(Do you mind if we put it on hold until we can figure out a better way to continue it?
Do you mind if I timeskip to them landing? I've got a whole idea for the planet.)

During the entire half hour, Abby had her eyes closed, half asleep. But she was mentally preparing, bringing her acting face up and going. The moment the craft landed, she stood up after getting out of her restraints with her clothing bag in hand. Both T'Aimnu and Abby nodded at each other supply. "Showtime." She stated, looking at everyone. Being the first out, she had a good lay of the land and of a small group consisting of native residents of the planet and Federation.
Abby waited until everyone was out and then approached the group. "Hello." Abby nodded, a soft smile on her lips. They had landed in a small green space. She could see multiple people passing through the shops. The women that she could see had paused what they were doing and were staring. They were specifically staring at her and T'Aimnu, and what they were wearing.
She swallowed nervously. "May I introduce the Captain of the Flagship of the Federation, my dear Captain, James Kirk. His first officer Commander Spock, of the planet Spock. His mate, Lieutenant Commander T'Aimnu." Abby motioned to each person in order. She looked incredibly uncomfortable with the outside eyes upon her.
"Greetings." T'Aimnu nodded.
"I am Lieutenant Commander Smith, Chief Officer of Intelligence. It's an honor for you to host us." Abby nodded looking at the natives.
On the other hand the Prime minister and native diplomats and wives looked increasingly uncomfortable. "It is our honor to meet you and your crew, Captain, however diverse it is." The PM looked over to his wife who spoke once he was done with his spiel. "Ladies if you'll follow us. We have a small gift for you. We understand this is a huge cultural change and we would like to share it with you." She smiled. At her nod, a few females who looked like servants practically pull T'Aimnu and Abby away and towards a grand building.
Abby in her panicked eyes looked at James, hoping he would do something to stop this. But in a few moments they had disappeared into the build.
"Now that the women are being taken care of. Gentlemen, we have a lot to discuss. If you'll kindly follow me. The ladies will be along shortly." The PM added, motioning to the same building as the women.

Spock had taken advantage of the travel time to do a limited study on the planets current weather, as well as what little he could gather of the geography from the shuttles instruments. When they landed, both of the men stood up and grabbed their bags. They followed Abby and T’Aimnu out. Spock looked around at the surrounding group, then began to survey the area. He could feel the eyes of the locals, and for once they seemed to be focused more on the women and less on the Vulcans. Interesting. He noted this mentally. Their culture seemed more anxious around oddly dressed women than it did around life forms that clearly were not from their planet. He noted this silently. He nodded politely to the inhabitants when his name was brought up.
James seemed more focused on the group immediately around them than the area. He could feel their uncertainty, but tried to ignore it. When he was introduced, he smiled and nodded softly at the natives. “It’s an honor to be here.” He said briefly, going quiet again as Abby continued her introductions. At the comment about his diverse landing party, he smiled again, a rehearsed smile. “Again, thank you for hosting us.” He responded briefly, before the Prime Minister’s wife had a chance to speak.
When the two women were dragged off, Kirk felt about as panicked as Abby looked. Abby knew the most of anyone in his party. Her being dragged away left him blind. He had half the mind to insist the group stayed together, but he knew that would look suspicious and possibly offend the locals. When the PM spoke again, he nodded and followed to the building, Spock staying near him.
Kirk may have been blind, but he could play diplomat. “Your planet is very reminiscent to my own.” Reminiscent as in it looked like a picture out of history, but reminiscent nonetheless. “Your architecture is outstanding.” He added, looking at the grand building they were about to enter.

