Milia blinked once. "Waterway? One of the Founding Houses?" Though she supposed Genocide wouldn't know if he were from far, far away. Still, her family name was apparently known when she traveled still. "We make good bow and arrows from good wood and minerals, and a lot of seafood products. We know where all the best fish and such are, and the best things to make of them.

"Ahh,"Genodcide began."The café in the store for this territory.I've ran into a few of those. They work until someone moves in with more stuff.Surprised you're still going, having only selling bows. How do you manage?"

Astra nodded, slightly impressed with the young woman's response as she contiuned to care for the wampus. She climbed through the tree's branches and stung the rope around the thickest one. Letting it down, the half-elf kept after it and began to pull. The golden beast, unsurprisingly, was quite heavy. Although she was having difficulty with it, she was able to start pulling it up inch by inch. The ranger turned her attention towards the woman as she pulled.
"Lots of things," Astra grunted in response. "I hunt and sell whatever I catch in town occassionally. I also act as a guide for anyone who needs it as well as any other odd jobs like that." The half-elf paused for a moment as she heaved the wampus upwards. It was getting closer to the tree where it'd remain safe for a few hours. At least until she could prepare to sell it. "Anyway, what about you? What brought you to this forest."

Milia laughed. "Ha! Waterway bows are the best! And so are our arrows! Anything long range actually, not just bows. And I also stated we sell a lot of seafood. Good stuff." She glanced over at Genocide. "I assume you're not from Bryghtwood, or else you'd be aware of this, though I suppose that's expected since goblins aren't really from here. Not purebreds anyway."

AmberSelva shrugged. "I sell my wares, mainly dried meats and cheeses, which I make back home. Oh, and some good fabrics from outside Bryghtwood boundaries. Nothing local to Crown's Way though, which is why I go there. I can charge decent coin." She actually traveled quite far to hunt the animals and grab the materials to make other food products. "I was just on my way there, actually. See what I can sell, maybe stop by the temple there to leave a few things for the Guides." She wasn't some dedicated fanatic or anything, but she liked to believe there were higher beings around. Shrugging a little, she added "I have it all back at my cart, pulled by my horse, Fitz. If you're heading that way too, I can give you a ride?" Selva offered a friendly smile.

Milia nodded a little. "Yes, no one dares to attack Bryghtwood. The kingdom is of many and mighty." After another little while, she saw the capitol in the distance. "See, there it is. Massive, isn't it?"

Milia nodded. "Ah, we can walk around while I see about selling these fish here. Someone's bound to buy them." Upon getting into the thick of the capitol, she said "How about I take you to the market? Plenty of things to see there."

Milia grinned before leading the way to the market. When they arrived there, she looked around at the busy pathways and people. Stalls, shops and blankets set out with goodies galore. Everyone trying to sell something. "Come on," she said, leading the way farther in.

All Genocide saw were things that would only give someone short term happiness."And people actually buy this stuff?"He asked with curiosity as he saw random foods, clothing, and trinkets that looked like they'd break the moment they were used."How gullible are these people?"

Milia shrugged. "You act like everything here is useless. I suppose because you are a foreigner you don't know this kingdom's quality." She could all but taste his judgement, but she knew that most of the stuff there was great quality, whether some people thought so or not. "But this is only the outskirts of the market. The good stuff is farther in."

"Well, the only quality I care about is if I take it apart can I use it for something else."He chuckled. It wasn't that he cared much about the use but when you've been in the situations he had you tend to learn a thing or two."So this is just a test of sorts. If anyone isn't sent back by the garbage out here they'll keep going."

Milia shrugged. "More or less. It's just that the better shops and the like tend to migrate toward the center of the market. You'll also find some good quality things in the North District, but that's where most of the criminals hang around." The outer ring of the market wasn't so bad though, as there were fresh fruits and the smell of good food cooking. Even the occasional good weapon or piece of jewelry. Nothing like the inner ring though.

Milia shrugged a little. "I go toward the middle of the market, between the inner and outer ring. Common folk there, easy sell for the fish." That's why she didn't stop in the outer ring. "I can seel in the outer ring of the market, but for a low price. So inward it is!"

