Hey! I really want to roleplay with someone, I'm super bored.
I love history and I also would love to do plots based on Harry Potter or I even have plots based on Hamilton and Les Miserables.
I would prefer an RP partner who can do 10 lines of roleplay. If you're interested, let me know!

(Hey! It's kay x So you wanna do a HP roleplay instead? That's cool x
So are you thinking of setting it at the time of Harry and the others or more at the time of his children? I love the idea of the children of some of the original characters interacting)

(Okay, if you're okay with doing that generation. Yeah I mean the children don't have to be canon, they could be ocs. I just loved the idea of some sort of interaction between like a Malfoy and a Potter/Weasley/whatever or something. If we did a romance it's like a Romeo and Juliet story)

(Yup, both choices totally fine with me x I'm going to use one of the children of Ron and Hermione - Hugo Granger-Weasley. He's canon but I'm not keeping his personality and I'm not including any of the events of Cursed Child. Basically I'm just keeping the name and nothing else)

It wasn't heard for people to guess the name of the redheaded boy headed down the hallway to his Potions class. A Gryffindor and a redhead? He had to be a Weasley. More specifically, Hugo Granger-Weasley.
Hugo was tall and lanky like his father had been as a teenager, and he had red hair. His face, however, showed that he was his mother's son. His face had hints of Hermione Granger to the extent that the Herbology teacher, Professor Longbottom, had been heard to comment on Hugo's resemblance to his parents. The young man was currently in his fifth year at Hogwarts.
He was somewhat grateful for this year. It was the year that his sister and most of his cousins would be leaving Hogwarts. His older sister, Rose, shared a class with Albus Potter. Then there was James Sirius Potter, who had already left. Hugo shared a class with only two cousins now. Lily Luna Potter and Fred Weasley II, the son of George Weasley.
Fred's name served as a constant reminder of the loss suffered at the Battle of Hogwarts, which was a constant struggle for Hugo. He and his cousins were popular and got a lot of attention, and Hugo was a shy boy. This attention was unwanted. Especially since he couldn't stand up to the rest of his family. His sister, Rose, had Hermione's intelligence. Albus and Lily Potter were both stars of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, as good at flying as their parents. James Potter had been Head Boy and was now an auror. Fred Weasley II was just as popular as his father and uncle had been, always causing mischief but never getting in trouble for it because everyone liked him. And Hugo didn't have any special talents at all. He was decent at Defence Against the Dark Arts, sure, but apart from that all he had inherited was his father's skill at wizard chess.
He was going to be late for class, he was sure of it. He hurried down the halls, ignoring the mutterings of the portraits on the walls.

Caster really, truly, honestly hated going to school. Being at home wasn't much better, but was only marginally better. A Malfoy who didn't make it into Slytherin? Ha. Caster was practically a disgrace. Father tried to be supportive of his endeavors, but the disappointment was still there and he hated that unspoken tension that filled the air, and was well aware that his older brother, Scorpius and his twin, Pollux, held higher standing in the family house than he did. It made Caster shrink into himself even more to think about that. Scorpius had been the prefect, even with their soiled name it was hard to deny the boy that right, and he'd ended up working with father after he graduated. Pollux? He was his polar opposite. He was co.cky, arrogant, and always expected himself to be successful. He had the "fake it till you make it" attitude, really. Of course Pollux was different around Caster, a little bit more softer around the edges and protective. The two had always been close, Caster had always been his brothers shadow. At least until they went to school and Caster was sorted into Ravenclaw. His thirst for knowledge and intellect got in his way of his rithlessnes, although the famed Malfoy attitude did come out of the boy every now and then. But, after he was sorted into a different house they drifted apart. Pollux was still fiercely protective, straight out fighting anyone who threatened him, but they often didn't see each other. Pollux spent his time in the Quidditch fields, and, altough people were wary of him because of their father and grandfather, he seemed to have made a few friends through his ability to sport- or his athletism if he were to use the actual name for it.
For Caster that was not the case. The other Ravenclaws didn't trust him, always leaving him out of things in fear that he'd... he did t know, be mean or cheat or something. They just didn't like him, and, honestly, they could be pretty nasty themselves. Not only that but hewas smaller than his brother, who was 5"9' and rather athletically built. Caster was 5"8 and looked rather sickly and young compared to his brothers. People often thought he was a third year. Pollux had lightly tanned skin, his pale hair cut close and he was lightly muscled, looking like an athlete. Caster was thin, borderline underweight with pale skin and his hair was just long enough to look like it was out of control. Not to mention he had glasses, while Pollux did not. See? Polar opposites. The only thing they shared were their fathers grey eyes. And they had the tendency to talk at the same time, and had the weird twin mind reading thing, but they kept that to themselves.
He'd been scurrying to his next class, running late for advanced potions when he slammed into someone else, yelping in alarm as their books mixed with each other's.
"Omygosh im so sorry," he blurted out, dropping to the floor.

