C e s a r i a - She continued staring down the supplements until she heard the door open, her head turning ever so slightly. She saw her slip out, and waited for the cashier to stop talking. She clicked her tongue a few times, thinking about it. There were a few ways she could get out of this, and perhaps the best one was to play dumb. "That doesn't seem familiar at all... Agh, I can't believe I don't remember." She slowly released the cashier, her shoulders falling a bit. "I'm going to have to come back later after I ask my sister which one I use. Thank you so much for your help!" She walked out quickly, trying to avoid getting their number. Even though she led them on, Aria wasn't one to get them all hopeful and just lave them disappointed. She quickly put her hair back into a low-ponytail, looking over at Faun hopefully. "Did you get everything?" She asked while untying Ruffis, and looping the leash around her wrist instead.

Aiden stared up at the stranger, mind rushing to figure out what to say. He tried to push himself backwards, but only succeeded in getting his foot further stuck in the metal. "Ah... um, yeah. I'm good." He didn't seem like he wanted to hurt him, but Aiden was still wary. And He hated to admit it but he was also, well, afraid. Out here if this guy decided to attack him, there'd be nobody to stop that happening. He pulled his injured hand up into his sleeve, pressing the fabric down on the cut as he watched the stranger with wide eyes. This was not an ideal position to be in when meeting potentially dangerous people with unknown intentions. "Pleasedonthurtme." The words came out in a frenzied rush, which he hadn't quite intended. And now he just felt like a fool. Shiloh watched as the stranger proceeded to get himself more stuck and he raised an eyebrow slightly when he said he was good and didn't need any help. Was he sure about that? He looked pretty stuck to Shiloh and like he needed a hand, but if he said he was good maybe it was best to just leave him alone. He was getting ready to walk away when a rush of words came from the stranger. The words were all jumbled together but he was pretty sure he had heard him right. 'Please don't hurt me.' After he said that Shiloh realized that the man in front of him was just scared. But why? He didn't entirely know, but he would try his best to make him feel a little bit more calm. To make himself look a little less intimidating he crouched down and set his fishing pole on the ground beside him before holding his hands up in a gesture to show that he meant no harm. "I'm not going to hurt you. I come out here to go fishing, not to go around hurting people. I just want to help, and to me it looks like you need it. And don't worry, I don't need anything in return. I know first hand how easy it is to get lost and hurt yourself out here." He said to him then offered him a friendly smile.

C e s a r i a - "Cool," Aria responded in response to hearing they had gotten everything they were there for. She began walking next to her, still clinging to Ruffis' leash, which had been a trend for her. Half of the time she didn't even realize she was doing it, and when she did, it reduced the stress of him running off or doing anything to get them caught. She didn't fully trust Ruffis not to bolt after another dog, so she always clung to make sure he would stay by her side. After a block, Faun pulled out the water bottle and handed it to her, which she took with sparkling eyes. "You're not wrong, but you are the best! I'm so happy I have a new one..." She giggled a little bit, putting it into the side of her own bag. "I'm so sick of using the plastic ones. They made so much noise when I was doing anything and I had to move things in my bag." She rolled her shoulders back, a bit more pep in her step. She felt like she could relax now, with her last thing off her to-do list. "Thanks for grabbing one for me. That was the last thing I needed to do in town."

Shiloh was happy to see the man before him a little bit less on edge and accepting of the help that he was offering. He was happy to help and glad that he could do something to make this stranger's life a little bit easier today. He nodded at the instruction he was given and held down the sheet of rusted metal with his hands. He was careful of where he placed his hands because he didn't want to get a cut in them as Aiden did. As they worked to get Aiden's foot free, Shiloh thought they could fill the silence with a little conversation. "My name's Shiloh, by the way." He said to him. He felt like the stranger had a right to know the name of the person helping him.

C e s a r i a - She clicked her tongue a few times, trying to think. She knew that she had to be going north, but where she was going to next was a mystery. She had considered city hopping, but didn't want to appear too suspicious if people saw reports of her. Eventually, someone would put pieces together. Aria personally liked to stay out of sight, only stopping when neccessary. "If I'm being honest... I don't really know," Cesaria admitted, pulling on her ponytail to tighten it. "I usually just try to go north, because it's the easiest way for me to find. Eventually, I'm sure I'll hit something." She paused for a moment. Am I wandering aimlessly? No, I'm definately trying to escape this place, but I have. Literally no idea where I'm going. The thoughts dawned on her and she blinked a few times, her lack of plan astounding even her. She knew she was unprepared and went with the flow, she just didn't know how much. "What about you? Where are you headed?" Hopefully in the same direction as I am. She didn't want to part yet--Aria had grown a bit attached to Faun. Besides, she never got to meet anyone, and this could be her chance to have a friend, or even something more, but getting ahead of herself wasn't smart right now.

