Lisanna Johnson Bisexual She/her 19 Lisanna is very agile, making her capable of getting out of sticky situations easily. She is also particularly streetsmart and has useful connections. Unfortunately, Lisanna tends to get sick easily, as she has a weak immune system. She is overly suspicious of others and hardly trusts anyone. She has also developed a shoplifting problem as well as a lying habit, making herself rather untrustworthy. A small, slender thing, Lisanna only reaches a height of 5’3. Her skin is pale and smattered with plenty of freckles. She originally has dark, brown hair, but she recently bleached it (but left the roots dark). Her wavy locks reach her mid back. She has blue eyes that appear almost grey unless you look up close. Her style of clothing is what you would consider comfortable; she normally wears ripped jeans with a large, pale-colored cardigan or flannel and a t-shirt underneath. Her choice of shoes is the most “bold” thing about her clothing: Lisanna’s favorite kind are large, black combat boots with spikes and what not. Not only are the fun and cool, but they add a couple inches to her stature. They aren’t very convenient for moving around in, though. Her choice of a weapon is a metal baseball bat she stole from her younger brother. She keeps it in a old, well-worn black backpack, where she stores all of her necessities. Lisanna is very spunky and loud, bordering on being obnoxious. She hardly takes things seriously and can be useless in serious situations. She likes taking risks and thrill seeking; doing things that makes you wonder how she isn’t dead yet. Lisanna wasn’t always like this, though. Before she removed her chip, she was shy and timid, afraid to do just about anything. After the fact, however, she realized that she couldn’t live life being scared of everything, and, now that she was free from her home, had the chance to change. Though a friendly and funny person, she can be rude if she wants/needs to be. Sticky situations, food, crazy shoes Ignorant people, bugs, tight clothing Lisanna grew up in an abusive household. Her mother left when she was five as a result of her controlling and violent husband. She left two children behind with him, Lisanna and her younger brother. Her father only got worse after the divorce, taking his anger out specifically on Lisanna. This was kept inside for a long time until Lisanna finally opened up to a friend, who, concerned, told their parents. Those parents contacted CPS and they were going to take them away. Before that could happen, however, Lisanna found out that her friend and let her secret get out, so she stole some money and a baseball bat (along with some of her own things) and ran away. This is when she took out her chip. She’s been on the run since, and it’s only been harder that she’s chipless. CPS is probably still searching for her. 𝓹𝓪𝓻𝓽𝓵𝔂 𝓬𝓵𝓸𝓾𝓭𝔂

C e s a r i a - One of the worst things that Aria found out about traveling was the lack of settling down for a moment. However, it made moments like this much more gratifying, where the dogs were playing in the stream, birds chirping happily. She had her notebook out, sketching out a home that she felt could work best by the little stream. Perfectly sized for two people and two dogs, which had apparently been a theme for her sketches lately. Small, contemporary houses. Aria had gotten completely absorbed into her drawings that she didn't notice her gentle humming while she did so. She also didn't notice a soaking wet Ruffis bolting at her at top speed for a dog with small legs. It was only when he jumped onto her lap, where she was resting her sketchbook that she realized. "Ruffis, no, stop it!" He got onto his legs and was trying to lick her face, while she tried to get him off of her book. "You're gonna smudge the lines!" She wailed, trying to do way too much at once to get the excited, wet dog off of her.

"Come on, mate." She stood up and moved over to where Aria was seated, scooping up the excited fluffy creature and taking his kisses and yips in good grace. She waited until he'd calmed a little before setting him down and watching as he scampered back to Sampson, then sat down herself. "Whatcha drawing?"

