(XD Want me to throw someone at him? Seems a shame to wake him.) (I somehow missed this. D: ) There was a soft knock on the door, as if it wasn't sure it wanted to interrupt. Then it grew harder the second time around and a voice - female, no-nonsense, with an accent - said, "Hello? I can hear someone in there. So do you want to come out or not." The shift in locations had thrown Sally off. Particularly since she didn't trust this place to actually do anything appropriate. There was just too much going on and too much of it was the result of Sable or who knew what else messing with the museum. She didn't like it, not one bit. So she was ready to face whoever had decided to hide out in this particular room. ( Kuragehime ) Alice lay in the bed with his back facing the door, eyes closed but not asleep. At the sound of the knock, however, his blue eyes opened and he glanced back over his shoulder with disdain. He registered the feminine voice on the other side and a sharp "Huh?" escaped his lips. It was more of a sound made out of instinct or habit than one expressing any curiosity or interest in the other party. He shut his mouth, still glaring at the door, waiting and hoping the other individual would mind their own business. His eyes flicked to the doorknob. Great. No lock.

Snake had been wandering around for a while now, and had managed to get lost once again. Not that it mattered though, he would probably never find a group he could help anyway. He heard a hiss from his pet snake and glanced towards where it pointed, giving a quick nod before heading in that direction. Apparently, there was a noise coming from up ahead and he wanted to find out who or what it was.

Poltergeist | Sytry | mintedstar/fur He resumed being his normal self and always hiding his emotions to manipulate people. He decided to then do what he did best: Lie. "Oh, yeah. I had a kid. Back in the living world. I miss him a ton." The last sentence wasn't a lie, but the rest was. His past wasn't an easy one to admit. Plus, in this way, he might earn pity points. He desperately hoped Sytry couldn't detect emotions or read minds. Plus, he'd rather forget the kid. A lot less pain would be in his life if he did. (Sorry for the late reply! I forgot these were on the previous page! D: ) "Uh huh," said Sytry, sounding distracted. It was a bit of a debate if they'd heard anything that Poltergeist had said - or they just didn't care that much. They were looking past where they were standing, down the hallway. there were things littering the ground and their eyes seemed to be focused on something. "Are you seeing the light?" they asked after a second, a thin smile twitching at their lips. They pointed in the direction they were looking. It was at a small box, on a table that had been pulled into the hallway at some point. There was light reflecting along the edges.

Yet again did Dipper furrowed his brow hearing the vampire shrug. "Then what else would you call it?" He pestered irritantly. Regardless of the bigger issues, one moment he was on his bus ride back home and the next thing that just had to happen was ending up in a museum of all places. Besides the empty hallways and seemingly empty rooms the only person he's met had been Myrnin who already presented himself far from the norm in his world. There was no logical way to determine what had happened other than Salem's ever informative notice. No further push was needed to have the boy prattle off at to why they were dead while actually not being dead. "Really?" Upon the vampire's commentary he fidgeted fishing out the note he'd awoken with. No matter the scurtiny that would befall his theories his eyes brightened at the chance to explain. "If we got these notes with the same information then that could give us some idea of how Salem does things around here. Is salem real? Does he actually have a weird museum? Why bother setting up one in the first place?" He paused, flipping over his own note to examine it. "There could be some secret message behind this or even magic, the all powerful kind that could have been used to trap us here! I could argue you could check your pulse unless you're like a zombie or some creature - maybe the museum has something to do with that...probably." "A museum?" Myrnin offered, with very little insight honestly. "It's a collection of things. Apparently people are included in that." He tapped at his arm again, then glanced over his shoulder. (Yes, the figure only he could see was still there, but he'd just intended to check the hallway.) Then he looked back. "I think we are dead. Or at least assuming we are might be the best way to move forward. It just makes everything easier to think about. "I mean," Myrnin said after a second. "I have met Sable. So I assume he's real. Well ... technically speaking "he" looks like a shadow, so I can't say for certain that there's much to see. As for the museum ..." Myrnin waved a hand at the hallway. There was certainly enough junk pushed against the walls to make up a museum. "There are hallways that lead out to the museum, but really a better word might be junkyard." Then he laughed. "Oh? I don't think checking my pulse would work. I don't have one. But how about this ... try holding your breath ... you won't need to take a new one. Try it, if you don't believe me." Magic? Of course it probably had something to do with magic. Pity Dipper was new. Catching him up to speed would likely take a little while.

Too many times this would happen. "That whole pulse thing I can see happening? I don't think I've seen my chest rise or anything that points that we're still completely alive." He tapped his chin, still coming to terms with the sparse information given to him. If he was being honest with himself it was awfully convenient he'd run into someone claiming they'd met the museum's owner, claiming answers the vampire don't seem to believe himself not whole heartedly like he expected to.

(Sorry for the wait!) Castiel sighed, annoyed. They didn’t want to be trapped in some alternate universe, not when the Winchester’s probably needed their help again. They stared at Lupin for a long few seconds, then nodding abruptly. “Alright.” They agreed. “I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt, for now. But you better not be trying to trick me.” They narrowed their eyes to make their point even clearer. Then they turned their attention to their surroundings. “I’m going to walk around. You can come with me if you want to.” They decided, and started off without looking to see whether their invitation was accepted.

And as far as she cared about the matter she would indeed enter a room whether she'd been permitted to or not. "There's something you need to see," she added, voice low enough on the last part that it was possible she hadn't said anything at all.

"Hello?" he asked as he heard a vague hissing sound in the distance. The hybrid glanced at his snake, then hurried forward as the voice became louder. “Hello? Says Emily,” he muttered softly. Snake soon spotted the newcomer and looked him up and down before dipping his head slightly. “Nice to see there’s someone else here. Who might you be? Asks Emily.”

