Shiloh Benton Jack Son of ShiverJack & Beatrice Le Beak
The Isle soil was hard to grow in, but that was okay. Fern had given him tips back when he lived with the people and Shiloh could handle the soil here pretty well. At least, he liked to think so. And he hoped that Jace and Nanji thought so too. He really appreciated all that both of them had done for him since he had abandoned life with people and moved in with the animals to embrace his wild side.
"Awww. Looks like you guys didn't make it through the night. That's okay. Your brothers and sisters will still go strong and they'll never forget you. And neither will I," Shiloh said. He really and truly appreciated each and every plant he had. The carrots lived in the top left corner. The tomatoes were in the top right. The other tomatoes (that he didn't like quite as much) were in the bottom left and the cucumbers were in the bottom right. He frowned slightly as he kneeled on the ground and sank his fingers in the dirt. He had a smudge of dirt on his cheek already, but he hadn't made a move to wipe it off. He lived in the wild now. He didn't have to be clean. He pulled out the dead plant to make room for the ones that were thriving. At least, thriving as much as they could here. He set the dead plant aside and continued to tend to his little plot of land, humming a little tune as he did so. Work was always better if there was a little music to go along with it. Or friends, but Shiloh didn't have many friends out here.
It kinda made him sad. There was Jace and Nanji, but they were busy people doing important things and Shiloh didn't wanna bother them too much. His plants were important to him, but he worried that they weren't important to Jace and Nanji. That was fine. His plants didn't have to be important to anyone besides him, but he didn't wanna pull them away from stuff that was important to them just so he had some company while he was doing what was important to him.
It wasn't just the lack of friends that was bothering Shiloh, but also the fact that some of the people out here didn't like him. That was fine. He knew not everyone would like him, but it was still a lonely life when his only friends were Jace and Nanji. He could go back home, he realized. Even if his parents didn't want him back because he'd run away, he was sure he could find someone to live with.
Hopefully.
Lots of people were tight on things like shelter and food and Shiloh wouldn't wanna add additional struggles to people that already didn't have enough.
But he was gonna stay out here because he was tough and strong and wild...
The thought made him puff out his chest with Pride a little bit.
...and he certainly wasn't a little baby that had cried on his first couple nights out here.
He deflated a bit at the memory of the struggles to make the transition from living in one of the Isle's bustling cities to being out here.
But he could do it.
It was hard and he was weaker than those that belonged here.
But he'd fit in one day. He had to.

Shamakani Zubayda Oyekan daughter of Zira and Scar
A vicious smirk spread across the lioness's face, pleased by the quick agreement from the boys. She knew she could count on her own little pride to follow her lead, after all. Jace and Nanji might have the respect of several animals that dwelled in the Outlands, but they didn't have the loyalty that her pride had. "Let's show him what's up, boys."
While Lekan peeled off to the side to box the child in, Shamakani started working from the opposite direction, the smirk being replaced by a stormy scowl, one that she hoped would terrify the intruder. She did find herself rather intimidating. She was lean and scrawny, and maybe couldn't win in a match of brute strength against the "leaders" of the ferals, but she fancied herself as intelligent and cunning, as well as ruthless. If she had to defend their home against the ravages of mankind and civilization, she would.
"You know, I'm stunned that you survived the night, buzzard food." Sneered from behind the boy, Shiloh could probably turn in any direction and find either a lion or a cat boy. None of them were at all friendly

Colette "Collie" Jessamine de Vil daughter of Cruella de Vil and Jean-Pierre la Pelt
Now that she knew her brother had just misunderstood what she'd meant by that statement, Collie calmed down a little. He hadn't been trying to mock her or make her feel upset, it was just her brother getting lost in dreamland and following an interesting train of thought. That's all it was. The blonde relaxed, thinking about his own perspective on the issue. "I do wonder if they could talk, you know. In Auradon." She specified where the cats might be talking, this time, trying to direct this strange trail of thought. It was possible, after all. They literally went to school and saw talking animals on a daily basis.
Hell, all the had to do was shout for one of the kids, really.
Who was to say that their pets couldn't talk too, they had just never quite figured out how. Or...or...the barrier prevented it, since they were locked in an animal form? It wasn't the most bizarre thought in the conversation, that title belonging to the idea that Collie had sat down and tried teaching her pets the English language.
"Anyway," Collie veered back onto the subject, shaking her head briefly to get back on track. "What if I go to sleep and she comes by? What if we miss her, and something drastic happens before we hear the report?" Maybe she was being way too cautious, but this was a very important matter. If she fell asleep and shit went down, there was no taking it back. "What if I eat, and save the nap for later?" She bargained instead, shrugging.
Would she take the nap later?
Eventually...probably. Whether she chose it or not.
It would all be fine.

Fern Alana Facilier Daughter of Facilier and Ayizan
Fern stayed quiet as she took this all in. She had known about the transfers, but still hadn't been sure of what to do. She didn't trust them - couldn't trust them - but she didn't want to be all out aggressive towards them. That wasn't her style. She couldn't imagine being these kids. Ripped from their own cushy and protective lives to be sent to an island of villains. Like Del had brought up, they could be marching right towards a death sentence.
"First off, we need to keep the adults away from them," she said. She had a feeling Collie and Ian were also making arrangements to keep the transfers separated from the adults of Tortuga and Southwark. "Then i also want to make sure that the four of us make contact with any transfers before the rest of the coven." She knew they wouldn't be able to beat the mafia or crew to meeting the transfers, but she certainly wanted her leadership team to be able to assess the situation before letting the... unknown have free rein around her city.
"Del, do you want to take the lead on this one?" she asked. Recently, she'd been letting her second in command take more responsibility and leadership opportunity. She loved what she did, but an incident not too long ago had reminded Fern that she wouldn't always be around for the coven. And as the next in line to lead, she wanted Del to get experience so she could be confident stepping up as a leader instead of terrified because she hadn't been prepared. "I'll be by your side and I'll do introductions, but you can take the lead on actually feeling them out and figuring out what's up?" she asked. She looked at Mori and Tait. They were just as important to this coven as she and Del were. "Mori, you can take the lead on giving them a tour around Buchanan? And Tait can be a little welcoming committee once we determine whether we want to take them in or not?"
Fern was completely capable on doing stuff like that on her own and she enjoyed it, but it was important for Del to get the experience, and Tait and Mori could be trusted with more responsibility as well. It was... hard for Fern to give up the reins to her children, but she wanted them all well prepared for whatever events might happen in the future, whether it was Fern being in a position where she could no longer lead her coven or any one of them ending up with their own group to lead.