C e s a r i a - She struggled with Ruffis excitedly kissing and loving on her, trying to hold away her notepad before Faun got over to them, picking her excited pup up. Her dark brown eyes looked up, sparkling with joy as she saw Faun with an excited Ruffis, who she let love on her rather than Cesaria, who was momentarily entranced by the sight. God, having a companion was hands down so much better than traveling alone. After shaking off her head a bit with a light smile, she shook off her notebook, trying to free it of the water that Ruffis had so kindly given it. She looked at Faun, giggling a bit. She was a bit wet from Ruffis' excitement too. "Oh, um, a house! To go there." She pointed across the lake, into the trees. Although to anyone else, that'd be a normal place, she could picture it hollowed out. Aria held out her notebook to Faun, trying to wipe off some of the water to show her the half-baked contemporary house sketch. "It's not done yet, but it's a start. Looking at it now, I think that I should push it back a bit more into the forest so it doesn't flood when there's a lot of rain. Besides, the soil is probably richer up here, so to make sure that it wouldn't totally collapse, I would need to push it back." She paused, giggling a bit and smiling at Faun. "Of course, that would be if I was building it. But this is just the concept that I'm working on."

( good luck with the dentist! and with making a new character lol )
Lisanna | open
”Alright, here goes nothing.”
With a deep breath, Lisanna was in the air, sailing through the air as she leaped from one roof to another. For a moment, she felt weightless, as if gravity had been cancelled out, but soon found herself hitting the rooftop and tumbling to a stop. Releasing the breath she didn’t realize she was holding, Lisanna stood and brushed herself off, looking back to where she jumped before moving on.
Being on the run was hard. Even though she had ran away at 16 and now she was 19, it never seemed to get easier. She couldn’t stop and settle down because she might be located or a random chip checking would occur. It also called for lots of endurance; three years ago, Lisanna would not have survived the way she was living now. Jumping from roof to roof would never even cross her mind. But now, things were different, and so was Lisanna. She found that moving above the bustling city streets proved to be more effecient in getting around. The only downsides are the risk of falling and ruining her prized possessions: her shoes. The girl had a deep passion for her funky boots and would come near to breaking down if they were ever messed up. She didn’t mind them getting a little scuffed up, though, since that was more reversible.
Stepping up to the next ledge, Lisanna looked over with a determined look. She’s made it this far now, there was no way she was gonna fall now. The gap between the two buildings was a little wider than normal, but she could make it. She backed up a few feet away from the edge before running back, building up momentum. Next thing she knew, she was in the air again, the same weightless sensation spreading through her body. She was barely an inch away from her destination when she felt herself falling.

"Oredence..." City of [since Shiloh is from there u can choose what the specialty is]. Okay, that was fine. What wasn't fine was the flashing blue and red lights coming up in the distance. Chip checkpoint. Shit. Aiden slowed his pace, mind racing. If he stopped, Shiloh would immediately get suspicious and report him to the authorities. If he continued... No, he wasn't letting himself get arrested. Not when he'd come this far. He picked Gertrude up and put her in her bag, adjusting his bag straps and pulling up his hood. He'd have to run at exactly the right time or it'd all be over. Shiloh squinted slightly and peered through the trees when he spotted the flashing lights up ahead. A chip checkpoint? What a pain. Shiloh hasn't had to deal with that recently, so why now of all days? He took a glance back at Aiden. "If you don't have a license to be out here, I might be able to cover you with the one that I have." He offered. Usually when they checked his chip they also checked his license to see if it was up to date. The one that he had did permit him to bring a guest along on these outings so he might be able to get Aiden through with out any problems. He wouldn't exactly be able to help if Aiden didn't have a chip though.

C e s a r i a - Upon feeling Faun's head on her shoulder, she took a slower breath, leaning her own head against Faun's. She was comfortable around her, but it was still newer to her to have someone (besides Ruffis, of course) that would touch her in a casual, caring manner. Aria listened to her talk, and lit up a bit. "Oh my god, I hadn't even considered a garden!" She exclaimed, grabbing her pencil and beginning to sketch it in. "But it would be necessary for something around these parts. It's more secluded, it's a little bit to the city, so having a garden would be super useful!" She paused in her sketching, looking at Faun with an affectionate smile on her face. "You're the best. I never would'a thought about that. I always forget about things like that." True, she was a very forgetful person. It's a miracle that she hadn't lost Ruffis by leaving him at a camp in her few years of traveling, but he was a smart dog and always followed her around. "What else would you need for living off the charts, and around here? Would a well be a good touch?" Though talking aloud, she was moreso asking Faun now.

