-snip- If one of my friends hated cats, or was allergic to cats, I sure would put my cats in another room while we were together. Sure, my cats might meow a little and be confused, but they can handle it! Yes, exactly this. Especially cause cat allergies are way more common I know to put them in the other room. I do feel bad that its just their way of showing affection but the way they show affection is not compatible with how i recieve affection, or like to be given space and have less sensory-invasive creatures. I mean that's probably why I vibe with cats. They understand the concept of I like you so i'm gonna hang out nearby, in our own personal space bubbles.

IMAGINE MOWING YOUR LAWN AT 7 IN THE MORNING ONG-
I hate periods with all my heart because I'm sitting here with a heating pad, drinking hot chocolate, and dying on the inside.

Is funny how a warrior cats forum has a lot of dog dislikers. I’m on the same boat honestly, I’m not a fan of dogs, more neutral. I even have to work with them but I rather not. They are pretty loud, smelly, and gross. Nothing like getting peed on and smelling like dog urine all day.
I don’t really mind other people’s dogs if they aren’t aggressive. It’s like children, they’re cool in small doses. As long as I don’t have to take care of them full time, I’m fine with them.

I actually love dogs and have two of them. I also love ferrets and cats. But it’s okay if you don’t like dogs. They’re not for everyone.

Nah dude. I get peed on by other animals all the time. Dog urine is one the the stinkiest, not to mention some of the dogs will literally go out of their way to aim their urine on you unlike other animals that urinate simply because they are stressed. Getting peed on by a dog sucks.

My mom always put the dog up (either crate or my dad’s wood shop) whenever we had someone over, unless we knew for sure that they were okay with dogs.
In fact my mom would put her up whenever there were little (under 10) kids over, even if they liked dogs, because my mom wasn’t comfortable with it. Our dog was great with us when we were little, but she was used to us; unfamiliar strangers’ kids are different. All it takes is for someone to not leave her alone and push her buttons, a warning nip (which for little kids would be at face height), and suddenly you have a majorly traumatized child. My mom felt better about avoiding that possibility completely.

That’s difficult that your grandma lives in those conditions. It must make visiting her hard for you. I am glad to say that my exposure to animal waste is mostly at my workplace and I don’t have to experience it at home. I work in biology so I handle literally 100s to 1000s of animals almost every day dealing with all the biohazards the animals have to offer, so I rather not go home to that. I’m not one to judge people that live in that kind of filth because there could be many reasons why they are like that. Like mental health or with older people, it’s just hard for them to keep up with cleaning.

I hate that I'm the fill-in friend.
"Oh, x can't make it and we need a fourth, you want to come?" "Hey, we have an extra ticket because x had something come up." "I know this is last minute, but we really need another driver for everyone to get to x and wondered if you'd be available to join us"
I feel like I'm only ever invited if I'm needed, or if a preferred friend leaves a spot open. I'm never anyone's first choice, just there in the background, an extra on a rainy day. I'm never allowed in any group chats, excuses made to kick me after an event is over so I never know what's going on. Then they have the gall to say that if I wanted to be invited more I should join more events.... that I have no way of knowing are happening. It's frustrating.
I know this is awful. I know that they're not true friends if they treat me this way. I know I should "get new friends"
But this is my experience with every group I try to join for the last 6+ years. I've tried so hard to be personable, to be friendly. A lot of these people are super cool and I genuinely want to help them and hang out. I go out of my way to be there for people when they need help, often at great pain or discomfort to my own needs. I still get called selfish behind my back.
I get blanket invites to large parties, sure. But for once I want to be invited to something that is less than 50 people, where everyone on the host's contact list gets a courtesy invite because they want the party to be big and don't care who attends, where I only go to be an extra in party games and where I hardly know anyone in the room.

Pros of having a job that doesn't care what breaks you take or when: -I'm on lunch and only have an hour left of work when I'm done -8 hour shift feels like 2 -When I finally quit this shit hole my next job will feel like a piece of cake, heaven on earth, etc
Cons: Ow my hips. Also a slowly building rage towards my superiors who don't care if the workload is so high we can't even take our 10s unless we want to fall behind and screw over the closing people. I have so much ammo against them if they ever piss me off too bad (they already have but I'm trying not to get people in trouble if they don't deserve it but god.... It really feels like they deserve it)
Last week I worked 8.5 hours without a SINGLE break. You'd think they'd see that shit on payroll and be like "uhhhh whats going on that's not ethical " but nope. Also I pay 10$ a week to a union in order to work here. Lawl

Honestly, I've been okay. Last night was... rough. Lets say there were 'noises' and now I'm traumatized and really how can you just go back to normal after that?! I feel very traumatized and scared honestly. I don't know if I'm going to be able to sleep tonight. And I'd try to get help from my parents, but if you know, you know. So I can't do that comfortably, it's weird and panicky and I just want to forget the last 24 hours. I had a panic attack last night and I had a mini one literally a minute ago and I'm scared of being jump-scared by a panic attack. Tips on how the freak I'm supposed to feel not traumatized?

k guys I think know, that i made them angery. In a way we were both in fault. I was called something that I find very sensitive. They might have blocked me, I understand because we were both quite rude to each other, and I think we should both apologize. If they do see this just wanted them to know I'm sorry <:3

...not me hitting this thread with another dog-themed rant
i love dogs so much like. i cannot put it into words. I am the number 1 dog fan.
But i hate dog owners so much. There's this one specific woman i have beef with- she's a dog trainer, always has 5-6 big dogs with her, and trains them in public spaces (fields or dog parks) which is fine i guess, but these dogs are all super aggressive. 3 of them tried to maul my dog (maltipoo) the other day and this woman??? didn't even call the dog back??? my dog was fine thankfully but its a huge **** move to stop other people from using spaces thanks to your aggressive animals. There have also been incidents where dog's broke away from dog walkers/trainers in my area (and in one very recent case, mauled a much smaller dog to the extent it needed several surgeries) ((dw the small dog is stable))
Also, it seems like a lot of people simply can't control their dogs??? Like there was this guy who had a giant black dog that was tugging him around, going up to other dogs and people, and he couldn't control it. Like. I don't care if he's friendly, my dog isn't. If you physically cannot control your dog, do not get a big dog
ALSO PEOPLE WHO GET SMALL DOGS AND DON'T TRAIN THEM. Idc if their pulling on the leash or barking is tolerable to you, TRAIN YOUR DOG. physically being able to handle your dog isn't an excuse to let them do whatever.
AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! STOP LETTING YOUR DOGS OFF!!! IN DOG ON LEASH ZONES!!! There is a hill where everyone likes to let their dog off thats right next to a dog park (as in. right on the other side of the fence) AND also right next to a 2km dog off leash zone??? like come on, you couldn't have used either of those places?
Also also anyone who gets a dog like a pug because its cute is my opp.

That is exactly what I was talking about that annoys me, oh the irony.
Pugs are an abomination bred to suffer for human enjoyment and that isn't okay. We need to start forcing them to support the health of the breed and making the faces longer or just mutually agree to only adopt and neuter all existing ones and let it fade out. Same with persian cats.