Hertz Emery Doofenshmirtz Son of Doofenshmirtz and Maleficent
TZ was busy.
He was a busy, busy, busy boy. He might even add in a fourth busy to just drive home the point of how busy he was. His hands were trembling as he tried to screw in a part on one of his latest inventions but he just... couldn't. His hand was shaking and he couldn't do it.
Growling in frustration, he took his goggles off and tossed them to the floor. They didn't break - which he knew - he would be out of a pair of goggles if he broke them. Unless he could find someone on the Isle that was willing to make him another pair or dig one out from the garbage that was sent over here. The garbage went all bad. That's where he'd found most of his tools - including his trusty hammer.
Which he was
Very
Tempted to use right now to smash what he'd been working on.
But he controlled himself and instead looked towards the window. Despite the Isle not being covered with bright light, the pale boy had still covered it up. How long had it been since he'd actually left the house? A day at least. And how long since he'd slept? At least a day. And ate? He... wasn't sure.
Yeah, he needed to go outside.
He could happily work for days without issue, but sometimes his body just couldn't take it and it started to have issues and TZ got frustrated and that was the only time that he would drag himself outside.
Usually other people had to do that.
Once he'd gotten outside, he blinked in the... whatever you would call their weather conditions today.
Possibilities ran though his mind. He could go see Isabeau today. She was always really fun to hang out with. He could swing by the de Vil residence and see if Chester was there. That was... pretty much the extent of his friends and he wasn't sure if he was feeling Southwark today.
Which left him with one last option.
"Oh, Dallie!" he called out, despite.... being nowhere near where he figured he could find his older sister. Frustration dissipated, TZ adjusted his backpack on his shoulder - he always carried a backpack - and headed off towards the magical land of the Isle. It interested TZ being out there, though he didn't know if he really fit in. His mom was extremely magical but his father... Well, Heinz Doofenshmirtz was pretty good as far as Isle parents went, but he wasn't exactly magical.
It made it hard for him to have his own tragic backstory for the day he finally got a nemesis. He was sure his soulnemesis was on Auradon somewhere - like a soulmate but for nemesises. Nemesi? He wasn't sure. But maybe he could find one on the Isle. Maybe he could bother the residents of the Outlands and Tortuga and Buchanan until one of them snapped and decided to fight him.
He fiddled with some spare wires in his pockets as he walked, his face lighting up when he spotted his sister. "Dallie!" he called, shoving the wires back in his pocket and running to catch up to her. "Dallie! Dallie! Dallie!"

LEKAN NIETI OYEKAN son of lioness and nuka
The lion hadn't stuck around to hear the other's comments. He didn't really care what they had to say either. There was no respect for the other boys, at least, not from him. He wasn't going to put his trust in people that didn't deserve it. Shaka and Mico were both idiots, Shamakani was really the only one with any brains out of the group. Himself included.
Watching Shiloh made Lekan sad, really. The human didn't fit in here. He didn't have a place and he would never have a place, no matter what Jace said. He was alone in a pack full of wild animals. Prey next to a horde of predators. The kid didn't stand a chance, and Jace was just allowing this to happen. Lekan could probably stop it, if he wanted to, but where would be the fun in that?
Plus, the kid was talking to plants. There was no way Lekan could let it go on.
"Of course he survived, he has protectors." The part of the Ferals who allowed the humans to roam, of course. Some of the outsiders who came back and forth, like the De Vil triplets and the dark fae. Not that Lekan would fight either of them. That was just asking for death, honestly. No one could touch a De Vil on the Isle, and he wouldn't dare go up against Dallie's wings. "But they're not here right now."

ARIA ISMINI OLYMPIA daughter of persephone and hades
"Asking him now would be a bad idea," Aria knew how close the triplets were, but they weren't always around when Montana had blow ups like this. She knew how to handle it, as a resident Big Fork waitress. Whenever it got too busy, or Montana got too stressed, he would explode like this and she would have to send his messy tantrums into the kitchen. It didn't happen a lot, usually Montana kept his cool, but this was nothing new for her to have to handle. She just needed to make sure that they left him alone until he was done exploding.
She didn't want to tell his siblings how to handle him, they knew her better than she ever would, but she didn't want to see either of them get yelled at. Montana couldn't control himself until he got a handle on his emotions again, which probably wouldn't happen until he had finished cooking.
Asking anytime soon, but especially right now, would be a disaster. He would just start yelling at Kenny again, and then regret it later. It would totally make Montana cry later. Which, that would be funny, but it meant that Kenny got yelled at and then Kenny might cry, and Aria didn't want that either. It was best to let Montana settle down.
"Definitely wait until everything is set up." Aria gripped the handle of her broom harder, "Once we have everything clean, Montana will go full focus on cooking and I can help him in there too. After that's done, I'm sure he'll be more relaxed so you can talk to him!" This is when she nodded and got to work. Which mean moving her broom at speeds faster than she even thought possible. She didn't like to clean, and usually refused to do it, making other employees clean up after closing, but this was for the sake of the mafia, and the entire Isle. She could get a little dirty if it meant figuring out why these Transfers were here, and what they wanted from the Isle.

Clifford "Cliff" Jonathan de Vil son of cruella de vil and jean-pierre la pelt
At the thought, Cliff shuttered. "I hope not. I mean, possibly, because didn't some of the princesses have talking pets?" He didn't pay much attention to any stories, but he felt like that could be possible. "Plus, the lions could talk." He knew that, from Ian, since most of the lion kids had started off in Tortuga before running away to the Outlands. Not that Cliff blamed any of them. Ian knew how to be scary. "Or do lions have their own cat language?" Chester wasn't a lion, but he was still a big cat, Cliff would know if his brother new another language, wouldn't he? Right?
Collie had completely taken his mind off the whole hearing-stuff-that-possibly-wasn't-there thing. Cliff knew that, objectively, but his worry had dissipated. At least, about Collie hearing things. His worry about talking cats had spiked considerably. It wasn't something he would usually worry about, but now he felt like he had to. It was a fairly important topic. If he wasn't trying to keep Cheri and Collie away from each other, he would ask their little sisters if there was such a thing as dog language as well.
With Collie's compromise on the table, Cliff had to think it through. Objectively, both were good options to make sure Collie got some energy. Food would make her less sleepy, but so would actually resting her body. She couldn't move too much while eating, though. That would let her rest as well. Still, Cliff needed a way to get Collie to do both. He could see the tension and weakness growing, even if Collie acted like it wasn't.
So, Cliff decided to pull an Ian and be manipulative. He leaned forward, head down, and spoke softly, "I get that you don't trust me with important mafia business, Collie, but I didn't think you couldn't trust me enough to wake you up when Red got here." It wasn't the best thing to do, but it was a way to get her to sleep. Plus, it was a solid plan. He wasn't a useless body without a brain. Sure, Collie was smarter, but even if she didn't get up for Red, Cliff had a good memory, and at the very least could write something down. Honestly, Cliff was slightly miffed about Collie acting like she was the only one who could receive a message, but this was Collie who rarely liked to give up control so he wasn't surprised.

Deryn"Dallie" Duinedubh daughter of maleficent and diaval
Dallie was fully focused on her strutting. She had to look cool while walking away from Jamie. It was one of the best ways to win an argument, especially with an idiot like him. It was so obvious to her! Smee and Hook were in a constant battle between who got the most business, and it's not like she even went to Tortuga that often to notice! It took two, maybe three, trips to the stores to see how much the competition meant to each older man. Of course that meant something else was going on. No one cared that much about business!
Part of her wished that the barrier were down, more so than usual. Her mother always told her that rage empowered her more than anything else. At the point she was at now, there was no doubt in her mind. Her father often talked about Maleficent's greatest battles. How her mother flew through the sky like it was no one's business. At the thought, Dallie's wings started to flap, but she didn't get more than a few inches off the ground. It was another thing that the barrier suppressed, although not to the point where her wings didn't work entirely.
It was only her brother's incessant calls that broke through her focus and made her fall quickly to her feet. She tucked her wings against her back neatly as she turned, a little frustrated that she stumbled her fall at such a low height. She didn't let that show, however, giving her brother a big smile. "Hertz!" She was the older sister and would continue to call both her siblings whatever she wanted. Madora was given the same treatment.
"What's up, little Doof?" If her father had heard her nickname, she would've been smacked in the head. She couldn't help it. He was a little dork, and his last name was the perfect set up. She stepped close enough to ruffle his hair and mess it up. She prided herself on being an annoying yet caring big sister.
This was why she took a step back to observe her little brother. He looked fairly the same. Paler than most, nerdy as ever. Something was off, though. She didn't know what, exactly, it could be, but she knew it was something. The possibilities ran through her head, but she didn't want to force him to tell her. If he needed to talk about something, he would let her know.

