "So you're taking Calculus as well? I didn't think it'd be offered for lower-level students."

omg yes XD instead of stealing test answers they are trying to get the assignments. They finish the text book and end up having nothing left to do.)
The blond student snorted "You wouldn't be here if they did. Calculus is one of my better subjects. If you need any help feel free to ask. I'm sure I can simplify it enough for you." his friend looked between them like he was watching a tennis match. He was likely wondering how Will had already made a rival, and with vampire nonetheless. A couple other students were looking uncomfortable, but most were watching with interest. They both knew that these were the original student council presidents of their respectable schools, and if they were both planning to run this would be a fabulous rivalry.
Wills face had a confident smirk plastered on it and he was sitting in his chair comfortably. He wasn't new to a little bit of banter. And he was confident in his skills to back up his words.
It's all good ^^ I'm gonna turn in soon as well.)

β³ sorry for totally abandoning you yesterday! I was in sick and coughing my lungs out :c }}
Lux chuckled, leaning towards William. He set his elbow on the desk behind him, paying no mind to the human that wanted to occupy said space with a binder. Clever human, eh? He was pretty quick with an insult. "I'll have to turn down your offer. If not for the fact that I'm much smarter than you, then simply for my pride." He did notice that quite a few other students were either outrightly staring or making glances at them every few seconds.
Maya was looking at them as well, but she wasn't a fifth as shy about it as most of the humans in the room. In fact, she looked like a disapproving parent.
"Although it's a wonderful offer, I'm sure you'll have enough trouble keeping yourself caught up in class," he added condescendingly. He would turn out wrong, unfortunately. "Anyway, why don't you introduce me to your friend. I introduced you to Maya." He smiled at Seth in a very "you're next" fashion.

It's perfectly fine, glad you're feeling better. Well, good enough to rp ^^ )
"Ha, think that if it helps you sleep at night." Will shot back. Seemingly getting that last word in the argument he turned and waved at Seth "This is Seth, he's basically my best friend." Seth didn't look comfortable with the look the Lux had shot him but nodded to him. He wasn't going to back down now. Will couldn't be the only one comfortable around the vampires. The humans and vampires alike really needed to open up to each other if anything was going to come from the experiment.
"Nice to meet you I guess. It's impressive if anything that Will here thinks enough of you to argue with." he didn't know what to say and just blurted out what came to mind. It was true. Will didn't argue with anyone he thought that was less or under him in any way "And 'basically? There are a select few who can handle you for prolonged amount of times. I am your best friend." he looked slightly annoyed at his friend, but there was a fond look on his face.
