Edmund "Eddie" Radcliffe son of anita radcliffe and roger radcliffe
Eddie smiled at the others after Fariss's handshake. It made him happy to see the people who took in Tana were so similar. So far, they seemed open and friendly. He didn't flinch when Tana openly ignored Alicio, since that would just draw more attention to it. They just needed to move past it. He hoped that this was as awkward as it got. While there was certain to be rival families meeting, Tana had personal beef with the Betes. It had to be much more of a push for them to actively interact, and Eddie wasn't going to force either of them to be polite.
As much as Eddie wanted to speak, Tana beat him to it. She even had time to spare a glare at one of her friends, probably trying to get him to stop laughing. The kid wasn't doing a great job of hiding his laughter, and there was no way that Tana would take that kind of thing. Eddie knew that she couldn't have changed enough to settle her anger. She would always be a little bear child.
He had to laugh at how much energy she had. She looked torn between being serious and wanting to hug Komboa. Since the lion hadn't moved, she didn't stray from his side. If Komboa hadn't moved on, he would've pushed her forward. The kid needed as much support as he could get, and if they knew each other, if they stayed comfortable around each other, it would help.
"We actually came to offer up a place!" Tana's glare turned into curiosity. He raised an eyebrow, but she shook her head. Eddie's mind cleared and he realized that she wasn't the one in charge of this little group. He shouldn't be surprised, though. As friendly as Tana was, there was no way she had enough power on the Isle to be the one to offer a house. So, Eddie followed her gaze to see who she was looking towards for an answer.
The little lion girl was staring at the kid she had glared at earlier, which led Eddie to size the man up. From what Tana said, it meant that these kids were trying to get on their good side. He didn't want to be suspicious, but he couldn't help the creeping feeling that something was up. Fortunately, he trusted Tana enough not to call them out on anything. "That would be amazing," Eddie let a lazy smile form, keeping anyone from knowing his thoughts. Akram had offered them payment, but Tana made it clear that Mair was the one who decided what they would do.

Colette "Collie" Jessamine de Vil daughter of Cruella de Vil and Jean-Pierre la Pelt
At this, Collie gave a tiny smirk. "Nah." She might try to be cool and unemotional about anything she could get away with. But she was, in fact, still Cliff's sister. Which meant she was under an obligation to be a little bit of an ass from time to time. Especially when it came to enabling what he thought was his ability to guilt trip her.
She followed him into the kitchen, giving no further complaint as her terms were met and a compromise was complied with. She could eat -- that wouldn't be the worst situation, even if those beans would be better served going to Clara or the little ones. But if it got Cliff off her back for now about sleeping, she supposed it was a sacrifice she had to make.
"You tell that swashbuckling git to keep his nose out of my food and sleep." Collie had no ill feeling towards Ian. Far from it, really. He'd been somewhat of a friend for a long time, and she trusted him far more than she trusted a fair number of people.
That didn't mean, however, that she would listen to pleas to eat or sleep, or attempts to teach her brother how to guilt her.

Clifford "Cliff" Jonathan de Vil son of cruella de vil and jean-pierre la pelt
"Hey, be nice." Cliff shot back immediately. He was slightly surprised at himself, since Ian wasn't nearly as important to him as Collie. Protecting one over the other, and choosing Ian, was a new thing for him. This was his sister, and Ian wasn't even his boyfriend. The pirate was his friend, sure, but if it came down to it, he would side with Collie in a heartbeat. They both knew where their own allegiances lied, it wasn't a secret in the relationship who each of them were loyal to. So snapping at Collie over her names for Ian wasn't normal, and Cliff didn't exactly like it.
Still, the words were already there and he couldn't stop them. "That swashbuckling git is the reason I eat enough." Cliff flinched at the admission. He usually didn't talk about his lack of appetite. It was a sore spot for him, since he did it to himself. It wasn't anyone's fault. He was the one who choose to keep his siblings well fed. It was the right thing to do, of course, but no one was making him be this way. If he wanted to be fairly nourished, he would just live with Ian. The pirate wasn't against it by any means, and usually got mad if Cliff left in the middle of the night just so he could get back in the morning for his siblings.
"Sorry," He pulled back quickly, not wanting to fight with Collie again. It was bad enough already, and he had just gotten her to agree to eat. He couldn't have her running from a fight now. "I'm probably just grumpy myself." Hopefully, no one connected that to the fact that he hadn't been to Ian's in a week now. He had made sure to have something to eat the night before, but it hadn't been nearly enough. Since Collie had gotten back, he had taken the chance to stay with Ian more often. That had died down once he noticed how strange his sister had been acting recently.
Cliff centered himself in the kitchen and thought about what they had. The beans were almost old, but they were from Montana. That meant Collie was sure to eat them, at the very least. He wasn't sure if it would be enough though, or even what she needed. Vitamin C was important. Maybe some salsa? He was sure that Montana kept them stocked on that. He pretty much kept everyone well fed with salsa. The amount of tomatoes and peppers that kid grew was impressive. Cliff was pretty sure that if the cowboy wasn't in Big Fork, he was in his gardens. There would be weeks that went by without Montana going to class, since he would get so busy with other things. "Alright, Montana's food it is."

