Milia listened in curiously as Genocide spoke. "Well, I suppose it is alright for a little violence if people try taling your things." Within reason of course. As they walked, she began to try and advertise her catches, calling out the species and how good they'd go with certain things. And soon enough, she had a buyer, relieving her of two fish.

Genocide watched as Milia made the sell.Quick and to the point.Not how he'd do it but it worked.He could tell this wasn't the hardest part of her job but looked more time consuming."Seem rather quick with that."The tall goblin commented."That faster than with weapons?"

Milia arched a brow. "No one is faster than a fully trained Waterway with a long-range weapon." They were some of the best crackshots in the world, especially with the bow. "Either way, these people know me. They're more inclined to buy from me regardless." She smiled sheepishly at the goblin.

Genocide smirked."Try a Dune Rider with the Death Worm they were raised with."He replied."But what I meant was do weapons sell faster."He chuckled.

Milia shrugged at his suggestion, still not phased. When he spoke again, she said "Food sells faster, but most of the time it is cheaper. Waterway weaponry is among the best, so it sells for more in most cases, though selling food and weaponry might not be seen as a good comparison. I suppose it just depends."

Genocide nodded."I know I'm talking about them a lot,for reasons I will not converse unless deemed relevant,but ever wondered what would happen if someone had Waterway weapons and Dune Rider gear?"He asked curiously."I know the desert and water are complete opposites but they seem like a good combination."

Milia shrugged a little. "Who knows. Could be quite something, but it all depends on who's wearing the gear and using the weapons." She paused for a moment so she could sell a few more fish, smiling as she made the exchange.

"Makes sense."Genocide replied."I mean,a troll could certainly do more than a fairy.But an elf could do it more efficiently than a troll."He watched as she sold more fish and felt like he was going to need to help someone here.Strange vibe to get from a fish but most things were."So,where do I go for that thing we discussed earlier?"

Milia must've let it slip her mind, and she asked with a raised brow "Pardon that I ask for a refresher. I'm afraid I don't even remember what we had apparently discussed. Perhaps it's because I was so interested in actually showing you around." She was still wondering about the Dune Rider gear and Waterway weaponry combination.

Milia nodded. "Oh, that's right!" She looked around. "You'll want to go this way here." She began leading him in a slightly different direction of the market. "This is where all the hirelings hang around, and therefore people who need said hirelings."

"Well then I shouldn't look too out of place.Might actually be considered new."The tall goblin pondered aloud as he followed the otter."There isn't any prejudices I need to know about are there?"

Milia shook her head. "No, not really. Only if you make a bad reputation for yourself here. That's all up to you though." Eventually they reached the part of the market where it was more weaponry, armor and other serious gear.

Genocide gazed at the stuff sold at this part will dulled interest.All the things here looked either mass produced or made with low effort.He studied some of the things being sold and saw strange looking bows and even a sword that looked like it had been twisted."Are all the weapons here this strange?"

Milia shrugged. "We're not in the inner ring yet, plus you're not going to find the best Bryghtwood quality out here regardless of the rings. All the best needs to be made and purchased privately, by money or through trade." And that usually ended up with the higher-ups. Those who had the coin.

forestpawAlma was finally able to have time to herself. Well, time away from duties anyway. She didn't dislike managing the kingdom, but it could be a bit much sometimes and she finally was able to take a break! She'd decided to settle in the gardens, walking around the private enclosed area to look around at the vegetation and occasional animal. There was even a rabbit there, but everyone fed it plenty of people food so it didn't really eat any of the plants meant for the castle. Finding a spot to settle down, beneath one of the trees growing within the enclosure, she huffed. Alma debated going down to the Arena to watch the fights, but she hadn't in a while for risk of not being around when she was needed. ~~~~~ In the private realm he shared with his two friends, Nim was sitting down by a lake. The huge white tiger was lounging lazily in a patch of shade, watching the lake. Watching animals occasionally show up to take a drink of water. He usually spent his days lounging around or in his library, reading books he already knew the information of. Still, he enjoyed it. Yawning, his jaws gaped open for a moment before closing again, an ear twitching.