In the time that the women were away. A few things had happened. A few questions had been raised around the population of Vulcans, Anduarns and their culture had been raised, and answered. "Gentlemen would you like a drink? I believe this is something similar to your, is it Brandy, I believe?" The PM offered, a servant coming by with prefilled glasses of the proffered drink, everyone had taken one. Leaving just two, one each for Spock and Kirk.
It took the women about a hour and half between them being pulled away and them reappearing, with the rest of the ranking ladies at the front. Just from the gossip alone, Abby had learned a lot. By the time they were done, the two women looked completely different. Both were wearing gowns that looked extremely similar to styles worn in the late 1700's. Although T'Aimnu's gown looked like a mixture of Vulcan and of this planet. That alone made her gown more simple than Abby's.
As the flock of women descend a grand stairwell, the PM stood from where he sat and walked to greet his wife with a simple kiss to her forehead. "You my dear look lovelier than that of your roses." He had a soft smile on his lips. Being at the back of the flock, the group parted allowing T'Aimnu to be seen first. "Captain, Commander." The only thing she had allowed was her dress. Two more woman moved out of the way, allowing Abby to be seen. She on the other hand was completely different. Her makeup was the same, but her hair and dress was completely different. She was wearing an uncomfortable green corseted dress straight from the revolutionary war that matched her eyes wonderfully.
"Now that the ladies are done freshening up, perhaps we move to Dinner?" He offered his arm to his wife and started the walked to the Dining room. Although the pair paused a minute or so to not loose the group as everyone found their partner.

(Look up Peggy Shippen Turn. As that's what I imagined Abby's hair with the single tight ringlet to be. And the dress that is wearing from a garden scene.)

When offered the drink, both men took the glass. Spock was more hesitant to take a drink than Jim was, who only held it for a moment before looking as though he would drink it. Before he did, the women began to descend the staircase. At this distraction, he put his glass down. He watched the women come down, looking for the two he was most familiar with. When the PM stood, so did Kirk, unsure if it was necessary to or not. Spock followed this lead, leaving the two men standing and waiting for their female crew mates.
Spock’s eyes focused on T’Aimnu once she was revealed. To see her in such an outfit surprised him, despite it being part of the mission. He noticed the familiar sense of his native planet’s touch on her dress, which impressed him more than the other dresses. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Abigail and briefly glancing at her. Her change surprised him more. Spock’s eyes went to T’Aimnu again.
When Jim saw T’Aimnu, he was more surprised than Spock. He knew something like that may happen, with all the stares the group had gotten solely because of the women’s clothes. He just didn’t expect a change that great. While it wasn’t as decorative as some of the other women, she still fit in, and it suited her much better than the other dresses would have. Then he saw Abby, and his eyes widened a little. There was a surprise. She fit in more than some of the locals, with how much she had gone along with. Of course, it didn’t look like it actually fit, or at least not comfortably. James subconsciously noted how the color of the dress matched her eyes, and couldn’t help but look between her eyes and the dress.
When the others began to pair up and walk to the dining room, Spock was the first to begin to line up. He stood near T’Aimnu, looking fairly nervous for a Vulcan, which was probably only noticeable to the people in their own party. He wasn’t sure how much the locals would expect of them, knowing little more about the Vulcans than what they had time to tell them. He wasn’t sure how much of a display the two would have to put on to pass as mates.
Spock gave T’Aimnu a nod. “T’Aimnu, you look pleasant.” He almost used the phrase ‘appropriate for the setting’, but if one of the locals heard him, that would definitely set them apart. He also almost used the word adequate, but knew if Jim heard him, he wouldn’t hear the end of it.
Kirk hesitantly made his way towards Abby, walking with her. He wasn’t silent for a moment, scanning their surroundings. The situation was still concerning to him, but he frequently examined the other humans change in dress. “I’m surprised you let them go that far with the hair...” he said softly to her, smiling about as much as he could given the circumstances. “You look good. You look like one of my ancestors, but you look good.”

