{Welp we have plots allllllllllll over the place? Should I just start posting them in no particular order on the first post??} (LMAO. You could do that if you want. I can try and help you collect the plots if you want.)

(The only similarities are the war and Kirk being jealous LMAO. I have a rough idea on fitting in the gun fight, maybe some sort of duel between the guy that looks like the Turned guy and Kirk because they kinda get at it over Abby? Or that could be the way the planet decides to go with the federation or not, if Kirk can win in a battle?)
(We really did stray though that’s kinda funny)

"Cam I just got call from Jim to get down to the planet asap. I'll swing by your quarters to pick you in five, be ready to go. And you'll have get into some getup." Bones did not sound happy at all. "I'll tell you more in there." Soon enough McCoy was at Cam's door waiting to be let in with garment bag in hand.

Whatever was going on down there, Cam didn’t see why she would be needed. “Alright...” she replied, then got ready to go. She packed a small bag, unsure of what to expect. She stayed in her casual clothes, figuring they’d be easy to change out of. When McCoy arrived, she let him in. “How long will we be down there?” She asked, only knowing enough about the mission to be worried about packing. “And what getup do I have to wear?”

(I think it matters what we’re shooting for. If we want personal drama, the duel would be best. If we want like intense ‘is this moral’ questioning, the required battle. Both would provide interesting tensions and good plot, I think, so I’m not really leaning to either in particular.)

"We'll have to be down there overnight unfortunately. And we'll have to pretend to be husband and wife." McCoy grumbled. "You have to wear this. I have to wear the damned Dress uniform." He took the dress out while pulling at the collar of his uniform. It was much simpler than what was planet side to get into. But for the appearance, it was everything required. It was of a hi-low style with match pants, exactly what some of the simpler folks were wearing. "I'm sorry for it in advance, but apparently Abby had it bad down there, just from what I've heard. They're expecting us as soon as possible down there. "

Cam gave McCoy a look, one like she was expecting him to finish his joke, but the ending never came. “You’re kidding.” Her tone said she knew he wasn’t kidding, but hoped he was. Her eyes rested on his face for a moment, as if some part of her expected him to say this was all a hoax. Then her eyes moved to the dress. Deep down, she knew it could be worse, but it just didn’t feel that way. She looked back up at him, an argumentative look in her eye. There was no way she was wearing that.
The look in Cam’s eyes disappeared, and she sighed reluctantly. “Just-“ she huffed, then took the dress. She turned and went into her bathroom for a few minutes. It took her a bit to get into the dress, but she finally emerged, looking upset. “Let’s go...” she sighed again, throwing her comfortable clothes on the bed and grabbing her bag.

{Any preference for Cam's dress?}
"Sorry Cam, when we get down there, you can yell at the Captain all you want." McCoy stated, while she was in the bathroom. Once she was out even without her hair and makeup, she looked stunning. He couldn't stopping looking at her. "You look lovely." He complemented, walking to the transporter. "I was told Abigail would meet us down there." He added, looking around. Bones truly felt bad for Cam, she wasn't the girly-girly that Abby could be. "'M sorry." He sighed again.

(Not as of now, I’ll do some looking and get back to you on that)
Cam was planning on yelling at the Captain. At the compliment, she calmed down some and blushed a little. “Thank you.” She felt her own blush and looked away as they walked, feeling ridiculous. “You do look good in the Dress uniform.” She could tell he was about as uncomfortable in his uniform as she was in her dress. “It’ll be good to see Abby, going into whatever this is..” Cam looked back at him and shook her head a little. “It’s not your fault. I don’t think you’re any more pleased about this than I am.” As they neared the transporter, she added. “Is there any reason the Captain wanted me down there?” She couldn’t imagine there being any use for an Engineering crew member, unless it was possibly Scotty.

"Thanks Cam." Bones stated. "You're right on that. Because of me. I believe, but I'm not sure. I haven't seen much of what's going on. I know Abby is holding information back. Don't ask me what." He sighed, stepped up on the transporter pad. The man looked between Cam and the transporter officer. "Everything will work." He stated, more for himself than Cam. Then again she didn't know everything.

“She hasn’t been the same...” Cam muttered, almost to herself. She got onto the transporter and looked at the officer, then over at McCoy. “I hope you’re right..” With that, the transporters turned on and the two ended up near the shuttle on the planets surface. Unlike the previous landing party, there was no large welcome part. This was probably good, since the transporter technology could have possibly startled the locals, if they did not have at least theories on how to construct something similar.

