post I -- Introduction, Navigation post II -- Rules, Application post III -- Isle Maps, Locations post IV -- Character Forms
20 years of neglect and silence...
That's been our lives. We've been abandoned, forgotten in the dark and trash, scraping a life from the remnants of one we'd never know.
Or at least, that's what we'd thought.
Transfer students have shown up on the Isle, with no warning or explanations regarding their plans. It's really a guessing game, by this point.

Rules
- Activity -- Everyone knows the rule by now, if you're going to be gone for a while, let me know.
- Characters -- As many as you can handle, really, but also don't go overboard. Guilty as charged.
- Attitude -- We're all friends here, don't be a punk.
- Plots -- Character arcs are fine to come up with on the fly, but please actually warn people of bigger stuff going on. Ask for permission. That sort of thing, if it's plot altering or affects more characters than your own.
- Rating -- We're a bit higher rated on the content scale than usual on WCF, but don't get us deleted and if someone says they're uncomfortable, knock it off.

Isle Map
Political Map
Locations Southwark (Red) -- On the Western side of the Isle of the Lost is the Southwark area. Named for one of the most notoriously criminal areas in London, this crowded area hosts Dragon Hall and it's Mafia. It's one of the better looking parts of the Isle, in part to the nature of the Mafia, and their efforts to build the area up. Notable locations in Southwark include:
- Dragon Hall - Southwark's school, Dragon Hall has the look of an old church or something of the like, gutted to a desolate shell and then refurnished with all matters of things that one would use to educate literal criminals. The mafia will frequently have meetings here, when it requires the whole gang, due to spacing issues.
- Slim Ranch - As the name suggests, this is a ranch run by the Slim family. While the poor nature of the Isle, biologically, makes it difficult to grow and sustain crops, the Slims do their best to some effect, providing a slim (haha) measure of meats, grains, and vegetables to the Isle.
- Big Fork - One of the mafia's many ventures to turn a profit, Big Fork is supplied and ran by Montana Slim, his brother and sister, and their racket. Montana specializes in salsas, and they have a notorious Taco Tuesday.
- Frollo's Crepes - Not as popular with the kids as Big Fork is, but still definitely one of the better places to grab some food in Southwark. Frollo charges a high tab, but it's almost like he isn't cheating you out of your money, the food could be mistaken for fresh sometimes.
- - - -Buchannan (Purple) -- Towards the center of the Isle, in between all the other gangs, lies Buchannan. Named after the similar area of New Orleans, Buchannan is a little less cramped than Southwark, with a small amount of space between some buildings. It hosts Witch School, the magic themed school, and a gang of their own, the Coven. Notable Locations in Buchannan include:
- Witch School - The main school in Buchannan, students here focus on honing their magical knowledge. Or at least...to the best of their abilities, considering they cannot perform it. They also focus on helping and healing others.
- Clubhouse - Meetings and the like are held here, where the coven is concerned. They hang out, hold extra lessons, and stuff like that here.
- Coven Clinic - Where a lot of the action goes down in the coven, this is a place where the healers of Witch School help those in need. They don't work for pay, but often receive donations in the form of clothes and food to help them out.
- Tarragon Tomorrow - An herb shop run by Willa Sanderson, this store supplies many of the medical supplies they use, as well.
- Facilier's Voodoo Emporium - As the name suggests, this is a magic (mostly voodoo) shop run by Dr. Facilier.
- - - - Tortuga (Blue) -- The southernmost area of the Isle, on the docks itself, is known as Tortuga. Named after Captain Salazar's old turf, the area is home to pirates and the school, Serpent Prep. Tortuga isn't doing too good, as far as appearances go. Constant raids from their pirate crew, and the general apathy of the adults have run it down heavily. Notable Locations in Tortuga include:- Serpent Prep - Located in an old fort of some sorts, Serpent Prep is where the delinquents of Tortuga go and learn the skills needed for piracy. It's not used for much other than actual schooling, however, and is vacant after hours.
- Serpent Docks - A set of docks on the eastern part of Tortuga's shoreline, this is where the ships dedicated to the crew are docked. The goblins do not mess with this one often.
- Ships - Salazar's Ship and Crew's Ship, two interconnected boats that are more or less the lifeblood of the crew's social life. The crew hangs out here all the time, and hold their meetings here. They're connected by a rope bridge, for the younger pirates that don't want to make the jump.
- Blackbeard's Smithy - Weapons for protection. Blackbeard runs an armory that supplies weapons to the pirate crew, in return for protection from raids and general hooligan behavior.
- Sparrow's Pub - Tortuga's best -- or at least the most edible -- restaurant on the southern coast. Crew members frequently hang out here.
- Goblin Docks - Like the name suggests, docks run by the goblins. "Supplies" (trash, really) comes in on their boats, and they're pretty much the only way in and out of the barrier. Too bad the goblins suck.
- Transfer Shack - A small shack on the beach, this is the central base for Auradon's diplomatic efforts on the Isle.
- - - -Outlands (Green) -- The farthest northern part of the Isle is more or less an untamed wilderness. The feral pack of children resides here, rejecting civilization and humanity in order to live like the animals they were born to be.
- Desert Cave - A central meeting area for the ferals. It's a shaded cave in the underside of a cliff. Not very luxurious...or at least resembling it, but it's protection from the harshest sun that the Isle has.
- - - Gang Allegiances