Once the PM was happy at the matchings, the pair continued on the way. They had whispered back and forth about Kirk and Abby. About a minute later they separated, with the guy helping to seat his wife and then waited to sit at the head of the table, allowing the women to sit.
"Thank you Spock." T'Aimnu replied in Vulcan, hoping that the locals would mistake it for something else. She offer her arm to Spock, noting that all the women had a hand draped over the man's arm and hand. She was very skittish, given their Vulcan tendencies of skin contact. She was trying to navigate her feeling for the man, and the mission they had at hand. "The dress uniform suits you." She stated softly. The Vulcan looked around, taking in all the doors and exits. "The similarities to the last quarter of the 18th century Earth astonishes me to no end. It is uncanny. As Abigail would say."
Even though she was more focused on not tripping down the staircase in her dress, Abby could feel the moment Kirk laid eyes on her. She stopped at the bottom as she let Kirk approach her. "Well with as much damage as the they did to it, it was either this or make T'Aimnu up more. She was mad enough as it is." She pulled at the small, reddish-brunette ringlet that they left down. At Kirk's complement, she blushed slightly while eyeing Kirk and kind of bit her lip. "The Dress uniform always look good on you." She looked at the group, and noticed the distance between the last couple and them. "Shall we?" She asked, motioning. "Let's say I don't envy the women and our ancestors with the corsets." She murmured, it was obvious that she wasn't use to the corset with her breathing. Her chest looked like it would come out of the dress at any moment, but that wasn't unsimilar to the other women and even T'Aimnu. "They even made us learn a few symbols with the fans." Abby sighed, following the group at a growing distance. "How is it that I almost look like an ancestor of yours?" She looked up at him.

Spock looked at T’Aimnu’s arm hesitantly, then did the same as the locals were doing. He was nearly as skittish as she was. “Thank you.” He responded, following her lead and speaking in Vulcan. He also looked around as they headed to the Dining room, taking in the setting. “Indeed... quite ‘uncanny’.” He walked the rest of the way in silence, focused on concentrating his mind away from his feelings of T’Aimnu and solely to the mission. When they got to the Dining room, he looked around as they entered, still quite interested in the similarities between the two planets. When he saw the planet’s inhabitants start to seat their female counterparts, he did the same for T’Aimnu. Spock helped to seat her before going to his own seat.
Jim continued to smile as he imagined how T’Aimnu may have responded to the makeover. He watched her hand mess with her hair, absentmindedly. He almost didn’t catch the look on her face after his compliment, which lightened his mood more. “Thanks.” He responded to the compliment, then nodded as they started to move. As they walked, he looked back over at her corset and shook his head a little. “That does look uncomfortable..” he grimaced slightly, out of sympathy. “I’m glad I got to stay in the Dress uniform. I’m sure Spock would say the same.” He mused, briefly looking up a few pairs to the Vulcans, then back at Abby. He smiled a little again at the fans. “We could use that. I mean, maybe not here, but on some other planet.” He joked. If there was another planet... especially after tomorrow. He shrugged a shoulder at her question. “I feel like if I looked far enough into my family history, I’d find at least one female relative in a dress similar to yours.” James replied, looking around at the area as he did.
Upon entry of the dining room, James noticed the other men helping the women to their seats. He followed suit and went to help Abby sit down before taking his own seat.

Given the fact that Vulcans were known as telepaths, T'Aimnu did her best to keep her barriers up and not take in Spock's mind given she was still attracted to the male. She was mentally prepping for this whole affair to get awkward.
"Between you and Spock, I can not imagine you two wearing an almost dress." Abby giggled slight. "Although the way the men dress is almost romantic." The woman didn't realize what she had said. With only Kirk around, she was a bit freer than normal after what had to been similar to a glass of wine. "The fans I doubt it, if anything it's one of the more archaic things that I can see." She sighed, sobering up at the thought slightly. "You might, I know I wouldn't
As Abby entered the room, she noticed about ten more couples, and two other table beyond the 14 person head table. In the first place she wasn't sure how many to except, but she would have thought that there would have been more people. That particular thought floated across her face and a moment later the last woman to come to her seat passed by Abigail. "Dear if you thought the party part started now, more people will be at the dance after dinner." She stated softly with a grin on her face." She looked to be about the same age as Abby.
"Oh thank you." Abby smiled sweetly at the young woman. As Kirk helped to seat her, she noticed that he was to the left of the PM and right next to her. Spock was next to the PM's wife and T'Aimnu of course. "Thank you Captain." Abby stated formally. Somehow there had been a rumor started while she was getting dressed that she had her position due to a roll with the Captain. She knew this might help in the long run, but at the same token not.
"Thank you." T'Aimnu nodded, eyeing the seating arrangement.