Shiloh Benton Jack Son of ShiverJack & Beatrice Le Beak
Part of Shiloh knew that he couldn't count on Jace's protection forever. Wasn't the whole point that working with her was supposed to make him stronger so that he could stand on his own? He'd learned some about the ferals since joining, and the main thing that he learned was that everyone had to be strong enough themselves. Part of him felt bad that he'd been relying almost completely on Jace. That may be accepted in the civilized part of the Isle, but this was a place for strength.
He didn't say anything in response to the trio of lions and their friend that surrounded him.
Shaka stepped closer. "Cat got your tongue?" he hissed. "It may be a figure of speech, but we can make it literal out here. Doesn't seem to me like you have much use for a tongue anyway." He bent down to pick up a carrot, sniffing it and making a disgusted expression, and then tossing it over his shoulder. He knew wasting food wasn't good, but upsetting this human over the loss of his precious vegetable was worth the loss of one tiny carrot.
Shiloh stepped back from Shaka's advancement, realizing just now that he was completely surrounded by the animals. He let out a little whimper and his eyes widened when he saw Shaka toss his carrot aside. And with that predatory look in their eyes, the young boy realized he was engaging in a literal game of cat and mouse by openly defying them and not letting them run him back to the cities that easily.
"Just leave me alone!" Shiloh said. His gaze jumped from Shaka to Shamakani to Lekan to Mico, looking for the area with the least defense. He was quick and small, which he knew could be an advantage. But would their animal instincts and prowess be able to cancel out his human-like speed?

Farris Nassir Jaohari
son of jafar and narissa Eddie Radcliffe, Komboa Adebayo, Alicio Bleu Bete, and Akram. Okay well, he was obviously missing someone’s information but there was no rush. Unless you know, this was actually turning out to be a really sick and sadistic day trip for Auradon kids to come to the Isle, witness the awful conditions, and then leave knowing that if they didn’t follow in line with everything the King said, they’d end up here. Why hadn’t anyone thought of that possibility yet? Not the point, he could be satisfied with four names and 3 pairs of parents for now. Questions could always be asked at other points in times and by all accounts it wasn’t super serious business at any rate. Not as serious as getting these kids a place to live at any rate. Farris nodded along with Tana’s words, grinning as the group hopefully realized they wouldn’t actually have to move around all that long. “We can bring you there right now actually, it’s not that far from this current place, if you’re willing to check it out.” Seeing as long as no one from the coven or mafia managed to suddenly pop in and mention any place that they may have to offer, they should hopefully be pretty good at selling this place as the best place to stay.

Colette "Collie" Jessamine de Vil daughter of Cruella de Vil and Jean-Pierre la Pelt
Collie was mildly surprised at Cliff's quick defense of Ian. Firstly, because he never really tended to do that. And secondly, because half of her conversations with and about Ian usually ended with Collie insulting him. She didn't particularly mean it, and never did, though. The blonde actually held a lot of respect for the pirate captain, even if she tended to not mention as much. He was a strong leader, a good man, and now, she learned, he fed her brother.
However, she smirked at her brother, leaving the comment about how if he was grumpy, he should go see the pirate git again. If he was in a bad mood, she wasn't going to push him on the subject. "Maybe you should eat too?" She suggested, her look implying she was daring him to turn it down, when he had just admitted he hadn't been eating. "We can split it, if there's no other food?" They would split it, if there was nothing else. That "question" wasn't something he could turn down.

Shamakani Zubayda Oyekan daughter of Zira and Scar
"What're you gonna do, runt? Call Jace? Nanji?" Not bothering with the carrots -- Shaka had that handled, the lioness shoved Shiloh. She didn't intend on severely injuring the human cub, but he did not belong out here, and every second he was, that was another resource stolen -- space, food, shelter -- from their people. The little brat might not consider how his actions -- his human actions -- affected the fragile ecosystem of the Outlands. But his actions had consequences, whether the mutt or the house cat wanted to admit it. "Are you going to make us leave?" Putting a hand to her mouth, she pretended to look horrified.
She didn't have anything to fear.
"Why don't you back up that order with your own muscle, small fry, instead of wailing for mommy and daddy every time you land in trouble?"

Fern Alana Facilier Daughter of Facilier and Ayizan
Fern looked at all of them. She started with Tait, and then Del, and then Mori. She was extremely proud of her leadership team. They were all strong and intelligent individuals in their own way, and that's what she had looked for when choosing who she wanted by her side. Yes, she could have gone with three of the strongest and most aggressive of magic kids. She could have gone with three of the most sensitive and sympathetic kids. But she didn't want that. She wanted a diverse group of skills that could fill in where others lacked. Del was the perfect example of that, working as a very good second in command to stand strong in the areas where Fern herself lacked. She was proud of them for all having a specific job that would allow them to show off their abilities and strengths.
She nodded in response to Mori. "Mori is right. The adults won't dare touch them when we're around. I think it's best if we get a feel for the situation before determining how to proceed with protection though. Until then, I want one of us to be with the transfers until we figure out a more solid plan." It wasn't only a situation of feeling out the transfers, but her own coven members as well. She knew that feelings towards the transfers would likely be negative, but she needed to figure out which coven members were willing to push those feelings aside and do what was right. Putting the wrong person on the protection team could easily result in transfer death because they were "accidentally" lead into a dangerous situation. Mori, Del, and Tait could hopefully be trusted to at least not act on any negative feelings. It wasn't smart. Not when Beast likely sent them here to find any little reason for him to destroy their home.
"As for somewhere to live, we could repurpose the clubhouse." It was a perfect place. It would allow them to have their own space and privacy from the coven. Fern definitely didn't want to invite them to live with her. She couldn't risk anything happening to Junior, the Slims, or Monty. The triplets would likely need to deal with the Mafia transfers - at least Montana - and she wasn't happy about that, even if she knew the triplets could handle themselves. Any other buildings were too small or beat up or close to the adults. "It's already livable in there. Any meetings between the four of us can be held at one of our houses or the clinic. And extra classes can be suspended for now. You know I prioritize the education and well being of the coven, but the transfers are our top priority now."

