C e s a r i a - As she spoke of a plan, Aria bent down to Ruffis, taking off the leash and wrapping it around her hand before tightening her low-ponytail. Picking Ruffis up in one arm, she made sure that everything was secure moving-wise. She was used to holding him and walking--Sometimes she would button up her jacket all the way and just hold him in there, letting him poke his head out of the neck-hole for long travel days. It was actually quite good for her back, with the weight of the backpack and the weight of Ruffis counteracting. She nodded along to the plan, focusing in and repeating it multiple times in her head so she wouldn't get messed up. Aria prepared herself to run, but stopped as she was asked her name. A sweet, charming smile crossed her lips as she said, "Oh, my name's Cesaria. But most people just call me Aria, Ari, Ces, or anything of the sort. Anyways, see you there, alley by the red sign." Part of that was just for her to repeat so she didn't get confused, but surely enough, she took off in that direction, her steps light, but her eyes watching for police cars. Surely enough, after following the right directions, Cesaria had reached her destination, breathing heavily as she put her dog down, clipping the leash on once more.

C e s a r i a - She giggled, about to retort with her own endurance issue, but was quickly pulled deeper into the alley. She squeaked a bit, not quite used to being around people. Or in that case, being pulled around, which was never something that happened in her household. If someone so as much raised their voice at Cesaria that wasn't her own parents, they'd be fired on the spot. The massive difference between then and now was absurd, yet noteworthy. Aria stayed quiet for the moments that they could hear the police sirens, Ruffis close to her legs. As soon as they passed, she let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. Glancing around for any security cameras or anything that could be a mic and not finding one, she nodded a bit and began to speak freely. "So, you're a fugitive too?" She hadn't quite figured out if she was just really helpful, or if she was fugitive, but she assumed that Faun was a refugee as well.

C e s a r i a - She listened carefully to the story, trying to take in as much as she could. An airy smile seemed to cross her lips unknowingly, her cheeks brightly red while she held her hand for that moment. Aria would kill for physical contact, even more so from an attractive girl such as Faun. She shrugged a bit at her question, deciding not to explain why she ran away at the moment. "Since I was seventeen, so I believe that makes it..." She took a moment, biting the inside of her cheek as she did the quick math in her head, which didn't turn out to be quick for her. "Two years. Yeah, that sounds about right."

{ welcome!! }
C e s a r i a - She didn't know how to feel now knowing that Faun was younger than her, and a minor. But they were within a few years of each other, so them interacting was absolutely fine, at least, in Aria's book. Besides, it's not like she would do anything more than some light flirting. She just met the girl, after all. It was pretty easy for her to brush aside, but keeping it in the back of her mind. At the notion of going to the store, she lit up a bit. She really needed a new, good water bottle--She had already gotten the rest of her supplies. If not for that water bottle, she would've been long gone out of town by now. But since it was so essential, she wanted something decent. "I would absolutely be willing to go with you. I actually need a water bottle before I get out of town. Usually I try not to stop in cities, but I broke my last one and since water is like, essential, I wanted a good one," She explained quickly. Flipping her hair, and fluttering her eyelashes playfully, she added, "And I'm quite good at distracting people."

C e s a r i a - Aria herself let out a laugh, covering her nose with her hand so she didn't snort. That was one of the many things that she was taught during her politeness lessons back at home, and she never grew out of the habit. She followed her instinctively--It didn't take long to gain Cesaria's trust, so Faun had already gained it. Besides, she had gotten her out of trouble once, so she was willing to follow along. "I'm just hoping it's a young person, it's the worst when you have to hit on old guys." She paused for a moment, shrugging. "Or any guys. I don't feel as bad about stealing as I should." She moved on from the topic of flirting quite quickly, addressing the second issue at hand. "The way I see it, if most grocery stores waste enough money throwing out older food, they can throw a bit my way. Not to mention that the CEOs have money to spare and then some. At least, that's what I tell myself. Keeps the guilt from ruining me."