Jim snorted at her remark, smiling still. “I would wear an almost dress. I’d look good in an almost dress.” He joked, glad to be sharing this small moment with Abby. He cooled his nerves, if only for a moment. When the young woman spoke to Abby, he glanced between the two, wondering what exactly the dance would involve. The two Vulcans at a dance? The Captain nearly laughed at the idea. Once seated, Kirk studied the surrounding setup, as did Spock. The two briefly made eye contact, the near worried look in Spock’s eyes reminded Jim of the situation at hand. Ideas of the Vulcans at a dance, and of Abby, would have to wait.
Once eye contact with Jim had broken, Spock continued to take in the remaining seating configurations. He took a similar note to this as Abby did, wondering why there wasn’t more people. He had not heard the information about the dance. Instead, he assumed that perhaps leadership was incredibly small on the planet, and that few other ambassadors were present. He looked over at T’Aimnu, then across to Jim and Abby, glad to be positioned by those he trusted.

Abby outright giggled softly at the thought of James in that getup. However the longer she thought about it, the more the slight smile disappeared and she bit her lower lip. It kinda appealed to her, if they were ever together. She took a quick breath in and scoped the room out. In the end, she and T'Aimnu met eyes with a sort of grimness.
A few moments after everyone was seated, the PM signaled a servant who briefly disappeared and then reappeared with three more men behind him. Each one carried a different item. The last one carried a drink, presumably some sort of wine. Once the plates and glasses were filled, the PM up stood up. "May I have everyone's attention. Thank you. I would like to offer a toast. A toast to both the Federation and to the end of the grievous war. One in bitter happiness that we hope to a priceless peace and that we may never forget our lost, brave, young men lost to the cause. Another, here's to a much happier, prosperous alliance and hopefully someday soon merging." A choruses of what the equivalent of hear hears and glass clinks.
"Salute." Abby murmured, feeling incredibly uncomfortable. She clinked glasses first with her seat neighbor then with T'Aimnu and waited for Kirk. She wanted to see in Kirk's eyes that he was just as uncomfortable with the speech that she was. Once the formalities were over, she hid her uncomfortableness behind a rather long and big drink of the wine like drink.

Kirk watched as the train of servants brought out the food and drink. When everything was set, he looked briefly at the drink, then at his companions. When the PM stood up to speak, he looked up at him. He was similarly uncomfortable with the remarks, but did his best to hide it. He heard faint words from Abby, and mimicked them slightly louder. “Salute.” He clinked glasses with the Prime Minister, and then waited for Spock before turning towards Abby and meeting hers. When he met her eyes, he let the mask of confidence slip briefly. He knew that he had to keep up the act, especially at such close proximity to the PM. Still, he let it slip for a moment when he saw a similar look in Abby’s eyes. She didn’t like this any more than he did. He looked away from her and to the plate and glass in front of him. He took a similarly long sip of the liquid, then put the glass down. This was going to be a long night..

Abby looked down at her plate, most of it actually looked edible for her that was after putting her half empty glass down lightly. She grabbed a utensil similar to a fork after watching her neighbor and nibbled at a few things uncertainly.
A few bites into his meal the PM finally spoke up. "I understand woman serve in active combat positions?" He asked. "Forgive me, but our planet has a lot to learn. I also must ask why Vulcans are so touch averse? Even between spouses." He queried, looking between Kirk and Spock.
"Yes we do, we serve in the exact same fashion as men, in every way. Matter of a fact, I have led a few highly secretive and successful missions in the past." Abby declared, with a small, proud smile. However as soon as she finished, any noise stopped. "What is the issue with that?" She cocked her head slightly, looking around. "Well don't you believe that man and woman are better at different things?" The PM queried back.
The hand of Abby that held a knife, tightened and then loosen and let go of the knife before hiding underneath the table, and tightened again. That hand was the hand nearest to Kirk. "Yes we do sir. We see that every individual is suited for different things and we don't hold back their potential to add to society, just because their sensibilities were too soft." Only the group from the Enterprise could see the fire that the PM had lit in Abby's eyes. "Excuse me Prime Minister, but where I come from we are hundreds of years past the need to protect a woman's sensibilities." She looked down at her plate.
The PM simply raised an eyebrow. He wasn't use to a woman having an outburst like that. "Of course. So Vulcans?" He queried again.