{ get some rest girl u deserve it!! & if its the end of the school year for u, maybe ur just extra tired bc the end of school is a lot emotionally & socially, yknow? } { what was ur essay on? }
C e s a r i a - It had been a desperately long time since Aria had felt her heart flutter with joy, since she felt a wave of joy come over her like that. She wasn't miserable traveling, but it was lonely nonetheless. She slowed her pace to match Faun's. A smile came to her face, her deep brown eyes gentle yet eager. "I would love that." Even her voice seemed to be trying to hold back excitement, as if she was trying to be mature for the situation. I have a friend. Even the words sounded nice to think. She wanted to let her imagination go wild, to think of the adventures they could go on. Much like the books she had read, the movies she had seen, but she wanted to keep her imagination in check and her thoughts realistic. It didn't stop the giddy feeling of having Faun around, though.

(It's probably all because you have been writing for so long, or maybe staring a screen for so long is my guess. Go rest up if you need it)
Shiloh watched as Aiden got his foot free and he let go of the piece of metal when he was sure his foot was out. He looked up at him and noticed him looking at a cut on his hand and his stomach turned at the sight of blood there and he quickly looked away. "You're welcome... um, I might have something for that." He said as he pointed over in the direction of Aiden's hand without looking up at him. He shrugged his backpack off his shoulders and searched through one of the pockets before producing a small white first aid kit. "Here." He said as he held it out to him. "Whatever is in there should work for a while."

It was creative writing (which I enjoy a lot more than reports n things) and I did it on my childhood home (which I'm actually in right now) and its gardens so it was nice to write about but I'm not entirely sure how well I did. Saturday tomorrow though so I can sleep in until the afternoon)
Faun could barely hold back a giddy grin. She's so cute she's so cute she's so CUTE "In that case, it seems I'm heading north too." She returned to her regular pace, though this time almost with a skip in her step. The last time she'd teamed up with another fugitive hadn't exactly gone to plan, but she was really looking forward to traveling with Cesaria. A little bit more than usual. Sampson too seemed to notice the change in atmosphere, bouncing along playfully beside his new friend with his brown eyes bright.
Aiden noticed Shiloh's aversion to blood and did his best to block the wound from his right, wanting to be courteous. He had just offered him his first aid kit, after all. Not to mention it seemed to be far more well stocked than Aiden's own. He took it with a mumbled "thanks" and began cleaning his wound. He could dress it with his own bandages but he had nothing but water to clean it with, so he was grateful Shiloh had let him use his kit. He used as little as he could, then put it back, shifting so he could grab his own pack and bandage his wound.

{ oh that's a super cool topic to write for! creative writing is always more fun lmao, at least for me. I'm sure u did great get good sleep tomorrow!! }
C e s a r i a - She couldn't help the smile on her face, and even her attempts to make it fall back to a neutral expression were feeble. She didn't really care, anyways, a smile was always a nice thing to see on a person. At least, that's what she thought. She seemed to be able to navigate with Faun well, the shift in pace being easier for her. Ruffis kept up just as well, and was frolicking around with his nose to the sky, his tail wagging furiously. "Do you want to head out of the city today, or stay the night here? I usually try to get out asap, but if the city is safer at night, it's worth it to stay." That, and the fact that she wanted to make sure that Faun had a say in the matter. Besides, it was always better to get a second opinion when she could.

i hopefully will! usually I wake up, get a reply in, sleep for a bit, wake up and reply again and keep repeating that so if my reply schedule is all over the place that'll be why) do u think these two should have a run-up with a gang or something to get some excitement?)
"I've never had trouble sleeping in cities, usually police stop patrolling after 11 unless they get a call. And so far I haven't had much trouble with anyone else either." Sure, she'd gotten the occasional person yelling at her for snoozing in a tree or something, but that was it. The worst that had happened was being mistaken for someone homeless, which she technically was. "People see you then never think about you again. So yes, if you'd feel safer sleeping in the city, the city is where we will sleep." She offered Ari a much gentler smile, brushing a piece of hair behind her ear. She was already excited for the days ahead.

Shiloh took the first aid kit from Aiden's hand when it was handed back to him then put it back into the same pocket in his backpack where he retrieved it from. He looked back up to him and made sure not to look at his injured hand. "I was wondering, how come you were out here in the forest?" He asked with a slight tilt of his head as he shrugged his backpack onto his shoulders. He quickly realized that the question may be a bit too personal for them having just met and he spoke again. "You don't have to answer the question if you don't want to, I was just curious because I come out here a lot and have never seen anyone else out here besides me and the cat that follows me around." He said quickly. The idea that Aiden might possibly not have a chip never crossed his mind.

{ that makes sense. just try to get as much sleep as possible & if u cant reply right away, i understand!! } { yesss let's do it! I'm down for the gang thing }
C e s a r i a - Aria couldn't help her own smile growing at Faun's smile. I mean, come on, was it even legal to be that cute? Probably not, because they were on the run. She thought about it for a moment. The city scared her, as it always had. She was raised on a large property, so getting out of there and running to a city wasn't actually easy. In fact, it wasn't until she had actually escaped that she went to a major city for the first time. And her words put two fears to rest--City hopping, and sleeping in the city. "Alright, then let's stay here for the night. We'll head out tomorrow. I usually sleep in alleyways, would you be okay with that?" Cesaria always found that she could take a good nap on a box, and felt safer when Ruffis was in one too. It was harder to take a dog that you didn't know was there.

