He teared up at the other elf's words, feeling even more worthless than before. 'No.' He muttered in response, before turning his back to him and lying down, signifying the conversation was over. He curled around the hatchling protectively and closed his eyes, internally deciding he would NOT be going to Urû'baen. He refused to be around other riders more worthy than he. As if they would ever respect a common thief; especially an elf, whom were expected to be of the higher moralities. Tannyll watched him closely for a good portion of the evening, before slowly turning his back on the young elf and putting his head down to sleep.

Silus woke first the next day, sleepily noticing his dragon wasn't in his arms. He sat up with a yawn and noticed he was at the meat from the previous night, chomping away. 'Where do you put it all?' He croaked, rubbing his eyes. 'You're so small.' The dragon wagged his tail.

He croaked, rubbing his eyes. 'You're so small.' The dragon wagged his tail. Fyacin slowly opened one eye and examined the two, but made sure to do it slyly. She watched how they interacted and how close they were already. "/...../" she blinked slowly, before closing her eyes again, deep in thought now.

(( || Raven Muriel || Elf || 60 || Nonbinary (she/her, they/them) || Raven is tall, standing at 6'2", and is lean-muscled. Strong thighs and a tight stomach with big hips and a flat chest. They are handsomely beautiful, almost deadly-so; like the thorns on a rose. Dark skin with red-hued eyes, and black hair; shaved on one side and long and curled, swept over the other side. Long, thick eyelashes, and long ears which are pierced at the lobes and have a bar at the tip. Usually wears a leather breastplate, with a high collar rimmed with fur, the arm-holes also rimmed with fur, and with a leather detachable-hood; also rimmed with fur. Black leather trousers which are skin tight and practical with high boots. She has long fangs in her top teeth. || Raven has a dark sense of humour and a strange obsession with gaining power over those weaker than her. She has no qualms with killing and even seems to slightly enjoy it. They are a terrifying sight to behold due to their alluring grace but deadliness in their eyes. Raven is well aware of their unstable mindset, but has no idea of what to do to change- that is, if they even want to. 'A little wicked,' they call themselves. || They are a ferocious force to deal with when wielding a sword, and their magic is not too shabby either; they are especially skilled at mind-battles, and can tear you viciously apart from the inside before the out. || Shard || WIP || N/A || Bloodrose
|| Shard || Dragon || 15 || Male || Shard is massive with a giant wingspan; he has long spines stretching down his back and tail, and sharp horns and fangs. His scales are a shimmering diamond-white, and when they reflect the sunlight, they shine in all-different colours. His eyes are a light shade of pink. || Shard is a quiet dragon with complete loyalty and love for his rider, often working as the calming, grounding point for Raven when she gets out of control. He is almost vital in calming her down. || Shard is lethal during airborne fights and on the ground, with strong hind legs to keep him grounded if he is pushed. He has a strong jaw with a hard bite, and is as skilled as his rider when it comes to mental battles. || Raven || N/A || N/A || Bloodrose))

'I don't know what to name you.' He sighed, gazing at him. He began to go through names, waiting for the dragon to feel pleased and accept what he gave him. 'Cobak, Cry- Cobak?' He asked, blinking as the dragon wiggled at him happily and started jumping around, looking VERY pleased. 'Cobak it is.' He said, lips twitching. 'C'mere, I'll give your scales a brush.'

He said, choosing to answer the physical side of the question rather than the mental, as he began to gently brush down the hatchling.

Tannyll didn't miss this at all. "And mentally? How are you?" He repeated the question. He blinked slowly, going over the memories of what Fyacin had seen him doing. Fyacin herself stretched, yawning loudly, before she stood and disappeared into the foliage.

She immediately opened her mind to him, letting him see through her eyes. The foliage beneath her feet was a dense green colour, with hints of purple. She slowly crept through the trees, eying up a young buck in a clearing ahead of her. She slowly moved forward to the edge of the clearing, before leaping on the deer and clamping her teeth round its neck, ending its life in a second. She gently picked it up, before beginning to head back to the clearing. Tannyll smiled and opened his eyes to look at Silus and Cobak. "Fyacin has caught a deer for herself and Cobak." He informed them, smiling.

'Ok.' Silus replied, quite clearly giving the elder elf the cold shoulder; it was odd behaviour for an elf, especially a young one, to be so volatile towards another of his kind. He finished dusting and brushing Cobak and let him go to play again, watching as he chased a bird o the other side of the clearing, flapping his wings uselessly.

Both dragon and rider warily leant away from the adult, before Cobak eagerly leapt onto the fresh kill and started wolfing down the meat. 'Seriously. Where do you put it all?' Silus weakly asked, watching with wide eyes the amount the hatchling was eating.

