Shadow could sense that Frost was tense, and he wished he could comfort her and take her away from the place they now had to call home. It was worse than the alleyway that Azreal had them staying in. He stopped himself from shuddering at the sound of the monsters, and glanced around at the cats that sat around at different places in the alleyway. They all stared at them with the same aggressive stare, and Shadow returned their stares as they made their way down the alleyway. Shadow dipped his head at Henry, “good to see you as well,” he mewed, keeping the white toms gaze. “So, would anyone show us around?” He asked the tom, uninterested in conversation. He wanted to get as comfortable as he could get in the camp area.
Mara nodded and stood next to Brick, looking at her brother as he gave the siblings a glare. She focused her attention on Shadow, watching how his attitude has changed from before. He had begun to be kind to her, actually having conversations and not bickering. She silently hoped that wouldn’t change now.

Frost stayed silent as the two cat's spoke, taking the chance to glance around at their surrounding. She made notes on what cats seemed more involved with the group than others, how they reacted when Henry spoke, any little detail she could burn into her brain. She tried to make it look as if she was bewildered by what was around them, like a lost kit unsure of the world. She hated it, but it had to be done. She could feel Brick's glare intensify as she looked around, she chose to act as though she didn't notice; hoping that he was annoyed rather than suspicious.
Henry nodded, "of course. Mara and Brick will be your escorts until you two are comfortable. I expect that you will adapt quickly to this place." He told Shadow, seeming to be almost unaware of Frost's existence. "Before that, however, I first must know your names. Mara told me you two have refused to tell her."
Frost's attention snapped back to Henry, she hadn't thought about how odd that must have seemed to them. She silently cursed herself, regretting that she had been so stubborn before, "sorry, that was my fault!" She said quickly in a cheery tone, "I was worried, since the group seemed rather....well scary... So I asked Shadow to keep our names a secret." She explained, hushing her voice as she spoke. She could hear some cats laughing slightly at her, but once again, she ignored it.
Henry nodded, "I see, I see. So Shadow," he looked to the black tom and nodded before looking back to Frost, "and you are?"
"Frost." She responded, dipping her head.
"Shadow and Frost, I see, well, I'm sure both of you will find our group...less scary in due time." He purred, nodding to Brick and Mara to escort them.

Shadow dipped his head at Henry, he had hopes to quickly gain the leader's trust, and he knew if Henry felt respected it could be rather easy. He turned away from the leader and faced Mara, completely ignoring Brick. “So, you’ll be showing us around?” He asked and gave her a smile. He had been acting rather differently than before, and Mara’s stare was saying it without words. But it didn’t matter, this was who he had to be and Mara would have to get used to it.
Mara kept her face straight at Shadow, not budging a smile. “We will be.” She added and gave Brick a side eye as she spoke, “this is obviously where Henry hangs out and where his nest is- or whatever you want to call it,” she mewed referring to the boxes that stacked up against the fence at the end of the alleyway. They’ve had to do with what two legs have left, they have left garbage and old furniture that once thrashed the alleyway. But the group did with what they had to make it as nice as they could, not that they cared about it being nice. “Did Henry show you where they will be staying? He didn’t show me,” Mara added to Brick before continuing to show the siblings the rest of the “camp.”
Shadow observed Henry’s nesting area, it was clear that the bottom area of the stack was his nest. It looked cozy to his surprise, he and Frost slept on the hard asphalt when they stayed with Azreal, maybe this would be much different than that. He looked at Frost with an uneasy gaze, this place looked trashed and he was disappointed that he let his sister come to such a place. Maybe Aspenheart was right all along, I don’t protect her well enough. He wanted to look down and let the guilt consume him, but cats were staring at him from various angles and he had to keep his image. He nudged her and gave her a smile, maybe with all the two leg objects the rogues have found they’ll get a better nesting area than he thought.

