Callan can't sit in a chair properly.
Julius stole a lollipop at the checkout when he was 5 and he still feels guilty about it.
Tahvo is afraid to close his eyes in the shower.
Vincent is awful with technology and doesn't know how to use a smart phone.

If Jasmine was presented with an intergalactic portal, she would enter it without question. Serik almost drank the lethal dosage of caffeine once.
Néo sucks at saying tongue twisters.
Agnar likes board games, but no one else wants to play with him.

Konstantin has been cancelled on Twitter.
Akakios nearly drowned in a river as a child.
Nereus likes to eat straight coffee beans. And for my two unused characters: Nadine has a pet lizard.

No quotes today (though I'm gathering up some and might post them on one of the next few days) but instead that damn question thing I already did with everyone else. Since I have a new character I had to fill out that thing for him too. So yeah, here's the same old questions again, this time with Serik Does your character have siblings or family members in their age group? Which one are they closest with?
Yes, his half-brother Kubrat who is nine years older than him. They barely acknowledge each other as siblings. At first Kubrat was actually nice to him, even after it was revealed that Serik had no crest. But he soon followed his parents' example and began to shun him. Serik always tried to get his brother's attention and to get him to play or train with him but Kubrat always turned him away and sometimes when just acting cold and ignoring him didn't work he would use force to get Serik to stop pestering him. Kubrat doesn't miss his brother at all and believes their parents were right to get rid of him. Serik resents his brother but also still clings to the few memories of Kubrat having been nice to him.
What is/was your character’s relationship with their mother like?
The second she found out that he had no crest she began to see him at a burden at first and then as a danger to not only their noble house but also their land, thinking his lack of a crest is a sign from the goddess that he's not supposed to exist. Katia never showed any kindness to him and often watched him with suspicion. Serik, not knowing any show of affection from her, soon grew used to this and never felt close to her. He always had to walk on eggshells around her as she'd see every wrong word or action, no matter how small, as proof of him plotting against his family and the people on their land. He has a good relationship with his adoptive mother. Sometimes he wonders why Zarina is a so much better mother to him than Katia had ever been, thinking there must be a good reason why the family he was born into didn't love him.
What is/was your character’s relationship with their father like?
He doesn't know who his father is and neither does Goran know about Serik. If they met it would be super awkward but Goran would not be opposed to getting to know his son and Serik is also pretty curious about his father. While Paskal had accepted him as his own he never was a good father to him. Just like his wife he feared that Serik's lack of a crest meant that the goddess didn't approve of him. He always ordered a servant, guard or knight to keep an eye on the boy to make sure he wasn't planning anything nefarious. Serik often snuck out into town as he couldn't stand being supervised all the time. Sometimes whoever was watching him caught him immediately or let him wander around for a bit before bringing him back home where his father, mother or brother would punish him for sneaking out and all three would then ask him and his supervisor about what he had done outside to make absolutely sure that he wasn't doing anything bad. He has a good relationship with his adoptive father though sometimes he wishes Dias would stop taking him along whenever he travels to Faerghus as he finds the whole merchant thing boring. At the same time he is grateful that he's giving him more freedom than Paskal ever had as Dias often encourages him to explore the town they're visiting a little.
Has your character ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them? If so, does anyone else know?
His family ordered one of their knights to kill him to appease the goddess, which was already bad enough, and a couple years later he found out that they had been completely unjustified and had blamed him for something he had nothing to do with.
On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets? Gold, some arrowheads, a whetstone, a dagger. Does your character have recurring themes in their dreams?
Ever since he had been sent to live at Garreg Mach his dreams are often about being back in his home village in Duscur.
Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?
He tends to have two kinds of nightmares. One about being shoved off that cliff into the sea while the knight who had been ordered to do so gave a prayer to the goddess, asking her to accept the sacrifice. Even now he remembers the exact words. His other nightmares are about the agarthan (well, "creepy person" and "figment of his imagination" as he calls it as he doesn't know about the agarthans) he once saw. In his dreams this person often turns out to be a shapeshifter, turning into a huge beast or dragon that slowly walks towards him to either crush him with its fangs or rip him apart with its claws and its gaze freezing him in place so he can't get away.
Has your character ever fired a gun? If so, what was their first target?
Nope.
Is your character’s current socioeconomic status different than it was when they were growing up? Yup.
Does your character feel more comfortable with more clothing, or with less clothing? Slightly more I think but also not too much as he feels hindered by it. In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been? The moment he realized just what his parents had ordered their knight to do. At first he had thought he was just going to drop him off somewhere and that his family had "only" banished him from their town. Standing on that overhang looking at the sea below made him realize that his parents really did want him dead.
In what situation was your character the most calm they’ve ever been?
Pretty much anytime he works with one of his adoptive parents. As boring as he thinks his father's occupation is he loves spending time with him. He enjoys working alongside his mother a lot more though as getting their boats ready and rowing out to catch some fish is way more fun and fulfilling to him.
Is your character bothered by the sight of blood? If so, in what way?
Unless it really is a lot it doesn't bother him and even then it's only if its his own or from one of his friends.
Does your character remember names or faces easier?
He's good with both.
Is your character preoccupied with money or material possession? Why or why not?
Not all that much. He'd hate to have nothing at all of course but he's also not interested in accumulating more and more.
Which does your character idealize most: happiness or success?
A bit of both but he probably idealizes happiness more.
What was your character’s favorite toy as a child?
He often played with sticks when he snuck outside when he still lived in Faerghus. In Duscur he played with a bow instead which soon became his weapon of choice.
Is your character more likely to admire wisdom, or ambition in others?
Wisdom.
What is your character’s biggest relationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before?
His distrust of nobles and disdain for anyone who thinks crestbearers are special as he always sees the worst in them. It hasn't really destroyed relationships for him yet but it made some people wary of him.
In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation, or self-criticism?
Mostly for self-criticism. Unless he dislikes someone, then he compares himself to them for self-validation.
If something tragic or negative happens to your character, do they believe they may have caused or deserved it, or are they quick to blame others?
He's quick to think that he deserves it.
What does your character like in other people?
Honesty, kindness, when they take their responsibilities seriously, bravery, when they can speak their minds regardless of the other person's higher standing.
What does your character dislike in other people?
When they feel superior because they have a crest, anyone who is superstitious, when they speak highly about nobles they don't really know, when they blindly follow every order.
How quick is your character to trust someone else?
If they're part of a group he sees as good he's pretty quick to trust them. With others it takes a bit longer. Though he rarely trusts anyone fully enough to tell them about his past.
How quick is your character to suspect someone else? Does this change if they are close with that person?
He's usually neither too quick nor too slow to suspect someone but if he's close to them or thinks those associated with them are trustworthy he can take a bit longer to be suspicious of them.
How does your character behave around children?
He's kind to them and will look out for them. It's easy for them to get him to play with them, tell them a cool or fun story or to otherwise entertain them.
How does your character normally deal with confrontation?
He normally keeps his cool and neither backs down nor flies off the handle. Unless whoever he's dealing with truly makes him angry, then he might go for personal attacks.
How quick or slow is your character to resort to physical violence in a confrontation?
When he really despises the other person he's very tempted to just resort to physical violence but he can always control his anger enough. He might try to pick a fight with the other person though and provoke them so he has an excuse to hit them.
What did your character dream of being or doing as a child? Did that dream come true?
That his family would love him and that he could somehow earn their respect. He would often pray to the goddess begging her to change her mind and give him a crest like the rest of his family. And of course none of that came true.
What does your character find repulsive or disgusting?
Cowardice, cruelty, blind obedience, the belief that crestbearers are more valuable than crestless people, the sense of superiority some nobles have, irresponsibility in leaders, unfairness, especially from people who are supposed to look our for others.
Describe a scenario in which your character feels most comfortable. When he's just doing some mundane tasks, like weapon maintenance, fishing, helping our in the greenhouse, doing some repairs on small boats, target practice with arrows and magic.