Colette "Collie" Jessamine de Vil daughter of Cruella de Vil and Jean-Pierre la Pelt
There were a lot of things about this situation that didn't sit right with Collie, if you asked her opinion, and it had nothing to do with the fact the chairs in the tree house were more splinter than seat.
All jokes aside, she was sitting in the club house with Ian and Willa, which wasn't a problem, save for the subject matter.
Auradon citizens were coming to the Isle of the Lost.
Why? Collie didn't rightly know, truth be told. She could joke all she wanted about the rich kids needing a new place to take a holiday, to try the exotic experience of "slumming it with the peasants", but there were too many variables there. Gaps and leaps in logic that she didn't like. They knew next to nothing about what was on those ships -- at least she and her mob didn't -- apart from that one thing.
They were children.
And this wasn't even told to them, the leaders of the Isle, who, by right, should have a say in this matter. It was told to that old sack of bones in Buchannan, Yen Sid. The Auradon plant that the Buchannan kids claimed was trustworthy and a valid source of information. They just...happened to find out.
Collie didn't like anything about this. But that could be said for a lot of things she encountered. The only thing they could really do was roll with it, it seemed. Just like everything else here. Take what they were given and do their best.
And that they had. Immediately after finding out this news, Collie had assembled her administrators, and they had tackled the problem head on, coming up with the best semblance of a plan that they could muster.
Her eyes were drawn to a spider, moving slowly across the wall, glancing away every few seconds, when it sensed her watching and stopped moving. She just wanted the leggy bastard to keep on moving, get the hell out of her sight.
She hated spiders.
But her attention was drawn from the arachnid when she heard the others climbing up into the tree house.
"So what are we going to do about them?" She didn't need to mince words here. Ian and Willa knew the "them" in question. There was no information that needed to be recapped that she knew and they didn't. Only how they were going to approach this problem. And she had to admit, she was curious about what they had in store. Neither of them were idiots, after all. They'd have cooked up something in the days leading up to now.

b u c h a n n a n Mori Blackbeard, Raf Maldonia and Mino Oldenburg
"Hey watch where you're going!" A clearly irritated voice called out, but the yell had no effect on the perpetrator. It wasn't the only person who yelled about something they did. The blur of white and black hit another adult, pushing them into a nearby cart without care. There was only laughter that followed the wake of destruction.
The young woman made her way through the streets before bursting through the doors of the clubhouse. Curious eyes looked up from their places, friendly faces turned concerned as they took notice of the woman's appearance. She was flushed, her hair was uncharacteristically out of place and it seemed like she couldn't catch her breathe.
Moriena Blackbeard, the woman in question, only had eyes for her best friend. With her leader already gone off to a meeting, her friend was the one she needed to bring this information to. She had been waiting for today for weeks now, after learning about what her former headmaster had been overheard yelling about. She would forever be grateful for the younger Coven members who knew that spying never hurt anyone. It's the only reason they were able to gather any information on the current event of the year, after all.
"They've arrived." Her eyes seemed to spark at the idea, a smile growing on her expression without her say. Mori had a plan of her own, one she was sure her leader wouldn't totally approve of, not that that would've stopped her anyways. Her words seemed to cause a buzz within the room, everyone turning towards another to discuss what it would mean.
She smoothed out a lock of hair out of place while she made her way to her friend's side, "I ran here as soon as they were in sight. We should go say hello." They could leave one of the boys in charge here and greet the new students. As the second, it was up to the older girl in front of her, but Mori knew what her decision would be. It's why her smile hadn't faded. The vibe of the room was energizing, and Mori felt like she could run back to the beach without a misstep.

Buchannan Edelweiss "Del" Grimhilde and Elvira Blight Del didn't mind doing paperwork, assigning classes and looking through the money and the like, but she couldn't say she hated this getting interrupted by her best friend. Especially in regards to the transfers and their arrival.
That had been the one big question mark on the minds of everyone on the Isle, these past few days: why?
If you asked Del, and it has been asked by this point, she believed they didn't belong here. End of story. Sure, they said they'd shown up on their shores peacefully and with friendship in mind, but you know who else said that?
Literally every invading army in the past forever.
That being said, Yen Sid said they were mostly children, and they could probably beat a boat full of children into retreat without too much difficulty.
Besides, its not like they had much to lose, here. At least in this specific scenario. Either they came to the transfers, or the transfers came to them. There was no "avoid the pests" option, so it may be best that they got the higher ground.
"Weeeeeelllll..." Del pretended to reluctantly push the balance book away, stretching before getting up and going to Mori. "I'm sure Willa wouldn't mind us taking the initiative. After all, it'd be unfortunate --" For the transfers, maybe. "If they got mugged on the docks or something, lost, maybe, and we weren't there to lend a helping hand." Drat, clearly, clearly she was reluctant to go. The small black and white bird on her shoulder croaked a rusty greeting to Mori, and Del patted Fenemaso on the head.