Spock searched his plate, not familiar with the flora and fauna of the planet enough to know what exactly was what. He glanced around, seeing the locals, as well as Abby and Jim, had already begun to pick at their plates. Spock picked up his utensils, then cut into something in an attempt to examine it. Once he determined to the best of his ability that what he was eating was a plant of some form, he brought a small piece to his mouth. At the PM’s question, he looked up at him, then over at Jim. Before Jim spoke, Abby did. It was more logical for her to speak on behalf of the women of the Federation, but the planet’s inhabitants didn’t seem to agree. He glanced around, then over to Abby.
Jim has started to pick at his own food sometime before Abby and Spock. When the PM spoke, he put his utensils down to respond, but found Abby’s words beating him to it. At first, he didn’t think anything about it. He picked his utensils back up and decided to try a few more bites. Abby could handle the questions about women’s roles, and Spock or T’Aimnu could handle the questions about Vulcans. He took another bite of his meal, glancing over at Abby on occasion to show he was listening. Then he listened to the room around them, and realized no one else was talking.
Jim looked over to Spock, then to T’Aimnu and then the rest of the individuals gathered around the table. Even the PM looked uncomfortable. These people were fine with a federation of aliens, but a woman in a high ranking position was just truly unbelievable. When Abby finished, he nearly flinched, but maintained his best calm and confident look. She was right, even if her truth made the room tense, and he needed to show that he supported her, especially as her Captain. He looked over at her, noticing just how fired up she had gotten. He didn’t blame her. He noticed the clenched hand under the table. Jim dropped his hand that was closest to her under the table, then put his hand on top of her clenched one, trying his best to give her some sort of support.
When the PM asked his next question again, Jim looked at Spock, who only looked over at him. Finally, Spock spoke. “Vulcans are a naturally telepathic species.” He looked at the PM again. The room was possible even more quiet than before. “We do not tend to touch one another, or other species, because our telepathy is related to touch. We would not be able to read minds unless we touch the individual.” He hoped this addition may calm some worries of an alien species reading their mind. He glanced back over at Kirk, hoping this would be some indicator of the natives reaction, but he found little help.
“My mate and I,” that did not feel right to say, “have not been intimate because of this biological factor, as well as our own cultural practices. We are a more private culture than, for example, the humans.” Who were holding hands under the table. “We do not require touch either, unlike many other species, perhaps like yourselves.” Spock paused, then added. “While we can mate at any time, we have a ritualistic ceremony known as Pon Farr. During this time, Vulcan’s much mate or fight in a battle for the attempt to mate, or they will eventually die.” He explained, deciding not to go into too much detail about the battle or the symptoms that precede dying from not participating. “I hope this answers any questions your people have, Prime Minister.”

"Forgive our curiosity. But women may achieve such a high rank, if only behind the battle lines. We are cherished." The PM's wife stated, after having realized she should have spoken up sooner. "Although we wish to not battle, we still marry for love and have all the rights and responsibilities of men." It sounded very much like a canned answer.
"Now this Pon Farr that you speak of is purely biological, correct?" Another man spoke up. "I am a doctor and this is incredibly fascinating for me. And most doctors of this world to have to the ability to learn more than we already have." He added.
After the PM'S wife spoke up, Abby released the tension in her hand just enough to grap a hold of James' hand. Some of the fire had drained from her eyes, but that didn't mean that her brain had stopped. She had slowed down her attempts at picking at her plate. Perhaps Abby could use this to her advantage. She still was very much tense and unhappy.
T'Aimnu nodded slightly in approval of Spock's explanation. "Most of it had to do with our planet's history. We were such a fiery people that in order to survive, we had to control our emotions just to survive as a population." She added simply. "Although we do have our own ways of showing affection, we rarely show them. As Spock stated, we very much are a hugely private people. "
By this time, most of the natives had finished eating. Abby had only ate about half of her plate. With the corset, she couldn't eat much more. A few minutes late, a trail of servants came out with desserts