When being asked about his childhood. He hates lying so he just avoids the parts that deal with his life in Faerghus but he fears that some can tell he's not telling them everything and that they will get him to accidentally reveal more than he wants to.
In the face of criticism, is your character defensive, self-deprecating, or willing to improve?
Willing to improve with a bit of self-deprecation.
Is your character more likely to keep trying a solution/method that didn’t work the first time, or immediately move on to a different solution/method?
He'll try again at first to see why it didn't work so he can then figure out what to do differently next time.
How does your character behave around people they like?
Mostly friendly and polite but will become a lot more casual soon. He likes to encourage them, often with some playful teasing but if it's required he'll stop joking around. While he likes to help out anyone he especially loves to do things for those he likes and makes sure they know they can always talk to him if they are troubled.
How does your character behave around people they dislike? Depends on why he dislikes them. Most of the time he still tries to be friendly or at least polite but if they keep being rude he'll be rude to them as well. If he dislikes them because of their views on crests and the nobility however he can be pretty nasty to them and sometimes might even try to pick a fight with them.
Is your character more concerned with defending their honor, or protecting their status?
I'd say his honor. Is your character more likely to remove a problem/threat, or remove themselves from a problem/threat?
He's more likely to try and remove the problem/threat.
Has your character ever been bitten by an animal? How were they affected (or unaffected)?
Nope.
How does your character treat people in service jobs?
He's friendly and respectful to them and will tell off anyone who treats them badly.
Does your character feel that they deserve to have what they want, whether it be material or abstract, or do they feel they must earn it first? He thinks he has to earn it first. That even goes for his current family. While they never gave him any reason to doubt them or himself he thinks he has to show he's worthy of their love.
Has your character ever had a parental figure who was not related to them? Aside from his adoptive parents he sometimes sees some of the knights and professors in such a way.
Has your character ever had a dependent figure who was not related to them?
No. How easy or difficult is it for your character to say “I love you?” Can they say it without meaning it?
I think it wouldn't be all that difficult for him. He could say it without meaning it but prefers not to.
What does your character believe will happen to them after they die? Does this belief scare them? He used to believe they go back to the goddess but over the years he has learned about other gods and belief systems and he's not quite sure which one to believe if at all. He does think that after death everyone who still has a score to settle gets the chance to before they move on to the afterlife.