Of course Abby was no where in sight for whatever reason. She was still in her room half an hour . Having gotten out of her original death contraption. She was down to her shift, and began to shimmy into her yellow dress, which had plenty of pockets for stuff along with a removeable skirt with pants underneath.
"I believe we should head to the fancy building." McCoy sighed, not seeing the woman that they wanted. "McCoy to Kirk." The man barely waited for his captain to answer. "Where are we supposed to be going? Abby isn't even in sight?" The man started to walk to the building that he had previously stated.

Jim picked up his communicator and moved to a place where he could hear McCoy. “Abby’s not there?” Great. He hoped she was just having issues with her dress. “Do you see a large building right in front of you? That’s the one.” He wanted to go check on Abby himself, but he wasn’t sure how proper that would be for him to go up to check on the woman. He put a hand over his communicator briefly, then looked at T’Aimnu. “You know where Abby was changing, right? Can you go check on her?”
Cam followed McCoy towards the largest building, looking around. Now she got an idea of why she was in that dress.

T'Aimnu looked at the Captain and nodded. "Yes sir." With that she started off to go check on her friend.
At the moment that T'Aimnu turned to start up the stairwell, Abby started down. "What took you so long?" The Vulcan chastised.
"Try to take off the damned dress by yourself." Abby shot back. "I'll grab McCoy, if you'll let Kirk know what was the hang up."
After a moment of thought, the Vulcan nodded in agreement, and headed back to the ballroom.
Abby sighed and headed towards the doors.
At about the same time the two separate parties met at the doors.
"What took you so long woman?" McCoy asked.
"Well you try and get out of these deathtraps by yourself without being use to it." Abby shot back. "Come on Kirk is probably worrying about us now." She took a few steps away back in the direction that she had originally came from. The woman looked like she should have come straight from earth 1770's, complete with cape. "Cam you look lovely in a dress." Abby complemented

Jim had been surveying the ballroom with Spock when T’Aimnu came back. “Is Abby okay? Was she there?” He looked genuinely concerned. He didn’t trust this planet, or this mission. There was a small part of him that also worried that Abby had met with the man from before. He didn’t trust the military man, even less than he trusted the PM, and that was solely because he was jealous.
Cam brightened up when she saw the familiar face. Deathtraps? Did Abby mean a dress? She looked down at her own and sighed, almost in defeat. She hadn’t considered how hard it would be to take off one of those things. Thankfully, her dress wasn’t as convoluted as the dress Abby had been given, but she had no way of knowing that. Cam took a step towards the ballroom after Abby, then smiled at the compliment. “Thanks, you do as well. Even in something so out of date.” She joked, seeming to be in a better mood with her friend around.

"Captain she is fine. And I quote 'try to take off the damned dress by yourself.' She was completely down the stairs when I was started to come up. She was heading to meet Doctor McCoy and Cam when we split." She spoke softly as she slid back to Spock's side.
"Thanks. Admittedly, I loved the first dress, but I could hardly eat and breathe. This one isn't much better because of the corset, but..." Abby let the sentence die off as she started back to the ballroom. She did look back to make sure the doctor and Cam were following. "I'm sure our hosts will force us to dabble in their form of dancing. I just hope it isn't too... different from our own. "

Jim visibly relaxed, especially at the quote. Yep, that was Abby. He smiled faintly, amused, then nodded. “Alright, thank you T’Aimnu.” He watched Spock as his ‘mate’ moved back towards him.
The Vulcan looked uncomfortable in his own way, but it wouldn’t have been noticeable to the locals. Jim could see his discomfort, and the captain smiled a little more. Spock just looked back at T’Aimnu, looking to see her own feelings to this. He was still getting used to it, which would take a while.
“These dresses aren’t built for comfort..” Cam agreed, following her. Dancing? In this outfit? “Fantastic.” She finished her own thought verbally, but the sarcasm in her voice still fit the conversation.

(Is it just me or does it seem like Spock and T'Aimnu are better off as friends than together?)
T'Aimnu was uncomfortable with the whole play acting as mates. For her, it was either you were or weren't married. But she played along if only for the mission's sake.
A few moments later Abby and McCoy emerged inside the ballroom. "Oh my... I definitely wasn't expecting something this grand." She took a few moments to look around and try and find the rest of the Enterprise crew.
"That's one way to say it." McCoy agreed.