s o u t h w a r k Cliff De Vil, Montana Slim and Eddie Radcliffe
Taking a deep breathe, Montana made his way out of his safe space only to run directly into his boss' brother. He raised an eyebrow at the taller man, only to be greeted with a smile and words that struck through his heart like a knife. "There's a boat on the horizon. Saw it on my way back from Tortuga." Cliff's voice was giddy. As if the fresh blood was something he could be ecstatic about. If Montana thought about it, Cliff's reaction was nothing but what was to be expected.
Montana wasn't exactly thinking clearly, though.
All in all, Montana didn't want to take on this responsibility. Not because of the people coming, but because of what it meant. In his eyes, all that could happen was trouble. His life would never be the same, and it wasn't something he was looking forward to. Montana liked his little life, with his garden, his restaurant, his friends. Sure, sometimes people ended up dead and people might try to kill him eventually, but that's what life was like on the Isle. New people, people raised different, they were to be feared. They were categorically unknown. They would be judgmental.
If there was one thing Montana didn't want around him, it was privileged, rich kid's judgement. Still, it was what had been asked of him. Cliff was only serving as the reminder. "I'll find my sisters," He told the De Vil without any further questions. The two blondes split off from there, though Montana really had no idea where Cliff would wander off to. It was actually somewhat of a surprise that he didn't offer to tag along. Then again, he had young sisters to keep out of trouble while the first meeting was taking place, so it would make sense for him to look for them instead. Montana had his own sisters to look for, so he made his way to the local gym, as it was the most likely place for her to be.

Avast ye! (Tortuga) Farris Jaohari, Hibiki Hamada Today was quite a day. Farris doubted there was a person on the Isle whose minds hadn't wandered to the transfers that were arriving today. New students were coming to enroll at the three schools the Isle could claim as their own, but these new students were from Auradon. In the entirety of the Isle's existence, there's only been on person to come to the Isle from Auradon and Tana hadn't gotten anything as fancy like the announcement these students were getting.
Farris had been watching the boat all day, as soon as he could identify the ship as definitively headed towards the Isle. There was a nervous curiousness about who was the ship exactly. How they'd react to coming here off the stop, how many there were, what infamous heroes they were related to, why they were here. So many questions, and yet, no one would have answers until they arrived.
Arrived they did. Farris saw the ship enter the barrier and he immediately turned away from the sight to find Mair. By find, Farris meant scream out his name and hope the man found him quickly enough. "Mair! Mair! Get over here!"
The kids weren't yet landed, but Farris wanted time to get over and prepare a welcome. And he wasn't going to greet them alone either.

At the sound of Fenemaso, Mori's own familiar crawled out of the hidden safety inner pocket of her leather jacket. The spotted blue salamander flicked his tail back and forth in greeting, feeling much more calm now that Mori had finished with her chaotic running. Mori laughed lightly, finally feeling the need to rush around fade out. Del was, of course, in agreement. They would take their time to get there, but it would be fun none the less.
"Now we can't have them getting hurt on our watch," Mori added in agreement, though everyone within hearing distance would know the real reason these girls were planning to greet newcomers. She was surprised that no one else volunteered to come with them, members of her own guard included. Tien tended to be a little overprotective. Then again, it's not like any of the Coven would have a reason to be afraid of these people.
If anyone were to be concerned, it would be the Auradon kids who should be scared. They were the ones out of their element, the ones who were coming in without any knowledge of how things worked. Mori felt bad for them, in a way. At least growing up here meant that one would be used to how things worked. She had watched Tana struggle to fit in with her own two eyes.
The young woman smirked to herself, with a fast look to where her weapon was resting against the table she usually claimed as her own. She wouldn't take it, as it would make all of the children absolutely lose their minds. Mori took pleasure in the thought of these predictably powerful people cowering in fear of them. It would only serve to prove how superior they were. "Ready to go?" Mori asked without much more preamble, looking down at the sheets that Del had spread around her.

Jace Ulf daughter of the white witch and maugrim Jace loved Sola, but for the life of her, Jace could not understand what was appealing about climbing trees. Even trees that already had ladders up, and didn't require maneuvering around footholds and branches. Jace could deal with bite wounds, scratch marks, bruises, but she wasn't as big of a fan of splinters.
Despite that, she still came to these little gang leader meetings anyhow. Even if they decided to start talking about what's going on without her. Collie. It was like living out in the deserted northern wilderness of this godforsaken island meant that the ferals weren't also living on said godforsaken island.
She snorted, irritated, as she scrambled up into the treehouse to sprawl on the floor for a good moment. "Thanks for waiting up," she interrupted. She didn't even think much had been said, but she was willing to show her upset. "Would've hated to miss out."
Moving up from the ground, she did move to the chair often reserved for the feral that came in to spend the day as the leader. A chair she preferred to sit incorrectly in, today having turned the chair to face away from the table and having sat in it so that she was still facing the table.
"We're talking about the new blood coming here, right?" Of course, she had to hear it from a source that was entirely based on luck since no one liked telling her anything. But she knew the basics: new kids to the Isle from Auradon. Hell if there was more information or not, but she had that.
God, Jace didn't know why she was bothering. There was little chance she'd meet any of the kids. That'd require them to be both animals and have a disregard for human culture to even think about stepping into the Outlands in the first place, and Jace really only came out to the city for these meetings unless otherwise requested.