Hertz Emery Doofenshmirtz Son of Doofenshmirtz and Maleficent
TZ took much more after his father in appearances than his mother. He was tall and lanky, and always seemed to move with the awkwardness of someone that didn't know how to use his long limbs. His hair was messy - often more because he didn't care to keep it neat than any other reason. It was surprising to most to find out that his mother was Maleficent when he looked like some stereotypical high school nerd.
Despite his preferred nickname being TZ, he didn't have any issues with Dallie calling him by his full name. It was family, and sometimes family did stuff like that, but TZ knew for her grateful for family like Dallie. Not everyone on the Isle Gad someone like her. His dad too. He was by far one of the better Isle parents, and he'd made it clear to TZ to let Dallie and Madora know that they were always welcome at his place.
TZ stuck his hands in his pockets and looked over at his sister. "Do you wanna do something? I got frustrated with one of my projects and needed a break," he explained, feeling better now that he was outside and not cooped up in his little lab. It was very rare that he was the one pulling himself away from his projects - especially when he was frustrated with one - so he was proud of himself.
And he didn't have many friends. Maybe that was part of the reason why he was grateful to have Dallie around. Still, he was gonna try to put effort into having a relationship with his sister. They were family, yeah, but relationships of any kind still required effort and TZ kinda... sucked at that. But hey he was working on it and that's what was important, wasn't it? Working on yourself as much as you can?
His mind began to wander for a moment before he snapped back to reality and the topic at hand. He had a bad case of a wandering mind when his body wasn't occupied, but - again - it was something he was trying to work on.
"And do you have a nemesis, Dallie? Cause I was thinking lately about my dad's stories about Perry and I think it would be fun. I mean, I don't wanna hurt someone or make it my goal to like kill them or anything, but someone that I can have a good natured love-hate relationship with." Off topic, but not too off topic, TZ figured.

Deryn"Dallie" Duinedubh daughter of maleficent and diaval
"Well, we're already in Buchannan." Dallie thought about the current happenings of the Isle. From what she had picked up in whispers, there was big drama happening. Usually, she wouldn't care about big things happening on their tiny island, and today was no exception. Still, it was hard to ignore it when people were screaming through the town and arriving via boat. It's not like she cared about the transfer students, she really didn't want to give them the time of day, but it was a bad thing when everyone in the towns were stressed. It meant situations constantly wobbled from fine to disastrous and one wrong move could end up with someone dead. She had seen it herself.
She tilted her head questioningly, but she did her best to combat a creepy bird dead-eyed stare by smiling. Honestly, it was probably even more creepy, but it was the best she could do without practicing, and Dallie wasn't going to waste valuable time on that. "Are you hungry? Do you want to be outside or inside? An active idea or a sedentary one?" She needed to tailor her idea to something that he would like to do, but that also kept him out of harm's way. If he started to get curious about the transfers, who knows what he would do. He had just gone off about getting a nemesis and she didn't need that kind of target on his back from an Auradon kid.
Her expression returned to normal, and Dallie clasped her hands behind her back and she gave her brother a bright grin. "People here wished they were my nemesis!" No one was worthy. She couldn't say that she didn't have enemies, but so far there was no one who irritated her to the point of no return. She didn't like Collie, or really most of the Mafia, but she couldn't just tell TZ that. He went to school with them, they were all important to him. She wasn't about to trash something he adored just because she didn't get along with the people around him. It was his life, and he got to do whatever he wanted. "As of yet, no one has been up to the challenge." Her wings shot out for a quick two flaps before tucking themselves back against her back. "I could destroy whoever I wanted to."
Dramatics were for winners only, and Dallie didn't lose.

Bellamy Acadia Blanche Bete
daughter of belle and zuzo No need to fear the younger people on the Isle. That was a wild suggestion coming from one of those said people. Though, she supposed he wouldn’t have reason to hurt them. Because Fausto had essentially just said that the kids here weren’t stupid enough to attack the Auradon transfers. That wasn’t the best view of character overall, from a technical stance. It showed they were smart, intelligent enough to not do something that could hurt them, but does not hurting someone, because you know it’s in your interests not to, show that they could be redeemed? She supposed there was the benefit that it showed they’d be willing to not attack people. But that was about it. It was a more reasonable, self-benefiting play overall. It wasn’t out of a genuine goodness of their heart to not hurt them, from what Billy could gather. Still, in some ways, she supposed having some amount of the Isle not against them was better than the entire Isle. She wasn’t quite willing to say the villain kids were with the transfers, but if they were willing to keep a peace for the now, they weren’t entirely against the transfers. It was difficult not to look at Shimmy with a slight glare as she thought, and as long as we don’t do anything to provoke them to turn against us.She didn’t want to have any issues with the other transfers she was supposed to be leading here. But this was already off to a bad start. She wasn’t close with anyone but her younger brother here. The people she talked to included two second-in-commands that she believed either didn’t like her or were slightly afraid of her. There were two adults in the group that were technically under her command- her, a not-quite-18-but-getting-there girl who was only in the position because of the king of auradon. She wasn’t really close with the two other people she’s actually interacted with otherwise, other than an inward irritation at one for not helping with more information and the other for an outward anger at the other for getting angry for no needed reason! This was far, far, far leaning on a negative to her and it was- it was only the first day. This- that could be resolved later, when they didn’t have peering eyes watching. Maybe she could try to make some kind of amends with Shimmy, some kind of better understanding. But that was just another thing that had to wait for now. There was different business to focus on. The Outland kids. Billy wasn’t really prepared for the information given to them. It was startling and not what she expected out of that. How did- How did people function out here with no clothes? The thing was, Fausto obviously was not a fan of the people there, so it wasn’t even that Billy was just talking out of an Auradon-based perspective. It seemed to be agreed upon everywhere but the outlands then and that was a weird thought. Did they still attempt to bring them to Auradon- what would that really do to help them since nudity was a frowned upon thing under the eyes of Beast. Oh. Oh god. Scar lived in the Outlands too and though it didn’t sound as though he lead the majority of the people who lived out there as well, did that mean he too preferred to go without clothes? That was an image Billy didn’t want around at all. Maybe he didn’t though, given the fact other villains seemed to respect him. It sounded difficult to respect someone who wore no clothes when everyone else did. Billy hoped the other villains wore clothes too. Four areas of the Isle though. Thematically, she was beginning to consider. Given, what she assumed was the fourth area despite lacking a mentioned school, the Outlands seemed to be all out animals. From the idea that the Outlands was a former lion-area pre-Auradon to the fact that the people there chose to forsake clothing in preference to some birthday suits, it seemed well suited to assume that. Tortuga, the place they were currently in, seemed to be led by a captain of a crew of pirates. Given Tortuga was named after a place formerly known for piracy to its extremes, it made a fair amount of sense. She supposed one could connect Serpent Prep to either based off of the connection to reptiles- serpents, or snakes, and tortuga, a turtle. That was two out of four with a theme, and Billy was willing to bet it continued. Buchannan, if Billy was intelligent enough to guess, was magic based. It may also be very likely she was assuming this based off of the Witch School that was placed there. And then Southwark, based off of a district in London. Now, Billy wasn’t actually sure what sort of groups were associated with London of all places, and Dragon Hall didn’t help her figure that out. She did some studying beforehand one a general what to expect potentially from the different places that were listed and mentioned as being on the Isle, but she didn’t actually think they would commit to these different aesthetics as much as they did. She was going to finally make a decision regarding Scar until Raf spoke up, with a question regarding the other leaders. That was honestly a good question to ask in advance to making a decision and BIlly was full intent on listening. Of course, they could have done without Shimmy’s fairly off topic question regarding video game kids. Which had no relevance to the conversation at hand. Much less the fact Fausto rolled with that and answered ever so shortly. Was it too late to turn back on her previous statement of wanting to make amends with the kid? Though, she supposed it was better than large threats. Ian, they heard about from Fausto just previous to the questions. Captain of a crew in Tortuga. Then there was Fern- covens, Billy called a magic-based area there. But, it also seemed like a sore point to Fausto over the idea of anyone messing with that place, which Billy could understand. It actually sounded like the best place to be around thus far, even if Billy was hesitant on being anywhere near some place so in tune with magic. But it wasn’t like they had magic here. So she shouldn’t really have anything to fear there. Unfortunately her question as to what group Southwark people called themselves went unanswered. Still, the fact food was there was a good thought, however the question as to how they pay for things here was up for debate completely. The de Vils being in charge also made sense though, given the connection Cruella de Vil had to London. And back to the Outlands. That a was a little worrying over the idea that the leader there changed regularly- was it a scheduled change? She wasn’t willing to ask yet as she figured there was less of a chance they’d meet them then. She couldn’t entirely believe her decision. But she glanced amongst her group and took a deep breath in as she made it fully, “Then we’re going to skip on meeting Scar.” If meeting him was only to appease Beast, someone who wouldn’t even hear of it or could do anything about it in person, it wasn’t worth going. By all accounts, it didn’t seem like they’d meet him without seeking him out. But these other leaders? These were the people they’d be seeing daily. It was something more important than ignoring orders. “So, who would you suggest we meet first?”

