Would anyone like to make a 4 Clan RP? My idea is that the four Clans each are based around different types of ethics. Basically, when a kit is born, they stay with their mother for six moons, as usual. Once they turn six months old, they are evaluated by the a team of cats unaffiliated with any of the Clans. They determine through a "morals test" which of the four Clans the kit belongs in, and then sends them to train as an apprentice in that Clan. The four Clans: DarkClan - Ethical egoism. Basically, the cats of DarkClan hold the dominant belief that a cat is morally obligated to act in a way that benefits themselves over others. They believe that a cat who cannot hold their own is worthless. - Owned by Dᴀɴɴʏ PʜᴀɴᴛᴏᴍSolaceClan - Ethical altruism. Cats of this Clan hold the dominant belief that one is morally obligated to help others before themselves, and that actions that negatively impact others are unattractive. Claimed by Jas. SunClan - State consequentialism. Cats of this Clan hold the dominant belief that one is morally obligated to do what benefits the Clan as a whole rather than one particular individual. The health of the state comes before the health of the individual. Claimed by яєɗOwlClan - Intellectualism. Cats of this Clan hold the dominant belief that one is morally obligated to do what most promotes knowledge and wisdom. To them, intellect is more important than anything else and must be supported and guarded at all costs. Claimed by Scarpath. If you are still having trouble picturing what these Clans are like, think of it this way. If the book Clans were like this, then Firestar would have gone to Clan 2, Hollyleaf to Clan 3, Tigerstar to DarkClan, and Leafpool to Clan 4. I feel like we could do some deep stories with this. If you want to lead a Clan, you must take a literacy test first, as I want my leaders to be at least semi-advanced. You must also be active at least every other day on the forums unless you have a reasonable excuse. |

I really love the idea of this ;u;
I would love to lead Clan 2, but would need to take that literacy test first cx
Also I haven't been the most active recently, but will be back to my regular amount of activity come Tuesday.
However, once school starts in a couple weeks, I might be inactive on Mondays and Wednesdays during the peak activity time since I'm in PST and most seem to be in EST.

That sounds great. For the literacy test, I want you to take the following word and write a minimum of one Warriors-themed paragraph around it. I consider a paragraph six sentences, and am looking for excellent grammar and attention to detail.

Well for one, we should decide on DarkClan's territory for a start. I'm thinking maybe a dense forest of some type, or would something more exotic be better?

Hmmm...the tricky thing about multiclan territories is that you have to think at least somewhat realistically, and what other territories could be near said territory?
Exotic could work as an overarching theme.

Well we could have the Clans inhabit an island. Many islands have varying climates, ranging from snowy mountains to dense jungles. That would allow us variety.

i'll definitely let you know when i decide if i'm interested, but if you want me to take the literacy test now i will. it's up to you!
if my say makes a difference, i think an island is an interesting idea, but it would have to be big for there to be drastic climate changes, which makes each Clan's territory big. if that's what you're looking for, an island might be a good idea. but i would go for a normal setting; the differences in the Clan's morals already makes them individual enough, in my opinion.

Hmm yeah, I see your point. Perhaps they could live on a desert? There wouldn't be any territory differences- rather, perhaps the Clans split into four because they couldn't agree on the best way to survive in a harsh climate. Some thought it should be every cat for his own, others thought that they must stick together to survive, etc etc.
Also, I'm changing the leader activity requirement to every other day.

i do like that idea! there wouldn't be much of a change in climate, but there could still be landmarks and ways to mark borders.

I'm leaving that up to the leaders. We probably should come up with some landmarks, like the StarClan meeting place, the Gathering place, etc.

that's a good idea. here's a list of a few ideas, if we're going with the desert Clans idea.
StarClan Meeting Place:
- a small oasis with a pool and grass, etc, that shimmers in the moonlight
- a cave with a stone similar to the moonstone, but in a desert setting
Gathering Place:
- a outcropping of rocks with one bigger boulder for leaders
- again, an oasis, maybe with four desert (palm?) trees for the four Clans

I like the oasis idea for StarClan. Maybe the Gathering place could be an old, abandoned human structure? The leaders could sit atop it and the cats could gather below.

I was thinking like one of those places where ancient people used to live; perhaps it could be made of stone or something and be in a state of somewhat disrepair. It could be called Stonehenge Broken Stones or something? I'm awful with names xD
