Much of the clan is upset with Daisyspeckle, as well as Cloudspring. Cloudspring manages to convince Daisyspeckle to return as a medicine cat until she has a fully trained apprentice. Daisyspeckle just hopes one of Featherbreeze’s kits will take interest in the role.

(I believe he was removed from the allegiances temporarily during the fire but forgotten to be put back in. he is still alive since he returns with the other missing cat)
When fox scent is found dangerously close to their borders, Froststar and Stormfeather begin asking for volunteers to lead a patrol to find new territory. They reason that more predators would be scouting for food since the fire and, like the clan themselves, would be growing hungrier by the day.