Tait Uli Hightopp
child of the mad hatter and ursula
Was unwelcome a bit harsh for the transfers? Tait had to inwardly ask themself whether or not Auradon kids sounded interesting or fun or new. Well, they were new. Now, he also had more people to ask about his new little pet too. But their use beyond that? Tait was fairly certain it was like a jellyfish trying to grow a brain. Not all that useful to their survival. Who’s survival was absolutely up for question. For all Tait knew, the new children on the Isle could be useless to their own survival or to the kids already living on here’s survival. Well, given his anecdote, he was betting on the former. Turns out, it may be accurate. Go Del! But also go Crew, since they seemed to have put themselves together, from what Mori was saying. They had a prepared group to go ahead and meet the kids with open opportunities for them as well. And a prediction for what was now the only leader they didn’t actively know the plans and actions too. Ian’s was just told, they were all with Fern now, so Collie was left. Oh and Tait supposed Jace. They didn’t really like the ice wolf though. Plus, no one else was really talking about the Ferals, so Tait supposed they just weren’t aware of the Auradon kids yet. He was bewildered over the idea they wanted to come to school here. Sure, Dragon Hall had decent teachers…. Witch School was skewed towards magic folk- which was extremely exciting in terms that they might have people who have actually used magic before- and then Serpent Prep… well, surprisingly, Tait knew the least amount how that school was run. Whoops. Ah! But Fern’s plan. Honestly it was pretty smart. Del could put on a scarily good welcoming facade, plus Fern was a genuinely nice person. Then Mori knew a bunch of places and Tait was Tait. That explained perfectly why he had the job he had and he was so completely chilling as deep ocean sea angler fish.

Fausto Alain Facilier Son of Dr. Facilier and Mademoiselle Charlotte
Fausto thought on that question for a moment. Who was the best to see right now? Ian would be the closest, even if Fern would be the best first impression for the Isle leaders. His sister was sweet and gentle, and would have the transfers on their side in moments. Ian was a good man, but could come off as a little intense. But they were already in Tortuga, and if they were traveling the whole of the Isle today, then the loa boy wasn't keen on circling back to him, either. So he'd be the best start -- or at least the most convenient for the sake of time and energy -- to this little adventure. Then they could move on to Fern.
Meanwhile, Collie would make sense as their third stop, since, again, she was right there in regards to general proximity to Buchannan. And he supposed it would be more likely to catch her out before dark fell, probably. For being such a night owl, she couldn't ever stand being in the dark. He supposed there was a joke somewhere about being scared of the dark at her age, but he wasn't going to make it.
At least, not publically.
Meanwhile, even with the dreaded visit to Hell Hall, going to the Outlands seemed like a worthwhile final stop. Maybe on their way through town, he could try to figure out who was in charge today, and work from there. He sort of hoped it was Jace, who tended to be a little more...personable than Nanji. The panther was a good man...cat...but he hated strangers, he hated Auradon, and he hated surprises. And that hit every mark on the "let's piss off someone who could pick Fausto up in one hand and strangle him" bingo card, and it was just?
Jace was vastly ideal in this scenario.
"I'd suggest seeing Ian first, since we're already here. He's probably on the ship, so it should be quick to find him, anyway." It would honestly be ideal if he had Mair, Sofia, and Farris with him, but that could be a toss up. Probably also a good idea if he didn't have Mori with him, because he was pretty sure she'd try to set them on fire. And Fausto had a lot more faith in Fern stopping her than Ian, who may or may not encourage toasted transfers. "From there, I can take you to Buchannan, then Southwark, then the Outlands." He was going to go ahead and tell them where he was leading them, before they thought (which they probably already did) that this was some sort of trap. "That sound good to y'all?"

Oklahoma "Homie" Tulsa Slim Daughter of Alameda Slim and Kate Barlow
"What d'you think they want, anyway?"
Homie had stayed quiet for a bit, moving to the windows to shine them up a little with a rag. Listening and thinking, her mind turning over the hundreds of possibilities. It just didn't make any sense to her. A "friendly visit" seemed vaguely insulting and very unnecessary. Vacationing on the Isle, or whatever, seemed just cruel and about the most first-world thing Homie could think of.
Frowning into the window, she voiced these thoughts. "I mean, they have to have some sort of motive, they aren't just vacationing here." She couldn't even comprehend that, if that was true. It seemed unnecessarily cruel to "slum it with the criminals" for a holiday. "Right?"
The cowgirl waited for her brother and her friend's opinions. Maybe they had a better picture of the matter, after all.

