He trilled.” Yes, thank you.” He answered. But jumped up when the sound came, but he made sure wisp went down slowly. He snarled and stood in front of wisp.
Ametish looked up to see many pairs of eyes, he slithered towards it. Snarling ametish stood up tall.” What do you want?” Said the hydra.

He jumped in surprise as the dragon took on a fighting stance, stumbling back a few steps and catching himself against a tree before he was able to fall. Uprighting himself once again, Kodiak thought about what to do. He'd never been in a situation such as this, and it was quite terrifying. Once he decided on what to do, the young man removed his hand from the sword's handle and held both hands out in front of him in a non-threatening gesture.

Wisp looked around wildly as the heads popped out of nowhere. She blinked as her mate stood over her and she smiled, liking how protective he was.
“You’re in our territory.” Came the voice of most of the heads in unison, particularly many female voices. “And we’re hungry for a snack.”
The dragon watched, confused as to why the human put down his sword and tried to advance. He growled and snapped his jaws at the man, clearly still feeling threatened.

“Look somewhere else, this is ours.” Said all the male heads in union. The one female head hissed.” Back off.” The rest of the heads, all males, mocked the other hydras movement.
Storm, head close to the ground, teeth bared, and wings spread, snarled even louder. Sparks cracking wildly.

Kodiak took a step back, his hands shaking without him even noticing. In all honesty, the young man was quite nervous. He'd never even imagined of attempting such a thing. Taking a deep breath, he tried to calm the young dragon down.
"Sorry for trying to hurt you, I thought you were going to harm me. Can I come closer?"

Ocean’s face seemed to light up at that fact. “Really?” He said, more out of surprise than skepticism, and he couldn’t help but slowly walk by the mural, trying to take in every detail as they walked along. It was all so unique and interesting! "Yes though some of them have faded but at least this never faded," Amanda said as she walked as she pushed some hanging moss to reveal a big hidden valley. |

The many heads, apparently mostly female, all snarled back and many of the mouths began to glow as they charged up fireballs. "Who said this was your territory? You appear to be drifters, and are trying to take our territory."
Wisp stayed close to her mate, watching with scared, wild eyes.
The dragon growled loudly, backing up. It opened it's mouth and made a series of sounds that almost sounded like a verbal "NO" in the human tongue.
Ocean continued to follow the female pair, still staring in wonder. However, as the valley was revealed his eyes only got wider and he gasped. "Oh my...." He breathed.

The valley was filled with many different colored dragons along with the village in the middle.

"There's so many dragons out in the open!" Ocean said as he walked along with Amanda and Scarlet. He then saw the village and he smiled. "Is that where you and the others live?" He asked, trying to see all that was going on.

The heads began to close in. “Peace huh? Threatening us isn’t exactly peaceful!” They all said. Suddenly another voice rang out, this one male. “Oh just stop all of you!” All the female heads seemed to flinch at the voice and they slowly retreated before a Hydra revealed itself, a bunch of heads just like Ametish. “Sorry, we just like toying with visitors.” The male head said.
Wisp blinked as the heads all retracted and she slowly uncurled, looking at her mate. “W-well then...” she muttered.

The male head eyed her and bent over to be near her. “Hey, we weren’t going to attack you or the other two. Especially the pregnant one.” He said, looking at the female head and slowly moving his head around to look the female head over.
Wisp smiled a little and she snuggled into her mate. “They’re so much alike...” she whispered to Storm.

The Hydra shrugged their shoulders and each head started to curiously examine the other heads of the other Hydra. “Eh, we don’t really know. We just like having fun. And going on adventures.” The male said, while one of the female heads curiously sniffed at one of the male heads and gave it a quick cheek lick.
Wisp grinned a little and watched the interaction, lightly leaning on her mate and holding her belly with her tail and paws.

Amanda said as she waved at a few villagers near a field who were harvesting and plowing with dragons help dig out the tough rocks and hard soil. |

The two lead hydra’s backed off and went to lay down. Some curious heads peeked out of the bushes.

The male head laid his head near the female, trying to sleep as well. Some of the female heads started to investigate and nudge the male heads of the other Hydra, getting curious and a bit playful.
Wisp continued to snuggle with her mate, watching the interactions.

"What do you mean you're shocked," Amanda asked stopping to look at him. One of the dragons working the field a dark brown scale color looked at Ocean and sniffed the air and lets out a low roar loud enough for many of the dragons to look.

Ocean looked over as the dragon growled at him and he backed up a step. “I-I-I just... I’ve grown up in a world where dragons are feared and made the aggressors. It’s a lot to take in...” he murmured, a little put off by all the dragons looking at him.
When the dragon growled and shifted away all the heads backed off and shuffled back a bit, laying down their heads.
Wisp snuggled into her mate, licking him softly. “Well that was interesting.”

Later, the new Hydra slowly woke up and looked around. The female head ms all seemed to look towards the male heads of the other Hydra, while their own male counterpart just glanced around.
Wisp was napping with her mate, snuggled into his scales and pressing her head into him.