Bonbob Shimmwyn Cometir Malarkey Son of Swizzle and Crumbelina
Shimmy was glad to hear about Ralph. He'd have to pass that information onto Hana when he had a chance. He'd heard stories about Ralph, but he knew it was more important to the Hamadas to know that Ralph and his family were apparently doing okay, since their mother had been a close friend of Ralph's before he was unfairly sent to the Isle. Tia too. He had never been super close to the girl, but he knew that she was a big San Fransokyo citizen, a talented mech wrestler, and a superhero in training that had been sent here unfairly. Again, he had never been CLOSE with her, but some of his friends were.
It was unfair, really, for people like that to be sent to the Isle. Like, Bellonso and his family had MORE of a reason. Not that he deserved it. In fact, Shimmy would destroy anyone that even hinted that his friend deserved the Isle. Ralph didn't deserve the Isle. Tia didn't deserve the Isle. Bellonso didn't deserve the Isle. Still, Shimmy kept his mouth closed about all of that right now. They seemed to have moved on to discussing leadership and Shimmy didn't wanna draw attention to Tia. Obviously people here knew she wasn't native to the Isle, but he still didn't want any reason for unwanted attention on her.
Plus, he had a feeling Hana would punch him if he did anything to get Tia in danger. And Hana could punch hard. He grimaced and rubbed his shoulder in memory of the last time she had punched him.
He finally looked between Billy and Fausto, trying to look like he'd been paying attention instead of thinking of his own stuff. "Pirates are cool!" he said.

Clifford "Cliff" Jonathan de Vil son of cruella de vil and jean-pierre la pelt
"Only if you're not planning on being home tonight." If he went to Ian's later, it meant that he could eat and not take any food from his siblings. It was better going to Chester or one of his sisters. That is, if Collie didn't finish the whole thing. He could wait a couple hours to eat, especially since Ian always seemed to have something saved for him. If he was with anyone one but family, he would've admitted being worried about the pirate. Since Collie was this stressed, he had no idea how Ian was reacting. Probably badly. The older man didn't trust anyone, let alone strangers from another country who kept them in poverty their entire lives. Cliff kind of wanted to check and make sure that Ian wasn't planning a massacre.
He couldn't trust Ian farther than he could throw him, which was not that far. Cliff was a lanky noodle and Ian was the opposite. Still, there was no way he could tell Collie about his worries. She was already stressed enough from just dealing with the Mafia nonsense. If she had to deal with extra Crew nonsense, she would blow up. Cliff could handle the Crew. He hadn't had any extra motives when forming a relationship with Ian, they were both attractive, single men who wanted to have some fun, but now Cliff had an in with the Crew. It didn't hurt to know what those silly pirates were up to.
Cliff's most important goal was to protect his family. Even if that meant protecting them from Ian. Except, apparently, when he was grumpy and Collie decided to insult him. Cliff still wasn't sure where that came from, especially now that he was actively worried about Ian's temperament. It could be said that he needed to worry about Collie's temperament as well, but Cliff thought his sister was smart enough not to start a war with Auradon. Ian, on the other hand, wanted to fight. The Pirate Captain had made that very clear. Not on purpose, of course, but Cliff overheard things.

Hertz Emery Doofenshmirtz Son of Doofenshmirtz and Maleficent
There really wasn't much in the way of food, but TZ understood that. His home had some of the best options for food, and it still got old after a while. He was a very common visitor to Montana's place though. The Slim boy knew how to run a restaurant. That was for sure. And if it was the kind of day when both him and his father were spending a lot of time on their work, TZ would usually run out there to pick up some dinner for them. Those were usually his favorite nights because both him and Doofenshmirtz had plenty to talk about.
He stayed quiet as he let his sister think. TZ was smart, but he was kinda... wanting to not think after all of the thinking he'd been doing in his lab.
If you could call his bedroom a lab.
Which he did. Every bare surface was covered in little projects or blueprints of his. His bed was just a tiny little mattress shoved in the corner because sleep wasn't as important to him as his work. Plus, he was good at sleeping. There were times that his dad would come in and wake him to have him move to bed because he had fallen asleep in his desk chair.
At his sister's idea, TZ's eyes widened. He wasn't a very fast runner at all, but the idea still sounded fun. He could burn some energy and actually be outside. He liked outside, as odd as it seemed for someone that spent so much time inside.
"A nemesis is a special friend though. Like. A girlfriend or boyfriend is a friend but in a special way. A nemesis is a friend in a special way that's different than the way a boyfriend or girlfriend is special," he said. The explanation kinda confused him, but that was fine. Sometimes confusing someone was the best way to win an argument. People that got confused tended to drop the subject, so that was his go to if he knew he was losing. Hertz Doofenshmirtz didn't like to lose. He didn't have many friends, but he tried to hang out with Chester whenever he could so that it wasn't just him on his own all the time. He loved Chester, but was Chester nemesis material?
"But who cares! I'll beat you!" he yelled out the challenge and took off towards Southwark without waiting for a response. Yeah, that could be considered cheating, but who cared about cheating on a place where many people committed worse crimes by the time they were teenagers?