"Of course he did." Brick said quickly, seeming offended that Mara had even asked. Unlike his sister, he contributed to the group. He was respected and feared. He acted as Henry's second in command, something that was earned, not given. Mara was simply allowed here just because of her relations, but Brick thrived here because of his skills. The red tom glanced to the two cats. He disliked the black tom, saw him more as a threat than anything. He couldn't understand why his father would bend over backwards just to have this cat in their group. There was no way that the the tom would stay loyal to a group that he was force to join. The she-cat, he was less worried about, she seemed to just be following her brother like a kit. She already admitted to be scared of the group, he was sure that just snapping at her to keep her in line would be fine. The tom started moving back the way they came, "come on." He said, guiding the cats through the alley. He turned onto a another alley that was connected, empty wooden boxes, worn down from the weather sat at the end. They were the vague shape of a den, opened on one side, stacked up on top of each other. " We sleep in these. The higher your rank, the higher you sleep. Henry wants you two to sleep at the top though...Due to your special recruitment. Though if either of you mess up, I will make sure you two will be sleeping at the bottom with the rats."
Frost looked up at the structure, feeling a bit surprised. It was several odd boxes on top of each other, a larger amount on the bottom and only one at the top; reminding her of a tree. The lowest, ground level box clearly sat in water often, brownish green staining along the bottom of it's walls. The odd, pale moss-like material in it was worn out and browned. She was glad that they were given special treatment, the top looked much nicer and well care for in comparison. She was so busy staring that she almost didn't notice Brick staring at her. She glanced over, she gave him a friendly smile, "thank you!" She forced herself to purr, pressing into Dusk as she attempted to regain her weak image. This would be harder than expected.
"Take a look then I'll show you the rest of our territory."

Shadow followed the red tom but stayed close to Frost. He knew she was putting on a front to be scared, but he still had a feeling to protect her. Once Brick stopped and showed them their nest he observed it, ignoring the toms nasty words. Brick obviously doesn’t like Shadow, so it turns out they have similar feelings towards each other. He scoffed at the red toms last comment, you’ll wish we messed up. He then changed his expression and dipped his head just a bit, “alright, show us the rest of the camp,” he mewed after observing their den far enough. We wanted to see where they hunted, what kind of rubbish food they would have to be dealing with.
Mara stood about a tail length away from Brick, he may be her brother but the tom wasn’t near the brother that Shadow was to Frost. The difference is that Brick would let her get hurt, she wasn’t protected and all she had was herself. She kept quiet, clearly he had it under control and every time she spoke he shot her a glare.

Brick huffed and walked back the way they came, the alley was like a maze, but that was part of what made it safe, "we are between several twoleg nests, sometimes they wander in here but they usually leave us alone." He advised them, not wanting to have to deal with them if they panicked about a twoleg showing up. Sometimes the twolegs would give them food, but often they were just passing through. "Make sure to memorize where everything is. I'm not going to show you again." He added as they emerged from the alleyway. He jumped up onto a fence, and then onto a twoleg nest with easy, walking along the ledge, not waiting for the siblings.
Frost felt anxious about being up so high, but she did not hesitate to jump up. It reminded her of the fence she was pushed off of, but she urged away the thoughts. She still couldn't help but shake, her legs felt unsteady. She pressed on however, making sure her brother was behind to catch her if she were to lose her balance.
It wasn't long before the red tom climbed to the very top of the twoleg nest, trotting across the structure until he stopped and sat down. "This is the only time I will share with you two." He snapped, motioning to a nest of bird eggs. It was by far the best food they could get when they were away from the twoleg half brides. Nothing could compare to the fresh fish there. There were five eggs, he took two, motioning that he would allow Mara to eat as well. It was a rare act of kindness, but that was because Henry had told him to provide them with special treatment. He ate his quickly, almost not seeming to chew. He then glared at the cats, urging them to hurry.
Frost stared at the eggs for a moment, they occasionally ate duck eggs, but the scent of the twoleg place was heavy on these. She gave in, feeling Brick's stares on her back, and quickly ate hers. The bitter taste of the twoleg place coated her mouth, she wished to have another bite of that fresh squirrel that Dusk had caught back in the forest, "thank you."

Shadows' stomach sank when Brick jumped onto the fence, he could sense Frost’s stress and got close behind her. Hoping to reassure her that he would catch her if anything happened. He watched her shake the whole way up as worry tugged at his scruff as he scrambled close behind her. Shadow stayed close as they walked on top of the two leg nest, looking around and observing what he could see while he was high up. But Brick quickly got Shadows' attention when he offered to share eggs with them, “oh you’re too kind,” he scoffed and grabbed an egg. Eggs were never in his interest, but he slurped it down without a flinch and sat down. To his surprise Frost seemed to enjoy hers, but as far as he could remember she liked eggs.
(Mara being a quiet weirdo and eating her egg lol)

