(No, it's fine, cos again I was vague and didn't specify x Um well in spring-time it's generally still a little bit cold and you get bits of light rain. Basically a weird hybrid of the slightly warm and sunny British summer and the rainy, wet, cold British winters. It's slightly warm and drizzly with patches of sunshine x)

Caster had actually been looking forward to their next break off of school. His father had written him a letter, stating that his grandparents were not attending any Easter festivities, so he would be welcome home. He'd been so excited, and for a good three days it was all he could talk to Hugo about during their secret meetings, which, yes, they still had. They decided not to let Fred scare them, and, surprisingly, there wasn't any problems coming from him. He was staying quiet, for the most part. So he'd been optimistic, when he followed Pollux out of Hogwarts with his head held high, a strange new confidence coming from him. The first few days were peaceful, not as tense as they usually were. He got to see Scorpius, and spent a lot of time iwht his father, and even just little bit with his mother as well. He actually thought he'd have a decent time, that he could go back to Hogwarts with some fantastic memories.
Of course all good things come to an end. That morning- it was the fourth day of their holiday- Caster had woken up with a fever, so he knew that it was going to be a sucky day. He'd muddled through it, until an owl came, with a letter addressed to his parents, and thats when all hell broke loose. Apparently it was a letter detailing Casters relationship with Hugo, and how they'd become incredibly close, even hinting that there was more going on than just a friendship- which there wasn't. Not that Caster would mind if there was something else going on, but he was fairly sure that Hugo was straight so he just tried to push any of those thoughts away. No need to get his hopes up for something that wouldn't happen, even though the growing crush was difficult to suppress. Anyways. His mother was more angry than his father, and he'd ended up being screamed at four hours, and Caster tried to argue back, and that ended up with plates being thrown at him, and in the end he'd been told to pack his bags, leave and never come back. Apparently it was bad enough to have a Ravenclaw in the family, but it was unacceptable for his mother to have someone who was friends with a one of the golden trios children, and that he talked back. His father seemed to not have much of a problem with it- he was wary, but his opinion was it was Casters choice. He'd given Caster the key to his Gringots bank, and said to give his mother time. And then he was kicked out into the rainy day, still feeling sick and burning up with a fever.
He'd been wandering for a good hour now, and he was soaking wet, his white hair stained pink now from the gash on his forehead, wearing a button up t-shirt and black slacks, tugging along his trunk. His chest was starting to hurt now, tightening up and he knew that he'd have to find a place to sit down. He didn't want to have an asthma attack in the middle of no where, and he saw a house nearby. It was still a good ten minutes away, but he could see it and he thought he could make it if he continued walking. He trudged along in the chilly drizzle, not even realizing who's house it was, just trying to find somewhere he could sit down, away from all the dust being kicked up by the rain. By the time he'd made it to the front porch he could barely breath, feeling like he was breathing through a straw as he knocked on the door, hoping someone was there.
(What if Fred answered the door omg)

(Better idea XD Rose is going to answer the door. I'm going to start trying to soften Fred a bit because I kind of hate him at the moment and I don't wanna hate him because I know he's a sweetie really, really, really deep down)
The Easter holidays had been passing relatively smoothly for Hugo. He had been spending time with the entire family, since their house wasn't far from.the burrow and Hugo's cousins mainly came and went as they pleased. Hugo had seen all of the Potters and Weasleys and his parents had completely seemed to have forgotten about the whole thing with Hugo.
That was when the doorbell rang.
Rose went to answer the door, looking in speechless shock at the figure on the doorstep. This was the last person she expected to see on the doorstep.
"Uh..." began Rose, bewildered before shouting over her shoulder into the hallway "Fred! What have you done now? You must have something to do with this!"
The redhead left as Fred appeared in the doorway. He looked at Caster and was clearly about to come out with some mean remark but he took in the boy, soaking wet and with a cut on his forehead, and stepped aside to let him inside, face softening.
"Uh...wow. I...didn't quite expect...I'll get Hugo" Fred murmured, flushing slightly with guilt but turning to his the blush as he left to find Hugo.
Hugo appeared moments later, looking concerned as he pulled his friend in for a hug.
"Oh, Caster, what happened? Well, I can guess what happened, but... I'm so sorry. I'm going to kill Fred, don't you worry" Hugo murmured.
A group of people were poking their heads around doors. Mainly Hugo's cousins.
A dark-haired man with a distinctive lightning scar was ushering the children back into their respective rooms as a golden-haired woman and her redheaded husband - Hugo's parents - hurried into the hallway.