Roman was walking by the gardens as Alma was walking. He was accompanied by his usual entourage as they went over what duties he still had to do before the end of the day. Though he knew having a few others to help him out with things around the castle, having people following him around almost everywhere he went got pretty annoying after a time. Roman’s gaze wandered around the garden as a man spoke to him about some sort of upcoming event. His gaze finally rested on his wife as she walked through the gardens. His heart still throbbed every time he saw her despite being married to her for quite some time. Roman found that he wasn’t focusing on the people in his entourage any longer and stopped, holding up a hand to signal them to stop and hush. “I will discuss everything further with you all later after dinner. For now give me peace.” He said in a gentle, yet stern voice. The entourage nodded and bowed without protest before turning to leave. Roman then huffed and fixed his hair a little before going to join his wife.
Just as Nim yawned, there was a familiar screech from above. Dakota landed on a high tree branch, staring down at Nim with one golden eye. The eagle then swooped down landed near the white tiger, flapping his wings a little in a quiet greeting after landing.

Alma looked up, having heard voices. Well, the only thing that really stood out was Roman's voice. Her dark eyes studied him as she saw him actually join her. "Finally able to get away from your little entourage, hm?" Her eyes held an amused expression before looking around the garden again. She already felt much better than before now that he was there. Alma always felt a little giddy when she saw Roman, even when she had to hide it during serious meetings and the like.
~~~~
Nim flicked an ear before turning his large head toward Dakota. He simply looked at him for a moment befire speaking "Hello, Dakota." He studied him a moment longer before looking toward the lake again. "What have you been up to?" Dakota had always been the most social one, walking among the mortals, and the Guides hadn't gone on just a trip for fun in some time. As he waited on an answer, he casually began to wash his face.
Roman huffed and nodded, “yes, thank the Gods.” He said with a small smile. He reached down and took Alma’s hand, intertwining her fingers with hers. “But that does mean that I won’t have much time to be with you tonight.” He said. He wished he could just have a day off with Alma, but he knew he couldn’t. Not as king.
Dakota neatly tucked his wings in as he listened to Nim speak. “Well, I visited the mortal realm a few days ago, but nothing too exciting was happening so I decided to come back here. Other than that nothing really.” He looked to his friend, “what about you?”
Alma arched a brow. "I'm going to see to it that we have a day off. All to ourselves. With no one to bother us." She looked at him mischeviously before getting an expression of genuine amusement. "It's fine, love. Really. Best to tend to the kingdom than to neglect the duties, no matter how prolonged or even boring."
Nim hummed. "I went just the other day as well, but you know how I am. I just took a walk through the forestry there, passed through a few villages as an otter or a bear." He chuckled. "I still don't know how you do it. Here I am being reserved despite being what I am, but you're out there talking and walking among them."
"Figures,some of the people out here look like they'd break it the moment they touched it."Genocide smirked."But none of it compares to my good ol' axe."He sighed as he removed his hand from it and his eyes turned red,as did the outline of the large war axe and then it floated in front of him."Nothing beats a soul bond when it's a weapon you made."
(Neither him or the weapon have any actual powers tho, right? Cause there's really not supposed to be much magic in the mortal world aside from the presence of the Guides for now)
Milia nodded a little. "Yes, I suppose that is true. Anyway, let's go see if there's a spot where you can hang around and maybe arrange a deal with someone. Unless you want to go see the inner ring first or something?" That had the best quality objects there really, though she knew Genocide had been looking to see where the hirelings hung out.
(Right,it's kind of a curse?I'm not exactly sure what it classifies under but it's not like the other rp where he can control it like in a fight,it's more of a charm that allows him the ability to use it for presentation.What his type of goblin does is do that right before a battle as a warning to their quarries they got one more chance to surrender.Works most of the time.A very lazy breed of goblins lol)