Hugo wasn't sure whether he hadn't been paying attention to where he was walking or whether the other student was at fault, but the Gryffindor boy found himself bumping into a boy, only getting a flash of blond hair and grey eyes before Hugo, too, was bending down to separate the books and grab the ones that was his.
The blonde hair and grey eyes told him it was one of the Malfoy twins, and for a split second he feared he had bumped into Pollux, the more athletic and aggressive o the twins. But he caught a bit of blue on the uniform and he realised it was Caster, the quieter twin who was much less likely to beat Hugo up. Hugo hadn't had much experience with the twins but his sister had known Scorpius Malfoy, who had hated Rose because of the Granger-Weasley name and still carried the old Malfoy attitude. From what Hugo could gather, Pollux was much the same. He wasn't sure about Caster, though.
Hugo's parents had warned him to keep away from the Malfoys, with his father being particularly adamant about it. And who could blame him? Hugo's Uncle Harry had told him that Ron had been the most aggressive toward Draco Malloy, who had bullied him because the Weasley family had been poor, even before Draco's father had killed Ron's brother. Hug had never met his Uncle Fred but he might as well have, since Uncle George didn't go a day without mentioning him.
But Hugo had seen Caster being ostracised by the Ravenclaws. He didn't even seem to have as much of a place in his own family; Hugo had noticed that Caster didn't get mail owls nearly as often as Pollux. So why be rude?
"Oh, it's okay, it was my fault," Hugo responded as he finished picking up his books "I guess you're headed to potions too? Might as well walk together. I guess we both know who each other are but we've never properly introduced ourselves, have we? Hugo Granger-Weasley"

The flash of red sent Caster into a panic. Crap. It was one of the Granger-Weasleys, the younger one, Hugo he thought his name was. His stomach twisted at the thought of having a run in with one of them- he'd had a good handful of bad experiences with his sister, Rose, and the Potters and he didn't want any trouble for the time being. He grabbed his respective things, bracing himself for whatever rude comment was about to be thrown at him. He'd been bullied enough to know when to brace himself, even though it never made it that much easier. It just made him think that it would.
Of course when he actually heard the kind comment he was thrown off guard and his walls went up. He narrowed his eyes almost suspiciously before standing and following the other. Why was he being so nice? Was this some kind of cruel trick or something? He would be surprised if it was. It had happened before, it could happen again. He wasn't going to let it happen again, that was a mistake he'd made in the past. He would stick with his brother and then figure out what he'd do for his career later on. It's not like he'd be able to get any decent jobs with his last name.
"Oh. I guess we haven't. I'm Caster. I didn't realize you were in the potions class with me," he admitted sheepishly. His nose had always been in his books, so he could honestly say he could name four people in his class, those who sat around him.