Jim looked over at the PM’s wife when she spoke up. When she was done, he glanced over at Abby. She had visibly relaxed some, but still looked upset. He relaxed slightly, the fire in her eyes that had tensed him up the most was now nearly absent.
Spock nodded at T’Aimnu’s response. The local doctor’s interest in the Vulcans seemed to be relieving some of the tension. Perhaps mutual interest and understandings could be reached with this planet’s people. “Vulcans approach most every aspect of life as logically as we can, from relationships to simple every day choices.” He added on. The new interest in his people almost led him to describing the anatomical differences between Vulcans and humans, and maybe beginning a discussion about the similarities and differences of this planet’s anatomy.
Jim seemed to pick up on this interest as well, glad to get a seemingly positive response. “Maybe we can provide your people with literature on Vulcan culture and biology, as well as humans, and other life forms present in the Federation.” He didn’t trust this mission, for some reason, deep down. Still, he was there to play diplomat. Exchange of knowledge was always a good start for that. “It would be our honor to present you with knowledge of the Federation, especially with discussions of joining.” His grip on Abby’s hand seemed to tighten a little. Typically something like this wouldn’t rack Kirk’s nerves so bad, but there was something he just didn’t like. He looked between the PM and the man who had previously spoken.
Spock nodded at Jim’s suggestion, briefly glancing at the dessert as it came out. Once it was set in front of him, he began to pick at it.

The moment Kirk's grip on Abby's hand tightened, she glanced down to where their hands met. She then glanced at Kirk, guarded worry in her eyes.
"Of course. That would be an honor for us learn more." The doctor nodded. "Also I hear that you have a chief medical officer, why is he not down with your envoy?" He questioned, trying to keep the conversation going.
For the rest of the course, Abby had her attention pulled elsewhere. Namely her seated neighbor who happened to be a major in their military. But to be fair, everyone else had split into smaller conversations. Some of the questions, were personal, but of the get to know you guise. Others were about woman in Starfleet and in earth history. He definitely seemed to charm Abby. Also Abby managed to go through another two glasses of the wine like beverage due to the conversation. [He looks like John Andre from Turn braid and all.]
T'Aimnu also had her hands full from one of the wives, trying to yank some more cultural information about Vulcan from her. However the woman kept always going back to the biological and emotional aspects. The Vulcan female was tiring of this endless effort. "Our planet is no more. The lucky few who survived are scattered. Most are trying to make a new homeplanet."
That shut the woman up fairly quickly. "Forgive me for being so invasive."

Kirk slowly relaxed again. This could work out. Sure, the security guard who knew first aid had been a bit relieving, but he could use Bones more. “Doctor McCoy? We weren’t certain how many we could include on our envoy without overstepping our welcome. Didn’t want to bring down a crowd.” He smiled a little, looking at the doctor as he joked. “We could call up for him to come down, if you’d like to speak with him. I’m sure he can tell you a lot more than we could about his field. He’s a good man too.” Bones was going to be pissed, but it may be better if he was with them. Jim’s grip on Abby’s hand relaxed more at the thought.
Spock listened in for a while on the conversation between the doctor and Jim. “He is a very well educated man. He could provide insight onto any questions you may have.” He added simply, having similar hope that McCoy’s presence could make tomorrow better.
A question from further down the table was directed to Spock, which drew his attention from the previous conversation. A man in a military uniform, similar to the man next to Abby but not quite the same, began to ask him questions. The questions all pertained to Vulcan culture, and their use of force and violence. Spock answered them all the best he could, without diving too much into their history. When T’Aimnu spoke about their planet now, the soldier looked uncomfortable, then thanked Spock and fell silent.
Before Spock’s conversation had ended, Jim had looked around at his group. They were all in conversations, looking fairly comfortable. Abby had seemed to calm down. He was thankful for this. This only lasted for a moment, before he realized who Abby was talking to, and how he seemed to be charming her. At first, it didn’t bother him, he was glad she had someone to converse with. It slowly got under his skin, but he didn’t say anything. He couldn’t just turn to her and tell her he was jealous. Typically, he wouldn’t be jealous.
Finally, he decided to just get over it. He squeezed her hand gently, then let go of it. He decided that he should focus on the conversation, not on his feelings.