Edelweiss "Del" Hilda Grimhilde daughter of the Evil Queen and the Huntsman
Go out and get a feel for them?
Fern's idea was solid, and stuck to everyone's strengths in this specific scenario. The only suggestion she really had -- letting Mori play to her strengths and torch the little posts -- was really just her wanting to be a petulant child. She wasn't going to voice it, because she was pretty sure she and her best friend were both thinking it. Fern wouldn't go for it, anyway, and it completely contradicted several of the talking points that Del herself had just brought up.
They needed to avoid the obvious execution-bait.
Instead, Del nodded, already turning ideas around to find the best way to make the transfers feel welcome. She could be sweet and friendly if she needed to be, to keep these kids out of their hair. Was she excited about it? No. Was she at least a little curious?
She'd be lying if she said she wasn't.
"Yeah, we can all handle this." Hopefully, but unlikely, the transfers would either be stupid and naive, or just straight up friendly, so this wouldn't be much of a struggle. "What do we do about the adults in Buchannan? Something tells me they won't be as friendly as we're going to be." That was a given, to the dark haired witch. The adults were not beyond hurting children, and that was all known to them. "...and Ian might be offering them a place to live, but would it hurt to offer them a place as well? It might get a little crowded in Tortuga." They could be welcoming, vaguely humane about this, and also, on a slightly more strategic note, split the transfers up a little more.

Kentucky Roan Slim Son of Alameda Slim and Katherine Barlow
Kenny stayed quiet for a moment. He loved Montana. He did. Montana was literally his best friend (and Homie - he couldn't choose a favorite triplet). If anyone tried to question how much he cared about his brother, Kenny would fight. And Kenny wasn't much of a fighter. He was pretty laid back.
But it was frustrating to see Montana so stressed and wound up, even if Kenny understood where he was coming from and didn't blame him for it.
Instead, he turned his attention to Homie when she spoke. "I don't know, and that's what I don't like. I mean, you don't just leave people to die for twenty years and then send your kids to go make friends with them. And I high doubt that Beast had a change in heart and decided to let us come over there."
It was possible there was a new royal family that had decided to give the Isle inhabitants a second chance at life, but he highly doubted it. "I'm not gonna guess at their reasonings for being here... I just don't think it's something exactly... positive."
Normally he was optimistic and happy to be the one that looked for the best in others. But he just couldn't manage it for these transfers.

Colette "Collie" Jessamine de Vil daughter of Cruella de Vil and Jean-Pierre la Pelt
Was he really trying to?
Cliff??
The smaller blonde sighed, rolling her eyes. "That's not about to work on me, Cliff. It's not that I don't trust you to do this." Cliff wasn't an idiot, and she was pretty sure he knew good and well that he knew that she felt that way. Her brother was actually far more capable than a lot of people gave him credit for, their mother especially. He wasn't just the wandering music boy that wanted to be barefoot, minimum. He had brains, even if he didn't believe that.
That just wasn't Collie's hangup about not going to sleep. "If I go to bed, I'm going to lay down, stare at the ceiling, and wonder what's going on. I'm not going to get any rest out of that." Hell, she'd probably work herself up more, driving herself crazy thinking about it. "That would be literal torture and you know it." If he called her nosy, or even a control freak, she wouldn't even deny it. She liked being on top of things at all times, and such a big unknown floating out there in the universe, like those damnable transfers, was way too big for her to just ignore and nap away. "I'll rest after, I promise." Then she frowned at her twin, vaguely annoyed by his tactics. "Guilt tripping is rude, by the way. Very rude." Not a fan.

Shaka Zane Oyekan Son of Scar and Zira
Shaka liked power. He liked to be feared and respected, and Shamakani was one of the very few people he would willingly step down to. Plus, she would be an infinitely better leader for the ferals than Jace. Her attitude towards this human was just another piece of evidence to show why Shamakani was what the Outlands needed.
He watched where Shamakani and Lekan were going before slipping around to corner the kid from another angle.
"I don't see why they want to protect his useless butt, but it's fun to catch our favorite little human on his own." The word 'favorite' was filled with venom. He knew this kid couldn't be very bright - after all, he thought he could be successful out here - and he didn't want the idiot to get confused and think he was sincere about it.
Shiloh's eyes widened as his gaze moved from lion to lion to lion to... whatever the other kid was.
"Leave me alone! I'll tell Jace!" Shiloh said. He'd tried to make his voice loud, but it came out more as a squeak.
"Oh, listen to that, guys. He's gonna tell Jace as if we actually care what she has to say," Shaka mocked, a vicious smirk crossing his face. "What do you think, Shamakani? Mico? Lekan? Should we back off and let him go crying to his buddy?"
His stance made it clear to Shiloh that he wasn't moving and he saw the young human's gaze desperately searching for somewhere to escape to.

Hertz Emery Doofenshmirtz Son of Doofenshmirtz and Maleficent
TZ spent most of his time in Southwark. At least, when he was on his own he did. It's where he lived, went to school, and where most of his friends were. Plus he did a lot of work with Isabeau so it just made sense for him to stick around there. He very rarely went to the other parts of the Isle, with Buchannan being a bit of an exception. He had family there, so he figured that was a good excuse to go. He didn't want people telling him he didn't belong somewhere, which was why he avoided other parts of the Isle. But nobody would bother him if he was with Dallie, right?
TZ's eyes widened slightly at the multiple questions she threw his way. There weren't many questions, but still more than he expected so he answered them one at a time. "Uh, I did not eat." He'd been locked away and working too much to focus on actually eating, but it was fine. Limited food anyway. He probably wouldn't have gotten much even if he had exited his lab to eat. "Mmmmm. I'd like to be inside, but I was just inside for a long time so outside would probably be better." Yeah, they didn't exactly have the fresh air and sunlight that was supposed to be good for people, but being outside still had to have some benefits, right? Otherwise, why would people ever go outside? It's safe and quiet in your own house. "And something active for sure. I've been cooped up." Despite looking like the type to prefer sedentary activities, TZ was actually quite active.
TZ frowned. "I just want a nemesis because my dad really did like Perry and said they had a great relationship, except for the whole him getting beat up by a platypus thing. But all of the platypi and heroes are on Auradon, so I'm kinda out of luck right now," he said. He also wanted a nemesis that wasn't, like, unfairly strong. Someone that he could beat if he wanted to. He knew the whole fairytale thing was that the hero always won, but was TZ not a hero? Was he forced to be considered a villain forever just because his father was mildly curious about taking over a city? Anyone that knew him would see that Heinz Doofenshmirtz was harmless - sometimes because he just wasn't successful enough to be successful.

