She also wasn't the type to talk about her emotions. Since she was just so disinterested with life in the clan, she just didn't have any emotions to feel. Now, she felt a whole deal, and she had no idea what these emotions were, nor why she felt them for Hawkrush only. It was as if her world shifted from being only her to Hawkrush, and so she felt very unbalanced.
"You just look a little uncomfortable..." she meows gently. Another thing that's unusual. Because of her lack of interest, she normally doesn't pick up on things like moods, and yet here she was, watching every microexpression on Hawkrush. It was just too weird. "When did it happen?" |

The bitter cold and sting of his injuries had been pushed to the back of his thoughts. However, as Tawnywave started to sound her opinions again,
In all honesty, the tom didn’t want to talk to anyone else. Hawkrush enjoyed Tawnywave’s company, in one way or another. The small she-cat was a good friend to have, she was pleasant and kind. She was sweet. That pawful of thoughts sent shivers down his long spine, causing his pelt to twitch slightly. A short huff from the tom caused mildly cloudy air to burst in front of his snout, reminding him of the slight cold and reality. His bright orbs (eyes) flickered up to the other for half a second before darting back down to stare at the freezing floor again. Drawing his light tongue over his jaws, carefully and slowly, he spoke once again.
“Probably around Sun-high yesterday.”
Hawkrush's voice was still low. This was no way for a warrior to behave. It was only Tawnywave though, she surely wouldn’t spread around information about Hawkrush being a bad warrior. A small grin crossed his profile, weird sensations tickling the top of his head.

Tawnywave felt rather awkward with her words. She knew she was coming off as a little pushy, but she couldn't seem to help herself. She wanted to be nosy when it came to Hawkrush. Again, she found it quite unsettling Why was she prattling on about his wound for? Surely he'd gone to see Oakwhisper or Cloudpaw already to treat it.
She watched as he glanced up, before returning his gaze to the ground. It was getting much colder now since leaf-bare was coming. She could see the mist of his exhales, as well as when he ran his tongue over his jaws. He looked quite handsome. She still couldn't tell what she was feeling.
"Did you go and see Oakwhisper and Cloudpaw? Have you gotten it treated? You also need to make sure it's clean since it's easy to become infected. Especially if we move further along the shore of the lake to the love fields and tall forest. Those areas are especially muddy and that would make your wound worse. How much does it hurt? Do you want to sit or lay for a bit?" She knew she was just blabbering now. She couldn't help herself. She was incredibly nervous. This was one emotion she could tell. She'd always be nervous when it comes to battles with other cats, other predators and large prey, simply because it's something nearby. Outcome: Blackice will break a bone, but it will only be a fracture that quickly heals. He will be up and about in a week.
Dustleap: #1 Bleeding, #3 Severe, #1 Survive, #1 No Infection.

He shrugged it off as cats being busy and looked over the fresh-kill pile for either the magpie or vole. He had spotted the magpie he had thought of before he saw the vole and it was the perfect size for them as he remembered, so he picked it up off the pile and then began to make his way back to the elders. |

Skywise's azure eyes were mirriored by the similarly colored water which he stared down into. The sun was rising across the water from him, casting silver flashes of it's light upon the lake's surface, just the the silver of his fur. Skywise was one with the lake, his shadow cast back upon the bank as he waited and watched.
Without warning, fur flashing like a star across the sky, Skywise dove into the water. The long, sinuous line of his tail uncurled just before slipping beneath the surface as well.
A long moment passed, the world silent before Skywise's head finally broke the surface, a thrashing fish in his jaws. Long legs kicked casually, his form slipping through the water with barely a ripple left behind. Once at the bank he shook his fur free of any excess water and then picked a rock to lay his catch down. A swift bite and the thrashing ceased.
Sighing deeply Skywise glanced up at the pale blue sky. it was such a nice day to be hunting alone. Still Skywise wasn't going to ask like some lonely tom for company. Instead he turned back to the lake to continue. Palepatch ❀ ♀ ❀ 31 moons

Mossyglen sat nervously picking through his little stash of herbs in the alcove above his next. The day before Oakwhisper had taken him out into the forest so he could find and gather his own personal herbs. Unfortunately finding herbs wasn't his strong suit, in comparison to Cloudpaw's alcove Mossypaw might as well have just gathered some dust. The other apprentice's stroage was almost overflowing at this point.

Oakwhisper looked back to aspenwhisker after a moment of deciding it would be as safe as a normal battlefield. "Aspenwhisker, i need you to stay here and keep cloudpaw safe, while i go check on darkblaze. he's not as young as he used to be." Oakwhisper told the she-cat with a hint of worry in her voice for the old tom. 'and he hasn't moved from the spot he fell in quite a bit,' she didn't voice that thought however, instead she hoped she was wrong and that she could seek her way over to him without the bear noticing her among the field grass with her tan and darker brown fur. She didn't wait for an answer from the she-cat and instead began to make her way carefully toward darkblaze, she did keep an eye on the bear and the two toms currently fighting it not just to know where they were, but also to know when one of them needed a medicine cat.

Redpaw padded back into the elder's cave with magpie and over to the three elder's in question, he heard them speaking to each other, but didn't caught much of what was being said. he set the magpie down where the three of them would each be able to reach and share the bird. "one magpie for three," Redpaw joked adding an odd accent to his voice and a dip of his head, he couldn't quite when he was take or came up with the joke, but he been using it since he first became an apprentice.

They were there for each other at their weakest times, and at their strongest. Their bond was forged over time, and their feelings will never change.
Blackice and Dustleap push the bear further away from both Cloudpaw and Darkblaze. Cloudpaw wakes up quickly. The only reason why he passed out was from the searing pain he felt. Now that he wasn't being moved and dragged along, his dislocated limbs didn't feel that bad. Oakwhisper had only pushed one paw back into its socket, before she had to go check on Darkblaze. Oakwhisper made her way to darkblaze, being careful about making noise or moving to fast, fearing either would attract the bears attention to her or to darkblaze. When she finally reached darkblaze and immediately began to check him over visually first, it worried her seeing no blood or visible injury quite yet. "Darkblaze, are you awake? Can you hear me?" Oakwhisper questioned the old tom announcing her presence to the tom in the process.

"Apart from when were kits and apprentices, the rest of our lives were quite peaceful," Owlsong adds.

If only he was more aware of his surroundings, he wouldn't have been caught by the bear unaware. Darkblaze originally had some moons to go before he died. That, Cloudpaw was sure of. After all, that elderly tom was incredibly healthy and full of life. |

Oakwhisper flatten her ears in remorse as she listened to darkblaze's last words, she had a feeling she knew what kind of injury darkblaze had sustained and according to her late mentor, there wasn't anything she could do for him. "I will tell them what you said, i promise you that." Oakwhisper meant to keep the promise as well, though possibly not until they're back in the camp safe and sound. she took a quick moment before, replying to the last part toward her. "i won't let it weigh me down, i promise that as well, but that doesn't mean i or they won't miss you."