"Yes! Please do, and let him know that he may bring his wife, should he have one. We were wondering why you did not have a medical man in your group." The PM smiled. "On that note, let us head to the ballroom." The man stood, offering his wife his arm. Who gladly took it.
While that was happening, Abby had managed to excuse herself from the conversation with the gentleman. "Captain, I'll meet Doctor McCoy, if you would like me to?" She asked, needed to get away if only for a few moments. The woman was definitely feeling a little flushed. She stood quickly, which just about made every other native male stand. But the females also stood in kind, moving to get ready to move to the next phase. Abby looked around at the slight commotion she made.
Abby's seat companion, rose also. "I will accompany you, if it's alright with your commander." He stated.
Abby shook her head. "No, no, I couldn't bare to pull you away from the party. There's no need." Abby stepped towards Kirk and stepped behind her chair, waiting for him to give his approval. Her dress briefly brushing against Kirk.
T'Aimnu simply raised an eyebrow at the motion, but she herself rose after a moment's hesitation.

“I’ll let him know!” Kirk smiled at the PM. He looked over at Abby, a little surprised that she wanted to, but realized just how uncomfortable she was in this situation. He glanced over at T’Aimnu, wondering if he should send both women, if nothing else but to calm Abby. Instead: “If you’d like. I’ll let him know to come down, and I think I’ll tell him to bring Cam.” He paused, then added for any local ears listening in. “His wife.” McCoy was going to kill him for this, but Jim could use another crew member he could trust. She was also someone Abby was friends with, which he hoped would help her.
Jim looked at the other man who had sat near Abby, then gave him a polite smile as she declined his offer. The look in his eyes wasn’t solely polite, though the stranger probably couldn’t pick that up. He looked back at Abby, the look in his eyes changing again. “Do you want Spock, T’Aimnu or myself to go with you?” He wanted to go, but he wasn’t sure how it would look for the Captain to leave the first part of the dance. It would look better if she asked him, especially on a planet where women seemed to only move from room to room with the help of a man companion.
Spock stood up. He briefly glanced over at Jim and Abby, who had already been standing, then turned his attention to T’Aimnu. Mimicking the natives, he offered his arm out to do a similar pose they had done to come into the dining room. He glanced over at Jim again. “T’Aimnu and I will follow the Prime Minster, unless we are needed to meet with Doctor McCoy.” If Jim did decide to go meet McCoy, someone from their party should be present for the entirety of the dance.

"Captain, I'll be fine meeting them at the front door. I'll be gone for just a moment." Abby assured Kirk. However right as she turned, a servant accidentally dumped a vat of the winestuff on the front of her dress. Abby was completely shocked.
"I'm so sorry miss!" The servant exclaimed.
Abby was shocked into silence. She wasn't mad, but more like disappointed.
"Miss Smith, I understand you brought a dress. It was in the same room if you wish to change. Which is also your bed chamber." The PM'S wife spoke. Abby nodded slightly. "I'll be back later than expected." She murmured, backing away and headed back up the stairs.

Kirk looked uncertain, but nodded. When she turned, he didn’t notice the servant until it was too late. He watched, grimacing slightly as the wine spilled across the front of her dress. He looked back up at her face, seeing the disappointment and grimacing a little more. “Alright.. I’ll make the call. You’ll have time.” He gave her one last sympathetic look as she left, then turned to walk towards the ball room.
Jim walked about halfway to the dance, then stopped. There were few people here, less noise. It would be easier to make the call here. Jim pulled out his communicator and called up to McCoy. “Bones, turns out we need you down here after all.” He started, once the other man answered. “You’ll need to wear Dress uniform. The Prime Minister and the local doctors want to meet you. The Prime Minister also said to bring your wife, Cam.” He hoped the doctor understood, not wanting to blatantly say ‘pretend Cam’s your wife’ in case the walls had ears.
“Bring your medical equipment-“ Jim paused, then added. “To show the locals.” Maybe that would sound less suspicious. “A change of clothes too. Have Cam wear something similar to what Abby was talking about, I think you heard her talking about it earlier. They have accommodations down here, if not. Any questions?” He knew Bones would have complaints about this, and that he would hear them either now or when they came down, possibly both.