Caster didn't expect that he'd knocked on the door of one of Hugo's relatives, and could recognize Rose through the drops on his glasses. He swallowed nervously, about to back away and try to find somewhere else to go to, his breaths coming out in weak wheezes.
He definitely tried to backpedal when he saw Fred, terrified that he'd be kicked out or something, but he actually went off to find Hugo. Another surprise to add to his list for the day. He shifted anxiously, seeing all the heads poke out and the young Malfoy wanted to stumble off and escape all the stairs, but at this point he couldn't breath barely and he doubted that he could make it any further down the streetZ
He felt himself be pulled into a hug, recognizing the others arms quickly. Caster was a huggy person when it came down to it, so he'd hugged- and been hugged by- Hugo plenty of times at this point.
"I-its nothing. I should probably go... I d-didn't know this was a family house," he managed to wheeze as he pulled away, his trunks still at the entrance of the house. His face was looking a little red now, clearly uncomfortable at the fact that he'd managed to find a relatives house.

"Nonsense, you can't go back out there, you'll freeze."
To Hugo's suprise, it hadn't been him who had spoken, but his mother. Hugo's eyes widened as he turned to look at his mother. Even Ron was looking at his wife in shock.
"Hermione, dear..." Ron was saying "Can we really...I mean..."
"Ronald Billius Weasley, this boy is freezing to death and wheezing like there's no tomorrow. We cannot turn him away. No, I'm putting my foot down here. Will you please get Albus, James and Fred to carry Caster's things to a spare room and help Harry, George and Ginny herd the others into another room? Hugo and I will bring Caster into the living room to warm up. Hugo, please locate his inhaler."
Hugo did as hd was told and everyone set to work. Soon Hugo was handing Caster his inhaler as they sat in front of the fire in the living room. Hermione had cleaned up Caster's cut.
"Caster," Hermione had begun "I'm aware that our families are not over-kind to eachother, but I simply couldn't turn away someone in such a state as you were, I'd feel simply terrible. What happened? Do you have somewhere to go?"
Ron was leaning against the wall, looking somewhat unhappy about this. Harry was tending to the fire and even George had made the briefest of appearances as he brought a towel to help dry Caster. He didn't make eye contact with Caster. But one couldn't tell whether this was a bad thing because he didn't make eye contact with anyone.

"N-no, I couldn't a-ask you to let me in," he protested, just as shocked as the rest of them that she actually was telling him to go inside. Yet his protests seem to have fallen onto deaf ears, and he found his inhaler in his hands as he was pulled along into a living room with a nice, warm fire and he was sat down. There he finally used his inhaler, and after a good ten minutes he could actually breath. He rubbed his chest, wincing at the discomfort as he started to fade.
It was throwing him off guard, how the woman was actually using Casters name. He wasn't used to that. The only people who called him by his first name was his family and Hugo, everyone else spat out his last name, like it was poison and that's what he typically had to respond to.
He flinched a little as Hermione worked on his cut. He forced down a small whimper, the sting hurting more than he expected it to. He tried to keep quiet, his tiny body shaking in the after effects of being out in the cold for so long. He clutched the towel that someone had given him- the man hadn't looked him in the eye, and Caster had a sneaking suspicion that the man was George, Fred's father.
Caster glanced around, a little uncomfortable with all the adults in the room as he took off his glasses and cleaned them off so he could actually see, before putting them back on. He looked around the room, noticing the man that was leaning on the wall. He thought that was Ron, if he could remember the names correctly, so that meant the woman in front of her was Hermione. Hugo's parents.
He fidgeted at the question, his features pinching up nervously as he slunk down into the chair that he was forced to sit in.
"N-nothing happened. I-I was just passing through, and th-the dust was aggravating my asthma, s-so I knocked on the first house I saw," he lied quickly, not wanting to throw his mother under the bus, even though she did just throw him out of the house without so much as a second glance. He didn't look at Hermione as he said this, always having been a terrible lier. (Girl you up late XD)