LEKAN NIETI OYEKAN son of lioness and nuka
Lekan had to laugh. I'll tell Jace! As if Jace held more than a faction of power over them. If it wasn't for the weird and constant fighting between the wolf and her panther friends, Lekan already would've tried to overpower them. At this point, it was easier to sit back and watch them tire themselves out. It's not like Jace's rulings even stopped them from doing much.
He leaned in, coming down more towards Shiloh's height. "Do you think you can run to Jace before we can break you?" His smile was brilliant, and wide. A little crazy, if anything. His goal was to freak the kid out. Humans weren't top predator, on the Isle. Only one of them had a weapon strong enough to stop them, and one day she would run out of bullets.
The lion pulled back when he saw Shaka's actions. It kind of ruined his flow. As much as he didn't care about Shiloh's garden, that was still food. This is why Shamakani was in charge. Well, he assumed that she wouldn't have just thrown food away. At least eat the damn thing, don't just toss it.
Lekan snorted, because he should've known better than to expect more from Shaka. Shamakani's little shove made him smirk again, and he rolled his shoulders to get back to his predatory gains. "Have any of you even seen little one's mom and dad today?" It wasn't a real question, he just wanted to scare the kid further.

Fausto Alain Facilier Son of Dr. Facilier and Mademoiselle Charlotte
"Right." So the little guy with the big name was kind of weird, and a little too eager to throw hands with a stranger he knew nothing about, but he seemed well-meaning enough, he guessed. Fausto hoped that he didn't keep testing the resolve of the Isle-natives' goal to not fight them, considering not all of them were as...laid back as he was. The loa prided himself on the fact that it took a lot to make his temper flare, to the point where he was staring down the enemy and he just kept a casual smile on his face. "The pirates are pretty cool to hang with, they're all sort of laid back. Ian's the captain, and don't get intimidated by him. He's a little intense, but he means well, and he's fair." While the witch doctor's son beckoned the transfers to keep following him, he figured he could give them a rundown of the crew, so they weren't caught off guard. While that would be hilarious in other situations, this wasn't the time for jokes.
Fausto was heading towards the docks again, but further down than where the transfers were docked currently. "Then under him are his two Quartermasters -- Sofia and Mair. They handle stuff when he's not around, and don't let their antics fool you, they're both very smart and capable." Fausto didn't trust Mair at all, not truly, and he was pretty sure the only reason he didn't wreck unrestrained havoc on the Isle was because Ian mostly kept him in check. "I dunno if we'll run into them today or not, though. Mair's sort of nosy, so he might show up, but he might also be off doing gods know what." He didn't even want to know. He doubted the gods did, either. "Then sort of adjacent, but in a different sort of job, is Farris. He's the sailing master, so he sort of keeps track of everything in the crew. If he asks who your parents are, don't be alarmed and just tell him." The loa gave a laugh and an amused sort of shrug. "It's just a Farris thing, really, he likes keeping track of all that."
He continued leading them through Tortuga and across the docks. It was a rather short walk, and soon, they were at the base of a ship that was...liveable, but not the same sort of quality that their new guests had come in on.

Kentucky Roan Slim Son of Alameda Slim and Katherine Barlow
Kenny
Kenny looked between his girlfriend and sister, his face scrunched up slightly as he considered the situation. "I'm... worried," he admitted, not that that was a huge secret to anyone. He doubted there was anyone on the Isle that wasn't worried to some degree.
"I mean... anyone here could just... snap and I wouldn't blame them. I mean we've all been prisoners here for our entire life and the fact that they're just waltzing in like they own the place. All it takes is one person losing their cool for a minute and making a wrong move, and suddenly we're all dead. I mean, I can think of many people off the top of my head that I'm not sure I trust around the transfers. Like, if the transfers aren't here to hurt us, I feel like one of our own might."
He couldn't think of many people that he actually trusted not to do anything dumb. His siblings and Aria, of course. Fern. That was... pretty much it. He liked to think he was a fairly trusting person, but he wouldn't blame anyone for snapping in a situation like this, especially some of the more powerful kids on the Isle. He just didn't want to be around to experience the consequences of that.

Bellamy Acadia Blanche Bete
daughter of belle and zuzo None of her group had thus far outwardly rejected the suggested plan. She felt a little bad saying that the lack of verbal arguments was surprising to her, but she was grateful about the fact. Which meant that this Ian person was indeed the first leader on the Isle they’d meet. He started to move and Billy took it as a signal to follow and listen. She understood that blindly trusting him would be a terrible idea, however she understood that if she ignored all information anyone offered her, she’d get nowhere. This was information that was helpful in order to understand how the Isle worked in the first place. The idea that several groups had formed in the first place and none of them actually ruled over one another was honestly a foreign concept. In Auradon, though there were several kingdoms with different cultures and different ways of running things, by law they bowed their head to Beast as king. On the Isle, there was no such overruling king. There was no such overruling role, just separate groups that lived in what BIlly assumed was peace. Relative peace? She actually couldn’t say in that situation, but Fausto hadn’t spoke of anything like that. Still, she listened to what he was explaining about the pirate group on the Isle. 4 people that seemed to make up the higher-placed system of the pirate crew. As of the current day, the only guaranteed person she’d meet was going to be Ian. Fausto didn’t seem to believe there should be much to fear about him. The idea of intimidation from Isle kids was something she felt like she should expect on some level, no matter how they show it. Perhaps it was a generalization, but even if they were friendly, the knowledge on who they were raised by would be something that causes a scare in itself. She would be interested in meeting Sofia and Mair at a later date if neither of them were present when they met with Ian. They sounded interesting based on his small descriptions of them. She was less intrigued to meet this Farris despite the act it would be good to meet with other higher-ups in these groups. She didn’t suppose she could just neatly pass over the question if Farris asked without feeling bad for lying or telling a secret that an Isle kid had no business knowing. She couldn’t say she was surprised when they stopped at likely the place to find Ian, but she was impressed on just how short the walk actually was. Still, the boat was in… not the best shape from what she was used to. She supposed she should get used to that while she was staying on the island. But the bigger question was how exactly they got the attention of the captain. She didn’t think just… stepping on board was smart or respectful. “How can we get his attention to talk to him now?”