(So I was trying to find Cam’s last name and rank because I really forgot, especially rank. I couldn’t find either but I thinking her last name was Russ. Not sure at all on rank, but I noticed on the old page that Abby was a Commander. I didn’t know if you wanted to leave it as Lieutenant Commander or move it back up to Commander.)

{Sorry about the shortening posts, my muse is going into hiding, probably because of working outside.}
"Damn it Jim, why do you always drag me into this stuff." McCoy sighed. " We will be down in twenty minutes, I've got to round up everything and one." The man rolled his eyes and his grumpy demeanor came back. "You know how much I hate these things. McCoy out." The first thing he did was to replicate a dress similar to what James had mentioned. "McCoy to Cam." That was the next thing he did. While waiting for the woman to answer, Bones started to check and pack his medical kit, which only took a few moments to complete. He didn't like that he didn't know what type of weapons they were walking into.
Being by herself, it allowed Abby to gather her nerves. It also allowed her gather a little more intel. However in her room, she did a quick sweep of her room to make sure she could speak freely, should the need arise. Once she was done with her sweep, she started on her dress. Yes, Abby had been watching when they put the dreaded contraption on her, but that didn't mean that she remembered.

(It’s fine man, i understand lmao)
(And I didn’t see a whole lot, I basically just skimmed through for names and for rankings. I could back though and look through some more.)
“Sorry Bones, we just could use your help down here.” Jim meant that in more ways than just education. “You’ll have a good time.” He replied with a smile, joking. He wasn’t having a great time, and he enjoyed these things much more than McCoy. When he was finished, he headed all the way into the ball room. He searched through the crowds, which felt bigger in this room, and found the two Vulcans.
Spock saw the Captain and nodded at him. “Captain. Will the doctor be attending?”
“Yes. As well as his wife, Cam.” Jim responded, smiling a little. Spock raised an eyebrow at this, then nodded a moment later.
Cam has just returned to her quarters when she got the call. She had been on shift, and was just starting to change into casual clothes when he called. She knew as much about the mission as the rest of the crew, which wasn’t much, other than the captain was on a diplomatic mission. With him was a select few, including Spock. The crew was to remain alert, not officially but as a suggestion. She had heard rumors that the medbay had received instructions to be prepared the next morning, but that was as much as she knew.
Cam didn’t know if McCoy was any more in the know, or why he was calling. In fact, the mission wasn’t even a factor she considered for him calling. She couldn’t think of a reason to hear from him. She was silent for a moment, sitting completely still in her room as she thought about the situation. After a few seconds, she finally responded. “Cam here.” Then fell silent again, unsure of what to say.

So I think this is all I could find, if you find something else I'll add it
{Do we want the relationships to be slow burners or come along much more quickly? Or something in between?
Do you remember any of the songs that we stated were the ship songs for Jim and Abby? Because if not, I have a few songs that would now work? Like half a dozen that I'll be listing.
Better Man by Little Big Town Peter Pan by Kelsea Ballerini What Ifs by Kane Brown Heartbeat by Carrie Underwood It Don't Hurt Like It Used To- Billy Currington
Remember that one plot that we did, involving half of the group getting turned into dogs? What do you think about possibly reviving it and puting a new spin on it? }
{Quick plot not very well thought out for the ST part. They get sent on a mission far out of Fed territory, they go to a bar get information, Kirk is jealous. And some how they get stuck in a interplanetary war, or maybe gun fight and then Kirk finds out about her being a Commander maybe and then maybe how she was apart of Section 31? We could do the human turn dog plot first.}
think the two best episodes we could use the plot of would be of the series final or Cupid's Dagger.
