I tried making an RP like this on WCF [the original forums] but it didn't go exactly as planned or hoped to. So, has anyone read the Night World series? I'm not too much of a hopeless romantic but I love supernatural RPs and how, in the book, they actually had soulmates and connect their minds in some way. They actually saw each other's minds! Well, they were mostly sensations and/or colors that their consciousness gave off but I still think that's beautiful. I don't want to take characters from the series but make our own and do what we want. I also liked how everyone was pretty much connected in some way throughout the series and familiar names popped up everywhere; everyone pretty much knew each other or were related by blood [or blood ties, if we want to be nitty gritty].
Don't mind me as I fangirl a little ^^" but ya, that's my proposition! If you want to RP, whether you've heard of it or not, just reply and I can answer any questions you may have whether it pertains to the RP or the series. I'll even make a list below to answer some basic questions that may be asked as well as the ones I haven't thought of [so I don't have to keep repeating myself to other curious RPers that find this interesting]. Please look these over before asking anything. I know I typed a lot but it'll help in the long-run, I promise.

Night World Laws:
- Humans can't know of us.
- Falling in love with a human is forbidden.
- Humans can only be turned after consulting the Council.
The result of any of these laws being broken include memory wiping, turning, or death.
RP Rules:
- WCRF rules apply here, of course.
- No Mary Sues/Gary Stues. Everyone has flaws even if they're an ancient, all powerful creature. Flaws can be both in appearance and personality.
- Please make a girl for every guy and vice versa. I would like to keep the genders even.
- No power playing, god modding, or spotlighting.
- Try to include everyone. It's no fun when just two people are RPing back and forth.
- No cursing, gore, or inappropriate RP themes. WCRF still wants things to be around PG/PG-13 with the exception of "damn" and "hell." If you do want to RP something that is not considered appropriate then use stars [*], replacement words [ex: "[fudge!]" she/he/they exclaimed.], skip, or continue in private messaging with the other person's permission.
- If you want two characters to be soulmates then ask the other person if they would be okay with that. Same goes for turning [made-vampire] or killing a character.
- Please do your best to be active or let me know if you're going to be away for some time so people don't pull their characters from RPing with you or I don't take your characters off the front page. Don't just join and go "I'm a fairy!" and poof away.
- Be nice to one another and respect each other's opinions or beliefs!
- Just... Be nice.

ooh, i've never heard of these books but the concept here is interesting. ^^ the one thing i'm wondering tho is your literacy requirement? i'm one of those people who can write too much so idk if that would be a problem,,

(That sounds absolutely perfect ^^ I like typing long paragraphs to give the RP more depth. Sometimes, when I'm tired or there isn't much to go off of, I don't type as much but I still try to make sure there's plenty for the other person to respond to.)