Alicio Bleu Arthur Bacon Bête
son of belle and beast
As Komboa mentioned his sister, Alicio had a difficult time not flicking his eyes over to where she was. His previously grinning smile turned to a carefully thin line with his eyebrows furrowing in a concern for her. She didn’t look happy with whatever was happening. She was bad when it came to trying to hide her body language, her emotions, no matter how hard she tried. She was really tense as she was talking with the stranger and with her group. At who she was currently upset with, Alicio wasn’t sure. It was a little sobering, seeing how stressed she was. And here he was just grinning out of excitement. Well, currently frowning out of concern, but the sentiment was initially there. Turning back to the group, he put back on a smile as though nothing had really occurred because what kind of person would he be to suddenly bring down the group’s mood? Apparently it was more difficult than he thought to keep a smile up. He didn’t really catch was Akram had said, distracted with other things, but it was difficult not to catch Eddie’s excited shout. Or the “Who wants to meet the girl who bit the Queen?”Tana Kimimela Inuit. Now, it’s important to state that Alicio doesn’t think her punishment was fair at all. It was an absolute douche move on his father’s part to toss her to the Isle for biting Queen Belle. But Alicio wasn’t going to say it was cool or okay that Inuit bit his mother. It wasn’t cool to bite anyone at all. If his little sister wasn’t allowed to bite people at the age of 3, then Alicio wasn’t going to say that it was okay for a twelve year old to be biting people either. Using the excuse that Tana was a bear that grew up in the wild was BS too because they had a society well enough put together that Beast bothered to visit them. They were aware and she should have known that trying to bite the Queen of Everywhere was going to lead to some kind of punishment that wasn’t worth whatever happened. God, why couldn’t she have bit Beast at least? Much to say, Alicio couldn’t really help it if his jaw locked a little more, attempting to keep up the smile on his face as to not show how bothered he was by this already. The little sorry that was given once Eddie realized Alicio was there felt a little too ingenuine for the situation to Alicio. Probably because it was only mentioned when Eddie looked at Alicio and the fact it was followed by the information that they knew one another a while back. There wasn’t much to say to that and Alicio didn’t feel like giving any kind of verbal indication that it was fine, but it didn’t really matter because one of the people Tana was standing with had started his way down to them. The person actually seemed pretty friendly, albeit a bit eccentric with his introduction and request following it. Eddie spoke first with his introduction with a hand out to shake that Farris, the eccentric, took gleefully before immediately immersing himself in the little notepad he brought along. As Tana gave a vague introduction of Komboa, the writing continued. But apparently it was just a normal thing for Farris to do. Awkwardly, with no attempt to hide the awkwardness of introducing himself with Tana right there, Alicio gave Farris a really small wave and trying to keep with the smiley attitude he had before this entire situation, introduced himself, “Alicio Bleu Bête, son of Queen Belle and King Adam.”As a technical title, it was correct. Even if people forwent calling King Adam King Beast…. Or simply Beast. It wasn’t really respectful, but a lot of people didn’t respect him. Including his kids. He was a bit surprised when Farris directed a question to him about that, “Bleu? Middle Name?”“Half of my first name, actually, technically. Alicio Bleu, it’s just… easier to go by Alicio a lot of the time,” Alicio responded instead. Farris just nodded understandingly and Alicio figured falling into a silence there was going to be something good to go by then. At least let others introduce themselves and whatever.

Mico Jean Honesty
son of molly & honest john “Oh no! Not Jace,” Mico started, eyes growing wide with a mocked gasp to follow, ”It’s not as though she’s tried to warn us off from hurting her pity project, not as though she couldn’t do anything based off of the rules established in the little society, right?” He said it with a blink of his widened eyes and shake of his head in a sad little pout before abruptly grinning with fangs once more. “Oh, right. She has and she couldn’t.”
Mico had only been out here a little longer than the human, but he obviously picked up on the society out here better. Shiloh seemed to keep thinking that Jace or Nanji could protect him. Somehow, the lesson didn’t seem to be sticing that this was a place for the strong to rule the weak. That Shiloh was weak. Now, Mico wasn’t saying he himself was very strong. Perhaps if born on Auradon in the same feral circumstance, he’d find himself above his current company. Magic had a habit of crushing those without it after all, yet that wasn’t the case. Mico learned where to put himself in the pecking order. He learned to listen to those who had ideas to grow stronger. To listen to those who didn’t believe they currently held all the power. Those that were trying to gain the power and in doing so were most likely to topple a society. He wasn’t in this group with these lions because he held some deep attachment to Shamakani and wanted to see her as the ruler of the Ferals. Sure, he was willing to support her in her endeavours, but he couldn’t deny the large part of him that was in this to overturn a leader who thought they had everything under control. If it started with teaching said leader that they can’t protect those they want to? Who was Mico to deny that?

Moriena “Mori” Blackbeard daughter of morgana and captain blackbeard
At Fern's words, Mori filled with pride. She couldn't help it. The woman was trusting her with a lot. Sure, she had just brought vital information to the Coven that, to her knowledge, Fern had no way to get otherwise. Still. She was proud. It helped that she wasn't used to being trusted by her mother, and Fern's motherly aura was infectious.
Even with Del's confirmation, she wanted to speak for herself too. They were similar people, yes, but her voice was important. Fern had asked her, not Del. She could stand down to her best friend, sure, but that didn't mean she was silent. "Of course I can." She smirked, settling back into her snarky self. Her pride didn't make her a bumbling idiot, waiting for mommy's attention. It just made her refocus.
Mori didn't want to be nice to the transfers, but it was what Fern wanted, and it was probably for the best. There was no need for any of them to fight the Auradon kids right away. That seemed to spell disaster, even if Mori would eventually want to burn them. She would reserve her judgement until a later date, when Fern wasn't trying to make allies. The arson, of course, was always on the table. Everyone in the circle knew her well enough to know that she always had that trick in her back pocket if they needed it.
With Del's questions, Mori had to think about it. She couldn't speak without making sure her ideas were solid. "When we're with them, they'll be safe." She glanced at Fern, Del and Tait individually. They were the leaders of the Coven. They held the most power in this city, adults be damned. "None of the elderly folk will try to get to them when we're around, so we only have to worry about when we're not around."
To her, that meant that they had to stalk them. Put a tail on each of the five to protect them. It could be obvious or not, but as long as they were safe, she didn't care. If the King had a reason to destroy the Isle, she would end up in the line of fire. Generally, she'd like to avoid that. "Do we even have a place for them?" If they could split up the kids by schools and sleeping locations, it would be easier to figure out what they were doing here.

ARIA ISMINI OLYMPIA daughter of persephone and hades
"Trading negotiations? Populace control? All of the transfers are secretly prisoners like Tana?" Aria could continue, but she decided to shut up. She had made her point. trying to guess what they wanted was futile. They could think up hundreds of possibilities, but none of them would ever be confirmed unless they asked the kids. That only worked if the kids even knew why they were here, which Aria didn't put it past the King not to tell them. They were just kids, after all. How could they be trusted to do anything they were told. All adults were the same, really. Predictable.
Aria couldn't say that she knew what Beast would do, but she was raised by a God. Someone who knew how to rule over others. Hades would hide whatever he had to, just to get his way. If it meant that he ended up getting what he wanted, well the means justify the ends. Not that the ends were moral either. Still, she knew that he wouldn't put her in any danger.
The young Goddess couldn't say the same thing about Beast with his own children.
"One thing is for certain: Something bad will happen." She usually liked to stay positive, especially when it came to something so important and stressful. Aria was sure that Montana was growing grey hairs back in the kitchen. She couldn't help her pessimism, though. Something was wrong. It was a feeling in her gut, like she got when the dead were talking in omens.
It was a bad sign, one she wouldn't dare tell any of them. Instead, she plastered a smile on her face and asked, "Even if they're here to destroy us, we can try go be their friends. I don't trust them, but if they trust us, it works out." She wasn't sure if she could ever trust someone from Auradon. The country took her mother away for six months, never letting her child step foot on the land that should be her home too. Persephone had fought to bring her daughter, but the Goddess herself was only allowed due to her necessity. Aria did not have necessity.