When the cats were done eating, Brick continued along the top pf the twoleg nest, eventually making his way back down to a different alleyway. "This is the best place to catch mice." He said as they walked through, his pace rather quick, not wanting to waste time. They soon reached a thunderpath, instead of looking down however, he looked up, "those lights tell twolegs when to walk." He said. When the light turned red, he looked around quickly, and raced across, ignoring the twoleg that was calling at the group. "Pigeons can be found at the green place over there, but there are dogs during the day." He told them, motioning to what looked like a small forest with small thunderpaths in it. He soon jumped up on another fence, then to the top pf a twoleg nest, "there's another group that is trying to move this border. We used to have more territory but they took it many moons ago." He explained.
Frost took note of everything that Brick said, trying to not get distracted by the twolegs and monsters around them. She hesitated when they climbed up again, but feigned confidence as they walked along the top of the twoleg nest. She turned her head, and her eyes widened as she looked to the distant horizon. Water, just like at islet clan. She didn't know that the water reached all the way over here. She came to the conclusion that the water at Isletclan just be the same body of water that was at the old camp they found. "If there's water over there, why don't you fish instead of going where there are dogs?" She asked, figuring that it was within her character to ask such a question.
"They have the whole area, from here to the water." He snorted back, clearly annoyed that she interrupted him. They continued to walk for a while, eventually ending up back at the alley. "That's the border, learn it. You two will have to start patrols as soon as Henry feels he can trust you."

Once they made it back to the main alleyway Shadow turned around to talk to Mara, but before he could say a word she looked at him and jumped down from the two leg nest. Something told him her behavior was odd but he had no time to find out. He turned back to Frost and signaled for her to jump down into the alleyway, “might as well go to our den. Doesn’t look like we have friends to make,” he teased, but knew it was true. He jumped down after her and trotted down the alleyway to the place where their den was, he could still feel the eyes of the rogues burning into his pelt. Shadow tried his best to ignore the stares, but it was irritating him more than he wanted to admit. “Well this isn’t too bad right?” He asked her, trying to sound serious but felt like he still sounded sarcastic. He glanced up a bit, focusing his gaze at the end of the alleyway to see Brick stood by Henry eyeballing them.

Frost glanced around the nudged her brother to be close enough to speak, "it would be best if we laid low for a while. No one will trust us right now." She told him, though her face and body did not match what she was saying. She was finding this difficult, acting how she was, but she knew that her usual personality would not be welcomed here at all. She had to make sure that she perfected her act, and soon or they would be in trouble. She pulled away from her brother, "why don't we go rest then, we need to learn the layout of the place and soon." She suggested with a smile, her legs were still shaking from being up so high, but she tried her best to hide it from Dusk.

(Few day skip)
Shadow woke to Frost pressed against him in the crate, they both had been sleeping closer to each other ever since coming to the two-leg place. He could tell everything was bugging Frost, and he silently promised her that this wouldn’t be forever. The sounds of the monsters and two-legs no longer bothered him, even though it has only been a few days he could remember how it was staying in the two-leg place before. This was much better being so high up, unlike how Azreal had them sleeping on the ground and every monster that drove past shook the ground. He shook the thoughts away and stood up, nudging Frost to wake. “Morning..” he mewed as he looked around the alleyway, the sun was only barely shining on the two-leg dens and only a few cats were awake. Shadow hadn’t made any friends, which he was completely fine with. What he wasn’t fine with was that Mara had been completely avoiding him, but he denies it in his mind that he cares. “Come on, I’m hungry,” he urged Frost, hoping it would cause her to get up.

Frost was slow to wake up, she had a hard time falling asleep ever since they came here. She recalled the monsters, lights and strange scent from before, but sleeping in a den with odd cats made it hard to sleep peacefully. She was always ready for an attack, even when Dusk shielded her from the others. She stood up and nodded, leaving the crate without a sound, she glanced around the alley. Most cats were lounging around without a care; the ones that were actively working were the youngest and weakest. If it wasn't for Dusk, she feared that she would have become like them, she had to find another way to protect herself. Her being so associated with him would only hurt his ability to climb up in the ranks. She turned to Dusk and smiled, "where to, Shadow?" She asked quietly, feeling eyes staring at them as she spoke. They needed a chance to communicate without others around, but they were almost always followed, it was a pain. Brick was by far the worst, constantly testing Dusk, while Mara has been almost non-existent since they came. While Frost wasn't concerned for the she-cat, she did worry for her brother, who seemed upset by it.

Shadow shrugged as he led the way out of the alleyway and onto the sidewalk. He didn’t like to go on the roof tops since Frost seemed so frightened over it. He looked over to her, “we can either catch mice or chase pigeons,” he mewed teasingly before looking behind him to see if any cat had followed them. So far there was no sight of anyone, but they also liked to take the rooftops so they could never be so sure. The advantage about being up so early was there were barely any two-legs on the streets. They were either mean and scared them off or gave them food, and boy was the food good.