Lisanna | rat
Lisanna was seeing her life flash before her eyes when all of a sudden, her hand was grabbed and she was being hoisted up onto the roof. She landed a little sloppily, but quickly brought herself up. She stood there for a moment, utterly speechless from shock, her mouth slightly open. She finally came to when her rescuer spoke, causing her to glance up at his face. He had wavy red hair with soft green eyes and freckles like she did. Lisanna blinked when she realized he reminded her of her younger brother (except he dressed way differently) and straightened her posture, shock finally leaving her eyes. “Thanks for the advice,” she said a little ungraciously, dusting off herself once more. But then, calming down a bit, she smiled, saying, “I thought I was a goner. Thanks for saving me.” Her heart was still racing in her chest, but at least she wasn’t hurt or dead.
Lisanna caught the stranger looking at her boots, so she smirked and showed them off. “Aren’t they cool? It’s a miracle they’re in a good condition. I was scared that I was gonna ruin them right there.” It seemed as if she cared more about her shoes than her own life... which isn’t too far from the truth.

my teeth hURT owie)
Technically I don't even have a licence to be alive... Aiden rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, stopping fully in his tracks. "Um... No, thank you. I think I'll just..." Shit. There was no way around it; they'd be covering every possible entrance to the city. So, unless he wanted to scale a wall, he'd have to turn around. He drew in a shakey breath, trying to keep from crying. He'd come this far without dying, and now he had to throw himself into the outlands again. Alone. And as far as he could see, the sun was setting out there. "Why did it have to be now?" He muttered to himself.
Faun grinned excitedly. "A well would be so cute! You could use that for drinking water and the lake for everything else!" She pointed slightly to the left of where the house would be "You could put a little barn or she'd there. Not just for livestock; it'd be there as shelter for any creatures that wanted to get out of a storm." She wasn't sure why discussing this idyllic lifestyle with Ari excited her so much, but it was rather fun. And nice to think of a better world.
Verlain was surprised to get such a friendly reaction; he wasn't used to strangers taking criticism so well. "Oh of course, gotta get your priorities straight." Honestly, he found the boots incredibly cool. Not something he'd wear himself, but he admired her dedication to funky footwear. He looked her up and down. She didn't look like much of a climber to him - more a beserker type, he thought, judging by the bat - but if she'd gotten up here she must be reasonably able. Or she'd found stairs. "Name's Verlain."

Lisanna | rat
Lisanna squinted at him, getting a better look at her savior. Like she had noticed before, he had similar features to her younger brother, with green eyes, freckles, and a pale complexion, but that was about it. This guy was way skinnier, athletic even; he probably climbed up hear regularly. Not to mention the red hair; her brother had brown hair. The girl blinked when she realized she was staring too much.
“Weird name,” she replied to his introduction. “But I guess mine is weird too. I’m Lisanna.” She thought about shaking his hand, but she didn’t really know this guy. Sure, he had caught her from falling, but who knows what he could want from her in return? She knew what people could be like from experience and would not rather go through that again. He could be a nice guy and have good intentions, but she needed to test the waters first.

{ aw no i hope u feel better!! }
C e s a r i a - She tapped her pencil to her lip for a moment and pointed it at Faun when she gave the idea. "Yes! I could make a little side section where they could avoid humans to nest, so when the humans eventually do come into the barn to take care of it all, they don't have to flee. That's gonna be a whole separate design." She made a rough outline--Aria was actually quite skilled in drawing architecture, but that was because she did it so much. Practice makes perfect, of course, and she practiced whenever she had a chance. It was one of the best parts of pausing--She had a new environment to work with, to put a house in. "I feel like we should put a basement in this, just in case they need to hide, but the soil is going to be weaker here, because it's so damp. And that's not a good environment to have a basement in, a lot of mold... Maybe a hidden room?"