f o r e s t Ian Salazar and Willa Sanderson
Ian was staring at the middle of the table, wondering why he had made his way out into the middle of the woods for the sole reason of telling the others what his plan was. Especially because he wasn't even going to tell them the specifics of his plan. Half his own pirates didn't understand his plan fully. Ian wouldn't have put this on them if he had any other choice, but Mair was serious about Isabeau and he wasn't about to break up with the young woman just because Ian asked.
Well, maybe.
The Pirate Captain shook the thought out of his mind. There was no way he could ask that of Mair. So, that left the rest of the Crew. A decent amount of the pirates were single, he was sure to have some level of success. They were young and objectively attractive. Within Isle standards, at least. Nevertheless, Ian was certain that his people could follow his plan. He would take part himself, if it weren't for the fact that all the transfers would surely be out of his age range.
With Collie's question, Ian's head snapped up to meet her eyes. He smirked slightly, silently wondering what her own plan would be, and what she would leave out during this meeting. The sound of Jace falling on the floor didn't even turn Ian's head. Instead, the Captain waited until she was sitting perfectly to strike, "Considering you have no school under your own protection, I didn't even expect you to show up, wolfgirl." None of the transfers would be under Jace's jurisdiction, and Ian would do everything in his power to keep it that way.
Willa, who had been biting her nail due to her separation from her daughter, could only sigh at the antics of the group in front of her. "Let's not start another pointless competition just because the Pirate's ego is still bruised over his boyfriend." She sat up straighter, making herself appear bigger than she had been while anxious, before continuing, "The Coven will welcome them into our school, and if one of them expresses interest to join, I will happily accept. I suggest all of you do the same." It was clear that Willa wanted this meeting over with, getting straight to the point.

Colette "Collie" Jessamine de Vil daughter of Cruella de Vil and Jean-Pierre la Pelt
"Nice of you to join us," Collie started mildly, brushing off the Feral leader's short tone. She agreed with Ian, after all -- this was supposedly a townie issue, so Jace would've been nice and safe after all. But she wasn't going to try to ward the wolf off. They didn't have time for bickering and throwing her out the door. Instead, she breezed right along, addressing Willa's point.
"I think all four of us can agree..." She'd include Jace, if that was so important to do, to avoid ruffling more fur than there already was. This whole discussion needed to actually be focused and efficient, for once. Willa had a good point. "...that if Auradon is here, then there's nothing they're scared of. And if they're not scared, that means we'd better damn well keep them happy, because there's no telling what they have on their side." None of them -- not even the dog -- were stupid, they all knew that good and well. It wasn't an insult to any of their strengths. Their dignities? Yes. But this wasn't the first time Auradon purposely didn't respect them as human beings, so was anyone really shocked?
No, because they weren't stupid.
"I have the Slims inviting them to dinner tomorrow night, now." She pointed out, before adding, "Get them drunk enough, maybe they'll spill what this is all about." And besides, who didn't like free food and alcohol? No one, that's who.

Buchannan Edelweiss "Del" Grimhilde and Elvira Blight The Magus took a moment to regard the papers on the desk, frowning in thought. She probably needed to get those done, sure, they were important. Money and education weren't meant to be ignored. Willa would probably end her if she didn't. But this was also important, in her opinion. They needed to meet the Auradon students, and it wasn't like Willa could do that at the moment. So it fell to her to do that, and she was sure Willa would agree that their transfers shouldn't get lost doing God only knew what in Tortuga. "Yeah, these can wait." Probably. The dark haired woman got up, crossing the room towards her best friend. Hardly breaking stride, she called back, "Tait's in charge until I get back." Tait was less likely to scare the younger members with power in his hands. Han was a good guy, but he was also secretly an old man, and she didn't want to come back to him telling them about "the old days" or whatever, especially when he had the same damn "old days" they did. "Han, don't be a baby about it." She apparently, knew what had been coming with that one, considering this comment caused him to scowl and cross his arms from where he'd been reading in the corner.
Heading out with Mori, she glanced over towards her best friend, "So did you just see the ship itself, or anyone on it at all?"- - - -"Hey, Bully, think if I tried to spit through the barrier, it'd bounce off or go through? What about throwing something heavier, like a baseball?" Meanwhile, on the boat, Elvira had been incorrigible, asking this question and that question, seemingly undaunted by the scary island full of criminals and lowlives. After all, her grandparents were criminals and lowlives, technically, so she figured she might feel right at home. But part of her was trying to lighten the mood throughout the group of "Witch School" transfers. The Blight girl had no idea what truly went on in this witch school, but the young Witchling heard the word "Witch" and assumed it'd be alright. Probably.
Eh, they'd slide out of any trouble somehow, she was sure of it.
She'd currently decided to pester their "glorious leader", since she seemed super tense about this trip. Elvira had not the foggiest clue why, these would be kids, like them -- and most of the adult criminals were either crippled from using their magic, or old as dirt.
"Oo, hey, gimme that bucket, that oughta go through, right?"

Tortuga Mair Baron and Akram Agrabah Just as soon as Farris had started screaming for him, Mair poked his head around the corner, as if he were summoned instead of just coincidentally being within earshot. But that was how it always was with the Quartermaster, always conveniently within reach. Somehow. "Are they here yet? Are they here yet?" Mair appeared to have no reserves towards their privileged guests, a broad smile plastered on his face. It could be a bad thing, sure, but it could also be exciting, who knew what could come out of this? Besides, they were just kids. Unless the youth of Auradon were especially deadly -- damned cultural differences -- then he presumed this wasn't some elite troop of soldiers assembled as a death squad or anything. "Think we should bring 'em a gift, Ferry?" Somehow the Quartermaster made blatant sarcasm sound like enthusiam, as he pranced along beside the Sailing Master. "Did you practice your curtsy?" They had technically known about the arrival of the transfers for days now, and Mair had used this time wisely, doing what he did best. Making quips.- - - - "We're almost there, Dande!" Akram peered curiously across the horizon, shifting from foot to foot in both nerves and anticipation. He didn't know what to expect from the Isle, but he was solidly prepared to do what he needed to do for the mission: he'd help these kids in whatever way he could, so help him. "What do you think they're like?" Common sense told Akram that they weren't raised like he and the others were, so they might be very different. But his heart told him that they were kids, just like him, that had been put in a situation they'd never asked for. He was sure that, with enough trust and understanding, they'd eventually get over their differences. All they needed was a little help, and Akram was here to give it.