"Oh," Hugo commented "that's because I let everyone fawn over Lily and Fred and sit as far away from them as possible."
Hugo loved his cousins, of course, but the both of them could be a touch arrogant and they both really liked the attention that the rest of the students did. Hugo... attention like that embarrassed Hugo and made him feel uncomfortable. He was too shy, totally not cut out for being a relative of the golden trio. Even his bookish sister Rose was loud and funny and popular.
Hugo didn't want to say he was jealous of his sister, but he sort of was. Rose was intelligent and sociable. Very popular. Their mother favoured Rose over Hugo, the boy was sure, because of her academic achievement. Ron did have a soft spot for his son, but what Hugo truly wanted was to be able to deal with attention like Rose did. Of course he didn't let his jealousy get in the way of things. He loved his sister dearly, and being jealous didn't make him any smarter or more outgoing.
The Malfoy boy seemed wary of him but nothing more. Hugo had been expecting to see a touch of the classic Malfoy hubris, but he didn't. He supposed he might be different from his siblings, being the first Malfoy to be sorted into Ravenclaw.

Caster hummed at that explanation, a hesitant amusement flickering on his features. He'd done the same exact thing the first few years, when he and his brothers shared a few classes. Now that they were older and took more specialized courses they didn't see each other much, but he still remembered doing the same thing, letting Pollux sap up the positive attention from the rare pure blood family that had family that were death eaters too, and deflect the negative from the haters. He was the one who proved himself quickly. Even though he had the same Malfoy attitude his charisma around his housemates seemed to make him less hated.
"I've done that before too. Well, o mean, I still sat next to Lux, but he was the one who got all the attention. Positive or negative." He explained, more for the sake of conversation than anything. He could feel his glasses sliding slightly down his nose and he scowled at that, scrunching up his nose and wiggling it to push them back up without a problem.
The Ravenclaw paused when they neared the dungeons, knowing that they were close to the advanced potions class. Honestly if it weren't for Hugo's cousins he'd absolutely adore it and it'd be his favorite class. He excelled in potion making, his eidetic memory helping him remember the instructions with ease and he'd spent countless night staying up and rewriting the instructions to make the potions more potent. He was the top student, and the prifessor had even begun to warm up to him a little bit, and this year assigned him to be his assistant of sorts after school, where he was to be sorting out potions ingredients and writing down the corrections that the teacher had made on the board for the first years for the lesson the next day. He liked doing it, the job gave him some sort of a purpose at the school, even though the professor had yet to make actual small talk with him. His name seemed to taint everything he touched.
"You can go in before me. Don't want to be caught talking with me," Caster said with a small, forced chuckle. The bookish young man leaned against the wall, looking a little tired like he often did. Honstly, because of Hugo's cousins he really didn't want to go to the class but he knew he had to. He'd have to toughen it out for the time being, wait for one of his other classes where the teacher genuinely gave the odd Malfoy a chance. Like the Caring for Magical Creatures class, which was his favorite. He was always able to work with the creatures away from the others. Plus he was good with creatures, able to give them a firm handling. He loved classes like that and Potions, where there was a specific goal and you knew what to do, unlike Divination, which he dropped after the first week.