Tait Uli Hightopp
child of the mad hatter and ursula Yes. Tait agreed with the words being said by the people around him. They can handle this stuff, keep adults away, give them a home. If they wanted a home. This seemed to be a good hunt of who could get the transfers around first. Tait wasn’t entirely sure what the benefit was of that yet. Keeping them around in order to figure stuff out or make sure the adults didn’t accidentally screw everyone on the Isle up by killing people they shouldn’t have. Though, it was always possible that they could kill the Isle kids with no consequence? Tait didn’t think there had been any kids sent to the Isle that had actually died yet. Both of them were sent over for crimes against the king for whatever reason, but neither died and so they didn’t really know if Beast would care about that. If all these kids did some large collective crime and were sent over… maybe Mori would be able to burn any of the annoying ones? That was, of course, all theoretical. There was an option that these were kids that were genuinely not to be harmed, which hasn’t happened before, but oh well. Still, offering the clubhouse was definitely an option. Actually, if they really wanted to listen to stuff… having them in a place that the four of them knew like the back of their hand would be really good. They could potentially spy on them and listen into conversations and figure stuff out. It was a wonderful idea, even if the intentions due to the suggestion were probably on a different level than what Tait was now thinking. Eh, oh well. They gave their thumbs up for it.

Edelweiss "Del" Hilda Grimhilde daughter of the Evil Queen and the Huntsman
"So we just need to worry about playing nice and babysitting the royal brats?" That seemed like a nightmare of a task, and one that she wasn't super enthusiastic about. But if Fern wanted her to make nice, then she supposed she needed to. This was about to be a difficult time for the coven -- and the Isle as a whole -- and Fern needed all the support and solidarity she could get. Personal feelings aside, the mission to figure out what they were up to, and getting the trust and help of the kids from Auradon, was more important than enacting a grudge. "Would it help to get Ebby and Ernie in on this, too? And Hardy?" They were three people that Del knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that could put aside their personal feelings to make a bunch of strangers feel welcome. Her brothers were sweet-tempered and gentle, for the most part, and she assumed it would be helpful to have as many trustworthy hands on deck as possible.
Not that Del didn't trust or care about the rest of the coven.
It was just that this was a crisis situation, and they needed to act with the utmost efficiency and lack of doubt that they could. Del had no doubt that her brothers would go out of the way to make the transfers feel at home. Even more out of their way than she would, probably. Del could act friendly and sweet and helpful, but if she was being honest, it'd probably be more genuine coming from the boys,
"As for the lessons, maybe we could see if there might be an outside place to study? Or maybe cycle those around houses too?" Del wasn't trying to undermine their leader, just offer other solutions. Hostilities between the coven kids and the transfers might be lessened if the routine wasn't changed too much, and there might be a lot of kids that would get upset about cancelled magic lessons for the sake of their sworn enemies. "I feel like it might ease tension a little bit -- I'd worry about the coven getting antsy or upset if too much was changed in favor of the pests, you know?"

Fausto Alain Facilier Son of Dr. Facilier and Mademoiselle Charlotte
Fausto cleared his throat, still smiling. "Let me help with that." Stepping a little closer to the boat, Fausto put his hands up, cupping them around his mouth.
"IAN! ARE YOU HOME RIGHT NOW?"
With that being said, Fausto put his hands down, crossing them across his chest and tapping his foot. "If he isn't home, there are a couple other places we can look in Tortuga. I doubt he'd be in Buchannan or the Outlands, and if he's in Southwark, well I'm not bothering him and we can just skip to the others for now." Fausto wasn't going to elaborate beyond that, even if asked. Ian's personal life, and his business with Cliff, was his business, not the transfers'. "But he should be here, if I'm right."
Still grinning like a loon, Fausto looked expectantly up towards the ship for signs of the captain.

Mair Sanjaya Baron Son of Matthews and Stalyan
Mair had been sitting back and watching for most of this. Observing. Sizing up the transfers and seeing what direction things went in. So far, he was a little surprised, but not to the point where he was scrambling and trying to keep up with all this new information. The son of the "King" was here, but he wasn't the one in charge, which was a leadership decision that the Quartermaster wasn't particularly expecting. They all seemed rather forthright about their identities, which served as a small indicator that they were either very trusting and naive, or confident that they couldn't have any fall out from that. But the one boy -- Akram, was it? -- hadn't offered up his own heritage, which was unusual if even the son of the "King" was so bold about that. What did this guy have to fear?
Interesting.
At Tana's urging, though, he cut his analysis short, packing that information away to share with Sofia and Ian later, and compare thoughts with Farris as well, and give Isabeau a heads up. For now, he needed to give some direction to this little expedition, and his grin widened.
"What Tana was saying, though," He tried being somewhat professional, making the assumption that "pookiebear" would only hinder this conversation as a whole. Tana would know that the wizard-pirate would give her hell for it later, but for right now, he needed to be professional and accomplish the mission Ian gave them. Fun could be had later. "We have a vacant house, and it wouldn't do any good for the lot of you stay without shelter, right? So if you don't mind it being a little...run down, it should fit you all?" Casting an observant eye over the group, Mair cocked his head to the side. "Is this all of you? Or are there more somewhere? So we know if the house has enough room?"
Mair knew exactly how many transfers there were. But this would be a good way to confirm the numbers, and perhaps one of them would slip and let him know where the others were. He knew they were around here somewhere, and it wouldn't do to have whole groups of untallied visitors on the Isle, poking into all sorts of nasty things. He needed to keep tabs on that.