Southwark Homie Slim, Maggie DunBroch and Kassi Robinson Montana was correct, that was one thing. Homie was, in fact, in the gym. She usually could be found there in stressful situations, and while the middle triplet would never admit her nerves were fried, they were. So she did what she did best, and worked that anxiety out through physical exertion.Right now, she seemed to be teaching one of the younger triplets -- Charlotte, by the looks of it -- how to box. The little wolf pup was holding her own, all things considered, and when Homie turned to look back at Montana when he entered, Charlotte saw her opening and struck a punch square in the stomach.Ow."Good work," Homie wheezed, trying to regain her breath. "Go ahead and take a break, while I talk to Montana." And naturally, the kid didn't listen, and scampered off to attack something or someone else. Homie didn't expect anything else, truly. Instead, straightening up, she addressed her brother."They here, then?" The look on his face was not a good look, so she figured she'd take a shot in the dark, there.- - - -"Hey, do you guys think the barrier has any radiation in it? What if the Isle kids are mutants or something. Like not magical mutants...but like...mutants, you know?" Kassi, naturally, was leaning way too far over the railing for anyone's general comfort, and didn't seem particularly scared by the thought of mutant criminals. That described probably about half of San Fransokyo, truly. That was an acceptable level of weird, and she cooked her head curiously at her fellow transfers to what was apparently called "Dragon Hall", when Maggie instinctively pulled her back solidly onto the boat. "Think they have real dragons, there?"

Jace Ulf daughter of the white witch and maugrim Jace whipped her head towards Ian with a growl on her tongue, only prevented by Willa's interruption to actually focus on the conversation. Letting out a heavy snort, she went back to leaning on the chair, arms rested on the top and her head settled amongst them.
There wasn't much to say though. It was the honest truth as despite how Jace didn't appreciate the pirate saying it, there was no school in the Outlands for the ferals to call home to. She could hardly imagine any of the animals in the group sitting still and listening to a good-for-nothing teacher in a stuffy classroom. She snorted at the thought.
Wasn't much the point though as the general theme was let the kids into the schools and try to induct them into their respective gangs. Though, Collie seemed the most open about her next step. Dinner and drinks and information. "You willing to share what you find out?"

Buchannan Tait Uli, Bellamy Bête, Azura Noceda-Blight Tait tossed up a small little thumbs up at the girls with a smile on his face. --
Billy was getting closer to throwing herself overboard, consequences be damned. From the matter of being forced onto the trip as the leader of all things to being given a different spiel of the mission at hand from the man she was supposed to call her father all the way to the witch standing near her asking nonsense. She want to rub at the bridge of her nose and groan and tell her to be quiet for a couple of minutes. Unfortunately, she couldn't just do that without the risk of it biting her later on. Therefore, she took a deep breath in and responded, "None of those will pass through the barrier." She hoped she didn't sound too exasperated. It likely didn't succeed too well given a muffled giggle from Azura.
If the barrier was so unsecure that some spit or a baseball or a bucket could pass through no problem, then a villain passing through on a makeshift raft shouldn't have a difficult time getting through either. Which likely would have been attempted at some point within these last 20 years, unless everyone had genuinely been overestimating these beings of evil throughout the years.
"We aren't going to be near the barrier for much longer anyway," she added on, with the implication that any of those objects likely wouldn't reach the barrier anyway. They were approaching land soon anyhow and there was not point to poke and prod at the thing keeping Auradon safe.
It was also only because they were nearing the Isle that Billy was currently with Elvira, Mino, and Azura, rather than Maggie and Hibiki, her seconds on this trip where one would assume she'd be discussing what their plans were once they reached shore.
They already had that conversation though, having started when they stepped on the boat and set sail. Each girl would be leading a group with three other transfer students towards the neighborhood they'd need to be familiar with given the school's positions. And in the process, attempt to scout out a place of living to report back to when they meet back at the docks to discuss which one would be the best to live in.
Billy was leading her group into Buchannan and headed for Witch School. Something Billy was still mentally screaming over. To keep groups even, there was four transfers in every group, but given only three of the transfers overall were known to have a magical ability or a connection to magic, that left one odd man out. Or rather, what seemed to be an odd man out.

Southwark California Slim, Alicio Bête California let out a hefty wheeze at the sight of her sister doubling over cause of a lost focus and a smart wolf pup. California wasn't being particularly productive at the moment, having chosen to relax back in the gym and apparently watch a kid get the better of her sister. Which was quality entertainment if she had any say in it. Homie had a point though, in checking why Montana had spontaneously come to the gym, so California did stand up to join her brother and sister in the conversation. She was willing to place bets that Homie was right as well. The transfers were here, but she still chose to wait for the extra confirmation and any extra information Montana could offer. -- "Probably not," Alicio answered, "To like, most of what you just said. What would even cause the radiation? The barrier's magic, so it's not like it will cause radiation." He paused. "I don't think magic causes radiation." There was no proof that it did anyhow. Multiple dimensions continued to survive despite all the magic in them and specific people didn't seemed to be radioactive. "As for dragons... Yes and no?" Alicio offered. "Any real dragons would have been turned into humans before they sent them here, so there is real dragons but they don't look like it?" Alicio thought it would have been... common sense? Reasonable thought process? He thought it was pretty well taught that animals were turned into humans before being sent there, debilitating them as the magic users were. Tutors from when he was younger always tried to emphasize the fact that all villains on the Isle were unable to cause harm like they used to. No magic, no teeth and claws, no titles or positions of power. Didn't mean they weren't dangerous, just a little less dangerous than they used to be. "Didn't people teach you that when you were younger?" Alicio asked. It wasn't implausible that his father just wanted to emphasize that to his kids, but it was weird to think other's didn't know that.