"Or mice." Frost corrected. She didn't fancy the pigeon place- too many dogs. The only way to get away from them was to climb a tree, which sometimes made her freeze up. The she-cat trotted after her brother, she wanted to talk to him about the group, but she could sense that they were being followed. She twitch her ear, trying to make sure her brother was aware of it as well. So far, she had no luck with finding information, cats didn't trust her. That was good in a way though, it meant that whenever she did get info, it was more likely to be true. She mostly spent her days attached to her brother, occasionally trying to talk to Mara or Brick when she could. It was troublesome to say the least but there was very little else they could do, "we should catch a mouse for Henry." She suggested quietly. Surely Henry wouldn't say no to a good piece of prey.

Shadow directed his path to the alleyway that was filled with mice while listening to Frost, “I suppose, but you're giving it to him.” He mewed with a bit of surprise, though he understood it was to make him trust them more. So that he can see that they are a contributive aspect to the group. He turned down the alleyway that looked empty, but there were many mice scuffling across the asphalt. Shadow looked around and behind him once more, then he glanced up to see if any cats were peering down. He could tell Frost wanted to speak to him, but he could never trust that they were alone. “Well, everything’s not too bad I guess,” he whispered to her as they walked deeper into the alleyway.

Frost's ears pinned back at his words, but she soon sighed and nodded. Agreeing to his terms, "fine, but we have to play it up that it was big deal that I caught it." She told him as they turned to the mouse alley, "and you can't tease me about it later." She added with a stern tone, her puffy tail swishing as she spoke. When they were near were the mice normally were, she became quiet, not wanting to disturb them. When they got close enough, she lowered herself, stalking a mouse that was at the entrance of the twoleg nest. Unlike in the forest, the mouse seemed unaware of it's surroundings. She easily got close enough and pounced, killing it with ease. She turned to her brother with a grin, the mouse hanging from her mouth.

Shadow rolled his eyes at Frost teasingly before standing still to watch her catch a mouse. He walked forward after she made her catch, “look at you go!” He mewed in an excited tone but sarcastic enough for her to know he’s teasing her. He then crouched down himself, ready to catch his own, and probably a few more for the group. Once he had caught a few he walked to the middle of the alleyway and eyeballed Frost, “I caught like.. five mice,” he mewed to her, curious as to if she was ready to get back. The sun was shining brightly now, and surely most of the group was up, which meant Henry would be up most likely wondering where they were.

Frost rolled her eyes, "wow, congrats." She said in a sarcastic tone. If there was a cat watching them, she had to keep her hunting success rate low. It was damaging to her pride, that was for sure, "can't wait to see how thankful the group is." She muttered under her breath. Very few in the group even gave their thanks, something that nearly caused her to snap at a few of them. She wanted to change so much, but she couldn't. She could only sit back and watch as mistake unfolded in front of them. It made her pelt itch, and her tail puff up. Getting called 'Rabbit' was starting to lose it's charm quickly. She picked up her one mouse, but switched it with one of Dusk's that looked more impressive, but then switched it back again. She couldn't catch impressive mice right now. "Let's go." She ordered, though she caught herself walk with a little too much confidence and put back on the cheerful, innocent demeanor she had adopted as they traveled back to the group. When they entered the alley, she went to Henry's den right away, ignoring the cats that tried to hiss at her to stop- acting as though she was in her own world.
Henry looked down from his tower, his tail flicking to let the siblings in, "let them in." He ordered, watching the two cats, "what is it?"
Frost looked to Dusk and then back to Henry, dipping her head and placing the mouse down. "I wanted to say thank you, for welcoming us in your group." She told the cat, pitching up her voice as she always did when speaking to one of the rogues. She looked to Dusk again, hoping that her acting was good enough, "I-I caught a mouse for you." She added.
"Mice." Henry corrected, motioning to the mice that Dusk had, "very kind of you."
Frost glanced to Dusk again, she had miscalculated, and expect too much of Henry yet again. How could one cat be so greedy. "Yes," She responded, maintaining eye contact with her brother, "Shadow and I wanted to give these to you, as our thanks." She added sweetly. She wanted to hiss at him, scratch that smug expression off his face, but she knew that they couldn't.