Colette "Collie" Jessamine de Vil daughter of Cruella de Vil and Jean-Pierre la Pelt
Collie frowned, studying the wall for a minute. Was it...different than normal? Had one of the kids done something to it? She couldn't place the difference, but something seemed off.
Not important right now.
Instead, she answered Cliff's question. "Rain check on that. What I do depends on what Red brings back, but I do also want to talk to Fern about all of this." She wanted to hear the witch doctor's thoughts on this whole situation. Was she feeling particularly social today? Not at all. If she could hide in the house, that would be preferable. But clearly that wouldn't do right now. There was a crisis on the Isle right now, one that could hurt Southwark, so she needed to do her job. It also meant another important thing.
"Eat the damn beans, Clifford. You're just as starving as I am."

ARIA ISMINI OLYMPIA daughter of persephone and hades
"I'm not crazy enough to tell Collie any theories." The woman would have enough on her plate as is. Aria wasn't about to make that worse by putting terrifying ideas in her mind. Homie's thought process was a prime example on why neither Montana or Collie would find about any thought she had on why the transfers had come over. She shuddered at the thought of her boss killing these poor kids just because Beast sent them here. It wasn't their fault that they came over, as far as any Isle kid knew. It wouldn't be fair to assume the worst. "Don't say things like that, Homie."
If Collie thought she was just being given more mouths to feed, more responsibility, she would probably lose her mind. Besides which, why couldn't Beast deal with their stupid population himself? At least they had enough food on Auradon. The Slims were the only people who had figured out how to grow on the Isle. Though, Aria was certain that her mom could do the same if she wanted to.
Unfortunately, the Spring Goddess did not seem interested in growing any food, and it didn't help that she was forced to leave every six months. There wasn't much time for her to garden anyways, so it's not like Aria blamed her at all.
"This isn't a situation to take advantage of," Aria snapped, glaring slightly. "These are people, Homie. If we can help them, we should." It wasn't the transfers fault that Beast had left them on the Isle to rot. They were just kids, like the rest of them. They were suspicious and out to hurt them, sure, then they could go off. For now, at least, they needed to be given the benefit of the doubt. No one said that you had to trust someone to help them.
At Kenny's words, Aria ran a hand through her hair, "If we have to stop one of us, we will." She didn't doubt that they could, either. Collie might murder anyone who stepped out of line, Ian would never let it happen and Fern would just make people share a shirt. Fern was weird. At least Jace would stay out of everything. Who knows if the Ferals even knew that this was happening. They were so out of society that Aria wouldn't be surprised if they had no idea.

Adrian "Ian" Salazar son of captain armando salazar
From his place on the deck, he could hear Fausto easily, but he also had to debate with himself if he wanted to interact. On one hand, it could be important. Fausto generally didn't do fairly stupid things like his Quartermasters. Still, he trusted them far more than he trusted Fausto. On the other hand, he had too much on his plate right now to deal with any of Fausto's nonsense. From the sound of the yelling, it did kind of seem like nonsense. He kind of wanted to ask Sofia to scope it out for him, but he wasn't exactly sure where she was on the ship and he couldn't call for her without giving away his location.
So, Ian peered over the side of the boat to see what was happening. Oh. Fausto brought friends. With a longer look, he noticed how these friends were not from around here. Ian wasn't exactly surprised that Fausto had shoved his nose into the Transfer business already. For a kid who didn't have any defined allegiance, he knew how to find out everything. Ian went out farther, casually leaning over the railing. "Permission to come abroad." He yelled down, nodding at the wooden gangway. It was broken in some places, so he would be shocked if the meager Auradon kids would even dare to come up it. They seemed like weak people, growing up in fancy castles.
The Captain was quite pleased that he had been raised on a ship, and could easily bring these new strangers into his territory. It had been ages since anyone had tried to attack them in their own terf, so this was the perfect way for him to feel safe enough for the majority of the crew to meet some of the princes of princesses of Auradon. "Sofia!" He yelled, bringing in his last Quartermaster. He had wanted the others to go so that they would be safe, but Sofia was here so that they didn't lose everyone at once. This would remain peaceful, though. If any of the other Crew members wanted to huddle around, they could. Ian wouldn't stop them, but he doubted they would make an appearance. Still, he was currently outnumbered and he didn't like that.

Moriena “Mori” Blackbeard daughter of morgana and captain blackbeard
Fern was really trying to make Mori feel loved and listened to and respected, wasn't she? Even if she missed her dad, she was grateful for the opportunities she had in the Coven. Ian tolerated her, sure, but Fern actually cared about her thoughts and opinions. Mori had never gotten used to it. She wasn't sure how Tait or Del had. She was still just a teenager who wanted attention.
It didn't help that hearing Mori is right just filled her with absolute pride.
Obviously her place was off limits, due to her mother. Blackbeard's smithy was too far and too dangerous with all the tools scattered around. There wasn't many people in the town they could trust, either. Except, maybe? "Can we ask Willa? Terragon Tomorrow has everything we would need for potion lessons. Or lessons on spell ingredients." It wasn't as cleared out as the clubhouse was, but it could fit a decent amount of people and they could shove some extra things to the sides to create more space.
Del was right, too, although Mori wasn't about to say those words out loud while still so mad at her friend. The rest of the Coven would get anxious. Besides, if they had so many transfers, surely one of them would have some sort of magical ability. Maybe they would want to sit in on one of these extra classes and see how Isle kids had to practice magic. It would be a pretty good bonding experience for everyone involved.
Mori didn't like the idea that the Transfers was their current top priority, though, and looked at Del to see if her friend agreed. It was gross to even have that said out loud. Their top priority should always be each other. The Coven was the most important thing. Not stupid kids who didn't know what they were doing here. They didn't belong, and until they did, Mori was going to look out for her people above anyone else.