So getting bands w ur braces is just like getting ur braces tightened but just on like four teeth so that is very fun)
"Yeah, well, weird names run in the family. It's supposed to mean "flame" in some language or other but I'm 300% sure it means "annoying bitch" in another." Verlain grinned. "So... what brings you to Cinare?" That was a nosy question, he knew, but Verlain was a nosy person. Besides, if she was here roofrunning she clearly wasn't chipped either; if she was, there'd be officers bearing down on her right at this very moment. So, by that logic, neither could dob in the other without exposing themself, therefore unless one of them physically attacked the other they could do each other no harm. He figured she'd probably just be here for the hell of it; Cinare didn't have much to offer. It was one of the few slightly more traditional cities, without all the holograms and completely glass buildings and things that the rest of the world seemed to have. More of a pit stop between cities.
Faun was finding Aria's enthusiasm quite charming, and a little cute. It was honestly adorable to watch her chatter on about something she was passionate about. "Maybe a secret room for the animals, and an attic for the humans? That way when someone turns up that you don't want to talk to, you can just hide in the attic until they were gone. Make it like another living space."

The platinum-haired girl snorted at his name’s explaination. “At least you have an idea of what it’s supposed to mean,” she laughed. “I’m pretty sure mine was created while my parents were drunk or something.”
Lisanna was a little hesitant to answer his next question. Verlain wasn’t turning out to be some creep; she knew a creep when she saw one; that she needed to be suspicious of, but she was still cautious. “Just passin’ through,” she answered breezily, trying her best to be vague. “I uh, prefer getting around away from people. They slow me down.” Lisanna winked at him; as to why, she didn’t know. She was feeling a tad nervous; she hadn’t made contact with anyone unfamiliar in awhile. She also wanted to get out of Cinare as soon as possible; the girl might be in trouble with a gang in the area (the one that fought aria and faun?). Lisanna messed with her hair absently before asking a similar question, “What about you? I haven’t seen anyone else up here before.”

{ i had braces for like,,, four years so i feel that pain lol. best of luck with ur orthodontics tho, it's a pain to do but the results are usually v satisfactory!! }
C e s a r i a - Aria shifted her knees to better support her notebook--And to move a bit closer to Faun. The only other people that she had really shared her architecture with were her twin and her future (but not really) fiancé. Both thought that it was all interesting, but she had never actually shared it with someone that was willing to talk through it all with her. Besides, her future fiancé had made an underhanded comments looking back on it, so this was a whole flight of stairs up from him. "That works!" She chirped, making a few notes on the bottom of her sketches. Her handwriting was very neat, and she wrote slowly with precision. "I'm going to design an interior, so I'll include both of those in that kind of design. I do like the idea of a little living space in the attic! Maybe with a few books so it's like, a reading nook. So you're not bored while you're avoiding people." She grinned at Faun, amused by her little jokes. She quickly sketched out a few more details before pausing. "Anything else we should add, or do you think this is all good? I'm gonna add some extra details to the details that we added together later, but I'm really, really excited to do the interior for this one."

C e s a r i a - There was something about talking about the house with her that put a certain... warmth in her chest. Aria couldn't really identify the feeling in words. It felt homely, like a fire crackling in the middle of winter--Rather, like Christmas eve, when they would sit in front of it and tell stories to one another, as a family. One of her favorite memories to look back on, when they were expectation-less and happy to be with her. "Okay! So to get a feel for how this house is actually gonna look on the inside, I need to kno--" She paused, sitting upright. Aria could've sworn on Ruffis that there was a twig snapping. She shut her notebook. The creatures out here could be dangerous. "Did you hear that?"

