Almost at the same moment, a raven came from the direction of Ellesméra, a scroll clutched in its feet. It flew over their heads, keeping well away from the business ends of the dragons below, before landing in front of Tannyll, cawing loudly. Tannyll paused, then smoothly lifted the bird and removed the scroll, before murmuring thanks in the Ancient Language. He then set the birb free, before opening the scroll. His eyes quickly scanned through the text, and what he read worried him greatly. He stood, then walked into his home, gathering his saddle for Fyacin.

Silus muttered under his breath as he traversed the woodlands he was currently hiding in, cursing his bad luck. He hadn't even intended to take one of the eggs; he'd been changing his mind when the damn thing had started to hatch. And of course he couldn't just turn around and say it had hatched for him, because then he'd have been done for /intention/ of stealing an egg- whether it had hatched for him or not. He grumbled as the bump under his cloak wriggled around, wanting the hatchling to stay still, and stay damned quiet. They'd had enough trouble already, evading some weirdos who kept chasing him and hounding him to join some kind of 'rebellion'; he wasn't having it!! He sighed with tired frustration and sat down on a nearby tree root, chewing his lip. 'We'll rest here tonight, little one.' He said softly, finally opening his cloak. Bright blue eyes blinked up at him, and he felt his heart immediately swell with love as the dragon sent feelings of warmth, and restfulness across their connection, still yet unable to speak. 'Yeah. That's right.' He let him down to roam a little, getting to work on setting up a little camp; a small fire, a shabby shelter. They'd been safe in these woods for a good few days now, so he wasn't afraid they'd be found. He took a piece of flint to light the fire, then huddled under his cloak with a sigh.

Without a word to his pupils, Fyacin and Tannyll took off, her wings sending extreme downdrafts over the area. They turned in the air, before flying off, heading towards the edge of the forest. On her back, Tannyll read over the letter again. "/A stolen egg.../" he thought. "/Who knows what could happen./"

((Guys I'm going to add in a new riders form later on, they're going to be a part of the rebellion; for now I'm just going to have them flash in for a sec to push things forwards with me and Night )) Silus woke early the next morning to the very sound he'd been dreading to hear since he'd stolen the egg- the sound of beating wings. He scrambled to his feet and looked up with panic, seeing a bright, reflective flashing light, as though sunlight being bounced off a diamond. He hissed and scooped up his hatchling, immediately breaking into a run. He wouldn't be caught here- not now, not after they'd come this far. He heard a deafening roar and yelped with fear, wondering if he could really outrun a dragon. It seemed to be struggling to break through the canopy of the trees however, and he hoped in a panic it wouldn't be able to reach him. The chase lasted long- too long in his eyes, diving to avoid blasts of fire and magic sent down by the unseen rider, clutching his dragon tightly to his chest, focused only on defending the youngling. He heard the terrifyingcrunch of branches above him and looked up in time to see a claw lash down towards his body. He released a scream as pain split him from shoulder to hip on his back, his dragon yelping along with him and desperately pushing its head against his chest. Silus HAD to save him! He moved to where it was denser and more difficult to see him, not caring about his wound, just needing to escape, or- there!!! He sprinted faster and then dropped down to his hands and knees, shimmying himself into a hole, through the roots and underneath a tree. He curled up, shaking violently and trying to catch his breath, eyes closed tight. It took a full hour for him to no longer be able to hear the dragon circling, but by this point he was far too exhausted to move from his hiding place, and far too scared they'd be caught again. Silus eventually blacked out, body trembling with cold as he held the hatchling close to his chest, breath steaming in small clouds at his lips.

When Silus awoke, he woke to the sound of a soft, male voice, singing in the dull light of...a camp fire. Across from him sat Tannyll, laid against what looked to be a purple shawl of some sort, with his eyes partially closed. He was still keeping an eye on the hatchling that was nearby. "/To think that he stole the egg that would hatch for him...talk about once in a lifetime coincidence./" "/Agreed./" Fyacin opened her mouth and yawned, before moving slowly, lifting her head and looking at them both.

The hatchling sat up as though he'd been electrocuted the second Silus' mind woke, and sprinted over, hissing attitude the entire time at Fyacin. He shoved himself against Silus' head, who groaned. 'Damnit, dragon, stop that.' He grumbled, then tensed with pain as it shot up his back- but not as badly as before. He frowned, feeling fear spike through his chest as he heard singing, and was on his feet in a matter of seconds, clutching the hatchling to him again and nervously backing away, looking for all the world like a flighty deer. 'Who are you? Wh- AGH!' He yelped and dived behind a tree after spotting the dragon, holding in whimpers and the urge to run for it- he already knew what THAT would get him.