Oklahoma "Homie" Tulsa Slim Daughter of Alameda Slim and Kate Barlow
"All I'm saying, is that we need to be careful with any wording with her -- God only knows what she's going to take from it." The middle Slimlet shrugged lightly, not seeing the problem with her words. It was a genuine concern, really, and they needed to avoid it. And avoiding it meant speaking about it and planning it out, even if it was unpleasant. It would be more unpleasant, a slew of dead kids on the Isle, if the wrong person thought the wrong thing and let their trigger finger do the talking because they jumped to conclusions and didn't see sense, which happened a little more lately.
Hypothetically speaking, of course.
"...and I don't mean use them use them, Ari. I just want to know what they're up to, and what we're up against, and we can use this dinner to figure out what they might be planning." At Kenny's words, she nodded. "I agree. You know there's bound to be bad blood or family feuds somewhere in this God-forsaken mess."

Sofia Fritzie Sanchez Daughter of Sanza and Felicia
Shimmy was gonna meet pirates! Well, he'd met pirates before, but Auradon was full of goody two shoes everywhere he looked. Even the pirates he'd met couldn't keep up with the Sugar Sins. But these Isle pirates had to be the real deal, didn't they? He eagerly followed along behind Fausto.
Sofia had spotted the transfers from where she was currently perched, trying to get Chase out of his hiding place. Her little brother had ended up angering someone he shouldn't have and now he was in hiding. He wouldn't tell her who he had angered, but it was someone that he was legitimately afraid of. "And I'll deal with you later," she whispered to the cat boy, climbing to her feet when she heard Ian's call.
The Quartermaster made her way slowly to her boss, standing at his side and crossing her arms as she watched the arrival of the Auradon kids. "This is gonna be... interesting." She kept her voice low enough for only Ian to hear.
Sofia liked to think she had better morals than a lot of Isle kids and she would be more than willing to help out the transfers, or at least guide them in the right direction. If it came down to it, she would put the Crew first. She would always choose her people over strangers. But she refused to jump to any conclusions. Sofia loved the Crew. Sure it was her desire to learn more about her magical heritage that drew her to Ebby and learning about the Coven, but this was her home and these were her people.
"Fausto." The cat girl greeted the person she knew first, before turning her gaze to the group he was with. They looked like an interesting bunch, and she was just glad to see that it wasn't a bunch of young princes and princesses just waltzing in to seize control of the gangs. She knew that wouldn't fly with any of the leaders.
Maybe these kids did have a little more brain than she originally expected.

Fausto Alain Facilier Son of Dr. Facilier and Mademoiselle Charlotte
Immediately starting to stroll up the rotten gangplank with no fear, the Loa gestured for his guests to follow him up. "C'mon, y'all, its safe!" He had no idea if any of the transfers needed to hear that, but leaving them defenseless and alone in Tortuga because they were scared of a wobbly ramp was just insane.
On the boat, Fausto waved at the Captain and the Quartermaster. "Ian, Sofia, y'all are looking fine today." Ian looked mildly stressed, and Sofia didn't look incredibly happy either, but it was rude to come into someone's house and tell them they looked like they'd lost a fight. "These here are some of our new friends, told 'em I'd show 'em around the neighborhood. Ian, Sofia, this is Billy, Kassi, Raf, and...uh..." Well, he'd forgotten the candy kid's name. Whoops. "...Sylvester?" It had been a long S name, he wasn't sure what, and he shrugged when he looked back at the short guy, and then back over to the two crew members. "They're from Auradon, obviously, and they want to meet everyone who's in charge here -- they asked for Scar first." Hopefully, Ian and Sofia found that as hilarious as he did.
Scar, in charge of them.
Hilarious.
You couldn't even say his kids were ever in any sort of powerful position, with Shamakani reportedly getting her ass kicked handily every time she went for it. The daughter of Scar was a schemer, but a terrible fighter.

