Scaws and Pyre soon settled down and they cuddled into their mother under her gentle love.
Drake nodded slowly as he continued to eat. Just like Mysha said, the longer they waited the more soldiers the enemy got. "Should we try making the chains tonight?" He suggested.

Mysha nodded. "Yes. And it either works or it doesn't." All they had been told was that they needed the blood and fire, so that was what they were going off of. "I just hope that nut is right about all of this. I don't want us to have to go to war that'll essentially be suicide for us." Looking away, she went back to her food, trying to collect herself.

Later on in the day, Shard was still curled around his family, instinctively defending them against the world of danger that lurked around them. He watched half-asleep as his sons napped quietly by their mother's belly.
Drake was sitting in the room they made their decisions in, the 'throne room' if you will, whittling a branch out of boredom.

Mysha had been discussing what would be done about the dragons, and eventually was ready to go through with the plan. Motioning for Drake, Rhayne and Beta to follow her, she had gotten up. Ligach trotting after them, Mysha led the way outside and to where their dragons were staying. Ma'ait looked at her suspiciously as her rider said "Okay, we need to try and see if our original plan even works."

Shard protectively curled tighter around his children, glaring at his rider and his wife in distrust. He let out low, warning growls to tell the humans to stay back.
Drake stood beside Mysha, letting her talk. This was only going to work with cooperation between all those involved.

AshLightning(I'd like to, yes. After this plot things can maybe be more laid back. I would think that the new plot would be in a separate place anyway. Another section of the world, you know? So they don't get dragged in xD)

Shard continued to glare at the humans, but eventually relented. He got up to his paws and then turned to his children and warbled to them to get on his back, laying his tail down and watched as Pyre and Scaws immediately complied.
Drake watched, noticing Shard's odd behavior of having his children ride on his back. This was gonna be trickier than they thought.

Mysha watched the three younglings climb onto Shard, though she noticed one of them was missing. Hm. She didn't think much of it, glancing at her own dragon. Ma'ait made a chirping noise, seeming to approve of what Shard was doing. Ugh. Looked like this was going to be more difficult. Looking around, she waited to see what Shard was going to do before acting herself.
