Silus' head shot up, eyes wide with horror. 'I am /not/ getting on THAT.' He loudly objected, moving as far away as was possible, looking genuinely terrified. Cobak released a strange noise and followed his rider at a swift hopping pace, hiding behind him quickly as if he were agreeing. Fyacin's head rose, a look of offense on her face. "/I am /not/ letting him on my back, not when he insults me so!/" Tannyll groaned and buried his head into his hands, trying to regain his composure. He squeaked as she rose her head, and dived behind a bush, taking Cobak with him in his arms. Not that a bush would offer much protection from a fire-breathing, adult dragon. He peeked through the branches, eyes owlish.

After a number of minutes, Tannyll lifted his head and looked at her, mentally communicating. She looked sheepish after a few moments of this silence, before she lowered her head and looked away, huffing quietly, smoke finding its way out through her nose. Tannyll then turned his attention back to Silus. "Come here." He said, his voice gaining a sterner tone.

He really did not want to be near her mouth at this moment in time.

((Heyo leopard are you after Mina and Valne or Silus/Tannyll?? The two elves aren't at the riders place ATM they're near Ellesmera in a woodlands ((Tannyll was tasked with finding the 'egg thief' Silus)) so it's unlikely they'll be interacting with anybody until they get back x))

Zenobia walked with Ragner to find a sunny spot in the field. She ran her fingers through her hair attempting to remove any knots that invaded the strands. Soaring through the air with Ragner tended to take a tole on her. Especially her hair. But, it was worth it when she could be up in the skies. Ragner bumped Zenobia with his nose. Causing her to stumble forward a bit. She managed to regain her footing and avoid falling. She turned and gave her dragon a dirty look. He simply huffed a breath of air at her and chuckled deeply. 'Hey Zenobia!' Mina shouted, waving over at the girl from where she and Valne were now resting in the field. The she-dragon glanced up and raised her head, then off-handedly snorted and looked away, laying her head back down and closing her eyes.

We will help you, but it is ultimately down to you." He said softly, almost as though he were a parent consoling a child. "If you get on her back, you will have taken the first of many steps to achieving that. And a big one too."

Zenobia turned to where the voice came from and smiled. She waved back and started jogging towards the other rider. Ragner followed behind a little slower a rumble coming from his throat. Zeno reached the rider and her dragon and smiled "Hey Mina. How are you?" 'I'm alright. Just been practicing some moves with Valne.' Mina replied, watching as her dragon shuffled away from Ragner with a suspicious hiss, lashing her tail slightly as if to ward him away. 'Stop being antisocial, Valne.' '/I am not being antisocial./' '/well what do you call that then?/' The dragoness narrowed her eyes on her rider then released a loud 'hmph', turning her head away haughtily.

Silus refused, rejecting them again and backing up for a second time, now leaning up against a tree as he glared with suspicion towards them both of them. Silus has some serious trust issues; he'd barely slept the night before, scared he'd wake up with a knife in his back, or his dragon missing.

Fyacin growled with frustration, before lifting her head to look at him, forcing her mind into his. She immediately blocked herself from his memories. "/I swear not to harm you, and I swear not to harm Cobak whilst you ride me. I swear I will not do anything to needless increase your fear of myself or of my rider/" she said in the Ancient Language, before quickly retreating from his mind again. Tannyll frowned at her, before looking at Silus and reciting the same oaths. "I'm sure you know that those oaths cannot be broken."

The second she left his head, Silus threw up every single barrier with the hardest strength he could muster; despite knowing their words were true, he did NOT appreciate the sudden intrusion, and now was even more terrified of them as he hugged Cobak tighter to his body. 'I'm not getting on her back.' He hissed, pupils slitting.

"You....are insuffrable." Tannyll muttered, before pulling out a map, seeing where abouts they were and how far they had to travel. "Fine. We will walk." He looked at Silus again. "But it will take a few days at least."

The young elf seemed to relax ever so slightly, and quietly slid down the tree into a sitting position, gaze flickering between the rider and his dragon with fear, suspicion and current dislike.

He didn't appreciate her attitude. Puffing up his chest bit he was about to give her a piece of his mind. "Don't start, Ragner" Zeno said, not taking a second to even turn at look at her companion. She knew very well what he was trying to do. '/Then she shouldn't be so rude/' He retorted with another huff of breath. Zenobia glanced at him with sharp look. He said nothing more. "How was practice then?" She continued as if the dragons weren't being rude and hadn't said anything.

Valne however hadn't noticed this, and swiftly got to her feet, arched her back and spread her wings, and released an aggressive, ear-splitting screech of annoyance. Mina squealed with alarm and pushed her dragons head. 'Oh, stop being mean, Valne!' '/he squared up to me /first/!/' the dragoness hissed, lashing her tail angrily. 'Practice was hard!' Mina said, standing in front of Valne with her arms spread, grinning wildly as she held back her dragon with sheer willpower. 'We can't seem to get the move right.'

Ragner let a deep growl rumble from his chest. His tail lashed violently behind him as his muscles in his shoulders bunched as if he were ready to pounce. '/Did she really just screech at me/" the male snarled as he dug his claws into the dirt. "Stop it" Zeno hissed reaching up to wrap her arms around his snout. She smiled at Mina apologetically "Which move are you trying to do" She asked raising her voice just a bit so she could be heard over Ragner's growling. Pupils slitted, Valne hissed her tongue at the male and turned her back to him vainly, sitting down to groom her scales. 'She does this really tight mid-air turn.' Mina explained. 'I always fall off when she does it, or I get a bit of whiplash, or I lean in the wrong direction. It's just difficult.'

'That would be great!' Mina grinned. 'Right, Valne?' She excitedly prompted. Valne responded by wagging her tail, Mina's excitement rubbing off on her. '/I have yet much to learn./' she replied. '/I would welcome help. It may be me after all and not you./' it was hard to admit this, being a female dragon with her pride and all, but Valne was not all as vain as she often made herself out to be- she was willing if it would help her rider in any way.

As soon as the man left, Elwrin hurried to his quarters and grabbed a pack and some waterskins. "We've got to tell the others." He told the large reddish orange dragon. "Of course we do. This is bigger than an urgal standing next to a dwarf." "I'll try to find the others by scrying them. Hopefully I'll be able to find at least one. Elwrin headed off to a basin in his quarters. filling it up with water, he whispered, "Draumr kópa." in the water, he could see Mina and Valne in a field talking with Zeno. "I know where that is." Elwrin said to himself. "Found one of them." He informed Logondi. Elwrin tried to scry Tannyll and Fyacin, but he could only see them, not their surroundings. "Well, at least I've got one." Elwrin said, trying his best to be optomistic about the situation. He headed outside to where Logondi was waiting and climbed onto logondi's back. "Let's Go."

"Great" Zeno smiled. She was happy to help out a fellow rider. She just hoped that Ragner wouldn't try to show off. Even though he wasn't the best flier doesn't mean he wasn't going to not try and be better than everyone else. '/As long as that dragoness doesn't screech at me again we should be fine/' The male huffed eyeing Valne out of the corner of his eye. He couldn't stand anyone not liking him. It felt weird.

The dragoness then stood and spread her huge wings, before taking off into the air with graceful ease and spinning slightly, loving the feel of the wind against her body. Mina laughed with exhilaration.

'Are we going....?' Silus asked, no longer looking at the male elf, looking uncomfortable as he fidgeted with a necklace that he wore around his neck, and his gaze wandered.