(I'm sorry it took so long and i poofed ^.^")
|| Zenobia "Zeno" Vinter || Human || 26 || Female || A woman standing at 5'4" with butterscotch skin, sharp golden eyes, a bright smile, and long messy dark brown hair that is parted in a way that makes it sometimes hang in her right eye. Though she complains about her hair being in her face she'll never cut it. Her hair is so long that it actually still reaches her lower waist when tied into a high ponytail. She's quite thin in appearance with her long legs making her look even smaller. Her thin appearance emphasizes the lack of strength she has compared to other people. However, she makes up for it in quickness. She's smaller so she can fit into smaller spaces and move slightly faster than some other people. A long battle scar rests on her left arm from the top of her shoulder to end just before the knuckle of her middle finger. It twists in an ugly and mangled shape. The scar, when it reaches her forearm, wraps around her arm until it reaches the end of her hand in a point. Zeno usually wears a puffy-sleeved shirt that hangs completely off her shoulders with a fitted brown vest over it. The vest cradles her neck and comes into a low V shape. Her shoulders are usually exposed so the top of her scar tends to peak out of her clothing. Under both her shirt and vest, is a black undershirt that is simply to help her keep warm during flights with Ragner. It serves as gloves as well. Black and gold gauntlets cover her forearms and slightly extend from her elbow. Grey pants cover her legs and in turn, a single dark brown stocking lays on top of her pants on her right leg. The buckle of the stocking is attached to her belt. A necklace is wrapped close around her throat. It's plain with thick black string and a copper piece hanging from the string. She never takes it off. A pouch hangs at her side from her belt. The pouch holds important things like throwing knives and snacks. Two sheaths are strapped across her back that hold her twin daggers. Brown knee-high boots are laced onto her feet. Sometimes she wears a deep red hooded cloak if she's REALLY cold. || Though Zenobia is known for her kindness, patience, and sense of humor she also has a very bad temper if truly angered. She is fierce in battle, hardly ever gives up, and has no tolerance for unnecessary behavior. People have described her as quiet because sometimes she doesn't speak during conversations. She's really just a watcher. A person who watches, gathers all the information necessary before giving her input. Though she's not usually, Zeno can become deadly serious. She's also slightly entitled. She'll never say anything out loud but she is definitely thinking about what she thinks she deserves. || Zeno loves blades. She's self-taught with both throwing knives and daggers. She finds a sword to be too heavy to handle and clumsy. She admires anyone who uses them well though. She's not very good with magic but she's still learning. She's also very good at sneaking up on people.|| Ragner || When Zeno was young she lost her family in a house fire. She was adopted by an uncle and lived a good life until he died of an illness quite a few years before the present. She's used to fending for herself if she has to do it. || N/A || LeopardHeart
|| Ragner || Dragon || 14 || Male || Ragner's scales are like a burning fire. Golden with multiple hue accents of red in his wing membrane, horns, claws, spines stretching down his back, and some of his scales. His eyes are a beautiful emerald green. Ragner's tail is long and powerful. One of his favorite things to do is hit enemies with it and send them flying. Or push people and dragons he knows playfully. He's a bit more muscular than some other dragons. || Unlike his rider, Ragner is very openly entitled, insisting that he is pretty great and he should get special treatment, and lacks patience. He speaks his mind and expects everyone to think he is right. Zeno is trying to get him to stop being so brash. However, he does share her raging temper and fierceness in battle. They kind of balance each other when interacting with other people or dragons. Keep each other in check. || Ragner focuses more on brute strength while in battle. When grounded he stomps, smashes, and swings his tail causing a distraction so Zeno can get where she needs to go quietly. While flying Ragner isn't the fastest but he does his best to maneuver quickly in the air. Still he relies a lot on brute strength such as swiping with his claws, headbutts, bodyslams, and of course using his tail. || Zenobia Vinter || N/A || N/A || LeopardHeart

Silus weakly asked, watching with wide eyes the amount the hatchling was eating. "He may be growing." Tannyll said, looking at him. "....before you leave...I can teach you to create a saddle for him." He tilted his head, smiling softly. "If you don't intend to return, then he will follow his instincts. That includes flying with a rider. But without a saddle, the skin of your legs will be severely damaged."

'I'll go with you there, but I don't want to go to Urû'baen.' He said- the way he spoke made it clear he'd already made up his mind, and would not be changing it. If Silus was forced to go, he knew already he'd just turn rogue again and leave. He'd have to teach himself, sure, but he did not want to go to the dragon academy.