Tortuga Farris Jaohari, Hibiki Hamada "Just about, ship's yet to pull up, but it's right there in sight now, which was closer than yesterday," Farris informed, a grin having made its way on his face. Mair was a funny guy and Farris appreciated the humor.
Playing into the said humor that was provided, "Didn't you know? We have a whole arrange of gifts to give them, from golden platters spilling with coins to jewelry and gems to silk and velvet robes. Not a single one of them will be left out. They'll feel like royalty."
He paused, before letting out a heavy snort at the thought.
Continuing the bit, as even a good jab at the transfers wasn't enough, he gave Mair a grin and said "How's this for a curtsy?" before given the most gangly, awkward curtsy he could muster up. It wasn't hard as any attempt of a curtsy from Farris was bound to be gangly and awkward given his build. Not too much he could do about it. "Think it'll impress them?"

s o u t h w a r k Montana Slim and Eddie Radcliffe
At the sight of his sister getting knocked by a thirteen year old girl, Montana refused to laugh. It took everything he had in him to keep the reaction internal, but it would be for the best. None of them could be distracted right now, not even if it meant letting go of the fact that Homie hadn't been able to fend off a child's attack. Instead, Montana gave the girl a proud smile and warned, "Your brother's looking for you." Montana did notice movement out of the corner of his eye, but let it go.
"They're here," He confirmed, wanting to get straight to the point. The more time they wasted, the more his anxiety could grow. If they just did the task and got Collie's plan over with, Montana could move onto the next stressful event. A very stupid, very anxiety-inducing dinner. He already had everyone in his racket scared to pieces over the coming event. They never had to work to impress anyone. Usually, that was just a given considering what the people were used to eating on a day to day basis. Whatever his family were able to grow in the dead dirt couldn't be compared do the magical ingredients on Auradon. How was he supposed to impress these people with the little they had? Montana needed to tell Collie that her plans sucked, and that he deserved a raise for going along with them. "You two ready for this?" He asked, holding the door open for them. They had no choice but to follow him to ground zero, but he was sure they all wished for something better. Like being able to watch Charlotte beat Homie up more, or figure out exactly what Cheri was doing in the rafters of the gym. Cliff got the joy of that task, once he actually figured out where the two sisters were. Next time, Montana was gonna tell Collie to send Cliff to do the harder task. - - - Eddie looked at the younger kids around him, and sighed. He felt like a chaperone. Which, for all intents and purposes, he pretty much was exactly that. Still, he felt the need to be nice to them. If he was meant to be the sage old man of the group, he could play into that role. "The barrier doesn't just effect what we think of as magic. Mutations are also suppressed." Eddie did, in fact, pay attention in class. He had to, in order to keep his scholarship while in school. He was pleased by that fact, because it made him seem wiser than he actually was.
Alicio was right about dragons, and probably radiation as well. Eddie couldn't be so sure of that, which caused him to stare in front of them, where he could see the barrier shimmer. Kassi's thought now made everything seem more suspicious than he had been before. It's not like they were taught the specifics of how the barrier worked.

b u c h a n n a n Mori Blackbeard and Mino Oldenburg
"Behave, boys!" Mori called behind her before they walked out the doors, smirking brightly at the fact that they had to stay behind while she and Del did the fun tasks. Sure, she could've left Del there and taken one of them as her back up so that Del could've gotten the paperwork done, but this was a much better use of her time. Plus, it was something Willa would've done herself, if she wasn't so busy. That meant it was Del's job to cover for Willa. Mori needed to remember that little fact for later, if Han or Tait threw a tantrum about being left out. Han was more likely than Tait, though. It was an argument that Mori was sure she would be able to win. "Just the ship, I didn't stop and ask to look through a broken telescope." She never saw the point in looking through the glass the pirates swore by. Plus, she was trying to be sneaky about her presence in Tortuga. Mori wanted to get to the Auradon kids before anyone else.
It would give the Coven the better reputation with them, by being the first welcome faces they saw. Hopefully there weren't any mermaids on that boat. Del's parentage blended in quite well, to the point where it would be hard to pinpoint her as the Evil Queen's daughter. Mori wasn't exactly hiding it, with her pale skin, white hair and trident necklace. If her mother was responsible for the murder attempt on some kid's mom, it would make her job that much harder.
- - - Mino looked over at the girls and idly wondered how things would work while they had to live with each other if they were already trying to cause fights. Maybe he could convince one of the pirate crews that he was good luck and they would house him. These were the girls who he now had classes with, and Mino wasn't exactly looking forward to it.
At least he knew what he was getting, with Billy. There had been a handful of events they ended up at together, due to their titles. The Blight cousins, however, were entirely new territory. So far, Mino wasn't exactly impressed. Why was one so obsessed with throwing something through the barrier? Everything on the ship was about to go through, and that was so much better than a bucket.