[adopted] daughter of the of Stabbington brothers
Not for the first time as she journeyed to the docks, Red questioned whether or not she was really the best person for this job. Dark hair slicked back in an uncomfortably high ponytail, adorned in something that obviously came straight from Catie’s closet, she almost looked the part of welcoming committee – except for the slight flush to her cheekbones, the frazzled look in her eye, and the tension that echoed in everything from the furrow of her brow to the tightness of her squared shoulder blades. With her blade tucked away in the space between her pant leg and combat boot, far beyond her reach, she felt naked. Vulnerable. People didn’t usually bother her much, but just knowing who these kids were and where they came from set her on edge. Maybe it was the years of hatred instilled in her heart, or maybe it was the simple fact that she wasn’t exactly the type of person comfortable with going into things virtually blind without any anticipation of the outcome. This whole situation…she didn’t trust it, plain and simple. If Collie wanted to take this approach, Red would respect it – she knew that it had to be their best option, or else their leader wouldn’t be suggesting it. Duh. But there was still an uneasiness about the whole situation that made the oldest Stabbington girl’s stomach clench in fear of the unknown and worry for the fate of the only home she’d ever known.
When she came upon the small group gathered at the docks, Red paused for a moment to take them in. She hadn’t really expected them to look so…normal? Healthier-looking and cleaner than most of the company she kept, sure, but still just a bunch of kids. It was kind of like looking into a warped mirror and seeing what life would be like on the other side, where food was abundant and the little hand soaps smelled like lilacs and the clothes were never second hand. What a strange concept…There wasn’t a lot of time to dwell on the thought, because she knew that standing around observing the strangers wasn’t going to make her any friends. Red approached slowly and cautiously, ensuring that there was ample time for the group to take notice of her entrance. Spooking them wasn’t going to work in her favor either, and might even make the invitation she was about to extend seem suspicious. Fighting against the urge she had to keep her distance, Red got as close to the little group as comfort would allow, a hesitant but friendly smile slowly forming. Manners, Red, manners. “Hi, I’m Red.” She extended the introduction easily, to no one in particular, her gaze flickering between each of the four strangers in turn. “On behalf of Dragon Hall, I’d like to invite you all to dinner party tonight.” She spoke politely, holding out the invitation to the woman she assumed to be their leader, simply from the way she carried herself and the structure of the conversation they’d been having before her arrival. Red figured a verbal invitation wouldn’t suffice – the last thing they needed was these kids wandering confusedly around the Isle in the evening hours, even with all of the security that would be patrolling tonight. It was best to include really specific directions, just to be on the safe side. “We’re having sort of a ‘welcome to the Isle’ get together, and we’d love if you could make it. It’s a totally casual event; some food, some music, a chance to get to know each other. Feel free to bring your friends.”
With the invitation extended, Red felt like it was time to make her exit – she didn’t want to pressure them into accepting the invitation or risk unsettling them given the bad blood between Auradon and The Isle. Even as friendly as she was being now, Red didn’t exactly trust her hostility to keep from shining through the cracks with every moment that she spent out here. And even if she did maintain this composure, what was to say that she was the only one with preconceived notions and mistrust? It was probably best for everyone if she left and gave the newcomers time to process and deliberate over the idea of attending the dinner party. “Everything you need to know is in there.” She assured them, nodding towards the small white envelope. “I hope to see some of you there.” With another small smile and a departing wave, Red turned around and began to make her way back towards Southwark, letting out a soft sigh of relief that did little to ease the knots in her stomach.

Clifford "Cliff" Jonathan de Vil son of cruella de vil and jean-pierre la pelt
"I don't have to take food if I'm going to Ian's." Cliff glared, since they both knew why he wasn't taking food. Plus, he wasn't nearly as starving as Collie. She was the one who never ate. He had Ian to take care of him. Collie, well she only had him now. He was the one who was supposed to look out for her, now that she was alone. Unfortunately, as long as he was here, Collie would feel responsible for him. She was the older twin, the one who was supposed to protect them, everything was put on her. He didn't want that, though. He wanted her to rest and eat. She needed to sleep and eat.
So, Cliff grinned, letting the cheekiness pour into his facial expression. If he was going to do this, he was going to do it right: not leave any room for questions. "In fact, since you're insistent that you're going to stay awake until Red reports in, I might as well just go to Ian's now." He shrugged, leaning back on the counter, "The more time I have there the better, really. It's not like you're doing anything important besides waiting. The triplets can keep you company." He felt bad throwing Cheri under the bus and into the line of fire again, but it was necessary to make Collie eat enough. She never ate enough, so he would do what he had to. Plus, going to Ian meant he got more food than she was eating.
The young man set the plate of food in front of his sister and spun his way to the door. "Eat up! Have fun waiting! Tell Red I said hello! Sleep afterwards! Maybe have a dog pile moment with the pups!" Cliff wasn't giving Collie a choice in the matter. It was time for him to leave. He could only hope that she continued to eat after he was gone. Cliff sighed and quickly exited the house. Once outside, he cracked his neck and closed his eyes. He couldn't actually go Ian's, no matter how much he wanted to. The pirate was probably just busy with the transfers as Collie was. Cliff didn't want to bother him.

Fern Alana Facilier Daughter of Facilier and Ayizan
"Playing nice is exactly what we need to do, Del." Fern was always happy to play nice with others, but even she was a bit on edge at the idea of these transfers infesting their home. Still, she was going to do this with an open mind and just make sure that her people were protected if it came down to it. At Del's next question, Fern nodded. "Why don't you grab your brothers? Ebby can work with you, Ernie with Tait, and Hardy with Mori. I don't know what to expect from these kids so it couldn't hurt for each of you to have an assistant on hand."
After the input from her higher ups, she'd likely have to go home and figure out a plan on her own. She would take their input, of course, but she needed to think it all through.
"I like that idea. I'll talk to Willa tomorrow about at least having potions classes there. However, I don't want to intrude too much on her business, so I'll figure out something for the rest of the lessons."
She looked over the three. "But the most important thing to remember is that the coven will emerge from this situation in one piece and stronger than ever. We don't know what the transfers have up their sleeves, but we're a family." She gave them a smile. "And don't think that this whole situation will mean you're seeing less of me. I'm probably gonna wanna meet with you guys a lot more often to keep updated and strategize, but I'll give you more warning than this spontaneous meeting."

Shaka Zane Oyekan Son of Scar and Zira
Shaka grinned. He could see the little human starting to break and that's what they wanted. All it would take is a little bit of breaking for this kid to finally realize where he belonged.
Which was anywhere but here.
Humans ruled everywhere and this was one of the few places where animals were the top predators and he couldn't believe that Jace was being such a traitor by letting this little monster in.
He laughed as the kid stumbled backwards and to the ground from Shamakani.
Unfortunately, the human used the shove as a chance to slip out of the group and run off to who knows where.
"Run off to mommy and daddy, kid. They won't always be there to protect you," he snorted, knowing the retreating human would do his best to hide from the lions for a bit.