Raffaello "Raf" Maldonia son of tiana and naveen
While Shimmy spoke, Raf decided that he probably needed to pay more attention to what happened in the world. Why was this Ralph person so important? He hadn't spent much time in San Fransokyo, nor did he know many people from the realm. That was Eddie's job. He was the one who actually learned things about other people, like their background and what happened to them. Raf was the one to bring them all together, no matter their differences. Which kind of made him sad, since no one had spoken about his party. It was realistic to think that many of them were too young, but he didn't think that was the case for every one of them. Maybe they were just lame.
Raf didn't exactly want to listen to Fausto's monologues about the Isle, but as he had just pointed out, he needed to learn more about people. Not everything had to be up to Eddie, especially when Raf couldn't be sure that they would always be together. Nah, this was a new adventure that Raf had to navigate without help. He was already standing his ground with a Facilier. He could do whatever he set his mind to. Well, except for apparently listening. Raf had almost missed what the shadowteen had been talking about by having an internal monologue himself. Whoops.
He came in around Fausto speaking of his new home, Buchannan. Of course it was where the Facilier's would be in charge. He knew the King wasn't the nicest person, but whoever had decided this wanted Raf's head on a platter. Honestly, Raf couldn't blame anyone for feeling that way. He knew how to get himself into trouble. Still, it made him worried. If he was in the home of his parent's mortal enemy, that meant the others would be as well. It meant that Eddie would be faced with it.
Eddie had came to the Isle with that idea in mind, but with the knowledge that they ran one of the cities made Raf's skin crawl. Even if they had food, which meant that between any restaurants with edible food and the suitcase his mother had sent Eddie wouldn't be starved, it wouldn't protect all of him. Maybe Raf needed to figure out a way into the area every day. It's not like he needed to go to their school anyways. Auradon's education system was superior in every way. Raf wasn't trying to be rude, but it was just the truth.
When all is said and done, Raf didn't want to be listening to Facilier. He didn't want Billy trusting the little devil and he certainly didn't want to be shown around. No inch of him trusted the kid to make sure they were safe, no matter what he said. If there was one thing he knew, it was not to trust anything that came out of a Facilier's mouth. Now he knew there were more to watch out for, at least. He wasn't going to trust this Ian kid either. He sounded like a rowdy pirate. Usually that would be cool, but Raf wasn't too sure.
Glancing towards the other groups, Raf wanted to ask about Tana. It wasn't hard to hear the shouting from here. Still, he refrained. Eddie would fill him in later. Instead of questioning the presence of a former friend, Raf clicked his tongue and Dipper came running over. The dog had been running around in the sand, but with a move happening soon, Raf wanted him close. He nodded towards Facilier's question, not sure if the man had even looked at him for confirmation or not but not willing to seem weak again.
His fear was mostly under control. Dipper helped.

Deryn"Dallie" Duinedubh daughter of maleficent and diaval
"There's not many places to eat here," She frowned, thinking of the fried lizards in Tarragon Tomorrow. Willa would fire her for the next few days if she took the last two witch snacks for her and her brother. Who even knew if Hertz would eat the thing or not. He wasn't usually picky, but Dallie wasn't certain enough to risk her job about it. Not that it would last for long. Willa would have her back in the shop within the week. The Phoenix only knows how long the woman could actually last without her help. She had a baby to look after. The shop was nothing to Willa compared to her daughter, which Dallie had to respect. Didn't mean she liked the amount she had to work because of the little beast.
While listening to her brother, Dallie tried her best to figure out how to give him whatever he wanted. It was one of her goals as a big sister to make sure he was a happy and healthy teenager. Well, as much as a teenager could be happy and healthy on the Isle. "But you want to be outside," This further limited eating options, so she might just have to give up on making sure TZ ate enough. She had enough trust in Doofenshmirtz to make sure her little brother ate enough. Even if he wasn't at home with his mother, she was sure that his father new better than to leave TZ malnourished. The Doctor had his work cut out for him too, if his attitude about not eating said anything about it. Dallie almost felt sorry for him. Almost.
Then, Dallie figured out what they could do that would make him more comfortable, he looked violently out of place in Buchannan, and keep him active enough where he would burn off some excess energy. Plus, if she led them in the right direction, she could probably convince one of the Slims to give him a burrito. She would solve all their problems with one idea. People really needed to start listening to her more. She was an absolute genius. "We're going to race to Southwark." He had probably just came from there, but it was more his home than Coven territory would ever be.
Before taking off, Dallie put her hands on her brother's shoulders, "You don't need to have a nemesis to have a great relationship with others, Hertz." She didn't want to discourage him. If he could find someone he could defeat on a weekly basis, she was fine with it. She was not, however, fine with her little brother losing battles every week. Especially if it was just about having a friend he could bond with. He didn't need to fight someone for that kind of relationship. He just needed to talk to others. Maybe she could set him up on a friend-date. She just needed to figure out who.