(Haha yeah well I'm feeling sick and I can't sleep when I feel that way. It's not because I'm a cool edgy night owl or anything XD But this is probs my last post)
"Just passing through...with cuts on your forehead and all of your luggage?" Hermione asked with a raised eyebrow "I'm sorry, Caster, but I'm afraid you'll have to tell me what really happened"
"Don't push him, Hermione," said Harry gently "He's clearly in some kind of trouble and he doesn't want to talk about it"
"Yes, Harry, but if he's in trouble we need to know," Hermione responded
"It's because of me."
All eyes turned to the doorway, where Fred looked very pale.
"I wrote a letter to the Malfoys...anonymously..." Fred began "and told them about how Hugo and Caster had been being really friendly. And I think this is my fault..."
"I knew it was you, Fred!" Hugo fumed "I swear to God!"
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Fred said, apologising hastily before a murderous-looking Hugo could approach him "There isn't an excuse. I must have gotten Mal-- Caster -- into big trouble with his parents. I didn't know that would happen. I'm sorry"
"Well, what did you expect the Malfoys to do?" Ron snapped but quelling looks from Hermione and Harry for him to add "Well, I mean, they weren't happy when they heard about it the first time. You shouldn't have pushed them, Fred."

(Oh dear! I'm sorry, I hope you feel better!)
Caster glanced up, looking almost sheepish as he did so. He fixed his glasses, shifting anxiously as he looked at Hermione. He pulled his hair into a mini pony tail, trying to keep it out of his face. He still didn't feel well, no doubt he had a fever still since he hadn't gotten a chance to let himself rest so it would break. He opened his mouth, but he didn't get the chance to speak. The dark haired man did, instead, and he slunk even deeper into his chair.
Then Fred came in, and he looked all pale faced and guilty, and Casters stomach dropped at the admission. So it was him who sent the letter. He was the one who ended up causing Caster to get kicked out of his home.
"I-its okay, Fred. " he tried, seeming to accept the boys apology. It wouldn't help him any if he kept a grudge against him, even though the admission clawed at his heart. Did he really hate Caster that much? He felt his chest tightening just a little bit again and he had to use his inhaler.
"My-uh, mother found the letter and she wasn't very.. happy about it," he explained, not really wanting to get into any specifics, but had a feeling that Hermione wouldn't let him go with just that answer.

"Your mother will talk to you about this when she has you this weekend," said Hermione to Fred, which caused the young man to look even paler but move out of the doorway. So much colour had drained from the boy's cheeks that his red freckles were as bright as embers.
It was the first mention of Fred's mother, Angelina Johnson. The woman, who had played on the Gryffindor team alongside George and his twin, had a very strong sense of fair play and wouldn't like to hear about this. Angelina and George had divorced a few years before but it was widely kept quiet and only those in the family knew that Fred's parents were not together. People didn't assume divorce anyway, since it was said that wizarding marriages were stronger than Muggle ones.
"Alright, Caster, I'm sorry Fred got you into so much trouble. We have a spare room here you can stay in; this is only the Granger-Weasley house but Hugo's cousins visit whenever they please, which is why the house is so crowded today. I can assure you that it's only myself, Ron, Rose and Hugo here." Hermione said with a smile
"Hermione," Ron asked "Can I talk with you for a moment?"
So Hugo and Caster were left with Harry, who had just resorted to magic to keep the fire going and was now busying himself with various odd jobs around the room. Harry was always more shy than people thought he would be.
"-Hermione, we simply can't let him stay-" Ron's faint voice murmured "-And why can't he stay?-" this was Hermione "-He's a Malfoy, and he's been hanging around with our boy-" replied Ron "Ron," Hermione could be heard to say "This boy is not Draco Malfoy. He has nowhere to go. You'd have to be cruel not to let him stay and give him a chance." "You're right," Ron sighed "but if anything happens this was all you idea." "Isn't it always?" Hermione chuckled
Back in the room, Hugo could very faintly hear his parents voices, and the tips of his ears flushed (just like Ron's used to) with frustration at his father. At least Hugo's mother had brought Ron around.