Shadow gave Frost a side eye before he set the mice in front of Henry, ungrateful flea-bag. He observed the tom for a moment, his scruff was scraggly and if his fur wasn’t so long his bones would show. Their plan would work easily, Shadow was young and well trained, Henry won’t have a chance. “Our pleasure,” he mewed bluntly before turning around, flicking his tail for Frost to follow. He jumped down from the crates and padded past Brick, returning the glare that the tom was giving them. Irritation flooded Shadows mind, that mouse brain of a leader didn’t even care to keep his own cats full. Some were so skinny their bones showed, some were plump and practically looked like kitty pets. It didn’t equal out, something wasn’t right that the leader hadn’t shown them yet. There was a small stack of crates in one corner of the alleyway that no cat hung around, so he made his way over to it and jumped on top of the crates. “I don’t care to hunt again,” he mumbled as he laid down, setting his head on his paws as he looked around the alleyway. The others just couldn’t get enough of them, at least the way they stared made it seem like it.

Frost followed her brother closely, "I'm so sorry." She whispered to him, feeling guilt for what happened. She climbed up beside him, pressing into his pelt, "I didn't take that into account. I should have thought about it more. I'm just worried that we will never get to...be accepted." She said, trying to use her words carefully. Even a cat that seemed to be asleep could be listening in to conversations. they had only been here for a few days, but they already saw what happened to disobedient cats. She was about to apologize again when she heard paw steps, she turned her head to see Brick with one of the mice in his mouth.
"This was the one you caught, right?" He asked, placing it down in front of the crate, "be more careful with you food." He added, ignoring Dusk as he spoke. He gave Frost a nod before turning and leaving.
"Thank you." Frost mewed back, though her expression was cold. She got a bad feeling from that cat. Something wasn't right; the act of kindness wasn't one without expectations for something in return, she could feel it. The gleam in his eyes were similar to Azreal whenever she would show them any kindness or affection. "You can have that." She to her brother quickly under her breath, no longer feeling hungry. She watched Brick walk away for a moment longer, "brother," she said quietly, "I think I've found us an in."

Shadow shook his head and pressed his muzzle on Frosts pelt, “don’t be sorry,” he reassured her. There was no need to be sorry, all of these cats were unpredictable and unreadable. Suddenly Brick appeared with the mouse, talking nonsense. Just like Shadow was thinking, unpredictable. But he watched Brick's odd act of kindness, the red tom didn’t even look at him. He gave Frost an odd look after she spoke, confusion clouding his mind. He tried to figure out what she was going to say but she was too smart for him to analyze, “tell me,” he mewed interested in her comment. There was clearly something that she caught onto that he did not, but surely she’d share with him. Shadow then looked at her with wide eyes, “no.”

Frost crocked her head at his response, "what do you mean by no? It's a perfect plan." She responded with a neutral tone, glancing back to where the red tom was a few moments ago. She then looked back at her brother, leaning in close as she spoke, "he is Henry's second in command and son." She reminded him, looking at this situation as a puzzle, it made perfect sense to her to use all the pieces that have been given to her. After all, what was a better way to get honor and respect for herself and her brother than to play nice with Brick. "I'm not becoming his mate, I'll just be...Friendly." She added with confidence, keen on the idea of being useful again. She had expected herself to be able to pull the strings for Dusk to become successful, but her efforts have become fruitless. This was her chance to get them accepted into the group, and to gather more information. "The sooner we deal with this, the sooner we can go back to the forest. I don't feel like spending Leaf-bare here, do you?"

Shadow huffed and looked away, “fine.. I get it. You better not end up being his mate though,” he mewed seriously and looked back to her wide eyed still. The thought of Brick and Frost ever being mates made him shudder, the tom would never be good enough for his sister. As he thought about it more the more he realized Frost was a genius, this plan would work quicker than anything else. But his thoughts quickly found Mara, making him wonder what he had done wrong again. “Also.. I know you don’t like Mara.. But do you see anything that I did wrong to be ignored?” Shadow asked his sister curiously.

Frost was pleased that he seemed to understand her plan. "Trust me when I say that would never, ever happen." She assured him. She had zero interest in any cat. She would content to just live her life happily in the woods. Brick was far from appealing to her, he was slimy, she could tell that he was as dishonest as can be. Such a cat would never become her mate. Her ears pinned back when he mentioned Mara. She shook her head, "you did nothing wrong, but she would have no reason to bother with us now that we're here." She told him, giving her honest opinion. She was sure that Mara was sent just to 'make friends' with them. Get them comfortable enough to have them willing to join the group. Though she was sure that it was also a warning. They were always watching them, and she did not doubt that they would have used the she-cat as an example of what were to happen if they had tried to run away. "I don't know her, but I don't trust her. She is just Henry's tool."