C e s a r i a - Amused by the banter, she couldn't seem to take a warm, cutesy smile off her face. "No small buisnesses. Got it, I'm down with that." She was fine with that. It was usually more expensive because the quality was higher anyways, so she tried her best to just aim for cheap, which was also a tactic to help with the guilt. She felt like she wasn't taking something of great value, although, in reality, most everything had value to her, because she was scavenging. "If you see a decent water bottle, snag it. I broke mine." Like an idiot. "I distract the cashier, yeah?" She wanted to make sure of the plan, as she was usually wrong when it came to these kinds of things.

C e s a r i a - Following her lead, she made sure to tie up Ruffis. She scratched his head for a moment, trying to comfort him, as he didn't really like to be on a leash. She gave him a light smile and a kiss on the head before standing upright, pulling her hair out of her ponytail and letting it fall. A cocky smirk came to her face as she pushed the hair in front of her face back, her hand finishing running through her hair. Aria couldn't quite put her finger on why she was more excited to do this with her than she did when she was alone, but was just pleased that it was going to be less work. "Let's do this thing." Putting her scrunchie around her wrist and quickly following Faun in, her eyes slowly scanned across the store. For both the casheir and for security cameras. She found the cashier before she found any cameras, glancing at Faun, muttering, "Meet you at the front after?"

"Mhm." Faun avoided making eye contact with the cashier, pretending to be searching for items on the lower shelves. She bent down to adjust her laces, hooded eyes glancing up from under her fringe to search for cameras. "Today's my lucky day..." Nowadays a lot of shops had abandoned traditional cameras and guards, and had instead opted for chip sensors. That was good for people like them, unless the shopkeep randomly decided to do a check... Make it quick. She scanned the shelves, looking up at the cough medicine while the hand furthest from the counter slipped a few bandages into her pockets. Luckily her jacket pockets were deep. She continued on, passing a young woman looking at pregnancy tests, who she offered a polite, sympathetic smile to. On her way past she snatched a small tube of antiseptic ointment, but she couldn't find any water bottles. There were a few at the counter, but... Better not to risk it. Not unless Aria can distract them...

C e s a r i a - She had to take a deep breath. She had done this a million times before, and even more times before that when she was practicing at home. She began to walk up to the cashier, looking around curiously. She stopped at the register, glancing at the water bottles with a sparkle in her eye for a moment. Not yet. Trust Faun to see if there are other ones, She told herself before looking at the cashier. A smile came to her face, sweet and pure. "Ciao, cutie," She greeted invitingly, pushing her hair behind her ear. Her face naturally went to a brighter red, embarrassed that she was flirting. She used this to her advantage, glancing down coyly while holding her hands behind her back.

we'll see what everyone thinks when we get a few more members Aiden was coming upon a city in the near distance, but he had no idea which one. He had lost his map a few days ago in a storm, and at this point he was beginning to realize how much trouble he was in. For the past while he'd just been following any vaguely building shaped mass on the horizon, but it hadn't exactly been working out for him; he'd been in this forest for days. He sighed and sat down, opening his smaller bag and letting Gertrude out to catch insects. He leaned back against a tree and closed his eyes for a moment, getting as much rest as he possibly could. (Not making Shiloh a rebel just yet, but he'll get there eventually) Shiloh hummed to himself as he walked through the forest with a backpack on his shoulders and a fishing pole in hand while a tabby cat followed at his heels. He had just finished up some fishing at the small lake not too far into the forest. He came out here pretty often, mostly to clear his head and to get away from the tense atmosphere at home. His actions didn't look that suspicious to any officers tracking his chip as long as he stayed on the 'paths' and only went to the lake. Not to mention that he also had a license to fish out here, which he had to keep updated pretty regularly so he didn't get in trouble with anyone. This part of the forest used to be some sort of preserve or nature park with no real borders separating it from anything else that has been kind of abandoned for some time. As far as Shiloh knew he was the only one that came out here. The trails were pretty faint, but you could notice them if you knew where you were looking. Any signs that were here had either rusted away or fallen over. And there were piles of junk here and there that people had dumped a long time ago and that were now covered in moss and other plant life. As for the cat, well it wasn't exactly his, just some stray that would follow him out on these little excursions in hope of getting some fish from him. Even though he came out here for privacy he didn't mind the company all that much.