"Th-that's okay, Miss, I wouldn't want to be a bother," he tried to decline, shifting a little and playing absently with his inhaler.Caster seemed to sink lower into the chair, his own features turning a slight pink during the situation. He swallowed, but was fairly able to keep his embarassment of the situation under control. He frowned slightly at Hermiones words- just the smallest downturn of his lips, not only confused at the apology (why was someone other than Hugo being nice to him?), but at the comment of Fred going to his mothers. That meant they were likely to be divorced, something highly uncommon in the wizarding world. He watched Freds face drain of color and he looked at Hugo worriedly.
"He won't get in too bad of trouble, will he?" He asked quietly, the smallest amount of worry in his grey eyes. He leaned a little bit forward, his head tipped to one side. He shifted, before offering Hermione a small, tired smile in thanks, a little uncomfortable with the kindness. Henwas planning on staying at an inn tonight, and a muggle one at that to avoid any problems. His family was definitely the least liked in the wizarding world, so he'd been planning on slipping away from it all for awhile and stay in the muggle world. He'd been thinking about it for awhile, actually, and this getting kicked out would be a good chance to do this. Yet his asthma kicked in so he had to knock on someone's door. Which ended up being Hugo's family. Oh how strange fate worked.
He swallowed a little when Ron, Hugo's father, pulled the woman out of the room, and the comments he heard from the man was what hed been expecting all along. He scratched the back of his neck in discomfort, realizing that it was probably only Hugo and his mother who were even remotely comfortable having him around.
"I can really leave, Hugo, I don't want to cause any more trouble with your family..." he added, moving to stand up. Of course he'd have to find out where the guys took his luggage, but he could figure that out.
(Are ya feeling any better? Also I like the excuse!)

(Oh, yeah, thanks for asking, you're sweet to worry. I only had too much takeaway last night XD)
"Fred? No, he'll be okay I think. His mum has a strong sense of justice and fair play, no matter who it is. She doesn't have the grudge against your family so that's why my mum said that. He'll probably get in exactly as much trouble as he deserves. His mum is very fair." Hugo responded.
At the mention of Caster leaving, Hugo stood too and grabbed the other boy's wrist so he couldn't leave.
"No, don't go. You're not the one causing trouble here, my dad is. Even Fred isn't upset about you staying and my mum is fine with it. Besides, I'm sure my dad will come around. He will if my mum has anything to do with it. Besides, this family needs to learn that you're not evil." Hugo said.
"Hugo's right."
Harry had chimed in from where he was sitting across the room.
"At the Battle of Hogwarts, Voldemort asked Narcissa Malfoy whether or not I was dead. I was alive when Narcissa checked. She could have told him so and I would have been killed, but she lied and she saved my life. I'm not under any delusions that the Malfoys are not as evil as people think, but unfortunately Ron and his siblings are. I owe your family my life, Caster. You should stay. It will open the eyes of the Weasleys and it might help them move on. But, more than that, we'll know you're safe until you can go home."
Hugo cast a glance over at his uncle and then back over at his friend, trying to gauge how Caster would respond. He really wanted his friend to stay, so he knew he was safe and so he could spend time with the young Malfoy. He didn't want his friend to leave because his dad had made him feel unwelcome, that simply wasn't right.
(Sorry for length)