(I dunno, I personally feel like it could go either way with them. They would need more time than the others to accept any feelings than the others would, yknow? I’m not sure though, they could possibly work better as friends. What are your thoughts?)
(Also with the whole spies and all thing, I had a slight idea that could cause some problems. What if one of the crew, I dunno who yet, wonder off and sees something they aren't supposed to? Or hear something in a hallway or something? I’m not sure of what though, but it may add to the distrust of the whole situation.)
Spock had similar feelings about this act, but he tried to continue on with it. He was the first to see the others enter to the ballroom. He nodded in their direction. “Captain.” He said softly, pointing them out to Jim.
Jim looked relieved to see the three. Two more familiar faces were exactly what he needed in this hectic situation. He smiled again, glad to see McCoy, even though he probably wasn’t going to hear the end about bringing the older man down here. He was truly glad to see Abby. Her appearance put his worries to rest. He moved towards them, trying to catch their attention. “Doctor McCoy!” He greeted, figuring that if he called ‘Bones’ from across the room, someone may think something was wrong.
Cam’s eyes were caught on the room. She felt as though she had stepped back into time. While the building had been impressive from the outside, the interior was obviously the main focus. It was easy to tell that dance must’ve been an important aspect of their culture, or at least socialization in this setting. When Jim called to them, she glanced only briefly at the familiar voice, seemingly more interested in the surroundings.

Both Abby and McCoy started towards the others. But once Abby noticed that Cam wasn't coming along, she retraced her steps and lead her friend back to the others.
"This is most definitely an unusual turn of events." T'Aimnu stated.
As the night progressed, the natives, most of them anyways, were becoming a bit more relaxed and rambunctious due to the libations.
At one point, one of the woman pulled Abby away to join a group of young woman who seemed to not be attached to any of the younger men who were floating around. The doctor who spoke up earlier also pried McCoy into a group, talking about medical problems and practices.
"Well that did not take that long." T'Aimnu stated, some sort of stringed instruments playing in the background.

(Maybe we should just kind of put them more on a friend track and reevaluate later, if that makes sense?)
(That sounds good. We could go with the oh so famous two girls on a search for the restrooms to get them away from the festivities, then have them maybe walk by someone talking or something?)
Cam followed her friend back to the others, then stood around with them for a while. She seemed to stick around the Enterprise group, uncertain of her surroundings. When Abby got dragged off, she started to stick nearer to McCoy. When he got pulled off to the medical discussion, she went with him for only a minute, then came back to the group. Eventually, she was identified as the doctors wife, and pulled into a group with other wives.
“It did not..” Spock seemed glued to T’Aimnu. He was more comfortable pretending to be the other Vulcan’s mate than he was participating in any of the dancing. When the other four left, he continued to stand near her, observing the area. “This social event truly resembles its earlier counterpart in Earth culture. Remarkable.” He spoke to T’Aimnu, adding. “The social structure of this planet also seems to be present in this event, including the gender roles.” He looked between the groups that Cam and Abby had been pulled into. “Even down to the division of married and single women.”
Jim, after Abby left, had found himself in a group of higher ranking locals. Most of them seemed to be uncoupled, with maybe a handful having wives located in Cam’s group. The group seemed to consist of important military leaders and other officials. He made an acquaintance in one of the military men, who had a similar temperament as himself, and seemed to be spending most of his time in that group with him.

{Agreed.
Yea, I was going to have Abby come across some information from some loosen lips. But we can go with that.
Ok that's it, I'm naming Abby's dinner partner Andre after Turn, given he's practically the same person. And despite the braid and him being a British officer I found him to be cute.}
"Agreed, although the wives and woman in general seem to have more autonomy then Terran women in the past. " T'Aimnu nodded. She did seem to want to move from Spock's side either. "You do realize that we should probably, will have to participate in at least one dance, right?" She asked, looking briefly at him.
Sooner rather than later Andre and a few other male guest had pulled Abby's group on the dance floor. While Abby had had some prior dance experience, this did not compare. She was laughing and having a good time, mostly because of Andre's snide remarks. But sooner rather than later, Abby was looking rather good on the dance floor, doing a couple of rather simple lifts. Andre of course having talked her through most of the moves. After three dances, she excused herself from the dance floor after Andre had gotten her and himself another drink. Abby wandered back to Kirk. "Pardon me gentlemen, but may I sneak my Captain away for a moment." She asked.

(He is cute, from what photos I’ve seen. I support this decision.)
“That is true.” Spock agreed, more in his element as he observed the ballroom. He glanced at her, looking as disappointed as a Vulcan could be, but he nodded. “We do not want to be anymore conspicuous than we already are.” It still didn’t mean he wanted to participate. He watched one particular couple, one of the more visible ones, trying to figure out the technique. Once he had a decent feel, which took some time, he turned to T’Aimnu. “I think I understand the basics of their dance. Do you need more time to observe?” Which was his way of asking her to dance.
Jim spent his time conversing with the other men, and he was starting to really enjoy it. When Abby came to get him, he looked as relaxed as he had all night. He hadn’t seen her dancing with Andre. If he had, his mood probably wouldn’t have been so good. He excused himself from the two locals he had currently been speaking with, then moved away from the group with Abby. “Everything okay?” He asked, a little more concerned then when she walked up, but still in a good mood.