Hugo had smiled when Caster had admitted to doing the same. Perhaps this kid wasn't bad at all. Maybe they had something in common?
"Oh, I mean, you don't have to wait, we can..." Hugo had began but he quickly realised that the other boy probably wouldn't let up on this topic and stepped inside first.
He gave the teacher a quick apology for getting there a little late, and looked to try and take his usual seat, on the opposite side of the classroom to his cousins, who were great friends and usually sat together.
A quick glance, though, told him that Lily and Fred were arguing, because Lily was occupying Hugo's usual seat and was shooting the occasional dirty look at Fred. She was still in her Quidditch kit, presumably from a last-minute practice. Each cousin still had classmates fighting to sit near them. There were only two free seats now, close to the back of the room.
"Oh, Hugo, come sit next to me, I'll get someone to move!" Fred shouted across the room over the heads of a rowdy group of Gryffindors.
"Uh, I'm fine, thanks, Fred" Hugo responded shyly and stating to move to the back. He didn't want to sit next to Fred.
"Quite right, Mr Granger-Weasley. You cannot be late and then disrupt my class. You'll take your seat. Mr Weasley, please quiet that gang of baboons around you. You too, Miss Potter." intoned the Potions teacher.
The Potions teacher was firm but fair. They didn't much appreciate Hugo's cousins, though.
So Hugo moved to the back of the class and took one of the two adjacent seats, knowing Caster would likely be following him inside in a minute. Oh well, Hugo didn't mind, Caster didn't seem bad. And Hugo was used to people whispering about everything he did anyway.
It wasn't like Hugo had any reputation to uphold, anyway. He wasn't a Quidditch player or a genius or the most popular kid at school. Lily Potter was the best Seeker since her father and Albus Potter was the Quidditch captain and Head Boy. They were people who couldn't afford to hang around with Malfoy. But Hugo could, because he was the least interesting. Until he got into a Defense Against the Dark Arts class, where he could never escape the attention.

Caster blinked, again surprised at the odd kindness of this kid. How come he didn't care about being seen with a Malfoy, who, because of his brothers attitudes, still weren't liked at the school. It was either this was actually a really decent guy, or his cousins put him up to it and he still wasn't really sure which one it was, but he was hoping it was the former. He could really use a friend.
Caster started to make his way downwards to the potions class before hesitating.
He really, really didn't want to go down there. He'd be going in there late, which he never did. He was always early. Caster lived by the motto "early is on time, on time is late, and late is never acceptable," so this was a first for him. He didn't know if he could handle the stares. The bookish younf man never handled attentikn well, even if it wasn't wary, and sometimes downright hateful, stares of his fellow students. He debated skipping out, saying that he had fallen ill, which wouldn't be too far fetched.
He'd always been sickly, he was actually on a first name basis with the witch in the infirmary now because of how often he'd end up therewith fevers, allergic reactions (he always forgot he had a peanut allergy!) and other sicknesses, especially because he had bad lungs. He heard some of the muggle borns call it "asthma", and he had to drink potions in an attempts to keep it under control. He still had an inhaler, though, for emergencies. Yet Caster knew he couldn't cop out and say that. He'd just have to toughen up. Sighing he walked down the stairs, listening to the echo his footsteps created.
The youngest Malfoy slunk into the classroom, looking like a child about to be chastised, his shoulders slumped a little forward, hoping to be able to get in during Fred's yelling. Of course he wasn't that lucky and ended up coming in right after Hugo sat down. So all eyes snapped to the sickly boy, who, surprisingly, jutted out his chin at that moment in a true Malfoy fashion. He made his way to the seat, surprised to see Hugo sitting next to him.
"I expect the both of you to be more punctual in the future. I'll let you off with a warning this time, but be late again and points will be deducted," the teacher warned gruffly and Caster gave a small nod before pulling out his textbook and squinting at the board, reading which potion it would be today. Huh. That one seemed fairly easy. He flipped through the pages, before finding it. It was a basic shapeshifting potion, not unlike the Polyjuice potion. His page for the potion was filled with his meticulous handwriting, marking out things and adding other ones in.

