Dakota nodded. He then laid all the way back and rested the back of his head on his palms. “This is much better since no one is hereto bother us.”

Nim nodded in agreement and joked "We should've come here first!" He smiled softly at Dakota. "I already feel much better because now people have to knock and can't just barge in."

Dakota nodded, “Yeah, but we shouldn’t stay here the whole time we’re staying in the mortal realm. Even though it would be peaceful.”

Nim smiled a little at Dakota. "Of course. Doesn't mean we can't retreat here every now and then though. I don't really mind where we spend time together though, as long as you're there of course."

Nim blushed deeply at that, looking away shyly. "You're too kind," he said sheepishly. Dakota always managed to make him smile though.

Nim went to settle on his back, sighing contentedly as he looked up at the sky. "It feels good to finally not have to worry about Olgrin for a while." Though there was still his army of course.

Nim smiled a little. "And it'll only get worse from here. At least for a while." He knew the mortals would hold out though. That didn't stop him from routing for them though.

Nim sniffed. "It never really is peaceful here, because all these creatures became aware. Smart. Well, smarter anyway. Perhaps this "reality check" will do them some good."

Nim tilted his head. "Neither. It's like... accessing a book, only the pages are images. That's the simplest way to put it, though there are countless books, countless pages and then some. I just... know where I want to look. It's entirely subconscious how I search through them at this point. This all could be learned, but it would take ages to get the hang of. I suppose I was able to because I had prowess in such magic."