Caster seemed to relax a fraction at the reassurance that Fred wouldn't get in too much trouble, that he had a fair mum and for some reason that comforted him. He really didn't know why, Fred hadn't ever even said a kind word to him, so he should be wishhing the Weasley ill will, but he couldn't find any type of hatred in his heart, it just wasn't in the young Malfoys nature to do so.
Of course the blush returned slightly when the other grabbed his wrist, and he slowly sat down again, red creeping up from his neck as he did so. He fixed his glasses, frowning a little at Hugo's protests. Was it really just his dad who had a problem with it, or was he just saying that to keep him here? Caster truly couldn't tell this time around, sometimes social situations like these were difficult to read.
Then the dark haired man with the scar- one he could only assume to be the famed Harry Potter spoke up and Caster let out a soft squeak st the talking, his frown increasing at the story. He'd never heard of this one, never hearing this story from his Grandmother. Granted he didn't really ever hear of any stories from her, but that was besides the point. He would have thought his father would have talked about this at least once. But he never did, making this all the more confusing for the young Malfoy.
"I didn't know she did that," he admitted softly, seeming to relax a fraction, realizing he wasn't completely in enemy territory right now. He had at least one friend.

"Well, I can't imagine your father or your grandparents would have told you. Your grandmother asked me whether your father was alive and inside the castle. She saved my life but she only did so in order to get to your father. She probably couldn't have actually cared less whether I lived or not but what matters to me is how she was willing to try and lie to Voldemort, one of the most skilled legilimens ever, because she loved her son. But I don't believe your father and his parents are overly close, and even if they were Narcissa may fear that if anyone finds out she may be killed by someone whose family supported Voldenort." Harry replied "After all, it was this lie that ultimately led to Voldemort's defeat. Remember, Caster, that nothing I did after that moment matters. It's technically your grandmother who killed Voldemort, not me."
Hugo hadn't heard Harry talk in this much depth about the Battle of Hogwarts in quite some time. He didn't talk about what it had been like to be hit by the avada kadavra curse or about the deaths of his friends. This was surprising for him, hearing his Uncle talk about something like this with a boy who was basically a perfect stranger.
"Wow, Uncle Harry, you never told me this!" Hugo said
"Well, I've got too many stories to tell them all at once, Hugo" Harry responded with a cheeky smile

Caster felt his cheeks go a little pink again, surprised at Harry's view on the battle, or at least what he was telling him. Of course it was Harry who saved everyone, so why discredit his own actions? It didn't make sense to the young Malfoy, and his head was tipped to the side, clearly trying to figure the other man out. He remained quiet for a few moments, trying to mull this information over slowly.
"Thank you for telling me this," Caster finally said, knowing he had to say something. He jumped a little when he heard the door knocking again, not realizing it was his twin, Pollux at the door.
Caster didn't realize it, but he'd left both his epipen and his cat, Mr.Tibbles, back at home, and Oollux set off to find his twin so he could get both of them back. Mostly the epipen, but also Mr. Tibbles because the cat did not like Pollux, or Scorpius, or his mother so he was basically a terror at home when Caster wasn't around. He was currently standing outside, his face covered in the angry scratches of the dark grey cat who was howling angrily because he was stuck inside of a cage.

Hugo could see that Caster was a little bit confused by Harry, and he didn't blame him. Sometimes Uncle Harry was a bit of a mystery. But he supposed he understood where his Uncle was coming from. If Narcissa hadn't lied, Harry would have died and never killed Voldemort.
Then Hugo looked out into the hallway as the doorbell rang. Harry hadn't had time to respond to Hugo before the doorbell had rang. Who else was here? It was Fred who answered the door this time.
"Is this neighbourhood spawning Malfoys?" Fred asked incredulously as he took in Pollux before calling over his shoulder "Caster, it's your brother. He's...uh...holding a very angry cat?"
Hugo got up too and poked his head around the hallway, taking in the form of Pollux in the doorway as Caster went to answer the door. This was going to be interesting, to say the very least. He didn't know how Pollux would react to Caster staying here