(Sorry for poofing!)Poultergiest | Sytry | mintedstar/fur "Yes.. I do see it...", he said, before rushing forward, looking rather careful despite their speed, and carefully tapping the box before recoiling to see if it was booby-trapped. He then carefully grabbed the box and rushed it as quickly as possible back to Sytry. "What do you think is inside?", he wondered out loud. (I liiiiiiiiiiiive.) Sytry | Poultergiest | Brokenstar"You're brave," pointed out the demon while letting there shoulders sway a bit. They crossed their arms while they looked down at the box, not sure what it meant. "Some things here could always poison you over time. You never know." But that was just it. They didn't know. So they leaned in closer to look at the item that Poultergiest was holding. "My guess? Something magic. Could always open it to see."

That's why I quickly touched it before recoiling, and ran back as fast as possible." He then lowered his hands and said, momentarily astounded by Sytry's suggestion of the contents of the box, "Something magical? But magic doesn't..." He then facepalmed, muttering to himself, "You're saying this to a devil. Of course magic exists!" He looked back at Sytry and said, "I'm more used to technology and super-human powers."

That seemed important. After all, he was fairly sure that Castiel wasn't someone he should make an enemy of. As if to suggest Lupin was impressive enough to have an enemy. "Sure," Lupin said after a second, snapping out of the suggestion. Walking around the museum again seemed like a good option. There was certainly plenty of things to do. Anyway, Castiel didn't know anything here. So their invitation was accepted and Lupin followed. Albeit a bit slower.

"I'm Newt," he said, tired of introducing himself by his full name after all this time. Usually it was just easier to start at the beginnings of formality. "You've been here for a long time?" he asked. "Or did you just get here?" Best to start with beginnings in general.

They didn't line up very well with what the museum was about. He'd learn. "Yes, magic. And yes, a devil. So get used to it. There are plenty of things here which only one of us or neither of us will understand." They indicated the box again. "So. Want to see if there is magic? Or no?"

Newt understood what it was like to keep running into people and then losing them again. That had been happening to him a lot as of late. Even still, he did find the way that Snake talked to be slightly unusual. He allowed a small but interested smile sneak at the corner of his lips. "What beautiful snakes. You're able to communicate with them?" He was interested, but wasn't sure he'd ever heard of such a thing before. "I don't have any clues for what needs to be found. There may be some instances where we or someone in my group may have gotten close, but I'm not sure." There was a slightly longer pause. "I would be willing to come with you. I'm looking for a way out and a way to return to life."

"Museum's don't have their exhibits wandering around, you don't see a smilodon wandering the gift shop." Dipper rolled his eyes. "Unless that's not how it works? Not in your world at least." He shrugged, finding the words leaving him confused. Who knew the multiverse or their museum's could be so confusing? "I shouldn't be that surprised but Sable is real!?" He wasn't expecting that, plot twists hadn't been his speciality. That was made evident from his days skimming through the journal. The author had his secrets out in plain sight if he had only looked deep enough, thought this sable fellow wasn't like an open book. The boy held tightly onto his note, grip becoming sweaty just from the revelation. He faced Myrnin more interested now in what he had to say. "Ahem, got a bit excited there." Too many times this would happen. "Never heard of a living museum before, I see," said Myrnin kindly. "It's where they keep funny animals, I think." Or maybe they'd stopped doing that - he couldn't remember. "As for smilodons, I haven't seen one yet, but that doesn't mean anything. Might have seen a gift shop. Bit removed from here - would take a walk." Myrnin didn't hold it against Dipper for not assuming that Sable was real. It wasn't outside the realm of possibility for him to be fake. It was just that he wasn't. Sable was confusing. "Sadly, he is very real. Just not very present. He sometimes speaks through the speaker in the hallway." Myrnin pointed toward the edges of the hallway. There were, however, no obvious signs of technology. Certainly no speakers. "Join the no pulse club," said Myrnin with a chuckle. "You're welcome to not believe me of course. I wont mind. But you can take what I say into account."

It's big. And you haven't even seen the half of it?" Lupin suggested, hesitantly trailing after the angel. That seemed like a bad idea for his health, but he wasn't sure what better option he had. As it stood, it seemed like he rarely ran into other people here anyway. "People turn up in the rooms sometimes. Or very occasionally just randomly appear. Then sometimes they disappear. You're just watching them and poof, they're gone. And most of the time they don't come back. Sometimes they do. Sometimes they just reappear in the room they first found themself in. I did that." He couldn't really think of much else unless Sable counted. They'd sort of already gone down that road though. "Why? Have any plans in mind?"

"Heh, nice try but that's not going to work," he called to the person on the other side of the door. As if speaking so softly he couldn't hear was enough to get him to move. The young man sat cross-legged on the bed, feeling very proud of the fact that he hadn't fallen for it. If past experiences were to be learned from, then opening that door would just drag him into some annoying and likely unnecessarily tangled mess.

Castiel paused, then turned, looking at Lupin through narrowed blue eyes. “What do you mean, poof?” They asked suspiciously. That definitely sounded like something the Winchesters would be looking into, and something they would eventually come to the angel for help with. They shook their head at that thought. “You haven’t seen anyone called Dean or Sam, have you?” They continued, deciding for the time being to assume that Lupin was who he said he was. “They’d be looking for each other, and the shorter one would be very angry about being separated in the first place. You’d know them if you saw them.” They turned back to the hallway, scanning it carefully before speaking again. “Unfortunately I really can’t make any plans without more information.” They stated, regret in their tone. “Why? Do you have any plans?”