Faun did a quick survey of the aisles, checking to see if there was anything else she needed. She glanced up to see the cashier flush at Aria's charming greeting, and a smile made its way onto her face. She'd never been able to make someone do that. Another round of the store was made and still, she didn't find any other water bottles. "Come on, Ari..." If she just got the cashier to turn away as Faun came closer to the counter, one of them could get the bottle and they'd be out of here.
The faintest rustle disturbed Aiden's rest, different to that of the rustle of bearded dragon feet in the leaves. He sat up, rigid, ready to flee, and caught a flash of orange fur in the trees. Fox? No, they went extinct back in 2017. He stood, picking up Gertrude and letting her curl up on his neck, hidden by his hood, then picked up his bag. Years of being a fugitive probably should've taught him to never go investigate the strange noise, but his curiosity got the better of him. He followed the briefest glances of the bright spot, all the way to a... -nother person. Crud. Though he knew he'd been walking reasonably quietly, he still feared they may have heard him. He stared at the back of their head, frozen to the spot. They appeared to be going fishing, judging by their equipment, so perhaps they weren't here to fight. Or maybe they'd just kill him and continue on as if nothing had happened. Nobody would come looking for a non-chipped, after all.

Shiloh hadn't heard any sort of noises coming from the forest but the cat following him sure did. The cat flicked it's ears and stopped walking before turning and looking back toward the direction Aiden was in and watching the woods carefully. Shiloh did notice his little friend not trailing behind him and he turned and started walking backwards down the path for a few steps as he tried to get the cat's attention again. "Hey, I'm going to leave you behind again if you don't follow me back." He said and when that got no response from the cat he spoke again. "I got treats back at my car, if you stick around." Still no response. He stopped walking and watched the cat, in one last attempt to get the cat back to him he clicked his tongue a few times to get its attention. That seemed to work and the cat turned back to Shiloh with its tail held high and it rubbed against his legs when it reached him. "Took you long enough. What has you so worked up anyway?" He asked quietly and looked in the direction that cat was looking and squinted slightly when he thought he saw something. Was that just another pile of junk? Or was it something else?

The loud noise of something falling made Shiloh jump and it spooked the cat making it run off a bit down the path. Whatever fell was definitely human as he heard a few exclamations coming from that direction. Abandoning the cat and the walk back to his car, he jogged lightly back down the path to where this mystery person was. "Hey! Are you alright?" He called out before he reached them. Shiloh probably shouldn't be helping random strangers hiding in the woods doing who knows what, but he wasn't just going to leave them behind especially when they sounded like they were hurt. "Hey! Do you need some help?" He called out again before he pushed through the small line of brush and came face to face with the stranger.

Aiden stared up at the stranger, mind rushing to figure out what to say. He tried to push himself backwards, but only succeeded in getting his foot further stuck in the metal. "Ah... um, yeah. I'm good." He didn't seem like he wanted to hurt him, but Aiden was still wary. And He hated to admit it but he was also, well, afraid. Out here if this guy decided to attack him, there'd be nobody to stop that happening. He pulled his injured hand up into his sleeve, pressing the fabric down on the cut as he watched the stranger with wide eyes. This was not an ideal position to be in when meeting potentially dangerous people with unknown intentions. "Pleasedonthurtme." The words came out in a frenzied rush, which he hadn't quite intended. And now he just felt like a fool.

C e s a r i a - It didn't take long to fall back into a flirtatious rythm. In fact, she seemed to be good at it, which surprised her after all this time. Well, a talent learned well never goes away, She thought, listening to the cashier flirt back. She knew that it was about time to get going, but she desperately wanted to grab one of the bottles under the counter. When Faun came into her line of vision without one, she quickly made up an excuse to get the cashier away from their counter. "I'm gonna have to get your number, but I'm actually here for something so if you could help me out, that'd be so super great." The cashier opened their mouth to respond, but Aria kept talking to continue why they had to come along with her. "I'm near-sighted too, so could come with me and help read the labels...?" Sure enough, she had dragged the cashier out with her to look at supplements, and was letting them talk her through the brands. She slipped her arms around their one, gently leaning against them as they talked with rosy cheeks. Aria's eyes didn't shift, but she had to trust that Faun would get out of there within the period of time they were talking about skin supplement pills.
