Pearl's Plot House ~ Open

"Nope," Caley beams. "I'm happy with everything so far. You must be busy, Uncle Bimo. How long will this marriage thing take? Oh, I do have a few new questions now. Um...Where will we live? Can we live somewhere else? No offence, Uncle Bimo, but I think it would be best if we had our own house. You know, for privacy and so we can get to know each other again. And would we need to visit you at any time? And will you be interfering with anything in Yuda's life? I'm just asking because since I'm going to be his husband, I do need to know of your plans for Yuda."

"Sure thing, Uncle Bimo. After this, I'll take Yuda with me to where I'm staying for now. But, maybe relax on the keeping tabs bit? I'll be responsible for him." Caley winks at them both, grinning. "Don't worry. I'll keep my eye on him."

"Sure thing, Uncle Bimo," Caley smiles. He grabs Yuda's hand. "We'll be seeing you later then." He turns, and pulls Yuda with him, as he leaves the office. "A hotel for now. Let's go to your room and grab your things We don't have to bring everything. That'll only happen once we actually get our own house. For now, some clothes will do... and what you need to study."

Caley waits outside. He really wanted to help Yuda pack, but thought he might end up in the way. After all, only Yuda knows where everything goes in his room. Caley looks around the room though. He wanted to understand Yuda a little bit more, and thought the room might give him some insight into who Yuda had become. Yuda seemed prickly and cold at times, but then he'd show such a flushed face that Caley thought him cute. What was that word again? he wonders. Aah! That's right. Tsundere.

Caley smiles warmly as he notices Yuda walking over to him. His phone in his hand, he waves it at Yuda. "Come on, Yuda. My ride is waiting for us at the front door." He grabs Yuda's hand and pulls him all the way to the front door and out. Just before leaving, he shouts incredibly loudly. "Goodbye Uncle Bimo! We're leaving!" He shuts the front door behind them, and continues to pull Yuda to the waiting car. "Hop in. Let's get to the hotel."

"Just a 30 minute drive. It's in the heart of the city. Don't worry. We're not going far. So, where do you want to live? We will need to get a house as soon as possible. Do you have a job? Have any money? We also need to settle who's going to pay for it, and how much... and we will need to decide on whether we want to remodel the house, or completely build a new one to suite our tastes..." Caley looks at Yuda. "I hope I'm not overwhelming you."

"Well, we can start by deciding whether we want to have our first house in the city or the country. You prefer the country, so I don't mind getting a house there. To be honest, I don't really care where we get our house. I can live anywhere. I do prefer to have one in the city and one in the country though. Next we'll have to look at the land available to buy. I'll get in touch with a real estate agent so we can talk about it then. For now, let's just relax."

"I think everything else about the house we can deal with later, since we need a plot of land first. Of course, you can start looking at designs now if you'd like... Are you liking your University? Do you want to change? Or change courses to the education one?" Caley asks.

"That's fine. We should be arriving right about...now." The 30 minutes seemed like 5 when talking to Yuda. Caley steps out, and holds out a hand to Yuda. "Shall we go in?" he asks politely.

Once Yuda emerged from the car, Caley headed inside the hotel. The hotel was made of white marble. Caley walks right up to the reception desk. "Hello, I would like to grab a second key to my room, please." He speaks with a smile, charming the reception lady.

"Of course. What room?" she asks.

"The penthouse on the top floor."

"Can I see your ID please?"

"Sure." Caley shows her his ID. She takes it from him, checks it on the computer records, and smiles up at him. She swipes a card, and hands it over to Caley, along with his ID.

"Here's the key card and your ID."

"Thank you. Have a nice day, ma'am."

"Yes, you too."

Caley turns to Yuda. "Let's go." He hands Yuda the key card. "This is the key card to my penthouse. It will let you in. Don't lose it."

"Let's head up." Caley heads to the elevator, and presses the up button. When they finally entered the elevator, Caley took out his key card, and swiped it against a black rectangular box. He then presses the highest floor. "There are four penthouses on the highest level. One of them is mine. They're numbered 1 to 4, and ours is number 2. You need to swipe the key card here to have any access to the highest level. The button is locked without a key card, which is why you should never lose it."

The elevator reaches the top floor with a ding. Stepping out of the elevator, there were three corridors in the shape of a t-section. At the end of the corridors running horizontal (the one they stepped into), lay two doors. "The door to the left is penthouse 1 and the one to the right is penthouse 3." Caley heads down the verticle corridor. At the end, lay another t-section. "Again, to the left is penthouse 2, and to the right is penthouse 4." Caley turns left. "Each corridor is like a driveway in a sense. It gives the entrance to the penthouses a bit more privacy. It's a lot harder for multiple people to stand around, as the corridors are narrower. It's all for safety." Reaching the door to penthouse 2, Caley takes out the key card again, and swipes it against the door. It beeps, and he pushes down the handle, before pushing the door open. "To leave, we don't need the key card. We can just open it from the inside. The door locks automatically on the outside when it closes. Well, welcome to your new temporary home." The penthouse looked clean. The floor had white tiles, and the walls were white too. The furniture was made of jarrah with a darker finish to contrast the white. "There's a kitchen, a living room, a dining room, four bedrooms and three bathrooms. There's also a library with a study inside. You can study in there if you want."

"You don't have to worry about your dad finding out anything going on in this hotel. It belongs to my family, after all. I did buy this penthouse though, so you're more than welcome to stay as long as you'd like. My room is the very first one to the left. You can choose any of the other three bedrooms. And decorate it in any way you'd like."

"Down that hallway." Caley points to the hallway leading from the living room. "My room's the first from the left. The other three are next one on the left, and the first two on the right." Caley walks over to the TV, and switches it on to the news. "Are you hungry? I can call for food."