"So my idiot brother is here," Pollux confirmed, a scowl on his features atnthe sight of Fred. Out of everyone in the school, Fred was his least favorite, mostly because of how he seemed to pick onnhis "younger" brother. Pollux could care less if he wasn't liked, he knew his attitude earned him quite a few enemies at the school, but Caster always kept to himself, kept out of trouble when he could.
When Fred called to him, saying his brother was here with a very angry cat he let out a groan. He couldn't grab Mr. Tibbles because he was outside wen he left. "Oh no, Mister Tibbles!" He yelped, suddenly realizing that his cat was left alone with his family for a day, and Mister Tibbles didn't like any of them save his father. He got up, dashing for the door, looking at his brother in horror when he realized his cat was caged up.
"Pollux! Really, did you have to cage him! He's claustrophobic," he raged, unlocking the cage and the dark grey cat shot out and into his owners adms, his angry spitting ceasing almost immediately.
"The demon was running around the house, attacking anything that moved! He tore up my fac-" "Well if you were just nicer t-" "He's posses-" "Better than the evil thing you call an ow-" "Don't bring Earthbreaker into this!" "Why'd you even name him that, he's a Barn owl, not an ea-" "Says the person who named his cat mister Tibbles! That's something a grandma woul-" "Mister Tibbles looks like a mister Tibbles-" "He looks like a demon with those ey-" And their argument continued on like that, the sentences halfway finished, and quite a few times they just stared at each other, silently arguing. It was easy to tell they were twins, despite the height difference and Casters glasses, they were mirrors of each other.

"Your idiot brother?" joked Fred "No, we don't have Scorpius here, I'm afraid. We just have your twin."
"Fred!" Hugo warned
"Alright, alright, Hugo. I'm just joking obviously. Scorpius got great grades at Hogwarts, I clearly don't actually think he's an idiot." Fred replied, rolling his eyes "Relax"
Hugo looked satisfied at this and it was at this point Caster hurtled into the hallway and the twins began to argue. Fred and Hugo looked on, both looking a little bewildered. It was confusing and a little strange, but at least it was somewhat entertaining.
"Okay, okay, let's stop with the arguing?" Hugo suggested when the twins showed no signs of stopping "Now, Pollux, I'd ask you if you wanted to come inside but I highly doubt it."
"Fred! You left us to carry the luggage into the spare room!"
James Sirius Potter and Albus Severus Potter had appeared on the stairs and were pulling Fred away, clearly a little annoyed about having been left to sort out the heavy trunks upstairs. Fred was still in earshot but it was now just Hugo and Caster at the door

At Hugo's interjection both the twins sent him a withering glare, their expressions the same, clearly not pleased at their argument being interrupted. The twins arguing was a rather common occurance st the Malfoy household, and usually the family just let them hash it out.
"He started it," they complained at the same time before shooting the other a death glare. Mr.Tibbles let out a low growl when Pollux looked at his owner, and the older Malfoy twin rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"Look. I can't stay long. Father sent me when mother was cooking dinner. You left your demon-" "He's a cat! And a good one at that!" "Do you see the scratches?" "He knows you're a dog person!" "Well anyways, you left it at the house and your epipen, idiot. You're supposed to keep it on you at all times," Pollux finished, wacking him over the head with the medicine.

"Right, well, as comforting as it is to know that Caster now won't die of an allergic reaction," Hugo responded "You should probably get home before your mother finishes dinner. Unless you do want to come inside? We won't bite. Well, Mr Tibbles might, but..."
Fred and the Potter brother had left but occasionally someone could be seen moving around the house. Hermione and Ron were cooking in the kitchen and Harry left the living room to join Ginny in the dining room. Lily, Fred, Albus and James could be seen moving between rooms as well as Fred's little sister, Roxanne. The Granger-Weasley house was as busy as ever. It was even worse when all of Hugo's uncles came. Bill, Percy and Charlie Weasley had children of their own. There was Victoire, Dominique, Louis, Lucy and even Molly Weasley II.
Thank God it was only the Potters and George's children in the house at the moment. He wasn't sure how many Weasleys and Potters the Malfoy twins could take.
Fred could be heard talking to Roxanne somewhere. Fred's weak spot was his little sister; he was fiercely protective of her.