"I'm just here to get money."He replied,the outline returning and his eyes going back to normal."It's not like I've got much skill in anything else."
If you can even find the time for us.” He joked. The man then sighed and looked ahead, “what would I do without you to keep me going? I’m pretty sure our kingdom would be in shambles by now.” He said with a small laugh, squeezing his wife’s hand a little as he did. Dakota let out a squawk that sounded like a laugh, “you know they’re not all so bad.” He said, “it’s very... humbling to walk among them. Plus, mortals can really know how to give a good time.” He said while turning into his human form, “besides, when the mortals see me like this, or find out who I am despite being disguised they can hardly stay away.” He teased. He sounded like he was being both reckless and careless, but he was actually quite careful when it came to the mortal realm, and rarely revealed his true self.
Alma chuckled. "I'm sure you'd be fine. You wouldn't let the kingdom become shambles, I'm sure. Neither would the other Houses." The kingdom was doing quite well under Roman though, prosperous and plentiful. "I'd rather you be busy managing a good kingdom than not be busy and have it crumble, hm?" Though they thankfully never came close to such things, always able to avoid conflict.
Nim didn't look at Dakota. "You should be leaving them alone, really. We currently serve no purpose amongst them. The only reason to possibly spend time there is to go their gatherings, but there's too much alcohol at those. And not enough clothing." Parties nowadays were very strange, and his whiskers twitched at the thought. "Though I suppose the domain of mortals is more your thing now. I preferred the earlier days, when they had more sense." He spoke simply, calmly like he always did.
“Of course not, Dear.” He said with a small smile. He then looked shards again, “so how did you get out of your duties so early?” He asked curiously. Normally she was just as busy as him, so this was unusual, unless she took breaks he didn’t know about, in which case it would be fine, but they would have to have a small talk.
Dakota turned to lay as he looked up at the sky, his hands reaching up for his head to rest on. “Why leave the mortals alone when they’re the only exciting thing that’s happening in or lives right now?” He said, “I think you’d like the mortal realm if you really just gave it a chance.”
Alma arched a brow. "I had a short day today. Along with hearing from the Waterways and Vinnards, I also had to listen to news about the Arena. The place is getting a larger flow of fighters than usual, and I'm considering having an investigation done." Because too many competitors usually meant foul play somehow.
Nim hummed in acknowledgement. "And I suppose you will show me the wonders I'm missing." He yawned again. "You are an all but limitless god. I am pretty sure you could find some amusement if not to go to mortal parties." He glanced at Dakota. "Though I suppose I will have to go with you next time you attend one of these gatherings. You likely know the best places to go."
“I think that would be a necessary move. It’s best to make sure there’s nothing bad going on behind the scenes before things get too out of hand.” Roman said, “and it’ll be best to launch one sooner rather than later.” The king then watched as some people worked on planting new flowers near by.
Dakota shrugged, “I wouldn’t really call them wonders, but if that’s the word you want to use..” He then sat up, “wait really? What happened to not being too fond of modern day humanity?” He asked suspiciously.
Alma nodded in agreement. "Exactly. I still remember when there was that whole betting ordeal. Tossing in people for the fights while others made a killing on the bets." She snorted at the memory. "Sad thing is that my family's all wrapped up in it with those idiot partners they let buy their way in." She knew her family had nothing to do with anything as they ran the Arena, but those knucklehead partners of their did. She could tell, but no proof of course.
Nim snorted. "Not too fond of them killing each other or dancing around practically three fourths naked at their parties." He studied Dakota. "But I suppose I would be more inclined to attend a party rather than one of those petty match fights. And, since you're such an expert on mortal ways, I'm sure you can sniff out a place where the women remain relatively clothed and the men can keep themselves in their pants."