{ lMAO I LOVE THAT } { yea I think that's a good idea! }
C e s a r i a - She laughed a bit, covering her nose by putting her hand over her mouth. Truth be told, Aria hadn't actually bonded with someone like this for a while. She didn't want pity, but it actually had been many years since she made a connection to someone else like this. There was a certain contentment that came with Faun. The way she talked, the way they could joke, it made her feel comfortable and happy. She was fine on her own, don't get her wrong--She would be perfectly capable leaving the country by herself. But to have another person was more than enjoyable. "I know, right? It's like a five star, form fitting mattress," Cesaria joked, before beginning to walk a bit faster, purposefully brushing her hand against Faun's. "Now c'mon, let's go find a nice alleyway to snuggle up in--With boxes, of course."

At first Aiden was worried, then as he elaborated he was relieved. Was it better to lie or just stay silent? "Oh I was just... uh..." And once again you didn't think before you spoke. "Going for a walk. I suppose I got a little lost." He quickly changed the subject. "You like fishing, you say?" He felt something moving in his hood and almost screamed before Gertrude popped her head out to see what was going on. Dumbass. Forgot you had a whole lizard huh?Shiloh nodded at his explanation, it made sense even though he didn't know of anyone else that came out here. But it was entirely possible that Aiden heard about the place somewhere and decided to come and check it out. He smiled slightly though when he brought up fishing. "Yeah, I do. There is a nice spot for fishing on a lake back that way." He said as he pointed in the direction that he came from. "I only do catch and release though, I don't do it to catch food or anything. And I don't always catch anything either, but it's pretty relaxing if I just kind of need a break from everything."

C e s a r i a - Aria couldn't help but snicker, a smile apparently glued to her face. "Of course, darling! I really went all out with our reservation." She turned down an alleyway, looking around it before going down a few connecting. It wasn't long until she had hit a dead end, a few boxes lying around. Aria looked at Ruffis. She had a habit of letting him sniff around before they lied down, so she could make sure that he was comforatable there. Leaning down and unclipping him, he began to wander, sniffing everything that he could before going back to Cesaria, his tail wagging. She nodded a few times, motioning around. "Our room, milady!" She had a slightly flirtatious tone to her joke at this point, but she couldn't stop giggling through it, grinning widely.

Shiloh watched curiously as Aiden grabbed his pet and placed her on his shoulder. He has never seen a bearded dragon before, well at least not right in front of him like this. He nodded at Aiden's words then looked back to his face. "Yeah, you're right about that one." He said with a nod as he gathered up his things. A thought crossed his mind and he looked back to the stranger. "Do you know your way back?" He asked with a slight tilt of his. He remembered Aiden mentioning that he was lost so he might not know how to follow the trail back.

C e s a r i a - Cesaria couldn’t help but laugh, a red tint coming to her cheeks as she began to flatten her own boxes, still giggling to herself. “Thank you, thank you!” God, it had been so long since she had last joked like this. It felt so good to be able to let her hair down—Which she did, releasing her hair from the low ponytail. She flopped down onto her boxes, pulling off her jacket and calling over Ruffis. He poked his head up and trotted over. At the very least, he knew to go to her when she called his name. He flopped into her, and she scratched his belly gently before kissing his head before looking over at again. “I guess this is home for the night, then?”

C e s a r i a - She was good at setting up shop--It took her absolutely no time at all to organize herself to have a little bit of a pillow with an extra shirt, and using her jacket as a blanket. Ruffis had curled up next to her, recognizing that it was time to go to bed. Aria yawned, stretching herself out for a moment before lying down onto the folded out box. Ruffis quickly s******ed into her, all snuggled up to his owner. "I couldn't agree more," She responded, trying to get comfy without disturbing her little dog. "I can't wait to be out of the city. There are way too many cops here for me." She paused for a moment, shrugging while looking at her from her sleeping spot. Cesaria herself had a small, soft smile on her face as she looked at her for a moment. She's so pretty... She thought, before kissing Ruffis' head. "We'll head out first thing. Sweet dreams, Faun." She curled up, shutting her eyes slowly. Although she hadn't realized it until now, she was exhausted. Shutting her eyes and drifting off to sleep felt so good and natural that Cesaria was out in no time whatsoever. She usually took a lot longer to fall asleep, but with everything that had happened today, every part of her was exhausted. But it was a good day, so she couldn't complain.

C e s a r i a -
Aria was a light sleeper. She had used to be a heavy sleeper, as she had a nice, decent mattress and high-tech security systems. If anyone so as much laid a hand on her, there'd be alarms and sirens going off. But as she adjusted to her newer lifestyle, she learned that she had to be ready to go whenever. That included at three am, if sirens went off for different reasons. So as she was nudged a bit, she shifted, opening one eye a bit before Ruffis barked a bit, staying close to her. She forced herself to wake up and sit up, looking at the shadows with huge eyes before grabbing Ruffis. Everything in her told her to run, but they were in a corner. Aria, her heart beating fast, looked at Faun, her terrified eyes begging for instruction.