Lisanna | rat
Lisanna nodded in understanding, rolling her eyes as she thought of the people Verlain was describing. "Ugh, tell me about it. They're so stuck up and think that their robots are the greatest thing to ever happen to us." She shook her head at the thought. She never has and never will warm up to modern ideas. Everyone says that it's "the future" and will "make everything easier", but for her, technology was making her life much more difficult.
froze at his question; he had noticed her practically staring at him. "Oh, uh, yeah, you look like someone I used to know." Which wasn't too far from the truth. She hadn't seen or talked to her brother in three years. Sometimes she felt guilty about leaving him behind, but they were never close anyways. Her father had made it clear that he was his favorite child and she was hardly anything to him when she lived under his roof. She tried not to think about her past too often, but Verlain was sort of a reminder to her. Not a necessarily bad one, it just made her miss her sibling a bit.

Sampson had been lying peacefully on the muddy banks, but now he was up on his feet, hackles raised. Even if the pair hadn't heard the noise, the two dogs would've definitely given them a warning. "Grab your stuff." Faun murmured. Once again, they needed to be ready to run if this confrontation went South. Their bags had been dumped carelessly by the stream, and the sound of what seemed to be approaching footsteps was coming from roughly the same direction; in order to retrieve their belongings, they would need to move closer. She really wished she had a bigger knife.
"Oh, someone handsome I hope. If they were less than a solid eight out of ten, I don't want to hear it." Verlain turned his nose up with a fake snobby expression and tone, breaking into a grin moments later as he found himself unable to stay in character. He paused, looking her up and down again. "Well, if you're not headed in any particular direction, wanna run with me? I'll make sure you don't fall again. Promise." He winked and have her a cocky grin.

Lisanna gave him a skeptical look. She'd only just met him and he already expected her to join him? In most cases, she would refuse straight-up, but Verlain had just saved her life. It would be rude of her to say no at this point. Releasing a rather defeated sigh, the platinum blonde nodded in agreement to his proposal. "Sure, why not. It's been awhile since I've talked to someone who doesn't hate my guts." She smiled goofily at her last sentence before slinging her bag onto her shoulder and approaching Verlain. "Just so you know, there's a group of people around these parts that don't like me very much. I kind of screwed them over." She didn't specify who exactly she was talking about, but Lisanna tends to be vague with everything she says. "So we need to leave here fast if you want me to stick around." She raised her dark eyebrows, as if giving him an option to change his mind before they set out again.

C e s a r i a - Aria didn't need to be told twice. She slowly crept towards her bag, crawling carefully against the slightly moist soil. Ruffis seemed to have stopped in his tracks, slowly beginning to move back towards Cesaria, when a huge, boar-wolf hybrid jumped out at him. Ruffis narrowly avoidided death by going between it's legs, crying as he did so, but he wasn't the only one crying. Aria screeched, grabbing her bag and trying to get up and to her dog. Ruffis had been with her since the beginning--To see anything going after him was bone-shatteringly terrifying. Her natural flight response had kicked in, but in the efforts to get away, she threw her entire bag at the beast, hitting it right in the side to distract it from Ruffis. On the bright side, it was no longer trying to eat Ruffis. On the negative side, a meek architect had now become it's prey, it's teeth baring as it roared, bolting at her and Faun.

I'm really sorry abt being so inactive. insomnia is being a Big Hoe rn and it's not fun)
"Oh?" The mention of trouble had Verlain intrigued, but he decided not to push it. He knew how shady people could get around these parts. "Well, in that case, we'd better get going, yes?" He turned and put his foot back slightly, positioning himself to run. "Race you to that building."
Faun felt a surge of anger. Not only had this beast ruined their peaceful moment, but it had the AUDACITY to go for the smallest, fluffiest creature she knew. "Oh sod off!" She hollered, picking up a smooth stone from the riverbank and flinging it with all her might. It didn't do much in the way of harming the creature, but taking a rock to the snout certainly deterred it. She used this opportunity to grab her bag and sling it over her shoulder, then pick up another stone. Sampson had decided his priorities and did not attack the beast, instead picking up Ruffis by the scruff of his neck and taking him across the stream, out of it's line of sight. He too seemed to realize both his and Ruffis's chances of survival were slim if either of them tried to attack.
