I'll throw in Saint-Germain with you guys!]] mintedstar/fur and ®Hawkpath®: Saint-Germain was feeling a peculiar sense of deja vu as he stepped out of his room once again. No, it wasn't just a mere sense. He soon realized this was in fact his second time stepping out of this same little room. The composition of the hallway outside seemed a bit different, however. Saint-Germain narrowed his eyes in thought, pondering the reasons for his relocation as he meandered through the various artefacts scattered across the floor. The distant sound of voices around the corner was what finally shook the count from his thoughts. The count soon rounded the corner and laid eyes upon Lupin and Castiel. "Oh? I don't believe I've seen these faces before," he murmured.

Kuragehime and ®Hawkpath® : Lupin was about to answer when Saint-Germain appeared. His mouth was open any everything. When he looked at the person that had just appeared he wasn't sure if it was a reprieve from Castiel or not. "Uh ...: he said. "Hold that thought?" He turned to face the new person who'd appeared. "No. And please don't tell me that I have to make an introduction of where you are or anything. It's in the letter and everything is weird." Spinning, he pointed at Castiel, who he wasn't sure how to deal with. "And I haven't seen them. Do you even know if they're here? You're dead. It's sort of the highlight of a place that not everyone is." Hopefully. He'd have expected it to be busier if it was.

"I know someone's in there," Sally said. And she didn't care if she was stating the obvious or if she was bothering the resident of the room. "Come out," she added. Her voice was stern and had a tone to it that said she would indeed be coming in if she needed to. And as far as she cared about the matter she would indeed enter a room whether she'd been permitted to or not. "There's something you need to see," she added, voice low enough on the last part that it was possible she hadn't said anything at all. Alice let out a scoff. "Heh, nice try but that's not going to work," he called to the person on the other side of the door. As if speaking so softly he couldn't hear was enough to get him to move. The young man sat cross-legged on the bed, feeling very proud of the fact that he hadn't fallen for it. If past experiences were to be learned from, then opening that door would just drag him into some annoying and likely unnecessarily tangled mess. "It isn't like this is a trap," Sally snapped, feeling a bit like she was running on little sleep. Which was ridiculous. She hadn't felt like she'd been tired since she'd gotten here. Now it just seemed like a test of her will-power of how long it would take before she kicked down the door. "What do you THINK is out here?" she tried, voice rising just a little to a tiny shout on the word 'think.' She wasn't going to wait for this small pest to make up his mind whether or not he wanted out.

Castiel stopped dead at the sight of the other person appeared, and they narrowed their eyes, immediately preparing for a fight. They wouldn’t strike first, naturally, but if it came to it… Well. They may not know Lupin, and they may not trust him, but they would do what they had to do. Thankfully, Saint-Germain didn’t seem inclined to pick a fight, not at the moment anyway, and Castiel let themself relax a bit. Just enough that they didn’t look ready to start throwing knives. They hesitated, then shook their head, exasperated. “I’m not dead either.” They snapped, their tone thoroughly annoyed. “Believe me, I’d know. Wherever we are is not heaven nor hell, and it’s certainly not purgatory. If you were a real angel, you would know that.” Maybe that wasn’t the best thing to say in front of the new person, but they were too irritated to really think about it. Or care, at all.

®Hawkpath® and mintedstar/fur: Saint-Germain looked between the two new faces as he approached them. He could sense a hint of tension from one, and tried to keep his body language as neutral as he could as he quietly waited for the two to finish speaking. He looked to Lupin and gave a slight dismissive wave of both hands. "Oh no, you need not explain the situation to me," he said with a soft chuckle. "Whether I like it or not, I am well aware of what is going on here." With that, he glanced at Castiel. "It seems you are looking for someone?"

He lifted a hand and started counting on his fingers one at a time. "Hm, let's see-- irritation, agony, torment... I could go on," he rattled off, his voice coming out rather flat despite his exaggeration. "Look, every time I've left my home for some stranger, I ended up with the rotten end of the bargain.. not that this deal has any positives to it either..." He coughed a couple times and cleared his throat. "Anyway!" He suddenly shouted and pointed at the closed door. "I bet if I just go back to sleep this will all just be some stupid bad dream. Hmph."

She took a step back, lifted her leg, and then kicked out at the door with enough force to not only break the hinges, but to send it out several feet from the doorframe before it crashed to the floor. Sally walked in, shoulders set back and her eyebrows rising very, very slowly. "Think of it like this," she said, looking at Alice with no sympathy what so ever. "You can either stay in here long enough for me to drag you out, or you can wait for something to come in. As far as I've seen it, both have occurred. This place doesn't care if you don't want to. You'll just have to. Now. Any comments?"

Kuragehime ®Hawkpath®; "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I have to say," Lupin said nervously, "you have a very narrow definition of what's possible. I can't prove what I am any more than what we're both seeing." At the bright point ... it didn't seem like Saint-Germain was going to be as problematic about all of this as Castiel was. That was the bright point. He hoped. Lupin had to flinch as well. He really didn't like that Castiel had said he was an angel in front of Saint-Germain either. Not that there was much that Lupin could do about it now. But their newcomer had said a sentence that caught Lupin's attention. "What do you mean, you're aware of what's going on here?" He personally wasn't. He mostly could just regurgitate what the letters said.

So sorry!!! I meant to reply once the holidays were over but time got away from me x_x]] mintedstar/fur and ®Hawkpath®: Saint-Germain looked to Lupin and pursed his lips for a moment. "Ah, forgive me," he started with a soft chuckle. "I may not have chosen the proper words, allow me to amend my former statement-- I merely meant to say I understood the contents of the note. If there is some grander scheme going on here, then unfortunately I don't have any answers for you," he explained with a shrug and sheepish smile.

Haven't you ever heard of using a doorknob??" His sharp blue eyes sent a glare at her over the top of the pillow. "Why does it matter so much to you if I want to stay in here anyway? I don't even know who you are! You could have just moved on with your life and I would have had peace and quiet right now... and a door that was still on its hinges-- " He glanced at the door on the floor. "I'm not paying to replace that, by the way."

"And currently, I'm making YOU my job. Because ... how to put it ... you're an innocent bystander. And I don't trust innocent bystanders."

"I would complain about not getting a say in the matter - and I still might - but I guess I can't fault you for choosing such a fine specimen as myself to focus on," Alice went on, Sally's whole 'distrusting bystanders' comment going in one ear and out the other. I am sorry my boi is causing Sally such a headache but I am having so much fun with him xD]] Sally smeared a bit. “Oh trust me, I’m working,” she said. She meant it too. This was really a time when she needed this. Not that she was going to explain why, but if she didn’t take on something, it was bound to be more harm for both herself and for others. Vampires needed to be focused on something. And if she didn’t start acting like a member of the Watch, she’d break. They really didn’t need her going after bl … bloo … that. “Unless you intended to sleep while you’re dead, because I’m sure that makes so much sense.” Her eyebrows were pushed together, very judgmentally. “You were nearby, so you’re about as fine as I’m expecting.” She really didn’t care how bloated he wanted his ego though. She pointed a finger toward the door. “That direction look interesting to you?” she asked. It was a rhetorical question. (I'm having a great time with this! Please no worries!)
