- The Master watched her storm by, mouth opening as he began to laugh, loud enough that it would follow her down the hall, towards the console room. He knew he was a jerk, a terrible person. He knew, and he loved every waking minute of it. Or, that was what he told himself. He tried to love every minute of it.
Now, The Doctor was where they had left him. He could hear the laughter, and the yelling, and he was frowning as Irene appeared.

Irene instantly slapped a smile onto her face as she entered, hoping the Doctor hadn't heard anything. She offered him the water. "Feeling any better?" She asked cheerfully, knowing it probably sounded like a fake cheerfullness but not really caring

- "Oh, just fine and dandy," he replied, taking the water with a thin smile. He slowly sipped on it, watching as The Master entered, breezing past Irene and humming as he sat annoyingly on The Doctor's knee, like a cat.
"Here comes the airplane," he sing-sang as he picked up one of the triangular halves of the airplane and poked The Doctor's mouth with it, apparently displeased as the other man didn't take a bite of it, instead taking it form him and taking a bite, and then promptly looking like he was going to spit it back out.
"I hate mustard," he informed, making a face as he swallowed.

Irene shot an angry look at the Master before sighing. She couldn't stay irritated with him forever, she decided. Maybe if someone showed him some compassion every now and then he may not be so cold. But at the same time she felt like she had gone out of her way enough for him.

- "What?" The Master asked, only restrained from getting up by The Doctor, who wrapped an arm around his midsection and pulled him back, apparently not shaky enough to not be able to hold him. Instead of saying anything else, he moodily picked up one of the sandwich slices, taking a bite out of it and looking back at The Doctor. "Mustard's good. You're just weird."
The Doctor sighed, shoving him off of his knee. "Get up. I should take Irene home."

Mustard is weird 😂))
Irene blinked. "Taking me home?" Those words took a second to process. She figured she would be sent on her merry way after things calmed down, yet she couldn't imagine going on with her same boring life anymore. Not after learning there were aliens who flew around in a big blue box. "Um, are you well enough for that?" She low keyed tried to stall

- "Well, unless you don't want to go home..." The Doctor begin, pausing while standing halfway up.
It took The Master fifteen seconds to realize what he was doing. "No!" he exclaimed, "no, no, no! Doctor, we are not taking her with us!" He was not going to have a human in this TARDIS. He'd just finished being married to one of the most vile, annoying, dumb...
"Who said I'm not kicking you out too?"
The words gave The Master pause. They were light, clearly not meant to be offensive, but still... he'd thought that The Doctor had very desperately wanted him to stay with him. Maybe not? No, no, he was kidding, he could see it in his eyes.

Irene wasn't sure if she should jump on his words and beg to stay or just quietly go along back home. The problem was she was never one to quietly go along. "Um, well the Master seems obviously displeased by my existence, but if you don't mind I would like to stay." Irene blinked, staring at the Doctor with a hopeful gaze. She didn't want to go home, she decided, but she also wouldn't put up a fight if the Doctor wanted her gone.

"You can stay-"
"Doctor, no!"
"If you don't mind putting up with that." The Doctor shrugged, gesturing to The Master as he shakily worked his way around the console, flipping some levers and pushing some buttons as managed to pick up a bit of speed. "So, Irene, pick somewhere serene since I haven't gotten my sea legs yet... where do you want to go?"

It was hard for Irene to not jump around like an excited little kid on her first field trip."You mean this thing can take us anywhere? Like Europe or something?" Her face lit up. "I've always wanted to visit Italy."

- "No, not anywhere on Earth," The Master said, rolling his eyes as he picked up the sandwich plate off the console. If The Doctor wasn't going to eat it, he would. "Anywhere in space, or time. You're standing in a time machine, stupid." He took a big bite, ducking around the console in case she tried to flail at him or something.

Irene was too shocked to even be upset with the Masters words. "A time travelling space machine? So you can take us anywhere in time and space? Oh my gosh." She laughed like a little school girl. "We could literally go to another planet?" Her mind couldn't process all of the information at once and she actually felt dumb for the first time in her life as she tried to wrap her mind around all of it

- "Yeah!" The Doctor said, seeming a bit more steady on his feet as he ducked back around the console, leaning on it. For some reason these new legs didn't seem to like cooperating with him, but it was fine with him. He wasn't against being a klutz. "How do you think I got here? Anywhere in time and space."