(Got busy, so sorry for the late reply.)
The half-elf nodded in interest. She knew how to make her own food, but perhaps she'd buy something from the merchant."Sounds nice. Doeneding where you get your meat, I'm sure you could charge premium price. For example I'm sure someone would want this wampus meat. I'm not sure why people would eat it, meat from predators isn't that good, but if it brings in coin who am I to complain?" Astra genstered towards the hanging golden beast. She gazed up at it for a moment, wondering exactly how she'd process it. She turned her attention back towards Selva as the young woman spoke again. Although she didn't say anything, Astra nodded in reply. She didn't pay much attention to the Guides, but had heard of the mysterious figures. She didn't know much about them, or cared to learn. To Astra, the Guides were just there. At least supposedly.
The young half-elf smiled at the merchant's proposal, but shook her head. "No thanks. I wasn't heading there. At least not yet." Once more she gestered to the wampus. After a pause, an idea popped into the woman's head. "Hey, you want to split whatever I get from the wampus? You helped me back there, so it only seems fair that we split profit if you want."

(It's fine :3)
Selva blinked once at the proposal. "Oh, I'd hardly call it helping. All I really did was throw a dagger." Though she supposed that throw kept Astra from getting killed. "I'll still accompany you to wherever you'll sell that wampus though, but I don't think my cart would be able to carry it. I've got too much stuff in it already." She smiled sheepishly. "It would be quite a quest to sell the beast's parts though, but I'm sure you'd get a nice bit of coin like you said. You don't see one of these everyday." She had managed to sell predator meat before, wolf meat actually from one that tried attacking her, and it took some time before a buyer decided to take some. "I managed to get wolf meat on my cart once though. I think people just like the unusual in any sense, be it food or to look at."

"I can seel in the outer ring of the market, but for a low price. So inward it is!" "Marketing."Genocide huffed."It's confusing but rewards those who understand it."It was always take what you need leave what you don't for him.Never once did he use his riches for buying worthless items."Alright, but if I see one person reach for my bag I'm cutting his hands off."

Milia shook her head quickly. "Maybe just beat a thief around, but cutting parts off would get you arrested. See those guards?" She pointed to a pair of centaur casually patrolling, dressed in armor on their human area, swords hanging at their sides. "There's plenty around the market, and they always manage to catch people. You seem like a nice guy, so let's not part ways like that?"

"Whatever."Genocide replied with a grunt. He could easily escape them. All you really needed to do was just keep a height advantage and avoid the projectiles.Keep the sun in their eyes to-.Ugh,I'm doing it again!"So do you have regular buyers or are they new every time?"

Milia shrugged a little, saying "It depends. Sometimes I have repeat customers if we see each other in the market at the right time. I try to keep an eye out for them, though sometimes strangers offer decent coin for my better catches and I just can't refuse!" The otter grinned to herself at the thought. "What about you? Do you have repeats?"

Astra shrugged and shot Selva a smile. "Nonsense, you gave me time to escape even if you just threw a dagger." The ranger was being honest. The wampus was distracted by the the woman's dagger long enough to let the half-elf escape. Astra appreciated the merchant's help and couldn't help but wonder what would've happened to her without the woman's help. Turning her attention back towards their conversation, the half-elf pushed the thoughts aside.
"I'd appreciate the company. I have some things to do first, and as you said you don't have space in your cart now. So perhaps you get set up where and we can meet back up later. Of course that's only if you want to." Astra didn't want the woman to do more than she wanted. She had done plenty already for the ranger. At the mention of wolf meat, the woman wrinkled her nose.
"That's fair. How many people are selling things like that anyway? Most know meat like that's not worth it, but I suppose some are just curious."

(Sorry for taking long to reply, I'm trying to get my newest rp started xD No luck yet though x3)
Selva nodded at the idea to meet up later. "I don't see why not. Let's go ahead and do that." She then chuckled as Astra mentioned the wolf meat. "Whether people admit or not, they like the unusual. Love it even. The thought of the unknown peaks their interest, be it a creature or food. Pure curiosity, like you said. However, not many people sell it either, mostly because you don't exactly go hunting for wolves. I only acquired it because it tried to attack me. Perhaps it had been desparate for food or something." She chuckled a little. "All I know is that if I were hungry enough, I'd eat anything I knew was even remotely edible, like wolf meat."
She then sighed. "Anyway, I best get going. I can get Fitz somewhere safer for a while, and meet back here later. I'll be out of my wares pretty soon. People always manage to buy me out." She looked at the elf to see if she agreed. "Maybe I'll save a few things for you to look through and pick, if you'd like. I'd let you look now, but I'd hate to keep you from whatever it is you need to do!"