Shadow nodded, he guessed he expected that answer from her. Mara probably neve wanted to be kind, but shook those thoughts away. “Yea..” he mewed before standing up and jumping down from the crates. He picked up the mouse that Brick brought to Frost and jumped back onto the crates and laid next to Frost. “Are you sure you don’t want it?” He asked her and pushed the mouse near her. The red tom did bring it back for her and she hasn’t eaten anymore than Shadow has.
Sabrina padded around the corner into the alleyway with the mouse she had caught, but she picked up her pace not to be noticed. She trotted over to the usual area she ate her food, where no cats ever hung out. The other cats would always take her prey, especially Henry.. For reasons she didn’t care for, ever since she had been cautious about her food. She walked to the corner and noticed the newcomers on the crates, she put her ears down and approached them, “is it okay if I eat my prey here real quick?” She asked them kindly, hoping they wouldn’t be the type to rip the prey from her.

"I'll pass." She responded quickly, turning her nose away from the mouse. She looked back to her brother, "you are bigger, you need to eat more than I do." She told him, laying down and crossing her paws. She rested her head down and lazily watcher her brother, though her ears were alert. Despite her calm appearance, the she-cat was ready to react at a moments notice. When a she-cat walked up to them, she almost hissed, but had to contain herself. She gave the cat a smile and nodded, "oh, of course." She purred, not getting up from her spot. She recognized the cat as one of the ones that were treated poorly. She slept in the bottom crate and often seemed to be pushed around by the other's. She may be useful, so Frost saw no reason to not be friendly. She glanced to her brother, wanting to make sure that he had the same idea that she did. Friends were powerful, and this cat being such an outcast would probably overhear a lot of useful information, and also provide good tips for them. She could end up being a valuable asset to them.

Shadow shrugged and began to eat the mouse, looking up when the small calico she-cat appeared. He gave her a smile and looked at Frost as she gave him a look, a look he recognized. He kept eating the mouse, liking the idea of being friendly with those who clearly need it. They would be a perfect asset, the more cats that agree that Henry is a terrible leader the better the plan will work out.
Sabrina let out a sigh of relief at the she-cats kindness, hoping she could fit in somewhere. She jumped up onto the crates and walked passed the siblings and laid in the corner of the crates, where the others in the group couldn’t see her. She began to eat the mouse, she looked up in between one of her bites, “what are you names?” She asked them sweetly, “I’m Sabrina,” she added and put her head back down to eat her mouse.

Frost gave her another smile, "I'm frost and this is my brother, Shadow." She said in a cheery tone, motioning to her brother with her ear as she spoke, "it's nice to meet someone friendly." She added, a bit of a test to see if the cat was truly as nice as they seemed. Would they agree, would they defend the group? Frost watched the she-cat with a friendly expression, but she was inspect the cat, looking for any signs of a reaction. She silently hoped the cat was indeed kind and friendly, but after everything that had happened, she doubted that was the case. She probably just saw what happened with Henry and figured that they would be good protection if Brick was willing to return prey to them.

Sabrina looked up at Frost and smiled, “agreed,” she said happily. She never thought she would find friendly cats, even though Shadow looked a bit intimidating. She heard they were siblings so they couldn’t be too far.. well, not in Sabrinas case, so she shouldn’t assume. She finished her mouse and began to clean her paw, feeling comfortable where she was for a moment or two. Sabrina never felt comfortable or safe, but something about the two made her relax a bit.
Shadow returned Sabrinas smile, “nice to meet you,” he mewed and looked at Frost, trying to give her an approving smile. The she-cat seemed genuinely nice, and just like Frost was probably thinking she was full of information. He began to clean his pelt, the mouse felt it did nothing to his stomach. He was too large, and he was used to getting full off of a full grown shrew.

Frost placed her full attention on the calico, finally, it was beginning to look like their plan may end up working, "so, Sabrina, can I ask you some questions? If you don't mind of course." She asked, tilting her head as she spoke, she then shifted slightly, "we aren't from around here, so we wanted to know more about the group. We were loners before we were asked to join." She explained, hoping that the cat would feel obligated to help. Any information would be batter than what they had- which was almost nothing. All they knew was information from Mara, Brick and Henry, non of which she considered to be reliable.
