Yes. Yes, I very much did. Eh, that's not even the worst they could have done. Granted, my opinion on her fanbase is very poor, but that's largely due to some... takes I have witnessed in the past. Very true. I could have hit her with a chair, but I didn't. I'm proud of me for that reason, too.

I also recall a claim that not only was Ash > Bramble, but "Ashfur was helping Squirrelflight out of Brambleclaw's abuse".
I had to reread the discussion to make sure they weren't talking about an AU; I wish I hadn't.

People that refuse to acknowledge that Mapleshade herself is also a victim. When people completely "villainize" Bramblestar for the sake of making other characters look better. Speaking of which, people that think Squirrelflight is an angel, and can't do anything wrong. Nightheart being called misogynistic just because the majority of the characters that treat him like crap are she-cats. People that think she-cats can't be shitty characters?? Jayfeather x Stick joke (it's been years, I'm tired of it.) When people think Twigbranch and Finleap should have kits now because Finleap has been on his "best behavior" lately?? When people make old writing inconsistencies surrounding pairings out to be "creepy" when it's really just a lack of foresight on the Erins part and not intentional. Times change and so do perceptions of writing. When people think the Sisters in any shape or form were justified in how they behaved toward the clans. People that say Nightcloud used Crowfeather and didn't put any effort into the relationship whatsoever?? Which has always baffled me. I feel like people forget Crowfeather was still into her even after she broke things off with him. People claiming that Curlfeather dying to save her own daughter was also part of her big master scheme as well, which just doesn't make sense at all.

Why did people say Bluestar deserved the Df????? She barely did anything wrong. Apart from having kits with someone outside her clan, Snowkit's death was a mistake which she regretted for the rest of her life, and she only brought Mistykit and Stonekit to Riverclan to PROTECT them. How is that bad?? Like- I guess she was a bad cat for having the kits in the first place, but like, that's hardly DF material?? i don't think she deserved the df but the reason i think she's not a good cat is thrushpelt

The Sisters are not sexist I see this take float around sometimes and just cannot believe my eyes. it infuriates me that people joke about the sisters saying like “omg they’re such girl bosses though!” like? kidnapping two innocent cats, maiming characters, and actively kicking out male kits isn’t funny or “girlboss”. Backpedaling off these two responses since I'm in the middle of reading Tree's Roots and the Sisters as a group are so fundamentally flawed it makes me have to physically stop reading for a while and shake my head. (Spoilers for the book btw. Still haven't finished reading it so I may get details wrong) Are you actually so wound up in your traditions that you're sending off two "full grown" toms (six moons old but whatever, apprentice aged) into the night where the conditions were perfect for a storm without any prior knowledge to outside territory. A storm so bad that STREAM GETS STRUCK BY LIGHTNING?!
Also Tree (Earth at the time) would've never known if his sister Ice recovered from her sickness unless he hadn't gone deliberately looking for the Sisters. The fact that he wouldn't have been able to know if his littermate lived onl because he's a tom infuriates and chills me to no end.
I may have this detail wrong but the Sisters also move their campsite nearly days after they send their toms on the wanders. Every time. Unless some crisis involving weather or a she-cat hinders them from doing so. So the time have no idea where they are regardless unless they once again, look for them deliberately. I'm so ticked off on my gossh Moonlight is probably my least favorite character now. I'm so fed up with her excuses. All my homies hate The Sisters

She didn't have to return Thrushpelt's feelings, nor was she obligated to. Thrushpelt is amazing, don't get me wrong; but it's not his or her fault they never became mates. Thrushpelt willingly chose to be a surrogate father to her kits, Bluefur wasn't going to make him. That was his decision, and I applaud him for it. Really, the only thing that's really tragic is that he never knew what happened to his kits until he died and joined StarClan.

Another point for consideration: If at any point Thrushpelt went into battle with Riverclan and Misty+Stone were fighting there's a good chance he wouldn't be able to attack them as, like you said, he raised them as his own. If he refused to attack them it'd open up a whole new can of worms which would out what Bluestar did. And even if she told them 'they're alive' but didn't say where or how, is there any way he wouldn't want to search for them? Like imagine that you think your children have been brutally killed, but then the parent you know says "oh yeah dw they're alive" but refuses to tell you where they are or what actually happened -- that would drive anyone mad. While I agree that it was absolutely difficult on him there were too many factors that could have endangered her and/or the kits if anyone other than her or Oakheart knew.

When people say they want the old Starclan back but also hate when they just give a very vague prophecy and dip.
Which one do you want: Starclan who was a mysterious force from the first series that gave vaguely worded prophecies or the new Starclan that's allowed to judge cats and meddle in real cat's affairs?

For me, it's the take that Bramblestar doesn't have abusive tendencies. I get that his whole character got nuked for the plot, but what's written on the page is still very similar to abuse in real life. You can still like him as a character (I do as well), but we should at least acknowledge it.

I forgot to mention a pretty big one, people who think being abusive is the same as punishing a lower rank for rule-breaking. I feel like people don't seem to understand that when a member obviously does stupid things, especially something that affects the whole clan, they're going to be punished. This has always been a thing. Why is it suddenly labeled as abuse when the two cats in question are mates? Do people think one cat should be able to use their status as the higher-ranking member's mate to get away with breaking the rules?? It always baffles me, especially in the case of Bramble and Squirrel.

This has always been a thing. Why is it suddenly labeled as abuse when the two cats in question are mates? Yeah, this one gets me a little too. If you're going to make an argument about Bramblestar being abusive, at least use proof that isn't literally how the rules of their society work. Leaders have to punish individuals who break the rules, that's how it's always been. It wasn't abusive when Firestar made Leafpool step down, for example.

It's because people make the argument that Bramblestar always had power over her in the relationship. Squirrelflight was barely a warrior when they got together and then Bramblestar became deputy, then leader. They claim he was abusing that power over her in SqH by holding the deputy position over her head. Like, if it had been any other cat, they would have been demoted and have their loyalty questioned for sneaking off.

The Sisters are not sexist I see this take float around sometimes and just cannot believe my eyes. They aren't sexist though. Sorry to say, but this is what happens irl cat groups. I know what real cats act like. The sisters are still sexist in the context of the Warriors characters being very humanized versions of cats. Sure, they have typical cat characteristics as well as behaviours such as hunting, patrolling their territory and so on. But the Clans don't live like actual cats do and also literally have an organized religion, magic powers and whatnot.