At the chastising of the teacher, Hugo gave a hurried nod before grabbing his own Potions textbook and flipping to the appropriate page. Hmm...this didn't seem as difficult as some of the other potions they'd been studying for their O.W.Ls.
Hugo wasn't as good at Potions as he was at other subjects, but he was so far getting an Acceptable (at least) in every subject. His father said this was all he needed. His mother pointed out that Rose had gotten all Outstanding in her O.W.Ls. In Potions he was usually flitting between the grades of Acceptable and Exceeds Expectations. It looked like today he would be getting an Exceeds Expectations, since this was an easy potion.
He happened to glance over at Caster's book and saw that the other boy had changed the recipe for the potion somewhat.
"Wow," Hugo commented quietly as he began to set up the cauldron between them - Potions was always done in pairs "You really love Potions, don't you? I don't know what half of those extra ingredients you've added do."
He looked up as he heard a bang - Fred had added something to his potion to make it explode. Fred was a smart boy (it took a smart person to be able to make an exploding potion) but he didn't put his mind to classwork. Much like Uncle George and his twin had done.
Hugo rolled his eyes but looked back at the potion, first busying himself with getting the ingredients that were present in both Caster's version of the recipe and the textbook's. They would do it Caster's way, since he seemed to know what he was doing, but procuring the ingredients in Caster's recipe may be a little more difficult. He suspected Caster knew where to get them, likely having his own stores with these rare ingredients.
He could already sense the class looking at the two, and he sensed some death glares from his cousins. That's okay. He wouldn't care even if they told to his parents. Hugo could care less about his attention-seeking cousins.

"Hm? Oh, yeah. I really like this class," he explained quietly, seeming to shrink into himself at the attention he was getting. Caster was much like a wild animal when scared, he'd both make himself smaller and lash out. He was glaring coolly back at Hugo's cousins, actually looking like a Malfoy as he did so.
He'd always excelled in his course work, and his O.W.Ls proved that much. The lowest he'd gotten was a grade that was just on the cusp, almost an exceeds expectations, but he managed to pull through with an Outstanding instead. Well, besides divination but he didn't count that because he dropped the class for a reason.
The white-blonde teen jumped a little at the explosion, sending Fred a rather irritated glance as he did so.
Caster fixed his glasses, ignoring the few nasty comments that had already been thrown his way, taking note of what his potions partner had already gotten. It looked like he only grabbed the ingredients that were in both the textbook and in Casters corrections. That's good, he seemed to be willing to try it Casters way.
"The Aconite Fluid just makes the potion more potent, it will yield a stronger result because we used it. I also just prefer using Bat Spleen in quite a few of my corrections because it seems to help hold the mixture together better. The African chilli peppers are just so they taste better," he explained, pulling out some of the extra ingredients.
"I've added Bdelium as well only because it seems to yield specific results, and cat whiskers because, hey, it's a shape shifting potion. Who wouldn't want to be a cat?" He asked, letting out a soft chuckle at his own joke as he checked the measurements. He frowned for a moment, realizing he didn't have any bat spleen and got up. He made his way to the stores, and then slipped to the very back area, pushing around a few jars before he found what he needed and returned with the bat spleen, picking his way through the students.

At the other's joke, Hugo chuckled too and replied "My mother"
He was, of course, referring to the famous incident involving some botched polyjuice potion. Hermione had been stuck as a cat for ages. Hugo easily made a joke out of it; it was a funny story told at all of the family gatherings.
Once all of the extra ingredients were there, Hugo began preparing some, following Caster's written instructions and leaving Caster to prepare the other ingredients, knowing they'd get through this faster if they shared tasks between them like this. It was much more efficient. He was still allowing Caster to take the lead, though, since it was his recipe.
One of Fred's friends was clearly a little annoyed that Hugo and Caster were working together because he sent a sneaky jinx their way. Nothing meant to harm them but just a prank.
Hugo had seen the other raising his wand and Hugo had whipped his wand out to respond.
"Protego" Hugo had said calmly, not even blinking as the boy received his own jinx and his face broke out in boils. He deserved it.
"Hugo! What do you think you're doing?" Fred hissed "Hanging out with a Malfoy and then jinxing Ben?!"
"I think you'll find it was his spell, Fred, I just used protego," Hugo responded "And perhaps now he'll think twice before using such an unpleasant spell."
"I'm telling Uncle Ron and Aunt Hermione about this!"
"Go on, I dare you."
Hugo then blocked out his angry cousin and the teacher saying there would be five points from Gryffindor for each of them (Hugo, Fred and Ben) for using spells and being disrupted. Ben left for the hospital wing. Hugo continued work on the potion.