Komboa Tabari Adebayo Son of Kion & Rani
Tana
It was Tana. Komboa didn't think he'd ever been happier to see the girl! There were multiple reasons right now that he was restraining himself from running over to hug her. Well, the reason for the restraint was mostly because he didn't know if Tana liked hugs from random lion boys, and he didn't want the other two Isle kids to think he was attacking her. But still. It was very nice to see her. She seemed like a pretty cool person from the times he'd talked to her. Plus it was extremely unfair that she'd been banished, so Komboa was glad to see that she was alive and had good relationships (at least he assumed she had a decent relationship with the two boys she was with). Plus it would be so much easier to work with someone he already knew than trying to figure out some random Isle kid. For the first time since they landed, he actually felt decent about what was happening.
Though that was quickly replaced by fear again once the excitement of seeing Tana subsided and he realized he was still on the Isle of the Lost.
"Shamakani?" he asked, momentarily distracted by the mention of someone he'd never heard of. A Scar child, he assumed, based on the fact that Tana mentioned he was related to Scar. Okay, he needed to meet this Shamakani at some point.
But now.
Now.
Now he needed to focus on being a leader. He cleared his throat and shook the hand of one of the boys - Mair. Mair. Farris. Okay. Komboa could remember Mair and Farris. And Tana would be easy to remember since he already knew her. He just didn't want to make a bad impression by forgetting the names of Mair and Farris. The last thing Komboa wanted to do was make Mair and Farris think he didn't care about them by forgetting their names. Mair and Farris. He could do that.
"Komboa Tabari Adebayo, as Tana already said. Son of Kion and Rani. Scar would be my..."[\font] Komboa pauses for a second, mentally going through his family tree. "Great grand uncle? I believe? My great grandfather's brother." He quickly stopped himself. Family trees interested him and that's why he wanted to meet this Shamakani kid, but he realized the last thing he wanted to do was ramble in front of these new Isle kids.
"Then we have Eddie, Alicio, and Akram," Komboa said, motioning to each of his guys as he said their name. Most had already introduced themselves and he wanted to give Akram the chance to do his own full introduction, but there were a lot of names being exchanged right now and he didn't want anyone to be left out or have their name left out in the shuffling around of introductions.
He only had Mair and Farris that were new to him. Mair and Farris had Komboa, Eddie, Akram, and Alicio. That was twice as many people to remember. If they even cared about remembering who was who, but from the little he'd seen of them, they seemed like decent human beings and Komboa sure hoped they would put effort into remembering which transfer was which. Parents weren't necessary to remember, but at least names. Komboa didn't want to fail and didn't want his group to be the only one with a bad relationship with the Isle kids.
He took a deep breath, noticing his hand was starting to shake slightly. He stuck it into the pocket of his khakis. Of course, he'd dressed nice for his first meeting with the Isle kids. Black leather shoots, clean khakis, a blue and white button down shirt, and his favorite blue bow tie. He focused his attention on Tana for the most part, but made sure that he also focused on Mair and Farris. He wasn't sure which of them was in charge, and he didn't want to leave anyone out.
"Hi. It's, uh, nice to meet you." His words were coming out quickly and he could feel his face heating up, but he made a conscious effort not to rush all of his words out at once. He could do this. He could calm down enough to ask them for help. "We were, ah, just looking for somewhere that we would be able to reside while we're here, and were wondering if you guys knew of any vacancies at the moment."
There. That sounded... okay, right? Not too demanding or pretentious. Clearly sharing what he needed. But not in a way that made it look like he could be walked all over.
He hoped.
Wow, he really shouldn't have come. It was taking all of his self restraint not to go run off to the boat where he was safer and happier. Taking all his restraint not to put Eddie in charge and grab a one way ticket back to Auradon.
He was sure he could come up with some excuse about why he had come back. Maybe he had gotten too seasick and hadn't wanted to go to the Isle with everyone else. Maybe Alexander had lied and told Hana that Kion and Rani needed him home to be a leader in the Pridelands. Maybe... Maybe... Just maybe Scar himself had come out of the shadows and refused to have any of the Auradon lions prowling around his territory.
All of those excuses ran through Komboa's head and he was suddenly feeling sick again, but he stayed exactly where he was. He could do this.
Hopefully.
He at least couldn't let Billy and Maggie down within a few minutes of stepping off the boat, and Komboa was ashamed to admit it was that that was keeping him here, not self confidence or the pride of a job well done or whatever else was supposed to motivate leaders.
He sucked as a leader, he knew, but wasn't that his whole reason for being here? He couldn't turn away so quickly. Instead, he tried his best to give Tana, Mair, and Farris a warm smile. After all, despite being a lion (one of the more intimidating animals on Auradon, he liked to think), Komboa was not a very intimidating boy.

Oklahoma "Homie" Tulsa Slim Daughter of Alameda Slim and Kate Barlow
Homie gave a soft hum of agreement, unsure. They were both right, obviously. This couldn't bode well for the Isle as a whole, because honestly, she doubted that Auradon even saw them as people. Twenty years didn't pass for their literal king, the supposed embodiment of kindness and generosity, to go "whoops-a-daisy, I forgot those starving children, my bad!". That would be idiotic. Well, even more idiotic than she assumed their mission already was.
"I wouldn't let Collie hear the words "population control", Aria." Homie snorted, instead. She didn't need to explain what she meant, it wasn't exactly a secret. Their boss had...quite frankly, gone a little bit off the deep end since Richard's murder. Not that she blamed her, anyway. Well, maybe a little. Grief was hard, and it seemed to have turned their boss paranoid and bitter, always expecting the worst outcome of any situation to take place. And that made her...less than ideal to deal with this kind of situation, where there were so many unknowns and so many things to go wrong. She had to assume that the admins of Southwark were handling it, since Montana's concern seemed to be on feeding the transfers, not keeping Collie from executing the Auradon transfers where they stood. "Last thing we need is for her to do something rash defending us, like...Iunno...controlling their population first."
Not that the cowgirl was particularly opposed to just...conveniently getting rid of these transfers if they proved to have bad intentions. She'd just like to sort those intentions out, first. Before there was murder involved. Murder was a preferable alternative, but not the primary option, thanks. "I do wonder if there's a way we can play this to our advantage, though..."

Akram Jian Agrabah Son of Aladdin and Jasmine
Akram nodded in agreement, trying to back up his friend's words. Well, Komboa wasn't explicitly his friend, but they were Boy Scouts together, and then this trip bonded them further, he liked to think. If they weren't, by definition, friends, then they were at least friendly allies, right? He held no ill will or opinion of any of the boys in this group, and he didn't plan on starting, either.
He had winced when Tana's attack on Queen Belle came up, glancing warily towards Alicio, who seemed uncomfortable with this whole situation. And Akram didn't blame him. While he didn't find the official royal couple of Auradon to be particularly great or kind, he knew that their son might hold a different opinion. After all, he got to see a side of the King and Queen that the Prince of Agrabah had never seen before. Who was to say that Belle wasn't a loving and kind mother? But Akram also didn't know a whole lot about the situation there, with Tana biting her. Maybe she deserved it, maybe she didn't. However, he tried to put his hand on the smaller boy's shoulder in an attempt to support him. Biting Belle or not, no kid needed to hear someone celebrating that his mother got hurt. If someone hurt -- or even considered hurting -- Jasmine, then he knew he'd be very upset as well.
"We don't need somewhere horribly big or well to do, just somewhere to hold us." He added softly, to show they weren't pushing their way in here and demanding the biggest and the best. "We can pay for it, too -- or do things to help out in payment, maybe?" Perhaps it wasn't the best idea, to offer themselves into the debt of a bunch of potentially criminal strangers. But it seemed like the most peaceful and reasonable solution.

Clifford "Cliff" Jonathan de Vil son of cruella de vil and jean-pierre la pelt
With his act being found out, Cliff crossed his arms and pouted. He thought his acting was perfect! There was some truth within the act, first of all. He could totally be trusted to lead the Mafia if it came down to it. He'd stepped in for her before. Unfortunately, he also knew his sister well enough to know that she would trust him if she needed him. His little speech was solely an act because he didn't feel useless because he wasn't useless, not to Collie. "You could've at least pretended for a second." He wasn't too upset that his little act had been found out, but he had assumed he had more talent than that.
He listened to her and nodded with her words. It was completely plausible, and he understood why she didn't want to spend her time freaking out in bed. At the very least, he could get her to eat and freak out at the table. There he would at least be around to combat whatever little freak out she was having at one certain time. He just had to figure out what they had that Collie could actually get down. It's not like they had a lot of options in the first place, let alone something Collie could actually stomach.
"Fine, but I'm still making you eat. Follow me." With that, he started limping towards the kitchen, not giving his twin a choice. If Collie was given a choice, she would decide not to, so this was just the easiest route. Not that Cliff really had a leg to stand on when it came to eating. He was just as bad as she was, if not worse. Especially while she had been gone. It meant that they had one less mouth to feed, which equated to more food for the younger kids. He would starve before any of them were malnourished. Going to bed hungry as a child made everything worse. He didn't want anything like that for the little kids.
After she called him out, Cliff just shrugged and looked back at her, "Blame Ian. It's all his doing." He thought of the way the man set food down next to him, like it was normal for someone in their relationship to take care of each other. As if he meant more. They had a defined relationship, and loving each other really wasn't in the cards for them, but Ian still cared. Ian made sure that Cliff ate and got rest when he was on the boat, and got mad at him when he left things around because it meant he walked home cold. Guilt tripping was the only way that Cliff allowed himself to eat before he got used to it.