t o r t u g a Kore Porter and Dande Darling
Dande, who was currently sitting on a barrel for no reason other than she hadn't been able to smoke in days and that made her antsy, was not in a good mood. "They were raised in jailed poverty, abandoned by those who were supposed to be better, and probably abused." Her eyes moved over to Akram's own, with no noticeable expression on her face. "I'm sure they're the nicest people you'll ever meet." Her tribe had never fought for land, being from a magical island off the coast of Auradon, but she knew the struggles of the Powhatan had with the English.
People who were backed into a corner never came out better. No matter what she said, she was still looking forward to meeting these people. Her mother was sure that Hook hadn't changed at all, and asked her to send good wishes to Mr. Smee, since he had a kind heart under all his loyalty to the Jolly Roger's Captain. Akram had just got her on a bad day, and it was showing.
Thankfully, not every Serpent Prep transfer shared Dande's mood.
With eased practice, Kore swung down from the top of the mast to land between Akram and Dande. She had spent her days on the ship perfecting swings on ropes instead of jungle vines. "Do you think they have self-proclaimed titles? Like, my dad was King of the Jungle." Kore had been like this for days, asking pointless questions no one would know the answer to. She just thought it was a neat idea. Kore would want her own title. Something like Champion of the Apes, something better than Kerchak's Jungle Brat nickname.

f o r e s t Ian Salazar and Willa Sanderson
Jace had stolen the words right out of Willa's mouth. Considering the fact that Collie was telling them her plan, it shouldn't have been a question, but this was Collie. Willa felt the need to hold Collie accountable when it came to sharing with the class. "Should I be expecting a Mafia messenger to show up on my doorstep with information?" It's what she wanted to happen, at least. It would make things easier for herself.
Maybe if she asked for it directly, Collie would comply in order to avoid a fight.
"Farris and Mair are offering up the abandoned shack so they don't go full colonizer and declare a Quartering Act." Ian put forth, not only to stop the animosity that was growing in the room but also so that it seemed like he was actually sharing his own plan. He didn't want them to turn on him later when his people were the ones getting insider information. The party seemed like a good idea, but it would be too chaotic to actually work. These kids were more likely to be closed off, surrounded by strangers. It was better to corner them one on one. The would feel safer and more likely to spill secrets.
Plus, it was nice to be able to one up Jace on something. It was unlikely for any of the Auradon kids to end up near her territory. She had stolen enough children from his town alone, and none of them could afford the possibility of some high society child end up running around with wolves in the desert. He didn't need Beast nuking the Isle just because some kid hurt themselves playing with evil lions.

Southwark Homie Slim, Maggie DunBroch and Kassi Robinson Homie shot her brother and sister an encouraging grin, knowing her older brother was screaming on the inside. And for once, she wasn't going to judge him for it. Montana was a walking ball of nerves and panic, but this time it wasn't unfounded. There was nothing good about this situation. Nothing good about the transfers. Nothing good about Collie's plan. None of this boded well for them, not in the slightest, and, if she was being completely honest...Homie was just as scared as he was.
But she'd be damned if she ever let that show. Instead, she punched California lightly in the arm, and slung her arms over their respective shoulders. If Montana was scared, then clearly she'd just have to be twice as brave. Not that her brother was a coward, and California definitely wasn't. But she could hide things getting to her if it meant that it possibly gave them peace of mind. She herded them towards the front door, that cocky grin still on her face. "Course I'm ready! What's there to be scared of, a couple of soft rich kids? What, are they gonna pay me to death?" The transfers could do things to them that Homie couldn't even comprehend, and she was deathly aware of that.
It was just a matter of fake it till ya make it go away. - - - - Eddie and Alicio's lack of scientific curiosity was highly disappointing.
Kassi frowned for a moment at the boys, before restating her point. "No one's touched the Isle in twenty years -- you don't know that for sure, about the mutations." She insisted, shaking her head. "Just because the barrier suppresses the mutations they had before doesn't mean the magic from the barrier itself hasn't mutated them in some way." At least, her initial question and intention seemed clear to her, boys notwithstanding.

Tortuga Mair Baron and Akram Agrabah Without breaking his stride or missing a beat, Mair spun on the ball of his foot to break into his own curtsy for the Sailing Master. "That's quite the curtsy, Ferry! I've been blown away by the sheer level of respect! Worth more than even the offerings for our dear princely friends!" A snicker came from Mair, then, as he caught stride with his friend again. "As you know, a curtsy is the most common of curt'sies you can imagine. You'll have the silver spoon club knocked absolutely breathless." Because he had no doubt in Ian's plans, there was no reason to worry, if you asked Mair. Which meant it was time to goof around and play as they waited on the transfers to come to shore.
"Think we'll meet any of Tana's pals?"- - - -"They might surprise you, you know." Akram's friendly smile didn't waver, but he stood firm in his optimism towards the Isle kids. They couldn't be all that bad, the adults wouldn't knowingly send them into danger, after all. "We just have to make sure they know we're here to help them." Thats all he -- and most of them -- wanted to do, was help. After he stood on his opinion with Dande, his attention turned to Kore, nodding eagerly. "I'm sure they do. People like giving themselves titles, after all. I bet they've got a couple of them."

Colette "Collie" Jessamine de Vil daughter of Cruella de Vil and Jean-Pierre la Pelt
Christ, get your own plan. Unless you two are helping buy the booze, buzz off.
A sharp twinge of annoyance flashed in the mafia boss's eyes for a split second, possibly missed, before she had things back under control. Bunch of mangy vultures, the lot of them. She thought for a moment on how to politely say no, since she really didn't want to throw down with Willa and Jace right now.
Good Lord, who would have thought the day would come where Collie was appreciative of Ian's cocky bullshit, where he'd act like he had everything planned up to the very last detail?
"It depends on what I find out," The scruffy blonde leader started evenly, figuring that was a neutral way to test the waters. "They might give me a load of garbage, you know?" Sure, they were officially all on the same side here, but that didn't mean Collie had to share everything she found out. At least, not until it was pertinent information.