"My name is Tannyll, and this is Fyacin. We do not intend to harm you. However, I would like to know what did." He tilted his head watching Silus closely. Fyacin lowered her head, placing it on her front legs, blinking slowly at the pair as they his.

Silus nervously peered around the tree, warily glancing at the dragon. He slowly relaxed at her colouring; these weren't the ones that had harmed him. In fact, they appeared to have been healing him. He very slowly emerged, hiding the hatchling in his cloak. 'It- it was a big, white dragon.' He nervously replied. 'I think. The scales were like diamonds.' The hatchling gave a helpful, chirping input, and Silus shushed him as he hesitantly sat back down. 'H-how did you find me?'

"/Elf blood smells incredibly sweet./" Fyacin replied, blinking slowly. "/You were a beacon to me amongst everything else./" she closed her eyes again, content with listening for now. "Your wounds have not fully healed." Tannyll said, looking at him. "I shall inspect them when we return to our stronghold."
((Said stronghold could do with a name))

He croaked, looking as though he was going to run again. 'I'm not going to no stronghold, friend.' The hatchling forcefully poked his head out of the cloak, wanting to get in on the conversation. 'Th-thanks and all, b-but...' he stood, shakily starting to walk away, terrified that they might harm him.

"It will ensure you're safe. You are a rider, after all. And you need to be trained." He watched him closely. "When you're trained, and able to defend yourself, then you can choose what you wish to do." He stood and spread his arms. "I shall not force you to come, but know that the invitation is there for you to accept. I will not be leaving till morning anyway. So...sit. I enjoy the company." He motioned to the space that Silus had been previously occupying, beckoning him to sit back down.

He shuddered and felt himself tear up, fear hitting him hard again as he remembered the horrible diamond-scaled dragon that had almost killed him. He shakily returned to where he had been sitting, and winced as his stomach hungrily growled. It was immediately mimicked by his dragons, and he awkwardly looked down at him.

By the time the man arrived, logondi had already landed. Elwrin had already assumed the man was of no threat, but he carried his blade on his belt just as an added precaution. The horseman looked rather anxious. Not fearful or intimidated, but worried about something. From the way the man carried himself, Elwrin could tell he was a messenger. "state your business." Elwrin told the man. "I've been sent by the Varden to request assistance from the riders." The messenger informed him. "There have been recent reports of a group of rebels near here. Have you heard of them?" "I'm somewhat familiar with them, yes. What about them?" "They've acquired riders of their own. Just yesterday they laid siege to Gil'ead. We were able to slip a few men, including myself to ask for help, but from the condition they were in when I left, I can only assume Gil'ead has fallen..." The man trailed off. "I'll see what I can do." Elwrin assured the man. "I'm sure we will help, but if the situation is as bad as you claim, than Gil'ead is untouchable, at the moment anyways. I'll inform the other riders and hopefully this will be over before long." Elwrin nodded to the man as he got back on his horse. "Try to get to Ul'Dah. If no word reaches there before long, this war will be too large for us to handle alone. We may need the elves or even the dwarves to assist us."

He awkwardly looked up at Tannyll. 'I think he's scared of her.' He said, glancing back down at the male, who was baring his fangs and attempting to hide further inside of the elfs cloak.

The dragon hissed again, but this time slunk out of the cloak and slowly approached the meat, keeping his fangs bared the entire time. Once he reached it, he bit and tore off a large piece and quickly ran backwards to hide behind Silus as he ate, the elf giving him a weird look. 'I'm cautious, but you're taking this to a new extreme, aren't you?' He chided, the hatchling glaring at him.

The hatchling cooled off once the bigger dragon was asleep, and finally finished eating in peace. Silus warily watched the older elf. 'Where are you from?' He asked, glancing at the dragon. 'How long have you been a rider?'

'Three months, I think.' He said. 'He's... kinda small, I know.' He blushed nervously, knowing it would be rather astounding to discover theyd gone unfound for so long. 'I think he must just be a runt.' The black hatchling blinked up at him with wide eyes, wagging his tail slightly, not really understanding him yet. Silus focused and sent feelings of warmth and rest across their connection, followed by the image of his lap. The hatchling chirped and ran over, immediately sliding into the elf's lap and curling up, tucking his head under his wing. Silus stroked his neck gently with his hand. 'When... when do they start talking?' He asked. 'He can still only send mental images to get across what he wants from me.'

He teared up at the other elf's words, feeling even more worthless than before. 'No.' He muttered in response, before turning his back to him and lying down, signifying the conversation was over. He curled around the hatchling protectively and closed his eyes, internally deciding he would NOT be going to Urû'baen. He refused to be around other riders more worthy than he. As if they would ever respect a common thief; especially an elf, whom were expected to be of the higher moralities.