Buchannan Edelweiss "Del" Grimhilde and Elvira Blight This got a nod of agreement from the dark haired witch, since she didn't blame Mori for avoiding the telescope. She was sure it worked -- as well as something on the Isle could work, anyway. And when the bar was so low it could roll away, that wasn't much to boast about.
Instead, when they reached the docks, Del leaned against a wall, arms crossed over her chest. A waiting game it was, then. The ship was getting closer and closer, it was only a matter of time. "So, what do you think they're actually like, Mori? Any predictions?" This ought to be good. She could only imagine what her best friend could come up with, there. "Why do you think they're even here?" It was anyone's guess, really.- - - - "You're right, we are going to be pretty far from it, soon, huh?" Elvira's eyes started roaming the deck. This could be taken as a sign of growing disinterest, to a stranger. But to family -- to Azura -- it meant trouble was afoot. And its name was Elvira Blight, for sure. "You'd need to throw something pretty hard to hit it...for sure...oh!" The witchling found exactly what she wanted, then.
The discarded lid to a barrel.
The older girl stooped over neatly to pick it up, and then without further warning, threw it. The wooden disk frisbee'd through the air with all the force and speed to rival Grudgby players. It sliced its way towards the barrier, and Elvira watched it, her amber eyes filled with glee, and then a disappointed curiosity as it hit the barrier with a solid thwack.

Jace Ulf daughter of the white witch and maugrim Jace snorted at the ever so similar sentiment Willa voiced. Gotta love being the one to set a trend or idea. Even if Willa had already been thinking it before Jace said it, the point was Jace said it first and Willa just reiterated it. It was funny, but ever so reaffirming.
After all, Collie shouldn't openly speak about ideas that she had no plans on sharing the outcomes of. Jace had to admit, Ian had the idea of given the general first plan but neglecting what they expected from it. No "we'll provide them home and hope they show gratitude and spill their secrets." Although, Jace supposed the lack of Quartering Act was a benefit in said action.
Well, to anyone but her.
"Oh god, not a Quartering Act. I can see it now, so much energy and effort cleaning out houses so they will have a place to stay. Oh right! That'd be an issues for you guys only, huh." It wasn't phrased as a question, just a nudge towards the truth. After all, there wasn't any quarters to plunder in the Outlands.
Not unless the transfers wanted to sleep in a cave or in a tree or take their chances in the open on dirt and grass.
Jace tilted her head towards Collie as she danced around the question with a little smile on her face, "What kind of garbage are we talking? The kind where it turns out you're putting up this big fuss for nothing? That this shipment of kids isn't just a mass shipment of Auradon-labelled criminals."
"Do we even know that that's not what they are?"

Buchannan Bellamy Bête, Azura Noceda-Blight The effort it took to not slam her head against the nearest wall was immense, but Billy managed to fight it.
Elvira had thrown a barrel lid at the barrier and it had failed.
All Billy could say to that was "Satisfied?" with a blank look on her face to accompany it.
Someone seemed to find joy over it and Billy shot a look at the giggling girl, who's only defense was to say, "Sorry, sorry." The only positive side to Azura thus far was that she didn't actively, vocally support her cousin throwing things at the barrier.
She took a few steps back as the barrier progressively got closer, watching as an opening began to widen, to allow the ship they were on to pass through with no trouble. Wouldn't want the ship to crush itself against the barrier in a similar manner as to how the barrel lid bounced off it.
And as the ship began to enter into the barrier, Billy had to hold herself back from taking multiple steps backward to prolong the inevitable. She wasn't prepared for how she'd handle the loss of connection to herself, loss of magic in every shape she could wield it. Difficult to really prepare for something like that on Auradon by all accounts. She supposed she good blame any unintentional reaction towards the suppression of her beast form, which wouldn't be inaccurate.
Attempting to focus on anything but herself, she directed a question towards the three, "Are you going to be okay with losing your magic for a few months?"

Tortuga Farris Jaohari, Hibiki Hamada Farris clapped his hands with laughter echoing with it at the sight of Mair's own curtsy. "Weren't so shabby yourself," he complimented in return. "Oh, they'll be so impressed by our manners, they'll feel just at home, ey?" They might be overselling it just a bit, but if the kids were genuinely expecting such lavishness, they'd be in for a disappointment. It was fun to make fun of the idea of Auradon and the royalty that lived over there at any rate. They could merely imagine what they were really like based on rumors and gossip where the only genuine word they had to go on would be Tana's. Her having been from Auradon and all that.On the topic of Tana... "I don't know. Think it'd be nice for her if we will get to meet some though. I'd be curious to know what kind of friends she had over in the greener pastures."-- Hibiki winced at the hopeful views Akram expressed. It wasn't wrong to be hopeful, but from Hibi's experience Dande was more likely to be correct. A person didn't even need all of those traits to end up with a defensive, unfriendly personality. Here was an island full of people that experienced all of those traits. It really wasn't a good outlook, objectively. She didn't have any plans to contribute to the conversation, rather content to stair out towards the water. Of course, plans get derailed as the topic shifted to self-proclaimed titles. "What kind of titles would they even have?"
